The Tale of the Lost Butterfly
Chapter 2: Party with a Pony
Serena returned home to Wilson Manor to find Charlotte doing the vacuum downstairs and Addison was in the kitchen making her famous Ladybird Scout cookies.
"Hey, Serena."Charlotte greeted. "How is your day at school?"
"Great."Serena responded. "Where is dad?"
"Upstairs in his study."Charlotte replied.
"Thanks."Serena thanked.
Serena headed upstairs and went to see her father in his study as Addison called out to her mother.
"Hey, mum!"Addison called out. "Should I add more more chocolate chunks for the toasted coconut crunchies?"
"Yes, Addie."Charlotte replied. "But not too much. Otherwise, the cookies will lose their coconut flavours."
"Okay!"Addison answered.
Serena went upstairs and headed to one of the rooms that were on the right of the hallway.
Valen's study had a table set up with an elaborate chemistry set, papers strewn all over the table and a mantle where different random pieces were displayed almost like trophies in front of various newspapers.
Serena notice her father had his head lowered to the microscope on the table to compared two bullets under the lens.
"Hey, dad."Serena greeted.
"Hey, Serena."Valen answered as he studied the bullets in the microscope. "You've come home a few minutes late."
Serena frowned and sighed at her father's respond.
"I know."Serena responded as she sat in a nearby sofa chair and placed her backpack down. "But I need to ask you about something."
Valen stopped studying the bullets as he went over to pick a violin to play a hauntingly beautiful melody.
"What is it about?"Valen asked.
"It's about my mother."Serena admitted. "My birth mother. Was she perhaps from another dimension?"
Valen's eyes suddenly widen and made his bow screech against the violin's strings at his older daughter's question.
The man cleared his throat and gave a calm expression.
"What gave you that idea?"Valen asked.
Serena frowned. "This did."
The orange haired girl stood up and made her ring lift up a balance scale to make it float up in the room before it landed on Valen's hands.
Valen groaned in defeat before putting the balance scale back to where it was previously before he went to sit down next to Serena.
The man looked uneasy, but knew he couldn't hide it anymore.
"I suppose it's time I tell you this."Valen commented. "You're mother like you guessed was from another dimension. And that dimension was called Mewni."
"Mewni?"Serena said in amazement. "That is so cool!"
"Yes. The place of corn and all the medieval fairytale lifestyle."Valen retorted and took a deep breath. "Anyway, your mother's name was Pamela Butterfly. A Princess of Mewni. And the ring that you're wearing is a magical item and one of the two greatest heirlooms of the Butterfly family, the ruling sovereigns of Mewni. Your mother was royal by marriage and your royal by blood."
A scoff escaped Serena's mouth after hearing her father's declaration.
"Whoa. Hold on a second."Serena instructed. "If my mother was a Princess of Mewni, wouldn't that mean-"
Serena's eyes widen in pure shock when she realised something.
"Oh…my…gosh."Serena responded slowly. "I am a princess."
The orange haired girl suddenly became angry and stood up from her seat.
"Hold on a second!"Serena snapped with a glare. "For years, you couldn't find a spare minute to teII me that my mother is a royal?"
"Look, I thought I was doing the right thing."Valen explained calmly.
"The right thing for who, dad?"Serena questioned.
"For aII of us."Valen admitted. "Your mother and her cousin Moon agreed to keep their distance so you would have a chance of a normal childhood and away from any royal relations. I was going to teII you when you were 18 years oId. But when your mother died…things changed, Serena. I only wanted to protect you."
"I don't feel protected."Serena scowled. "I feel a bit betrayed. You try living for 14 years thinking that you're one person and then one day you find out that you're a princess that is from another dimension like the school's new foreign exchange student."
"What foreign exchange student?"Valen asked.
"At school, we have a foreign exchange student named Star Butterfly."Serena answered. "She's now living in the Diaz Household after her parents sent her to Earth. The two of us and Marco were attacked by a group of monsters who were after her wand half an hour ago."
Valen smacked his face in irritation.
"Great."Valen muttered in a bitter tone. "Moon has a kid and didn't bother sending me a postcard about it."
"Judging by your irritated look, you don't get along with Star's mother, right?"Serena assumed.
"It's complicated."Valen answered with a wave of his hand and stood up to go back to work on his table. "Your Aunt Moon started hating my guts the moment I started dating your mum and was deeply overwhelmed with grief of her death. In other words, we are on speaking terms."
