Kuroi and Lumiere snuck inside Rose Garden in an attempt to kidnap Nashi. When she pulled herself together, she unleashed a form the others thought they wouldn't see her as again. She has actually taken the same form she took when she fought Ankhselam.
"Nashi..." Storm said as he and the others were amazed with what she just did. "I didn't know you could still do that!"
"It's not as powerful as when I fought Ankhselam, but it should be strong enough to fight these guys." Nashi said. She stepped forward with Kuroi and Lumiere noticing it.
"What is that?" Lumiere said.
"I'm not sure." Kuroi said. 'Is that Dragon Force? No... Is something else.' He thought as he wondered what it was. While he was trying to figure it out, Nashi attacked. She flew through the air and went straight at Lumiere. She smashed her fist against him and he ended up skipping against the ground like a rock over water until he hit a building. 'She's fast and powerful! What is that form?!'
"Why that little..." Lumiere groaned as he pulled himself out. He fired multiple rays of light at her, but Nashi flew around and avoided each of the attacks. "Light Dragon Red Burn!" He tried something stronger as he fired a red beam at her. Nashi allowed it to come and it had no effect on her. Lumiere didn't expect that.
"A little heat isn't going to stop me." Nashi said.
"Dark Dragon Soulless Slash!" Kuroi slashed darkness at her, but Nashi flew around and avoided the attack. She flew right at Kuroi and grabbed a hold of him and lifted him off the ground. Kuroi was getting a good feel of her power. 'I can feel the power of a dragon, but there's something more. What kind of human is she?!' Nashi gave Kuroi a good toss and had him crash near Lumiere.
"Are you okay?" Lumiere asked.
"I think so." Kuroi said, but they won't be much longer. The guards had them surrounded with everyone willing to fight. "Let's pull back for now. This is more of a hassle than we thought. Besides, that girl is no ordinary dragon slayer."
"I guess you're right." Lumiere said. He held out his arm and caused a bright light to cover both of them. Everyone was forced to look away. The light caused their eyes to burn and they couldn't see what was happening. When the light faded away and everyone could see again, they all saw Kuroi and Lumiere were gone. They managed to escape and they're still at large.

Nashi's Friends
After the fight, Nashi and the others met up with Sarah, Cheng, and Calleen. They were helping those who were injured in the fight while the guards looked around for the intruders.
"No sign of them." A guard said as he reported in.
"Continue searching! I want them found! There must be around here somewhere!" Sarah said as she wants them found. The guard left and had them figure this out.
"You doing okay, Nashi?" Drake asked.
"Yeah. They just used a potion to make me sleep." Nashi said. "That was weird. What did they want with me? How did they even get in?"
"Perhaps they have the ability to teleport." Athena said.
"If they could teleport, they would have done it the moment they grabbed Nashi and we never would have known a thing." Sasha said. "How could they have gotten in without anyone seeing anything? How did they even know we were here?"
"They must have had inside help." Simon said. "I think one of the guards is the most likely suspect. They know the layout of this city and would know how to sneak someone inside."
"So they managed to get a few human allies." Storm said as they weren't expecting that.
"Question everyone! I want to find out who betrayed my city!" Sarah said with frustration.
"I will take care of it." Cheng said. "No one can hide the truth from me."
"I can help out." Drake said. "My ears will allow me to hear the truth. No one can hide anything from me."
"That's not necessary, sir." Cheng said. "Please, this is our city. I'm the advisor. Please allow me to handle this situation. Perhaps those ears can be used to help find them if they're still hiding out." Drake thought that was a little weird, but he just went along with it.

The Next Day
Cheng helped with the investigation as to who betrayed Rose Garden with Nashi, Simon, and Sarah taking part in it. They started questioning the guards to see who might have helped Lumiere and Kuroi. Cheng spoke with a few and got nothing. They all claimed they knew nothing They eventually got to the next guard.
"What is your name, how long have you been here, and do you know anything about the people that kidnapped Nashi?" Cheng asked.
"My name is Alex. I've lived in Rose Garden for about fifteen years. I'm afraid I know nothing about those people." That's what the guard claimed, but Cheng looked at him with suspicion.
"He's lying." Cheng claimed.
"What?! No! I'm not!" Alex claimed, but Sarah instantly took Cheng's word over his.
"Where are they now?! Tell us everything!" Sarah said.
"I swear that I don't know anything!" Alex said.
"It would seem he's going to keep lying, but perhaps we'll find clues in his apartment." Cheng claimed.
...
The Apartment
The four of them headed for Alex's apartment. They looked around for anything that might prove Alex's connection to the enemy dragon slayers. Simon looked around until he noticed something on a desk.
"Look at this." Simon said as he grabbed a piece of paper. "It's a time of arrival for last night. This must have been when those two showed up. There's also a map of the city. It's marked with routes for sneaking in."
"It looks like we have him." Cheng said as he took the evidence.
"We'll have him questioned until he tells us everything." Sarah said as she stormed out of there with Cheng following. No one betrays her city and gets away with it.
