Magnolia has suffered from a strange attack by dragons. Fairy Tail is up against a new enemy that has been alive for centuries. As they wondered who this enemy was, a wizard by the name Elfaud arrived and he said he knows the enemy. He was brought back to the guild and everyone gathered to hear his story.

"Let me get this straight..." Laxus said. "Magnolia was attacked by a couple of fellow dragon slayers that wanted to recruit Natsu, Wendy, and Gajeel; and who were alive for centuries because they suffered the same fate as Acnologia? They say they plan to bring back the dragons, and this guy knows something?"

"That sounds about right." Elfaude said. "As I said, my name is Elfaude. I know about those who attacked your town."

"How do you know about them?" Nashi asked.

"I know a lot of things about everything and everyone in the world." Elfaude said. He looked at the three dragon slayers. "Including you three, and those like you. You three traveled through time with you learning your magic from fellow dragons. The ones named Igneel, Metalicana, and Grandina." They were surprised when he named them.

"How do you know their names?" Wendy asked. "How do you know that about us?"

"This is why." Elfaude said as he pointed to his eyes. People got a closer look and showed that he caused them to be colored like a rainbow. "This form of magic is known as the All Seeing. It's an advance form of magic that allows me to see anything in the world, including a person's past. That's how I knew those guys would be here."

"Then tell us... Is everything we heard from this enemy true?" Simon said as they all wanted to know.

"Yes." Elfaude said with everyone getting shocked on the confirmation. "Everything Saffron said is true." It just seemed so unbelievable. Many couldn't figure it out.

"How is this even possible?" Nashi said.

"Let me start by explaining who I am." Elfaude said. "For many years, my ancestors and I have been weary of these people. We've used the All Seeing to keep an eye on them. Sapphron and his associates were among the first set of people to become dragon slayers. They fought against the dragons that were opposed to humans during the Dragon King Festival and ended up suffering the same fate as Acnologia. They're not as savaged, but are just as dangerous."

"Excuse me." Nova said. "How is it possible that a dragon slayer becomes a dragon?"

"A good question." Elfaude said. "When someone learns Dragon Slayer Magic, a small item begins to form inside the dragon slayer's body. It has become known as the dragon seed."

"I remember hearing about that." Wendy said.

"The more a dragon slayer uses their power, or bathes in dragon's blood, the more nourishment that seed gets." Elfaude said. "Eventually, that seed will sprout and the dragonfication process will begin." For those who were dragon slayers, it was a terrifying thought.

"Dad, do you and the others have that?" Nashi asked, but Natsu wasn't sure how to answer that.

"Yeah... Our dads and Wendy here have been dragon slayers for far longer, but they're perfectly fine." Gale said.

"The dragons that raised these three placed themselves inside their bodies, according to my All Seeing, and developed antibodies." Elfaude explained. "They managed to prevent that from ever happening. The same is true for your allies named Sting and Rogue."

"Yeah... They told us about that when we defeated Tartaros." Gajeel said.

"Hold on." Nova said as she looked to her father. "My father never went through something like that, but he's a dragon slayer."

"That's true..." Elfaude said as he looked towards Laxus. "Your power, Laxus, comes from a dragon lacrima rather than an actual dragon. It's possible the process is much slower, if it's happening at all."

"Who cares? I would still kick butt." Laxus said.

"What about us?" Gale questioned as he referred his generation. "We don't have those antibodies either. Does that mean we're going to turn into dragons?" Nashi, Nova, Gale, and Drake were a little concerned that might be their outcome and they can't stop it.

"Hey! I want to hear more about our enemies being dragons!"

"Yeah! They're three dragons in Magnolia!" Most of the guild members wanted to know about what they're getting into.

"I saw two blue ones and a red one."

"Actually... That red one came from Nashi." Simon said. Everyone looked to Nashi and put her on the spot. Her family was a little worried on what that meant for her.

"Hold on! Nashi, you can turn into a dragon?! When did that happen?!" Natsu frantically asked.

"No... Nashi didn't turn into the dragon; she summoned it." Sasha explained. None of them quite understood, but it did sound impressive.

"Hmm... This is rather interesting. Nothing like that has ever happened before." Elfaude said. "Rather than Nashi becoming a dragon, she summoned a new one."

"But how is that possible, and what does this dragonfication mean for our friends here?" Storm asked.

"As you all know, Dragon Slayer Magic is the only type of magic that is divided into "generations."" Elfaude claimed. "They all might be similar, but they're all different in some way. Nashi, what generation are you and your friends?"

"Well... I guess we would be a sixth generation, but I personally don't think this fourth generation counts since they're all just artificial soldiers. We don't know if any of them are really alive." Nashi said.