"But now that I know I am a Mewni princess, will you'll let me go out more and train with Star?"Serena asked with a smile.
Valen glanced at Serena.
"What?"Valen asked.
"I mean Star will be training to use wand and fighting monsters, so it's that we should help each other out."Serena remarked. "We are family after all? Please, dad?"
Valen thought about it for a moment and let out a sigh.
"Fine, Serena."Valen responded. "You can train with Star."
"Yes!"Serena cheered.
"However, if you are having trouble with a spell, you're going to need this."Valen declared.
Valen went over to his book shelf and picked up a book to give to Serena.
It was a blue book with a big gold star on the front while the edges were lined with a gold frame. There were a bunch of book marks labelled inside the book's white pages.
"What is this book?"Serena asked.
"The Book of Sorcery."Valen replied. "It contains magic spells that have been mastered and written down by previous owners of the ring. It looks old but it's very useful."
Serena's eyes widen as she stared at the book in her hands.
"Whoa..."Serena said in awe. "Thanks, dad."
"Please be careful, Serena."Valen instructed. "I don't want to lose you the way I lost your mother."
Serena hugged her father with a grateful smile on her face.
"You won't, dad."Serena assured. "I love you."
"I love you too, kiddo."Valen answered.
Valen hugged his daughter back tightly.
"I'll make you proud."Serena remarked.
Serena took the Book of Sorcery and left the room before closing the door.
The smile on Valen's face vanished and got replaced with a troubled look since he wasn't sure what he was doing was the right thing.
"Is this really the right thing, Pam?"Valen thought.
Serena went inside her room and placed her backpack away before placing the Book of Sorcery on her bed.
"Alright."Serena said as she unlocked the Book of Sorcery. "Let's see what kind of-"
Bright blue sparkly mist suddenly burst out and a creature appeared in front of Serena.
The creature was a small Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog with lemon yellow fur and cornflower blue ears. Her eyes looked like blue sapphires and wore a light pink blue flower garland on her head and a white pearl necklace with a blue treble clef note-shaped sapphire jewel attached around her neck. On her back were small blue fairy-like wings.
"Hello."the little creature greeted with a gentle smile. "Are you my new owner?"
"Aw…"Serena cooed sweetly. "You're such a cute little puppy."
Just before Serena could pat the creature by the head, the small dog-like creature angrily grabbed her by the shirt.
"Excuse me?!"the creature said in an angry yet adorable soft voice while going up on her feet. "I am a magic guide! I am not a pet! And my name is Jules!"
"Okay, okay."Serena said with a nervous smile. "Sorry, Miss Jules."
Jules releases Serena before clearing her throat.
"Now that you know who I am, may you give me your name, new owner?"Jules asked.
"Right."Serena said and did a curtsy. "I am Serena Butterfly. I am the daughter of Princess Pamela Butterfly."
"It's nice to meet you, Your Highness."Jules remarked with a bow. "Since you're the owner of the magic ring, I'll be helping you reach your potential. Your mother and your many grandmothers have done their best to transcribe spells they cast with their rings. A word of advice. Try learning the spells that are well-documented and start simple. Not ones that will make you into a psycho witch or a hungry power princess."
"I am not that type of person."Serena assured honestly. "I know from right and wrong."
Jules smiled. "Good."
"Alright."Serena said as she rubbed the back of her neck. "So where do we begin?"
"I don't know."Jules admitted lightly. "That's for you to decide."
Serena frowned. "Seriously?"
"Hey, you decide which spells you want to start from and I'll be assisting you."Jules admitted. "Open the book when you decide."
Jules went back inside the Book of Sorcery before it closed.
"Okay."Serena sighed and went off her bed. "The first thing I need to is go talk to Star without anyone noticing."
Serena picked up her phone to contact Addison, who was in the kitchen.
"Addison, I'm going to sneak out and be out for a bit."Serena exclaimed. "Cover me."
"Rodger that, big sister."Addison answered. "I got your back."
"Thanks."Serena thanked and ended the call.
Serena then took her old skipping rope and used her ring to make it longer so she can use it to tie on her bed and drop it out of her bedroom window.
The orange haired girl then carefully climbed out of her bedroom window before heading off to the Diaz Household in her roller skates.
