Sparks POV
''Alright, alright Timmy. I'll give you a 20. But only if you promise to spend it on something you actually need. Like a new pair of boots.'' I hand Timmy a 20 dollar bill, holding it slightly above his head. He was much shorter than I was.
''Okay, Okay. Deal!'' He grinned at me, his front tooth more yellow than the rest. He had a way of seeming much older then he was. I don't think that bothered him slightly though.
He takes the 20 from my hand and tucks it in his brown jacket.
''Anything else gentlemen?'' The local pub owner asked us behind the bar we were sitting at.
I finish my drink in one last chug, passing a bill over to the bar tender along with the empty glass.
''I'm all done here.'' I say plainly.
''One more Sparks!'' Suggests Tim. I push his head playfully.
''You only say that because I'm paying for the tab.'' I say. Sometimes on our Friday's, I like to come to the local pub for a few hours. Mostly to take the edge off a bit before I head home.
Tim chugs his last drink and sloppily stands.
''And nothing makes me happier.'' He says with a loud laugh.
''I have to cut you off before you're to drunk to walk yourself home. I don't want to have to carry you again.'' I say. He looks at me grinning as he lights one of his cigarettes.
''Just helping you with your daily workout.'' He puffs the stick.
''Hey, hey! I've told you once and I've told you one hundred times kid, no smoking near the bar! Either sit in the smokers booth or-'' Tim waves a hand at the bar tender's face.
''Yea, yea. I'm leaving anyway. See ya Sparks.'' I nod at him, gathering myself up ready to head home.
''Thanks Philip, I'll see you next week.'' I say, passing a tip to the owner. He nods at me and continues to serve the drunk man that was sitting next to us.
I step out of the pub. It wasn't big but not small either. It had a small dining area where you can order from their small menu. It was slightly dark inside, mostly full of horny men who like to see the waitresses and servers working there.
I begin to walk home. It was a nice quiet town. My favorite part about walking home this dark, were the empty streets that were lit with street lights and empty restaurant lights. In this warm weather more people would be walking around. Some with their children and some with their friends. I spent most of my time alone, mostly by choice. I do enjoy my quiet time.
''Sparks!'' I stop at the sound of my name being called by a sweet voice.
Turning around I see Isabel. A friend of mine, looking out of her station wagon window. A nice car she was carpooled in.
Isabel was a wealthy girl. Her name known very well. I've never met someone who was well off but sweet at the same time.
Her car pulled over in front of me. Her chauffer glancing at me. She excitedly steps out her back seat.
''It's nice seeing you again! I don't think I said goodbye to you at my dinner party the other week.'' She grins. Her perfect white teeth giving me a genuine smile.
''I had something to take care of. Sorry for not excusing myself.'' I say. Memories of that night flooding my head. I made a fist in my jacket pocket. Any hot memory of Nova is enough to make me feel warm.
''It's okay! What are you doing out this late?''
''I can ask you the same thing my lady. You should be home by now.'' I give her a wink. Her face easily get flustered. She had a sweet face. Nice big brown eyes with long eyelashes. Her cheeks an adorable pink tint whenever she spoke to someone. Her hair was medium length brown, a nice light milk chocolate brown that she kept nice and straight always.
She tucked her hair behind her ear.
''I was just coming back from seeing a relative. Would you like a ride home?'' She asks me with a hopeful tone of voice. I smile at her.
''I'm alright. I like the walk home.'' She looks slightly disappointed but smiles anyway.
''Okay, what about my birthday party tomorrow? Are you still coming?'' I nod.
''I'll be there doll face.'' I say. She perks up, her eyes sparkling under the street lamp we stood by.
''Okay! I'll be seeing you tomorrow then. Goodnight Sparks.'' I nod and smile, helping her open the door as she steps into the car. I close it behind her.
''Goodnight.'' She waves as her chauffer drives off. I stare at her car driving off.
Mostly only the wealthier people owned station wagon that they were driven around in. They were a sight. I dig my hands into my jacket pockets and continue my walk home.
…..
''Out drinking again?'' I look up to see one of my neighbors. She stood by her door, leaning against the railing.
I lived in a small apartment complex. It was on the cheaper side of town. The complex was two stories high surrounded with concrete walls and an old concrete entrance that was practically falling apart. Entering the complex, there was an old laundry mat and office to the right. This place had about ten small apartments downstairs and about ten more going upstairs.
The railing somewhat old and rusted in some areas. My apartment was upstairs. All the neighbors here were pretty close. We all knew each other. Some have lived here their entire lives, and with so little people here, parties took place in the middle of the complex downstairs.
I moved here when I was younger but it didn't take long for me to adjust and to become pretty close to some of my neighbors. And here is where I met Sora.