"I see..." Elfaude said. "You would be the latest generation. Each generation has something that sets them apart from others. First generation are those who were taught and raised by the actual dragons. Second generation is when you have a dragon lacrima placed inside you. Third is a combination of the two. Fourth is a set of artificial soldiers. Fifth is known as dragon eaters where they actually devour the dragons. Finally, this sixth generation is when one has a dragon slayer parent. Different origins, but there's something else that sets them apart from each other. Take the fifth generation for example. All they would have to do for the dragonfication process to begin is enter Dragon Force. It's possible that some generations don't even go through the process of becoming dragons." He explained the differences of each generation as well as how the process works. He moved closer to Nashi and her friends for them to hear this. "Nashi, you summoned a brand new dragon. This Amata never existed before now. It's possible that rather than becoming dragons, your generation has the ability to summon new dragons." This was a fascinating theory. The possibility of creating new dragons right before his eyes.

"You mean we could have actual dragons at our command? Cool! Sign me up!" Gale said as the idea of having his own dragon excited him. "Come on, Nashi! Tell us how to do it!"

"I don't know... I don't know how I did it." Nashi said as she felt bad she couldn't help.

"Well, this is a newly discovered technique. There is still much we don't know." Elfaude said. He turned away and was putting his attention back on the others. "Regardless, this must be stopped. I come to you about this because I believe only fellow dragon slayers can defeat them." That would make sense. Knowing that, Elfaude saw Natsu, Wendy, and Gajeel were thinking of something else. "Is something wrong?"

"It's just... There's something they said earlier." Natsu said.

"They offered that if we join them, they would bring back the dragons. That would include the ones that raised us." Wendy said.

"I could see Igneel again. Plus, they would bring back only the kind dragons that would live with humans." Natsu said.

"I understand how you must feel, but we can't let this happen." Elfaude said.

"Do they really have the power to bring back an entire species?" Simon questioned.

"I don't know, but it doesn't matter." Elfaude said. "The simple truth is that the world has evolved without the dragons. There's no place for them in the world anymore."

"What do you mean?" Wendy asked.

"How should I put this?" Elfuade said as he thought it over. "Imagine all the water in the world dried up. If that happened, all the fish and plants in the world would die."

"A world without fish?! That's my nightmare!" Happy shouted.

"Quiet." Lucy said as she kept Happy quiet.

"If all the fish and plants die, the animals that rely on them for food and produce would soon die of starvation and dehydration." Elfaude said. "That would include us humans. Eventually, the world could end up as one giant wasteland where there is no life. Everything natural in the world works because everything is in balance. They threaten to disrupt that balance and the world could suffer." None of them thought of it like that. They didn't want that. "Besides, your dragons might have found peace. Do you want to ruin that for them? Do you think they would want to be resurrected if they knew many would suffer because of it?"

"No. Igneel wouldn't want that." Natsu said as he knew that for a fact. Wendy and Gajeel knew their dragons wouldn't want that either.

"So you can see why this enemy must be stopped." Elfaude said.

"You're right. They'll take on anyone who dares gets in their way." Laxus said. "If they want a fight, we'll give them one!" Everyone in the guild was in full support of this.

"Those eyes let you see everything. Just tell us where they are and we can take them." Storm said.

"I wish I could, but they're somehow blocking my sight." Elfaude said. "I'm not able to locate their hideout."

"And they masked their scent when they escaped. We've got no way to track them." Nashi said.

"This enemy is smart. Knowing they would be dealing with fellow dragon slayers, they know how to cover their tracks." Simon said.

"No problem. Mom, this looks like where you step in." Gale said.

"You bet." Levy said as she stepped forward. "If Elfaude and I work together, we should be able to find their hideout."

"Still, we don't know much about them. Elfaude, what can you tell us about Sapphron and his friends themselves?" Sasha said.

"I do know there are eight of them." Elfaude said.

"Eight?!" Lucy said and looked upset.

"Something wrong, Mom?" Nashi asked.

"I just can't believe so many people were turned into dragons. It's sad." Lucy said.

"You already met two of them. The dragon of ice and the dragon of sapphire." Elfaude said. "There's also ones of light, dark, steel, thunder, and magma."

"Steel..." Gale said.

"Thunder..." Nova said. They had a feeling those are the ones they'll be fighting.

"Hold on. You said there were eight, but that's only seven." Drake said.

"There is one more, but I'm not sure what power that one possesses." Elfaude said. At least they know more than they did before.

"Thanks for telling us all of this." Laxus said. "These guys made it clear that they won't let anyone get in their way, but that's exactly what we're going to do! If these guys are looking for a fight, we'll give them one! It's not like us to just stand around and do nothing when we know we can do something! This enemy might be around for all these years? Let's show them the strength of a guild that's been around for just a hundred!" They all plan to show this enemy that Fairy Tail can be just as tough as any century long dragon.

"Master, we should alert Sabertooth and Lion's Crown about this since they have dragon slayers too." Simon said. "This enemy could attack them as well."

"Good point." Laxus said.

"I was getting bored with all this peacefulness. Finally, some action. Ready for this, Nashi?" Storm said.

"Yeah." Nashi said. This was certainly a surprise to all of them. Nashi thought she knew all she did about Dragon Slayer Magic until she learned about all of this. She thought about Sapphron and how meeting him has opened a new door for her. He might have overpowered her, but she's faced guys like that before and was able to defeat them. She'll have to learn how to fully master her magic, but she'll use it to defeat this enemy. 'The next time we meet Sapphron, I'm taking you down!'