In the Diaz Household…
Marco wore a chef's hat and oven mitts as he prepared nachos for Star to eat.
Suddenly there was a knock on the front door causing him to go answer it.
"Oh, hey Serena."Marco greeted. "What's up?"
"I need to tell something to Star."Serena exclaimed and notice the chef hat on the boy's head. "What's with the hat?"
"I am making nachos for Star."Marco responded.
Marco let Serena in as he then checked the oven and saw he had time as it was getting ready to come out.
Then Star came downstairs and smiled once she saw the orange haired girl.
"Hey, Rena!"Star greeted happily.
"Hi, Star."Serena said with a wave. "I need to ask you something. Do you know who is Pamela Butterfly?"
"Pamela Butterfly."Star repeated in thought and her eyes widen a bit. "Oh yes! My mum talked about her before. She was her cousin from my many-greats-ago-uncle Jushtin side of the family."
"About that, it turns out that your mum's cousin is actually my mum."Serena admitted with a sheepish smile. "So the two of us are actually cousins."
Star was silent for a moment before let out an excited squeal which startled Serena.
"AHHH! This is amazing!"Star remarked as she hugged Serena tightly. "One of my new besties is actually my own cousin!"
"Not only that."Serena groaned as she struggled in Star's grip. "My dad allowed me to train with you, so that we both can become professional in using our magical heirlooms."
"Yay!"Star cheered as she held Serena's hands. "I am so happy!"
There was a dinging sound and Marco took out the nachos out of the oven to introduce them to Star.
"All right, Star!"Marco called out. "Feast your eyes on this!"
Marco held out a plateful filled with hot, cheesy nachos.
"Marco's Super Awesome Nachos!"
Star clapped excitedly and picks up a nacho.
"Triangle food!"Star remarked in amazement.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door causing Marco to look at Serena.
"Did you bring someone with you?"Marco asked.
"Nope."Serena answered. "I came here by myself."
Marco went to answer the door, but no one's there.
When he looked around, he caught sight of Pony Head floating in front of him.
"Yo, what up, home fries?"Pony Head asked with a smirk.
Marco screamed in terror and falls over, spilling his nachos while Serena looked unfazed though was slightly concerned that it was just the head of a unicorn.
"Oh, my gosh!"Star squealed as stepped over Marco. "Flying Princess Pony Head!"
"You know her?"Serena asked.
"She's my other bestie, Rena!"Star responded.
"Oh, hello, B-Fly!"Pony Head greeted.
Star hugged Pony Head and giggled lightly.
"Girl, we're going out tonight!"Pony Head declared. "Are you ready to make some ba-a-ad choices?"
"Let me just wake up Marco."Star suggested.
Marco laid on the ground, motionless and covered in nachos and cheese.
"Oh, that is not a dead person?"Pony Head asked.
"Not... dead..."Marco groaned.
Star and Serena picked Marco up.
"Pony Head, meet my best friend Marco Diaz."Star introduced.
"Your best friend?"Pony Head asked with a hurtful look.
"Huh? Oh, no-no-no! On Earth!"Star corrected. "You're my best friend on Mewni. Marco, this is the pony I've been telling you about. And this is my cousin Serena, but she likes to be called Rena."
Pony Head snorted at Marco.
"I hate your face. Plus you're ugly."Pony Head insulted and then laughed. "Just kidding! That's a joke!"
Pony Head looked at Serena.
"Hey, other B-Fly!"Pony Head said. "Do you like to party?"
"Yeah."Serena agreed with a shrug. "I guess so."
"Great!"Pony Head remarked and glanced at Star. "Tick-tock, girl. Let's paaartaaay!"
"Yeah, Marco!"Star agreed and took Marco's hand. "Let's paaartaaay!"
"With her?"Marco asked nervously. "Um, okay, well, I was gonna...But I...I was gonna..."
"Come on, Marco."Serena encouraged with a smirk. "This will be fun."
Star gives the Diaz boy a sad puppy-dog pout causing him to sigh.
"Alright."Marco groaned.
Marco picked a nacho off his shirt and eats it.
Star brought Marco, Serena and Pony Head in a hug.
"My three besties are gonna be besties!"Star cheered.
"Sweet!"Pony Head complemented. "Let's go!"
Pony Head reveals a pair of dimensional scissors in her mouth.
"Dimensional scissors?!"Star gasped excitedly. "Aah! Jealous!"
