The unthinkable has happened. Sapphron's full power appeared to have been too much for Nashi. Knowing she can't defeat Sapphron on her own now, she attempted to bring herself close to death to give her friends a boost in power to help them break out of their trap. However, she might have taken it too far and ended up actually getting killed.

"Nashi..." Simon said. They all saw Nashi fall to the ground and it was unbelievable.

"Willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice just to give your friends a chance to stop me? And you claimed what I was doing was too risky." Sapphron said. Now that she is gone, Sapphron believes there's no one who can stop him, but he knows Fairy Tail wouldn't give up that easily. "The boundaries between us and the afterlife is still going. Would any of you like to attempt what she started? Are you all going to let it be for nothing?" None of them would allow something like that to happen.

"Damn you." Sasha voiced. Gale and Nova were the first ones to attack as they charged.

'Those two are fellow dragon slayers themselves. They might put up an actual fight.' Sapphron thought as he readied himself for both of them. Nova Unleashed a powerful blast of lightning and Gale tried mixing his own power to it.

"Iron Dragon Club!" Gale launched out his club through the lightning and smashed it against Sapphron. He was being pushed back, but seemed unaffected by it. "Here's a one-way ticket for you straight to hell, you bastard!" Gale unleashed all his strength in that attack, but Sapphron decided to fight back as he pushed it aside.

"Let's take this somewhere else." Sapphron said. He took to the air and flew out of the holes and into the open sky. No way were Gale and Nova going to let him escape that easily. They jumped up the holes and chased after him.

"Come on, Simon! We've got to go after them and help them!" Sasha said.

"Wait, Sasha!" Simon said. "I'm upset about what happened to Nashi myself, but defeating Sapphron might not stop that spell." They both looked to the pillar of light and saw it was still going. "We need to get that staff. We need to do something to stop it before it's too late."

"I won't allow you." They both looked and saw that Sharell was still standing. She might have been injured from when Sasha broke through her barrier, but she was still willing to fight. "Sapphron's goals... Our goals are finally in reach! You can't stop it and I won't allow you to stand in the way!"

"I'll be glad to take you on." Sasha said. "Simon, can you handle things from here? It's all on you."

"Of course. Nashi put all her faith in us. I'm not going to let her down." Simon said. Sasha looked back at Nashi's body as she kept her in her thoughts for the fight.

'Nashi, what you did was just crazy.' Sasha thought. 'You tried playing with our emotions to give us an edge over the enemy. You sacrificed yourself in hopes of saving everyone. I suppose you just simply have that much faith in us. I won't let you down.' Seeing the value in her friend's sacrifice, Sasha refuses to let it be for nothing. She pulled out a pair of twin blades and charged right at Sharell. Just before Sasha reached her, Sharell had another barrier form around them.

"Let's try a different spot." Sharell said. The barrier got smaller and it made the two of them vanished until there was nothing left. That left Simon to do something about the spell on his own. He looked towards Nashi's body for he had a feeling something wasn't quite right. Sasha was right earlier for Nashi wouldn't do something like that. There must be something more to what they saw. Is Nashi really gone?

Sapphron

Sapphron flew out of the cavern and was outside now. He didn't just stop there. He looked towards Crocus and was starting to make his way there.

"Hold it!" He turned around and spotted Gale and Nova. "You're not going anywhere! This is the end for you!" Gale attacked as used his demon logs, but Sapphron flew around and avoided his attacks. Nova went at him herself as she turned into lightning and got right over him.

"Lightning Dragon Jaw!" Nova tried smashing her arms against him, but he barely felt the attack when she hit him. He grabbed Nova's arms and tossed her to the ground with her crashing against it.

"You okay?!" Gale asked as he helped her up.

"I'll be fine; a lot more than Sapphron is going to be." Nova said.

"Come and get me." Sapphron said as he flew away and was heading towards Crocus.

"Why's he heading for Crocus?" Nova questioned.

"Who cares?! Let's get that miserable dragon bastard!" Gale said as he started running, but Nova grabbed a hold of him.

"I've got a faster way." Nova said. She turned herself AND Gale into lightning and chased after him. Unless something happens, those two might be the only ones that can stop Sapphron. However, they might not be powerful enough to do that.

Sasha

Sasha was teleported to a different mountain because of Sharell. They emerged outside and had her wondering what was going on.

"Why did you bring me out here?" Sasha questioned. "I thought you wanted to stop me and Simon from destroying Sapphron's precious spell."

