Nashi waited around, but she just couldn't wait around anymore. She decided to go looking for Storm. As she headed into town, she looked to the skies and saw dark clouds covering the sky and was blocking out the sun. A fitting scene with what is about to come.
"Where are you, Storm?" Nashi questioned as she looked around for him. She came to a stop when she picked up on something else. She felt intense magic and she knew who it belonged to.

Elfaude
Elfuade and Levy finally found the location of where Sapphron and the other dragon slayers might be hiding out in. When they did, Elfaude stayed back because he knew Sapphron himself was there. Elfaude used his powers to lift himself off the ground and levitated in the air. He flew over Sapphron and positioned himself so that he was standing on the opposing side of Sapphron.
"You're timing is impeccable. We just now learned the location of where you've been hiding out." Elfaude said.
"Have you? You've been struggling with that for years." Sapphron said.
"Yes. Fairy Tail has some members that are more brain than just brawn." Elfaude said. "You won't be able to hide anymore. I take it that it was Sharell is the one who constantly blocks my sight."
"You would be correct. We knew that sight of yours would be a problem. You've been trying to years to interfere with our plans, but it won't work." Sapphron said. Elfaude knew this was a good opportunity to stop Sapphron here. He had to try something. Before he did much, he did look to the side and was able to see Nashi making her way over the buildings. As Nashi got closer and closer, she spotted Sapphron and knew she was right.
"Sapphron!" Nashi said. She was ready to take him on right now, but she was suddenly trapped in a barrier that Elfuade created. When she looked to see who cast it, she just now noticed Elfaude. "Elfaude? What are you doing? Let me out of here."
"I'm sorry, Nashi. I'm afraid I can't do that." Elfaude said. "This is a personal matter. Sapphron is here for me."
"For you?" Nashi questioned.
"Am I wrong, Sapphron?" Elfaude questioned.
"You would be correct." Sapphron claimed. "I'm sorry, Nashi. You'll have to settle things with me at another time. I'm here for Elfaude at the moment. I wish to tie up any loose ends before my plans come to fruition." Nashi could see that was some tension between the two of you. Something much more than just bitter enemies.
"Uh... Am I missing something between the two of you?" Nashi asked.
"I'm rather surprised that Fairy Tail would help you out." Sapphron said.
"I had to go to them because I knew fellow dragon slayers would defeat your kind." Elfaude said.
"Perhaps, but what good would it do you." Sapphron said. "Tell me something, Nashi. Do you really trust this man?"
"What are you talking about?" Nashi questioned.
"How do you think he knows so much about us when we only socialize with humans for our own purposes?" Sapphron said. "Do you think it's just because of his magic?" Nashi had a bad feeling about this as she looked to Elfaude.
"I suppose there's no point in hiding it now." Elfaude said. "Still, someone had to inform them of what was going on. Someone had to warn the world of what was coming. After all, you were the one that showed me what dragons are really capable of...Master Sapphron."
"Master?!" Nashi said as she was completely shocked that Elfaude said that. "Elfaude... Did you work with him?!"
"That was before I learned something of great importance." Elfaude said. Nashi didn't understand. In order for her to, Elfaude shared his story. "My family and predecessors have kept their eyes on these dragon slayers for many years believing they would be a threat to the world like Acnologia. I didn't really care for that sort of thing when I was younger. I wanted to see the world. I had an adventurous spirit, but I couldn't have that where I came from. One day, while I was learning this magic, my family was attacked and I was the sole survivor."
"Yes... I found you and took you in." Sapphron said.
"That was before I learned the truth!" Elfaude said. "You didn't save me! You caused that to happen! I soon learned that you were the one responsible for what happened to me that day! I'll never forget..."

Flashback
"Down this way, Elfaude." A young Elfaude followed his grandfather. The two of them stood at what appeared to be an entrance to a cellar, but it was in the middle of the field. "This is where your training to learn the All Seeing begins. You must go down there and feel the flow of nature."
"Grandpa, I don't want to." Elfaude said. "I want to stay above ground. I want to see what is out there with my own eyes."
"Elfaude, this must be done. You must learn this magic for the future." His grandfather was insistent on this. "By feeling nature, you will be able to see everything. The All Seeing will be a most useful form of magic for when the time comes." Elfaude didn't want to go underground, but it seems like he didn't have a choice. He made his way down the stairs and was entering an entire ecosystem that was underground.