Pony Head cuts open a portal using the dimensional scissors.
"So cool!"Serena chuckled.
"Wait, we're going to another dimen—"Marco started.
"Come on!"Star insisted.
Star pulled Marco and Serena through the portal.
Pony Head goes halfway through the portal to look around suspiciously before following Star, Serena and Marco.
Once Pony Head went inside the portal, it closed.
Then a second portal opened and three men in masks emerge.
The shortest of the three picked glitter off the ground and sampled it.
"Glitter."the third Guard of St. Olga commented. "She was here."
Star, Pony Head and Serena laughed as they fall from the sky and land on a cloud.
Marco falls and lands face-first on the hard floor causing him to groan in pain.
Serena winced at the sight.
"Are you okay, Marco?"Serena asked.
"I am feeling fantastic."Marco muttered.
Serena and Marco see several groups of alien creatures around the club area and robots DJ-ing playing some music.
"Where are we?"Marco asked in confusion.
"The Bounce Lounge."Star explained. "My 6 place to chill. Just stay away from the edge."
"Why?"Serena asked in confusion.
Marco yelped saw the ground under the clouds was a cap-wearing skeleton that was impaled by spikes.
Marco flailed as he nearly fell over the edge, but Star pulled him away.
"That's why."Serena murmured with a nervous smile.
Star pulled Serena away from the edge and toward a photo booth.
"Marco! Rena!"Star giggled excitedly. "Photo booth, photo booth! Come on!"
Star shoved Pony Head, Marco and Serena into the booth before she popped up between them in the booth and they take several photos.
In the first photo, the four smile and captions read "yay", "good times" and "Happy Besties!".
In the second photo, Star sticked out her tongue, and captions read "Cheese!", "Get out of TOWN!" and "poot".
In the third photo, Star and Serena both make silly faces as Marco laughed and a caption reads "I friend ".
In the fourth photo, Star, Pony Head and Serena make duckfaces and captions read "DUCKFACE" and "STYLEZ 4 MILEZ".
In the fifth photo, all four make silly faces and a caption reads "What's up?".
"Whoo! Now just you two!"Star instructed, gesturing to Marco and Pony Head. "A souvenir from the night my besties became besties. Yay."
"What about me, Star?"Serena asked.
"We go dance, Rena!"Star insisted with a smile.
"Great."Serena chuckled.
Star leaves the booth with Serena causing Pony Head to immediately glare at Marco.
"Listen. We are not gonna be besties."Pony Head hissed. "We are not even gonna be second-besties."
The booth takes a photo of Marco and Pony Head smiling, and a caption reads "Super Kawaii".
"Second-besties?"Marco repeated angrily. "That's not even a thing!"
"Ohhhh!"Pony Head gasped with a frown. "You wanna make this a thing?"
The booth takes another photo of Marco and Pony Head smiling, and captions read "LETS ENJOY", "HAY GURL!" and "PARTY LIFE".
"Look here, Earth Turd."Pony Head warned with a frown. "This night is really important to me. You mess that up, and you're gonna get the horn!"
Pony Head pointed her unicorn horn at Marco's neck.
The booth takes another photo of Marco and Pony Head, and captions read "WE ARE COOL!" and "#1".
"Got it?!"Pony Head hissed and then smiled. "Good. Real good. Later!"
Pony Head exits the booth, leaving a frightened and shuddering Marco.
The booth takes a photo of Marco's frightened face, and a caption reads "OH NO SHE DINT!"
Marco leaves the booth and sees Star, Serena and Pony Head on the dance floor.
Serena danced to the funky music even though she was deep down a bit shy of dancing in public.
"Psst! Star!"Marco whispered. "I need to talk to yooouuu!"
Star takes Marco by the hands and spins around with him while laughing.
"Star, Pony Head threatened to—"Marco started.
Pony Head shoved Marco aside and he hangs over the edge of the cloud.
"Fall! Fall!"the skeleton echoed. "Fall!"
Marco whimpered in fear as Star and Serena helped him up.
"Marco, be careful."Star warned.
"Star!"Serena said with a frown. "Pony Head just tried to shove Marco off this cloud!"
"Ohhhh, noooo."Star chuckled. "She just gets a little wild when she dances."
Pony Head danced with an elf-like teenager before she started riding him like a horse.
"Oh, yes! Oh, you like that!"Pony Head cheered. "You know you do! You love it!"
