Nashi was dealing with her own problems while her friends were fighting for their lives. After talking to Nova, she decided to go for one other person for advice and headed for her house.
"Hello? Mom?" Nashi called as she entered her old home.
"Over here, Nashi." Lucy said as she was working in the kitchen. "This is a surprise. What brings you here?"
"I was hoping to talk. I need some motherly advice." Nashi said. Hearing her daughter needs her mother was all Lucy needed to hear to give Nashi her full attention. "Can you promise not to tell Dad about this?"
"That depends on what it is." Lucy said as they both had a seat on a couch.
"He would freak about this. It's about a guy." Nashi said. Now Lucy was fully interested and would understand why she would want to keep it a secret. Lucy was all ears now. "Okay... The truth is...I've been with this guy for a while. He wants us to be more than friends, but I'm not sure if that's really what I want."
"What do you mean? Why wouldn't you?" Lucy said.
"Well, I don't have much experience with guys." Nashi said. "You know how Dad is if I even mention dating around him. I'm just not sure what to do. It's not that I don't want to, but I'm a little anxious about the idea. I figured your experience might be able to help me. You and Dad started out as friends. One day, it all changed and now look at the two of you."
"I see..." Lucy said as she could see how her daughter must be. "Well, I was the same way with your father. We did start out as friends. Ever since I joined the guild, he was right by my side. Over time, my feelings for him changed around and grew without me even knowing it. So, I decided to follow my heart and it paid off."
"You heart?" Nashi said.
"Yeah. That's what Fairy Tail wizards do. We listen to what's in our hearts." Lucy said. "With some members, it could lead to the guild getting into trouble, like how your father wrecks everything, but we do what we believe is right, not what we're told is right. Love is the same way. You got to follow what your heart is telling you. Nashi, if what you and this guy have could be the real thing, you need to see for yourself. This guy just might be the guy for you."
"But you were lucky, Mom. Look how long you and Dad have been together." Nashi said. "Not everyone is that lucky."
"Maybe, but it doesn't mean it won't happen with you." Lucy said. Nashi really thought about it, but it's just as she said. Not everyone is as lucky as her parents are to find someone. Heck, they're probably the only person the other has been with. Maybe Nashi was hoping to find something like that, but she's not sure if she can.
"How do I know if it's the real thing?" Nashi questioned. "How do I know it's my heart talking and not some other part of my body that I'm just getting confused with?"
"Uh... What part of your body are we talking about?" Lucy questioned.
"Mom, just trust me." Nashi said as she didn't want to talk about that with her mother.
"Well, you just answered your own question." Lucy said. "I'm afraid only you can answer that Nashi. You need to figure out a way for you to see it's the real thing. If it is the real thing, you'll be able to feel it." Maybe that's been Nashi's real problem. Maybe she's just been overthinking everything. If that's the case, she needs to start listening to her heart.

Coro
Meanwhile, Coro and the rest of Lion's Crown was dealing with some trouble. Something caused their entire town to shake like there was an earthquake. Coro searched around for what might have caused it. As he searched around, he saw the damage that was done. The ground was torn open, buildings collapsed, and many people were afraid.
"This doesn't look good. What could have caused this?" Coro questioned. Coro didn't like the looks of this at all and was wondering what could have done this. He was about to get his answer. He heard some sort of explosion go off. "That's near the plaza!" Needing to know what's going on, he hurried off and went to see what happened.
...
The Plaza
The simple truth was that Korog was the one that caused the earthquake in attempt to lure Lion's Crown out. His plan worked as two of them appeared and tried to deal with him. However, Korog proved to be too powerful for them. One was thrown against a wall with the other beaten to the ground. Coro showed up and kept himself hidden as he could see what happened.
'What's going on here?' Coro wondered.
"Oh man." The wizard from Lion's Crown complained with him being in pain. "I can't believe how powerful you are."
"Are you really that surprised? You saw what I just did to this whole town." Korog said.
'What?!' Coro thought as he was surprised to hear that. 'That one guy caused all this damage! That's unreal!' Korog walked closer to the injured wizard. He grabbed the wizard by the neck and lifted him off the ground.
"Tell me where I can find the dragon slayers of your guild." Korog said.
"The what? Our dragon slayers?" Coro got good spook when he heard that as well.
'He's after me and Stella? Wait a minute. Is this guy one of those dragon slayers that Fairy Tail warned us about?' Coro thought.
"Tell me now." Korog insisted.
"No way. We wouldn't sell one of our comrades out."
"Answer me or else." Korog insisted some more. The heat around his arm began to increase and made it harder for his captive to breathe, but he still refuses to tell him anything. "Still choosing to be silent? Very well." Korog could see he wasn't going to get answers like that. With his captive being no use, lava spewed out from his arm and all that could be heard was the member of Lion's Crown screaming as the lava splashed against him. Coro was horrified at what he saw. All that was left of his comrade was a pile of lava hitting the ground. Korog looked completely cold and emotionless when he killed that man. Coro was starting to get spooked by this guy's power. It was unbelievable with all that he just witnessed.