"Well, now that we have a lead to these guys, we might be able to get some answers about them." Nashi said, but Simon had his suspicions on another matter.
...
Nashi's Friends
Now that they think they have their guy, Simon and Nashi met up with the others from the guild. They helped investigate where Kuroi and Lumiere went, but found nothing.
"How'd it go?" Nova asked.
"We got our guy." Nashi said. "Sarah and Cheng are going to try and get all they can out of him." That's what Nashi says, but Simon is having doubts about it.
"What's wrong, Simon?" Sasha asked.
"Something about this doesn't seem right." Simon said. "We found that evidence a little too easily. Why would he leave it out in the open where anyone could see it?"
"But Cheng says it's him." Nashi said.
"He is the advisor. Sarah clearly trusts him." Storm said. "You said so yourself that one of the guards would have been the most likely suspect. What else could there be?"
"I don't know. I think we're missing something." Simon said as he tried to think it over.
"Just let me talk to the guy." Drake said. "I don't get why the guy didn't want my help. My ears will be able to hear the truth. Heck, I can do a lot more than he could." Simon certainly agreed with Drake. They need to find the truth of what was really going on.
...
Alex
Alex was locked up in a cage as he is considered a traitor now. Cheng said he was guilty and everyone instantly believed him. He heard the door open up and saw Simon, Nashi, and Drake walking in.
"Okay. We're going to question you again." Simon said. "Our friend will be able to tell the truth, even if you're lying." It was all on Drake now.
"Just tell us. Do you have anything to do with the intruders?" Drake asked.
"No! I don't know who they are, how they got in, or what they wanted! I'm innocent." Alex said. Drake used his ears and could hear his words and thoughts. Somewhere inside was the truth and Drake was able to find it.
"He's telling the truth." Drake said with Nashi surprised. "He really has nothing to do with them."
"What? Why would Cheng say its him when it isn't?" Nashi questioned.
"Because Cheng is the one person in all of Rose Garden who could keep a secret." Simon said as he could see the truth himself. "It's the reason he didn't want Drake's help. He's the traitor."
...
Cheng's House
When Nashi and her friends figured that Cheng is the real traitor, they decided to investigate him. Cheng is aware of Drake's abilities. That would mean that they can't confront him without giving him the chance to escape. Sarah would also take his word over theirs. That's why Michael and the rest of Sabertooth were sneaking to his house.
"So, Cheng could be the real traitor?" Owen said.
"Maybe, but my mother won't just believe us." Shae said. "We need to find actual proof."
"Athena, can you get us in?" Michael said.
"No problem." Athena said. She used her magic and had them all surrounded in a multicolored orb. They were all transported inside his house with no problem.
"Someone watch for Cheng." Rona said. Owen did just that as he stood near the window and watched for Cheng. "Remember, guys... Leave everything as how you found it. We don't want Cheng to know we were here." While Owen was watching, the others had a look around for anything that proves Cheng works for Sapphron. Shae reached a bookshelf and flipped through a book for anything. He placed it back when he didn't find anything, but he did spot something on the floor. He checked it out and saw there were scuffmarks and scrapes on the floor.
"Hey. I think this bookshelf moves." Shae said as he got the others.
"Maybe there's something behind it." Michael said. Shae checked it out as he turned into a shadow and slipped under the shelf. They waited a few seconds for him before he came back out.
"There's a staircase with a door back there. That must be how those dragon slayers got in and out." Shae said. "We might have our guy."
"Cheng's coming!" Owen said. The five of them acted fast and hid themselves. Cheng came in through the door and acted like everything was normal.
"Hello, Cheng." Michael said with him being surprised to see all five of them.
"What are all of you doing in my house?!" Cheng said.
"Something didn't sit right with us. You think that guard is the guilty one." Shae said.
"Yes. He was lying. We also found evidence in his apartment." Cheng said as he moved carefully to the bookshelf. Michael and his friends got ready to pounce like tigers in case he made a run for it.
"But what if that is false evidence? What if someone just planted that stuff there to make an innocent man look like he was guilty." Athena said.
"Your ability allows you tell when a person lies, but Drake takes it a step further. He can actually hear the truth out of someone." Rona said. "Knowing that, why didn't you let him help? We can get the truth a lot sooner with his help."
"At the same time, you can tell when someone is lying, but no one can tell when you're lying." Michael said.
"Are you insinuating that I have something to do with this?" Cheng said as he had his back turn to them with all of them keeping a close eye on him. "You children have no idea what you're up against." He pulled out a book and it triggered a metal wall to come between him and them.
"Hey!" Michael called as he pounded against the wall.
"Out of the way, Michael!" Owen said as he had black lightning form around his fist. He smashed his fist against the wall a couple times and broke through the wall. He and Michael pulled it open for them to slip through.
"Hurry!" Michael said. The five of them hurried after Cheng. They saw the bookshelf opened and hurried down the stairs. They thought they had him when they opened the door, but there was a device in their way. With only seconds on a timer, the device exploded right in front of all of them. A trusted advisor has now turned traitor.