Serena sweat dropped at the sight.
"Well, she also threatened to skewer me in the photo booth!"Marco admitted.
"She did?"Serena said in shock.
"Yeah. She can be possessive."Star admitted and looked at her pony friend. "Pony Head! Let's go to the Amethyst Arcade. Marco will have more fun there."
"No! Way! Girl!"Pony Head remarked. "I'm! Getting! My! Dance! On!"
The three masked men appear through a portal and Pony Head became shocked seeing them.
Pony Head quickly joined the three teenagers and opened a dimensional portal.
"Yes, you are right, Star!"Pony Head agreed quickly. "He will like the arcade better! Let's go!"
Pony Head goes through the portal as Serena raised an eyebrow at her.
"She's warming up to you."Star said in a sing song tone.
Star pushed Marco and Serena through the portal and followed them, plugging her nose as if about to dive into water.
In the Amethyst Arcade...
Marco was wide-eyed and drooling to see so many video games in the Amethyst Arcade.
"Holy pixels!"Marco remarked. "So many video games!"
"Yes, I knew you would like it here."Pony Head commented with a smirk. "This place is full of squares."
Serena notice the players in the dimension were square-like figures.
"Oh, so the people here are squares?"Serena asked.
"Yep. In every dimension there are different folks, Rena."Star remarked and notice a game for two players. "Look. Lance Lance Revolution. That's perfect! You guys, go play!"
"It looks fun."Serena chuckled.
Marco and Pony Head smiled before growling at each other.
A 16-bit fighting game versus screen shows Pony Head and Marco.
"Pony Head VS Earth Turd!"the Game Announcer declared.
"Hey!"Marco complained.
"Round 1!"the Game Announcer stated. "Joust!"
Marco and Pony Head fight on dance pads using small jousting lances.
"You're going down, downer!"Pony Head insulted.
"Oh, yeah?!"Marco questioned. "Well, your mother's a horse!"
"Uh, okay, and your point would be?"Pony Head asked.
"Aw, look at you two getting along."Star cooed.
Star puts her hands on Marco and Pony Head's backs, covering her hands in sweat.
"Ewww."Star said in disgust.
"I think some pop ice would do the trick."Serena suggested.
"Great idea, Rena!"Star agreed and looked at her two other friends. "Oh! Me go get us some nice cold icicles to put on your disgusting sweaty back."
Star and Serena went to the icicle stand as Marco and Pony Head continued playing together.
A square played a Whack-a-Mole!-like video game as the three masked men approach from behind.
"Hey, you!"the first masked man shouted. "Square!"
The shortest masked man holds up a photo.
"Have you seen this head?"the first masked man questioned.
The Square gives a confused grunt.
"Don't lie to me, little man."the first masked man retorted.
Pony Head heard the masked man's voice causing her to gasp in shock and drop her jousting lance causing Marco to win the game.
"You win!"the Game Announcer declared.
"Hah!"Marco laughed and held his jousting lance. "Who's the turd now?"
"Still you!"Pony Head insulted as she flew away.
Marco frowned before one of the squares spoke up.
"Uh, I think I'm next."the little square said shyly. "But with less abusive trash talk, please."
Star and Serena waited in line at the icicle stand as Pony Head flew over to them.
"Hey, Star, Rena, I'm bored."Pony Head commented. "Uh, I know this other club, so let's bounce. Bleh!"
Pony Head takes out her dimensional scissors from her mouth.
"Already?"Serena said in confusion.
"Sounds cool."Star admitted. "I'll go get Marco."
"Oh, no-no-no-no-no. He went on ahead."Pony Head lied. "Um, yes, he wanted to save us a good spot in the mosh pit. Yes, that is the course of events."
"Oh, classic Marco."Star remarked. "Always putting friends first."
"So what is this other club we're going?"Serena asked.
"It's underwater, Rena."Pony Head declared. "You're gonna love it."
"Sweet."Serena sneered.
Star dragged Serena through the portal and Pony Head followed after them.
Marco defeated the Square in Lance Lance Revolution.
"Finish him!"the Game Announcer stated. "You win!"
"Hah! Did you see that, Star and Serena? Try and beat that, Pointy Head!"Marco challenged and notice his companions were gone. "Star? Serena? Pointy Head?"
The three masked men surround Marco.
