"I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT," Groot yelled.

It was free play in class so Drax, Groot and Rocket had decided to use the blocks to build the biggest tower ever so things had been going well, until Groot had used his vines to put more blocks on top which had made the male sapling annoyed.

"Hey it's okay, we can just build it again, no problem-" Rocket tried calming him down but a vine pinned him to the wall making Drax gul and surprised along with Mantis and the other kids, Groot was normally calm, hearing Sif say that he was just having a meltdown and had to calm down, asking Rocket if he was okay.

"Yeah, these things happen and if he doesn't let go, I'll have no choice but to-" he said.

"Do what, if he doesn't let go." Mantis asked curiously.

"Use my claws of course, so he'd better cool down Before I do." he replied

Mantis didn't want this to happen, getting an idea as maybe she could use her powers to calm Groot down before Rocket had to use his claws to free himself focusing intently impressing the kids along with Rocket noticing Groot was calming down seeing the male sapling release him breathing deeply, thanking Mantis with a hug stunning Gamora.

"At least Groot's calm again, Rockie too." Mantis replied as the recess bell rang asthey went outside only a familiar older kid voice caught his super-heightened ears running to the mesh like walls that separated their playground from the one the big kids played in, his eyes widening as his theory was true, his big brother, Ranger was here at his school.

He could see his brother being super-rough with dodgeballs guessing he was in foutyj grade relieving Rocket until a dodgeball came flying into their playground hitting him in the stomach almost knockijg thewind out of him, seeing Gwen catch the ball in one of her webs seeing Ranger.

"Wow mom was right, her little runt of a Rocket is here and couldn't deflect a dodgeball." the bigger male kit said makijg Rocket feel small but tears stung his eyes because not just blocking the dodgeball hurt, Ranger's words had also hurt, seeing his big brother leave before Sif came out, she had seen the whole thing

Back inside the classroom, Gamora, Drax, Groot and Peter snuck out of class to go find Rocket as what had happened at recess was not okay seeing Mantis with them understanding hearing sniffles from the Boy's room, opening the door with Groot's help finding their friend slumped on the floor, and had been crying guessing what was wrong, seeing Groot get onto his furry shoulder sensing sadness knowing Ranger had hurt his feelings which Mantis could also sense.

"I know somewhere we can go, where we can talk
without being interrupted." Rocket said leaving as they followed him makijg Groot surprised that his best friend and brother was bringing them to their room as Rocket knew that they'd been guests in their friends's tooms, so why couldn't They.

"Holy crutack, this is your room." Mantis asked Rocket and Groot seeing Rocket nod in reply feeling safer to talk to them making them impressed Lookijg around his room sitting on the floor in a circle like in class making Rocket sigh, as Peter and the others were curious about him, ashe knew about them guessing it would be alright taking huge breaths.

"That mean kid that looks like me is my big brother, Ranger as my mom sent him to here so he could make something of himself from what she told me, plus he calls me that word because when Ranger andmy sis, Riley were born, they were healthy, big and strong, but me, I came out small and weak which meant my mom hadto help me grow." he began feeling Groot nuzzle him knowing this was hard for him.

"Awww Ranger's a meanie, as you're cool and nice." Mantis replied to him.

"T-Thanks as this is hard, I've never told any of you this before." Rocket said as Groot was putting an ice pack on the bruise on his furry belly which the others found sweet and hoped he was alright hearing him sniffle

"Everything's alright, at least you have us." Gamora said

Rocket was then telling them everything including the High Evolutionary which stunned them understanding and feeling bad for him, knowing they'd help him against Ranger seeing him activate his blueprints revealing mech armour, impressing them.

"Yeah, I had the feeling this might happen, so I prepared plus Jackie inspired me, yes besides the wanting to build a ship to go meet her." he replied to them.
