Sylia understood why he hasn't told anyone about the looming future but her curiosity did let her mind wander to many crazy paths. From winning too losing she wondered without restriction. She looked down at her lap too see Jacob passed out with head resting on her thighs, spent the whole day training and railroaded himself in the process. She watched his chest rise and fall as he slumbered peacefully. Jacob peacefully slept as she waited too hear from Priss. Jacob's eyes opened as he groaned before sitting upright. Quickly realizing where he was he saw Sylia. At first he was confused. Then he remembered he was barely able to keep conscious after working out to the point where he was completely dry of energy. He had fallen asleep sitting up right but just a moment ago his head was resting on Sylia thighs...A lot of the nerds would've dreamed of that.

"I gotta limit myself next time" He chided himself.

"Your stubbornly determined" Sylia said.

"That too" Jacob agreed.

Jacob stood tall moving over to the kitchen.

"Want a coffee?" Jacob asked her.

"2 sugar 1 cream" Sylia replied.

After fixing up two cups he returned and handed one to Sylia. Jacob decided to stand as he sipped from his cup. The coffee was black and tasted bitter. The door opened and in strode Priss, someone who was gonna hate him in a day or today. It was midday and Jacob was surprised it hadn't happened yet. It must be soon but not as quick as it was made out to be. He mused. Looking out the window he gazed at Genom and visibly snarled.

"So we're doing a suit fitting today?" Priss inquired after closing the door.

"We are, better time than any" Sylia nodded.

Jacob didn't react just staring blankly out of nothing. This increased the tension by ten fold as Jacob sipped some more coffee. His nerves were get beginning to get to him. He was shaking like a leaf!.

"Everything alright Jacob?" Priss asked with concern.

"Fuck it!" Jacob sudden snapped.

He turned walking to the table down in the rest of the coffee as he went. Putting the cup down he moved to the key hanger and grabbed Mackies 1968 mustang fastback.

"Pirss come on, I'll fill ya in once we get going" He said grabbing his wallet and fake identification courtesy of Nene. "Don't stop me Sylia I know what I'm doing, my conscious is clear"

Sylia remained seated however and didn't budge. She looked at him with a reaffirming look in her eyes. Jacob nodded back. Stepping out the door both Jacob and Priss began down the stairs rapidly. Sylia closed the door, hoping riding him go out to alter history was for the best. Saviour complex is at play...echoing the very man which saved his life. She hadn't known how bad it was for him as a kid. The fact that it started this feeling within him spoke volumes. Saving those who can't save themselves, saving those predetermined to die, saving those who were loved. Sylia formed a small smile on her face, she knew he'd do well as a Knight Saber.

The red and black Mustang felt good. Every slam of the throttle felt like a sweet release of stress. Every car past made him feel alive!. Of course he had to take the low roads. Less patrolled routes of the police hopefully to make it in time. Jacob told her everything that was going to happen today even Mason's death. Obviously he left out the fact that Mason was already there overseeing the destruction. Priss was alarmed by it, surprised that he trusted her with the information that he didn't tell anyone else. Honestly he couldn't give a shit anymore, all the secrets and all the lies we're beginning to get to him. Only two episodes in Jesus Christ. Jacob thought swinging past another car. Bringing his attention back to the vehicle he smiled briefly. Mackie dose have good taste in cars. He mused before shifting into fourth gear. Continuing to drive Jacob felt sick, as if he was about to throw up. Keeping it down they reached the building complex in less than five minutes after he felt it. Skidding to a stop on the side of the road Priss leap from the car. Jacob exited more cautiously seeing Mason watch as people were rounded up and forced from their buildings.

Priss reached Sho and his mother who both looked despairingly at her. Many people had the same expression, other were of anger and sadness to boot. Sho's mother named Alexa Lynn stared up at the building. She was holding her son back for fear of the worst. Jacob found Priss and joined her. Leaning in close to her ear he whispered.

"Act like you don't know me. Mason's here" He softly said.

Priss nodded before Jacob looked at one of the erected cranes to begin destroying the apartment complex any minute. He grimaced. Stepping away a few steps he acted completely inconspicuous.

"They have no right too do this!" A angry tenant bellowed.

Many people shouted in agreement as Mason darkly chucked. His skinned boomer stood beside him with a black suit and dark brown hair. Mason was immediately greeted by the foreman who told him everything was ready to go on his signal. Mason decided to wait a minute just to soak in the misery. Sometimes doing things legally is fun. Mason mused as eyes swept across the crowd. His eyes fixed on one man and one man only. There was no mistake in his mind on who it was. The very same man he had marked for death alive and well standing there looking at one of the buildings. Mason's enjoyment died in a heartbeat as Jacob looked over to him with a smug smirk. He was mocking him!.