One puts his hand on Marco's shoulder while the shortest one breathed heavily.
In the Underwater Club called the Scum Bucket...
Star, Pony Head and Serena laughed in excitement as they were crowd-surf.
"Is this not a blast or what, B-Fly and Rena?"Pony Head asked.
"Yeah-heah!"Star cheered happily.
Serena looked around and notice Marco was no where to be seen.
"Pony Head, I don't see Marco anywhere."Serena stated.
"I don't see him either."Star added. "Where is he?"
"Pfft! You got me, girls."Pony Head scoffed. "And I'm way more fun!"
Star and Serena looked at Pony Head with suspicious expressions.
"Uh, what are you talking about?"Star asked.
"Pony Head?"Serena questioned.
"Uh, heh, funny story. You're gonna love it."Pony Head chuckled cheekily. "I kinda ditched him and left him in the other dimension. Oops."
Star and Serena became shocked at Pony Head's respond.
"What?!"Star demanded.
"You ditched him?!"Serena scowled.
Star screamed and falls to the floor causing Pony Head and Serena to go off the crowd.
"B-Fly!"Pony Head gasped.
"How could you do that to our best friend?!"Star demanded.
"Best friend?!"Pony Head questioned. "Last time I checked, the best friend was me!"
"I can have three best friends."Star admitted with a frown. "Unless one of them is a friend-ditching liar."
Pony Head's shocked face became a sad one.
"That Earth Turd means that much to you?"Pony Head asked.
"He's the best turd I've ever known."Star stated with her arms folded.
"Let's go back and get Marco, Pony Head."Serena insisted, agreeing with Star. "He could be in trouble."
Pony Head sighed. "Okay."
Back in the Amethyst Arcade...
Marco was tied to a chair as the masked men shine a lamp in his face and interrogate him.
"For the last time...where is she?!"the first masked man demanded.
"I'm telling you!"Marco cried out. "I don't know!"
"Not talking, eh?"the first masked man scowled. "What if I do...this?!"
The masked man started flickering the lamp on and off.
"Stop!"Marco begged desperately. "That's really annoying!"
Star, Pony Head and Serena emerged from a portal, only to spot Marco being tied by the masked men.
"There he is."Star whispered and activated her wand. "Crystal Dagger—"
"Wait, B-Fly! It's too dangerous, girl!"Pony Head protested and looked at Star. "Hold out your hand. Bleh!"
Star holds out her hand and Pony Head gives her the dimensional scissors.
"Your dimensional scissors?"Serena questioned. "Why are you giving them up?"
"I won't need 'em where I'm going."Pony Head responded.
"But, Pony Head-"Star started.
"What are you doing?"Serena demanded.
The masked men surround Marco menacingly.
"Oh, hey, creeps!"Pony Head called out and the masked men looked at her. "I heard you're looking to ride with a pony! So come and get me!"
The masked men growled and started chasing Pony Head around the arcade.
"Whoo!"Pony Head cheered. "Out of the way, squares!"
Pony Head crashed through a group of square nerds and they all fall to the floor in a Tetris-like sequence.
The masked men crash through the wall of nerds.
"I better help Marco!"Star suggested.
"Then I'll go help Pony Head!"Serena insisted.
Marco started trying to free himself from the ropes and frees one of his arms.
"Stand back, Marco!"Star instructed.
"No! It's okay!"Marco asured. "My hand is free—!"
"Shiny Emerald Snake Strike!"Star chanted.
Star turned the ropes into snakes and Marco spits one out of his mouth.
"Marco, stop playing around!"Star demanded and then pulled Marco along.
The masked men continued to chase Pony Head as Serena emerged one of the nearby arcade games.
"Slippering Ice Water Wave!"Serena chanted.
Serena used her ring to make the floor path of the masked man to be turned into ice which made them slip and crash to another side of the arcade.
Pony Head used her unicorn horn to blast several arcade machines, making clouds of dust and scaring the square nerds.
"Whoo-hoo! I feel so alive!"Pony Head cheered. "Whoa!"
Pony Head nearly gets caught by the masked men after recovering form their fall.
The Princess of the Cloud Kingdom blasted hanging stalactites with her magic and they fall onto the masked men.
Pony Head continued laughing until she slammed into a wall and falls to the ground while the masked men approached her.
Star, Marco and Serena jump in front of Pony Head to protect her.