"As a child, I wanted to see what was out in the world. The All Seeing might allow me to do that, but it's different when you see it with your actual eyes. I spent days down there and I was not really allowed to come out until I could actually feel the natural flow of nature." Elfaude hated being down there, but he didn't have a choice. As he meditated down there to try and feel nature, he had to stop what he was doing when the place began to shake.
"What was that?!" Elfaude questioned. He was curious as to what was happening up there. He stopped his meditating and hurried up the stairs. When he made it to the door, he burst the doors opened and was shocked at what he saw. Fire was everywhere and much was destroyed. He looked around and saw that everyone was dead as well.
"A child?" Elfaude turned around and that was when he met Sapphron for the first time. "It seems you are the survivor." That was when it all really began for Elfaude.
"I thought Sapphron saved me that day, but what I didn't know at the time was that he was what caused all that to happen."
End of Flashback
...
"As soon as I learned that you were the one who took everything from me, I sought out to stop you." Elfaude claimed. "Especially when I learned of your plans. After I left you, I continued working until I learned the All Seeing so that I could constantly keep an eye on you and the others, be ready to act when the time comes. That time has come."
"Honestly, Elfaude... All this trouble for what you only think will happen?" Sapphron said.
"Your plans threatens the natural balance of the world." Elfaude said. "There is no place in the world for dragons anymore."
"Elfaude has a point. What would the dragons eat?" Nashi said as she tried pointing out problems. "If they devour plants and animals that are needed, it could cause some damage to the natural order. If some certain plants and animals disappear, it could have some serious effects on others. According to Elfaude, the world will slowly die."
"That's what you're most worried about?" Sapphron questioned, but Nashi didn't understand the question. That was when Sapphron realized something as he looked back at Elfaude. "You haven't told them everything, have you?"
"Told us what?" Nashi questioned.
"Nashi, don't you think it's rather strange?" Sapphron asked. "A result like that would take about years to achieve. Humans could surely fix that problem. The reason I wish to bring back the dragons is because I felt the way they died was unjust. They were noble creatures that don't deserve to be extinct. The ones we plan to bring back are the ones that live along side humans. How could the world die like that?" Nashi didn't really have an answer to that. "Elfaude failed to tell you something."
"Elfaude, what is he talking about?" Nashi asked. Elfaude looked down as he felt ashamed for leaving out an important piece of information.
"If the spell to bring back the dragons is cast, it could lead to the demise of all human life in Fiore." Elfaude admitted.
"What?!" Nashi said as she couldn't believe it.
"Their souls will be sacrificed to bring back the dragons." Elfaude said.
"Elfaude... How could you keep that from us?! Why didn't you tell us?!" Nashi questioned as she was angry that he kept that hidden from them.
"I had to gain Fairy Tail's trust. It shouldn't even matter because this kind of magic should never be used!" Elfaude claimed.
"That is just mere superstition, a theory you have." Sapphron said. "You don't know if that's what will really happen."
"It's a risk not worth taking!" Elfaude said. "That's how this kind of magic works! You can't restore life without it being taken! An example of there being balance in the world!" Elfaude is trying to reason with Sapphron, but Sapphron doesn't seem the least bit interested in the warnings. Nashi might know why that is.
'I don't think Sapphron is too worried about that because he and his buddies aren't humans anymore.' Nashi thought. 'They're dragons and would be unaffected by the spell.'
"Sapphron, you must stop this! It's not worth sacrificing hundreds upon thousands of lives!" Elfaude claimed.
"As I said before, I believe the dragons dyeing was unjust." Sapphron said. "They don't deserve to be nearly extinct. Some of them wished to live along side us humans. Those are the ones that shouldn't have died during the Dragon King Festival. I've lived for all these centuries. I've tried hiding from Acnologia because I wanted the legacy of the dragons to live and continue on. When Acnologia finally died, I knew our time was near. The dragons shall soar through the sky once more. I won't allow anyone to stand in the way of that." Sapphron was unwavering on this matter. He's going through with this no matter what.
"Sapphron..." Elfaude said under his breath as he couldn't believe he would actually make such a large sacrifice.
"You've completely lost it!" Nashi claimed. "You're really willing to sacrifice so many people and not even care?!"
"I can't allow you to do this!" Elfaude declared for he made it his life's mission to stop him.
"As I keep saying..." Sapphron said. Before anyone even knew what happened, an attack blasted right through Elfaude and left a large hole through him. The attack came so fast that no one even saw a thing. Sapphron really is willing to go the extra miles. "...No one shall stand in my way."
