With two new dragons entering existence, the fights between Fairy Tail and the dragon slayers have escalated. Keenan and Linus were defeated. Even when they entered their dragon forms, Nova and Gale were able to call upon their own dragons and was able to defeat them.

"Sounds like there's quite the party out there." Cerex said. They felt the tremors from the two fights out there. They knew something grand happened out there.

"I knew this Fairy Tail would be a problem." Sharell said.

"Don't worry about it. In the end, we win." Cerex claimed. "Hey, did a rock fall on our little prisoner?" He turned around to check on Drake, but he was shocked. "What the hell?!" Cerex and Sharell looked and saw Drake was gone with only torn rope remaining. "That bastard! He snuck away when we weren't looking!"

"You better find him or else Sapphron isn't going to be pleased." Sharell said. Cerex felt like he was just made a fool and he won't let anyone do that to him.

...

Nova and Sasha

Thanks to Nova summoning Raijina, Keenan was gone. However, they tended to Raio before they went inside the cave. They got him resting against a rock, but it didn't look like he was going to be moving any time soon.

"Are you okay?" Sasha asked since Raio was able to regain consciousness.

"I think so, but I'm out of power. You'll just have to go without me." Raio said.

"We can't just leave you here." Nova said.

"Uh... I don't think it's really going to be a problem." Sasha said as she pointed away from the mountain. They saw a couple members from the guild heading their way. "Looks like Raio is going to get some help. Nova, we need to head inside the cave. We've got to leave Raio here and let the others take care of him." Nova was still hesitant on leaving him there.

"Go. I'll be okay." Raio said. Nova decided to just go along with it. She gave her fiancé a kiss before she and Sasha went inside the mountain.

Simon and Gale

Simon and Gale finished their fight against Linus thanks to Gale's own dragon: Metmara. Gale daringly jumped inside Linus and tore up his insides. To put him out of his misery, Simon dealt the final blow. Now that this fight was over, Simon and Gale were feeling some sympathy for Linus.

"Hopefully he found some peace now." Simon said.

"It's actually pretty sad." Gale said. "They've lived for so long, but it was all of misery because they couldn't let go of their past and accept what has happened to them. Even when they were surrounded by others who went through what they through, they still couldn't find any sort of peace."

"They found solidarity in their misfortune." Simon said.

"They still felt like they lived in a world that would never truly accept them." Erza claimed. "That's why they decided to do this, isn't it?"

"Both could be a reason." Simon said. He quickly looked around and noticed someone was missing. "Gale, what happened to your newly discovered dragon?"

"I guess he just went to back to wherever it was he came from because the fight was over." Gale said since Metmara wasn't around anymore. "Either way, we better get going. The others could be waiting for us inside and could use our help."

"You're right. We've got to get going. Mother, what are you going to do?" Simon asked.

"I'll head back to Crocus and inform everyone else on what's going on." Erza said. "I thought you and the rest of your friends might need a little help, but it seems like I was wrong. All of you just better be careful and come back alive."

"We will." Simon claimed as he and Gale believed they all were. Now that their obstacle is out of the way, they headed for the cave. With Linus and Keenan defeated, there are now only three dragon slayers to worry about now. However, with them being the last ones, they might end up being the most challenging of them all.

...

Nashi and Storm

Since no one got in their way, Nashi and Storm were able to get inside the cave. However, they still haven't found anything. It was like there was no end in sight for them.

"This place seems like it goes on forever." Nashi said. "It's like a labyrinth. Where could Sapphron and Drake be hiding?"

"I'm not sure, but we'll find them." Storm said as they kept looking around. Since it was just the two of them, Nashi wasn't quite sure what to do given what happened recently. Nashi and Storm have been friends for so long, but they never been through something like this between them. He's one of her best friends and she certainly doesn't want to lose something like that. That's why the silence was killing her.

"That's it! I can't take it!" Nashi said.

"What? What's wrong?" Storm asked.

"You know what I'm talking about. Are we ever going to talk about the elephant in the room?" Nashi said.

"Really. Now?" Storm said as he didn't feel like this was appropriate for this sort of thing.

"Storm, I'm sorry you found out about me and Drake like that." Nashi said. "We were planning to tell everyone, but you beat us to the punch. After that, you actually tried to punch Drake."

"I was mad!" Storm said, but he realized he was getting worked up again and knew that was a bad thing right now. "No... Calm down, Storm." He took a deep breath and tried to keep calm. "I was upset about the whole thing, but I was also upset that you kept it a secret from me. We could tell each other everything."