"Back off, creeps!"Star snapped.
"Pick on somebody you're on size!"Serena retorted.
"Don't worry, Pony Head!"Marco assured. "We've got your back! Of your head."
Pony Head smiled and gets ready to fight the masked men alongside Star, Marco and Serena.
"Time to give it up, cupcake!"King Pony Head's voice echoed out.
"Is that...King Pony Head?"Star asked.
King Pony Head appeared from behind the masked men causing Marco to become shocked while Serena's eyes widen a bit.
"Uhhhh..."Marco started.
"Whoa."Serena said lightly.
"Hello, Daddy."Pony Head responded with a nervous smile.
"Hello, princess."King Pony Head replied.
Star glanced at Pony Head.
"What is he doing here?"Star whispered.
"Oh, B-Fly, it's the end of the line for me."Pony Head admitted with a sad smile. "But at least I got in one last night of fun with you, girl."
"One last night?"Star said in confusion. "Before what?"
"Before this!"Pony Head sobbed with tears in her eyes. "I'm going to St. O's!"
Star gasped in horror.
"Not St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses?!"Star panicked.
"Oh, it's true."Pony Head agreed. "I did it to myself. I'm headed to the slammer."
"There's a prison school for princesses?"Serena said in disbelief.
"Yes, Rena."Star agreed with a fearful look. "They force princesses to become proper ladies."
"But it's a jail school!"Pony Head panicked.
"It's reform school, cupcake, not jail."King Pony Head explained. "Although admittedly it is a lot like jail."
Star looked at Pony Head with a happy look.
"Oh, Pony Head!"Star cooed. "You knew you'd get sent to St. Olga's, but you still came back to save Marco."
"Oh, well, you know...it's hard to say it, but he is your other bestie like Rena is."Pony Head admitted. "Okay, I said it."
"Ohhhh...come here!"Star chuckled.
Star hugged Pony Head in joy.
"Hugs!"Star and Pony Head said in unison.
Star pulled Marco and Serena into the hug before the masked men came forward.
"All right, princess."A masked man scowled. "Time to go."
The masked men muzzle Pony Head and drag her away.
"Bye, Pony!"Star called out. "I'm gonna miss you!"
"We hope to see you again soon!"Serena chuckled.
"Hey, Pony Head?"Marco spoke up and Pony Head stopped to look back at him. "Good luck in princess jail."
"Aw. Thanks, Earth Tu—"Pony Head started and quickly corrected herself. "I mean, thank you, Marco. But don't worry about me! No jail can hold on to me for long! Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!"
Pony Head were dragged through the portal by the three masked men.
"Kids. You have them em, and then you...wish they weren't around."King Pony Head sighed.
King Pony Head goes through the portal and it closes behind him.
"Yay!"Star cheered. "My besties are besties!"
"Yeah...I wouldn't go that far."Marco commented and then started to panic. "Hey! We're stuck in another dimension!"
"Oh, no, we're not."Star remarked and revealed Pony Head's dimensional scissors. "Bleh!"
"Whoa!"Marco said in amazement.
"Now we can go anywhere we want."Star declared. "Anywhere in the entire universe."
Marco smiled. "I know just the place."
"I think it's better if you first drop me back home, guys."Serena insisted. "Otherwise, my dad is going to hire a police force to search for me."
"Then allow me."Star remarked.
Star used the dimensional scissors to create a portal for her, Marco and Serena to go inside.
Inside the Wilson Manor...
Serena jumped out of the portal and found herself back in her room.
"Alright, guys."Serena whispered. "See you later."
"Bye, Rena!"Star and Marco whispered back in unison.
Star and Marco waved goodbye before they disappeared in the portal.
Serena quickly used her ring to remove her skipping rope and closed her bedroom window to hide the evidence that she went out.
The orange haired girl then laid on her bed to use her phone as the door opened revealing Addison.
"Phew. You're back."Addison sighed in relief. "I had to play board games with mum and dad to keep them distracted."
"Where are they now?"Serena asked.
"Sleeping in the coach."Addison answered with a smirk. "I tired them out."
"Thanks."Serena thanked and handed her little sister 20 dollars. "For you and your scout team to buy anything you want."
"Whoa! Thanks, Serena."Addison thanked and hugged her sister. "So where did you go tonight?"
"I think it's best if I sit down and tell you."Serena suggested with a smirk.