'That guy just killed one of us like it was nothing! This is insane!" Coro thought as he was actually afraid. 'I might handle the heat, but I'm not sure how I do against lava. I don't want to find out. I've got to get out of here.' Coro tried turning away and getting out of there, but he accidentally hit his head against a pipe. "Ow!" When he realized what he did, he quickly covered his mouth. 'Did he hear me?' Korog actually did. He turned to where the sound came from and was going to check it out, but someone stepped in the way.
"Looks like you're a real powerhouse. Good for me. I love a good challenge." Coro took a look and was surprised to see Ranko arrived to challenge him.
'Ranko?!' Coro was surprised to see Ranko out here and actually challenged the enemy. Ranko held out his sword and was ready for a fight. He was the first to attack as he swung his sword at Korog, but Korog caught it with his hand. He swung his leg around and sent Ranko flying down the street.
"Damn." Ranko groaned from the pain. He really felt that one. He was able to get back up, but he saw the blade of his sword melted. He looked in Korog's hand and saw he dropped the molten blade from his sword. "Unreal. He melted my sword with just his hand!" Korog moved closer to Ranko, but Ranko wasn't afraid. He jumped in the air and pulled out a different sword. "Blue Flame Sword!" Ranko came down and swung his sword at him. The two of them kept fighting while Coro just hid and debated on what he should do.
'What do I do? With this guy's power, Ranko could get himself killed.' Coro thought as he was beating himself up. 'Am I really afraid to fight this guy?' Ranko continued to do his best against Korog, but Korog avoided all of his attacks. Ranko gave it another try, but Korog jumped to the side and swung his leg against Ranko's face. Korog grabbed a hold of him by the head and smashed him against the ground.
'Damn. This guy is a monster.' Ranko thought as he could barely move after that impact. Korog has had enough. He grabbed Ranko by the neck and lifted him off the ground.
"Tell me where I can find the dragon slayers that are associated with the guild in this town." Korog said.
"What? You want Coro and Stella?" Ranko questioned.
"You know them. Tell me." Korog said as he tightened his grip on Ranko's neck. Coro didn't know what to do. He had to help his friend, but he's actually afraid of what this guy can do. He's never encountered an enemy like this one before. He's on a different level than anything he fought before and wasn't sure what to do.
"You may not know this, but Lion's Crown is a powerful guild, and we have Fairy Tail to thank." Ranko said.
'Fairy Tail?!' Coro thought as he began thinking of what they would do.
"Long ago, we thought Fairy Tail was pathetic. We were arrogant, mad for power, and I was surely no exception." Ranko claimed. "I thought I was the best swordsman in all of Fiore, but I lost to Simon from Fairy Tail. He claimed that I had a long way to go to be the best. After we lost to them a couple years ago, Lion's Crown began to change. It took some time, but even I began to come around. I began to see what Fairy Tail was really all about and we wanted to be more like them."
"Quit your babbling." Korog said as he couldn't care less. He wanted answers, but Ranko just chuckled.
"We're following Fairy Tail's example. None of us are going to sell out our comrades to the likes of you." Ranko said. Coro remembered that he was the same. All he cared for was strength, but he began to change around when he lost to Nashi. Nashi literally knocked some sense into him and he could see why Fairy Tail was so strong. It was then that they decided they would be Fairy Tail's rival and Fairy Tail doesn't back down. If Coro is a lion, he needs to have the courage of one.
"Enough. I don't care how your guild works. If you won't answer me, I'll just kill you." Korog warned him. Korog was going to do just that, but that was when a fireball crashed against him and forced him to drop Ranko. They all looked up and spotted Coro chose to stand in fight.
"Come on! Fight me! I'm the one you want!" Coro shouted as he standing against the enemy just like a certain someone he knew from Fairy Tail. Korog could sense the dragon slayer power from him. He has his guy.
"Coro, what are you doing?!" Ranko said.
"Long ago, I was raised by the dragon Apollin." Coro said. "When he left, I wanted to forget all that he taught me, but Nashi reminded me how important his lessons were. Fairy Tail was the one that changed Lion's Crown for the better! Nashi would stand against any enemy and I should do the same. We can't call ourselves Fairy Tail's rival if we're afraid to fight! So I'm not going to run or hide..." He claimed. Knowing he has this guy, Korog charged at him. "...because Nashi, or anyone in Fairy Tail, won't do the same!" Not caring for that, Korog went right at him, but Coro jumped away and flipped back and moved away from him.
"You're mine!" Korog jumped at him and reached out for him, but Coro stayed out of his reach.
"Damn you!" Coro shouted as he pulled his fist back. He smashed it against Korog, but Korog grabbed his arm and tossed Coro out into the open street. When he crashed down, Korog jumped out and was about to crash into him, but Coro moved out of the way of his attack. The two of them fought hands on a little until they smashed their heads against each other. Taking a firm stand against this enemy, this lion has found the courage to stand against a terrifying enemy.