"What was I suppose to say? "Hi, Storm. Nice day. By the way, I lost my virginity to Drake and we've decided to be intimate before we started officially dating." Is that how you would have preferred it?" Nashi rhetorically asked. "I overheard what Laxus told you."

"You did?" Storm said.

"I had moments of weakness myself. I gave into temptation." Nashi admitted. She hated that this bothers him, but she wants to clear the air. "When it all happened, I felt like I began to see things differently. Growing up isn't an easy thing. You see things differently from when you were a kid to when you're an adult. I mean...look at all that has happened to us. Nova's getting married, I moved out of my parents' house, Gale's finally getting a girlfriend, and I know a few other people who have gotten serious."

"I know. I was there." Storm said.

"Still, when it all happened with Drake, I really started to feel it." Nashi said. "I had like no experience with this sort of thing, I didn't know what to think, and the reason I didn't tell you sooner was because I was trying to avoid all of this trouble. It was like I really became an adult with all our childhood memories feeling so far away. Even the stuff that happened just a couple years ago. When he kissed me, it felt like everything changed and was different now." Nashi claimed. Storm can understand what Nashi was saying. That's why he decided to take a step further in growing up himself. He walked right over to Nashi and cupped her face with him actually kissing her. Nashi wasn't expecting that at all. Storm certainly wasn't going to give up Nashi without some sort of chance. "What was that for?"

"I'm hoping for the same result." Storm said for he hope things would change and be different for him. Once he said that, he just kept going in the cave. Nashi did feel something when he did that, but was it good or bad for Storm? Putting this matter off to the side for now, the two of them walked deeper into the cave until they saw it split in two directions. "Can you pick up on Drake's scent?" Nashi sniffed around to see where Drake might be.

"Weird. It's coming from both directions." Nashi said.

"We'll have to go in both directions." Storm said, but Nashi wasn't sure they should split apart. "Time is of the essence. We can't wait around."

"You're right. Be careful." Nashi said with them going in two different directions. One can only hope they all pull out of this.

...

Storm

Storm went down one path and hoped he finds Drake soon. He soon came into a large cavern and looked around to see where he was going to go next. Just as he was about to take a step further, he saw someone emerge out of the darkness.

"Drake!" Storm said as he was surprised to find him. Drake looked ahead and was surprised to see Storm. Storm ran down and hurried over to him.

"Storm? You were able to find me?" Drake said.

"Yeah. The others are here, too." Storm said. "We all came to rescue you and put a stop to this." Once that was cleared up, it instantly got awkward between them given what happened between them the last time they saw each other. "Uh... Listen, Drake... About what happened before... I..." Storm was trying his best to apologize, but he was too ashamed about what happened. Luckily, he didn't need to say anymore with Drake placing his hand on Storm's shoulder and could tell what he was trying to say.

"So am I, man. We both went too far." Drake claimed. Girls come and go, rivalries are formed, but the bonds those in Fairy Tail have just can't seem to be broken no matter what happens. Knowing things will fine between them now, they can solve this whole matter between them another time.

"How sweet. I hate sweet." They both looked to the other side of the cavern and spotted Cerex.

"Not you again." Drake complained.

"That's the dragon slayer that uses ice, right?" Storm said.

"Cerex." Drake confirmed.

"That was awfully sneaky of you when you gave me and Sharell the split. How did you do it?" Cerex questioned.

"I will admit that you guys had me for a moment, but when I was able to pull myself together, slipping away would have been easy." Drake said. "I just needed the right moment to get out of there."

"Well, you just made a fool out of me and no one does that." Cerex said as he was ready to punish Drake for his insolence.

"Don't forget about me." Storm said as he stepped forward. "You've got to deal with both of us." Cerex didn't seem too worried about that for he was willing to take on both of them. Storm and Drake have put their differences aside before for the good of the guild. This is one of those times.

...

Nashi

As for Nashi, she was following down the path she went. She could have sworn Drake's scent was in this cave. Nothing was going on and she saw no sign of him.

"Nothing." Nashi said. "Maybe Drake passed by here, but it doesn't look like he's here now. He must have went through recently? Should I go back and try to catch up with Storm?" Nashi considered that she should do just that, but she stopped when she picked up on a different scent. She knew this one very well. "It's him!" Discarding her other idea away, Nashi followed the other scent. That scent could only lead to one other person. With Drake and Storm dealing with the coldest dragon, Nashi heads deeper into the cavern to face the bigger threat.
