"Alright, we're going on a field-trip tomorrow, which will be awesome." Rocket said excitedly jumping up and down worrying Groot
It was almost bedtime and if his friend wanted to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the fun they'd have tomorrow, Groot would have to make sure his friend got sleepy so he'd have his normal energy seeing him playing video-games on his tablet making Rocket wonder, what was goijg on.
"I am groot, I am groot." Groot told him.
"I'm not sleepy yet, nocturnal remember." Rocket replied.
This made the sapling face-palm as his friend was right needing help, knowing who could help if she was awake that was, leaving their room going to Gamora and Mantis's room making Mantis wonder what was going on hearing the treelike sapling telling her that Rocket was having trouble sleeping, as he was excited about the field-trip tomorrow makijg her understand following him to his and Rocket's room where Rocket was playing with toys making Mantis grin, using her empath powers to sooth him ijto sleep and saw Groot tucking his best friend in.
"I am groot, I am groot." Groot replied to her.
"You're welcome, as the field-trip won't be fun without him." Mantis told him before she went back to her and Gamora's room relieving Groot goijg to his bed, fallijg asleep at once hoping that Rocket would feel better when he woke up in the morning for the carnival like the other kids including their friends, knowing they could not wait to have fun.
That morning, Rocket was up, feeling ready to go, going to get breakfast with Groot on his furry shoulders heading to the cafetaria, seeing Mantis relieved, he had slept thanks to her seeing Drax' Gamora and Starlord agree with her knowing today would be a blast hearing Rocket laughing, as he was pumped up.
"I feel bad for his buddy for the field-trip." Starlord muttered.
"We're in our friend-groups remember." Gamora told him.
"Yeah, we don't mind his energy, it's a good thing." Gwen added.
After that, they were going outside to the front of Avengers Campus where the bus was, but everybody were in their groups just like in class.
"We're going to have so much fun buddy, riding rides, playing games and eating snacks." Rocket whispered to Groot seeing the sapling agreeing as they got on the bus makijg Gwen smile overhearing him.
After coming home from the carnival, Rocket was feeling exhausted after riding ridea and winning prizes at the games along with Groot just as Mantis came to check on them leaving them be, joining Drax, Gamora and Starlord saying both Rocket and Groot were taking an nap.
"They were so hyper, and had fun, even though Rocket found it hard to sleep last night." Drax told her seeing Mantis agree, relieved her friend had a great day hoping Ranger would not ruin Rocket's day.