"Your friend will never be able to stop it on his own." Sharell claimed. 'Besides, she's probably the most dangerous since she broke through my magic. I have to take care of her when she doesn't help from her friends.'

"You and your other slayer friends have been suffering for hundreds of years. I think it's time someone put you out of your misery." Sasha said as she was going in with the intent to kill. She started this fight again as she tried attacking Sharell, but Sharell warped out of the way and appeared behind her. Sharell drove her foot into Sasha's back and knocked her down.

"I'm a dragon that can actually manipulate space. How do you intend to defeat me with simple weapons like that?" Sharell taunted.

"You think I'm not up for the task? You haven't seen what I can really do." Sasha claimed as she changed weapons. "Magic Bazooka!" She aimed her weapon right at Sharell, but she teleported out of the way when Sasha fired. Sharell reappeared in the air and got own attack ready.

"Spatial Ripper!" She swung her hand and caused linear explosions to go off that followed her arm movements. Sasha acted fast as she jumped out of the way and aimed right at her again. She fired another blast, but Sharell teleported to a different part in the air.

'With her teleporting like that, I won't be able to get a hit in.' Sasha thought as she saw she could have a problem. Sharell planned to finish it right now as she clapped her hands together. A circle was beginning to form right where Sasha was standing. Knowing this was bad for her, she moved fast.

"Warp Dragon Erasing Space!" The circle was about to close around Sasha, but Sasha was able to jump out of there just before she got trapped. Right when it closed, the dome of green light shined and vanished with everything that was inside there.

"Simon was right. It's like a variation of spatial magic, and a pretty dangerous one at that." Sasha claimed.

"You're right." Sharell agreed as she landed down. "My power allows me to alter pockets of space. I'm not sure how you were able to get out of my barrier, but it doesn't look like you'll be able to pull something like that off again."

"Don't be so sure. I'm starting to see how your tricks work." Sasha claimed as she readied herself. 'I'm not going to be able to win this fight if I fight her at a distance. I need to close the gap.' Sasha requipped once more and pulled out her Lightning Rapier. She tried attacking her by releasing some lightning, but Sharell teleported to the side and avoided the electric attack.

"It's all pointless if you fail to..." Sharell tried telling her it was useless, but she was surprised by how fast Sasha closed the distance between them. Sasha was about to land her own strike, but Sharell used her power and warped Sasha back a few feet. Feeling that was a little too close for comfort, Sharell took a moment to breathe.

'I almost closed the distance the between us. I'm starting to pick up on her timing.' Sasha thought. 'If I can just move faster than she can react, I can win this. I might not be a dragon slayer like her, but that doesn't mean I can't defeat her.'

'This one is crafty.' Sharell thought as she could see she underestimated Sasha. 'I'm going to need to stay on my toes with her, but I don't actually need to defeat her. I just need to keep her busy once the spell is finished. Once that happens, the dragons will be among us again. It will be too late for her or her friends to really do anything. They will fail in the end.' With one side trying to stall and the other wanting to end this fast, timing appeared to be everything in this fight. While Sasha was readying herself for her next attack, she looked to the side and saw the pillar was still shining.

'Come on, Simon. What are you doing? Shut it down.' Sasha thought.

"Concerned for your friends? You should be more worried about yourself." Sharell said and Sasha kept her focus on her. "If you're not careful, you won't witness greatness happen."

"You really don't believe this spell will kill every human in the country?" Sasha questioned. "I suppose with you being a dragon, you're empathy and compassion for humans is gone. I suppose it could also be out of your devotion towards Sapphron." Seeing as how her opponent isn't a human anymore, Sasha thought about something. She began to see her enemy as something else. Considering herself as a huntress, Sasha saw Sharell as great prey. "You know, I had to survive on my own for a long time before I joined Fairy Tail. I saw different kinds of animals and learned different kinds of methods to catch them for each one had a different kind of strength."

"What's your point?" Sharell questioned.

"A dragon is probably the strongest of challenges for a huntress like myself." Sasha said. "To beat the right kind of prey, you need the right kind of equipment. My time in Fairy Tail has allowed me to get the right kind of equipment. I've learned a lot because of that guild." Sasha began to requip again, but not just her weapons. Her clothes began to disappear too as magic flowed around her body. "Thanks to a certain knight, this huntress has just the thing to face a dragon." With help from a new weapon, this hunter gets ready to face her ultimate prey.