Jacob brought his attention back to the building as Mason gave the signal for them to begin. Alexa began running however towards her building. Jacob knowing this would happen and began after her. He was much faster than her and quickly moving up behind her and tackling her to the ground. Getting close to her ear he whispered.

"I'll give you what you lost just don't go in!" He warned her. "Think about your son damn it!"

Her struggling stopped right then and there. Pulling her to her feet he dragged her back to her son. Who was held back by Priss who was about to go after his mother. Jacob knew that was a suicidal gesture. Jacob kept a grip on Alexa as a figure approached from behind.

"Sir I thank you can let go of her now" It was Leon!.

Jacob did just that and turned with a smile on his face.

"Boy am I glad to see you" Jacob replied giving the officer a pat on the shoulder.

Leon himself smiled as he saw one of the cranes plowing to one of the buildings with the wrecking ball. The smile faded off his face as he nodded in agreement.

"If only it was under better conditions" Leon responded grimly.

"You could put that in writing" Jacob agreed.

Suddenly an angry tenant raced at Mason with a knife. The boomer however grabbed the attacker by the hand and twisted it making him let go. The large humanoid robot tossed the man back into the crowd as people dove outta the way. Leon Began walking over at a quick pace. Jacob decided to join the officer as Priss remained with the family. Jacob helped the attacker up as Leon took him in hand. Jacob surrendered his grip and let him have the man.

"All of you are now trespassing, leave or I'll press charges!" Mason warned with a megaphone.

Jacob clenched his fist before moving back to Priss. Leon couldn't do a thing for these people, what Mason was doing was completely within the law.

"Come on we'll get your set up somewhere in town, I'll I need a day before I can get the money" Jacob said softly.

Alexa was out of her shock now and nodded in agreement. The group made their way to the Mustang as Jacob helped Alexa and her son into the back. Priss took the passenger seat as Jacob watched mason. The executive looked at him and Jacob looked back with venom. Throwing up his hand with his middle finger extended he climbed into the car and began driving off in complete an utter silence.

After getting them set up Priss joined Jacob back at the car who was smoking a cigarette in silence. He looked ready to kill. He looked at her and slid behind the driver seat. Priss joined him. Back in the car up and turning it around he began driving again. Making onto the the Priss was happy that they were live another day.

"Thank you" She said as he dryly nodded.

The rest of the drive was silent, not a single word said throughout. After reaching home Jacob parked the car In the underground garage. Mackie was waiting by the door and was relieved to see his ride in one piece. Jacob handed him his keys and apologized. Mackie shrugged and the three began towards upstairs.

Nene and Linna were already there at Sylia's request as Jacob, Priss and Mackie entered the apartment. Closing the door Jacob looked over to them and relented. He had already told Priss of today so why not. Grabbing a chair he took a seat but sat with the backrest in front resting his head on the top. Everyone was looking at them now as he found his words.

"A mother of a child was supposed to die today, stopped it of course and now your reasons for going after Mason are almost nonexistent" Jacob began letting the words sink in.

"Go on" Sylia urged him.

Jacob felt eyes watching him, he took a long breath before continuing.

"Later today Mason will find out who Sylia is. Today Mason will die by her hands...for the murder of her father" He decided to keep it quick as silence befell the room.

The news was an absolute shock to everyone except Sylia who secretly knew who killed her father. She felt some evidence went against that most likely manufactured by Genom. But Jacob was a proof that they were lying.

"So he did do it" Mackie said quietly.

Absorbing what he just heard. Learning of the man who killed his father. Jacob looked to him with a pitying lock.

"Yes, what happens next depends on her" Jacob said. "It's your choice, I refuse to make it for any of you" He added.

He was tired of it. They were capable of making their own choices and he was not one to take that away from them. The sun was still up, around 4 o'clock and Sylia looked to Jacob.

"Thank you Jacob but we will do it regardless" She replied.

"Later, closer to midnight" Jacob advised her.

Sylia agreed full heartedly. Nene handed Jacob a coffee who thanked her. Taking a small sip he realized his hand was shaking. Resting the cup down on the coffee table he pinch the bridge of his nose.

"I feel sick" He muttered softly.

If he could vomit at the moment he would. Priss was now next to him pulling him gently off the chair. He didn't have the energy to protest. Suddenly he was pulled into a tight hug. Her arms held him tightly as Jacob suddenly felt safe as he did with Linna. He hugged softly in return as an awkwardness settled over everyone else in the room.

"Get a room already!" Nene yelled out.

Priss shot Nene a look as Jacob didn't listen just resting his tired head on her shoulder. It was as if he had fallen asleep.

"Nene be nice" Linna chided her.

Jacob and Priss reluctantly broke apart as both.

"Thank you" Jacob said. "I feel less sick now"

Priss only nodded. Jacob left it at that as Sylia stood.

"Well we'd better get to the lab while there's still daylight. Jacob it's time"