She let her bright red hair drape over her exposed shoulders. She wore a strapless shirt, tight enough to hug her breasts perfectly. She never leaves her apartment with a hair out of place.
She gave me a flirty smile and flicked her hair behind her. Her dark eyes staring at me with purpose. I would be lying to myself if I didn't say that always looked intriguing.
''Why out so late?'' I say, making it up the stairs to stand in front of her. She smirks, turning around to rest her elbows on the railing, causing herself to slightly bend over.
''It's a nice night.'' She says.
''You're not wrong about that. Goodnight Sora.'' I was abut to walk passed her when she stood up straight with her hands on her hips.
''It's not that late. Why not join me inside for a cup of coffee maybe?'' She asks, fluttering her eyes at me. Her lips formed a pout.
''Thanks but no thanks. I'm clocking in for tonight.''
She steps close to me, placing her hands on my chest. She smelled like spicy cinnamon.
''Just for a little bit. Remember our old coffee dates?'' She winked at me.
Wrapping her arms around my neck she leaned into my face. Her dark eyeshadow complimented her perfectly.
I smirked at her.
''How could I forget? You got some true talent in the bedroom.'' I state. Sora and I slept with each other a lot back then. The nights I would come home tired from work, she would always be here to help me relieve my stress. With her amazing looks and skills in bed, I was always ready for her.
But as time went on, sleeping with someone wasn't a huge priority anymore. Especially after I met Nova. The sweet fruit that filled me up enough to be satisfied for a few days.
''Then why not let me show you heaven again? It's been a long time.'' She leans in, nibbling my neck a tiny bit. Her right hand trailed up to my head, grabbing my hair lightly.
She brushed her mouth from my neck, to my chin, meeting at my mouth. Only an inch away she whispers to me.
''I promise I'll obey..''
I lean in to softly bite her lip, I felt her shiver and grip my hair. I chuckled and pulled away.
''As tempting as it sounds, I am pretty tired.'' I state, passing by her.
''Maybe next time.'' She stares me with a pout, I wink at her and unlock my door which was right next to hers.
''Goodnight.'' I say.
…..
Nova's POV
''I'll be heading off to Isabel's party in about ten minute mother. Luke is picking me up.''
My mother smiles from my bed where she sat as I got ready.
''How exciting it is that you two are talking again.'' She claps her hands together in excitement.
''Yea, I did miss him. But my, he sure has grown a lot.'' I say with a small laugh.
I look into my mirror as I continue pinning my hair in place. I was going for a nice half up do, my curtain bangs falling against my face perfectly.
I was a little excited to see Luke tonight. I wanted him to see me and be speechless. I wore a long brown strapless dress. It hugged my upper body and flowed at the bottom. My breasts perfectly sitting where they should be. I smiled slightly at my reflection, pulling some hair strands to the front.
''You look beautiful darling.'' I smile at my mother.
''Thank you mom.''
''Did you and Luke get the chance to talk about why you stopped talking to each other?'' She asked. I sighed.
''Not quite. But maybe tonight.''
''Did you get Isabel's gift?''
I nod and gesture towards the corner of my room where a nice bright red bag sat.
''I bought her a nice dress. I guessed her size the best I could. I hope she likes it and it fits.'' I say
''Maybe use tonight to reconnect with all your old friends. Luke and Isabel. I'm sure Isabel is very happy that you attended her dinner party the other week and now you're going to her birthday party!''
She probably was happy. Isabel has always been sweet. Although we have never been truly super close. Just good friends at some point if you would even call it that.
We heard a knock at my door.
''Miss? Luke is here for you.'' We heard Rida on the other side of the door say.
''We will be right there Rida! Finish getting ready Nova, I'll go see him downstairs.'' My mother stands, walking towards me to lay a kiss on my head before she steps out of my room.
I stand up glancing at myself in the mirror one last time before I grab Isabel's gift and step out of my room to go downstairs to greet Luke.
''Luke! Darling how are you?'' I heard my mother say. I begin to walk downstairs, spotting Luke by the door as my mother gave him a big hug.
My, he really was handsome. He wore a nice black suit, no tie, his hair slicked back like before, letting some strands fall down in the front.
When I approached them he looked at me with his serious eyes.
''You look beautiful tonight Nova.'' He grabs my hand, placing a soft kiss on it.
''Thank you.'' I say smiling at him.
''Well have fun you too! Watch over Nova, would you Luke?''
''All night long.'' Says Luke with a chuckle. My mother nods happily, leaving the room.
''A gift for Isabel?'' I ask gesturing to the bouquet of red roses he was holding.
''Actually.. These are for you, my lady.'' He holds the flowers out to me.
''Oh for me? What's the occasion?'' I say with a teasing smile.
''A beautiful women like you deserves flowers everyday. Please accept them.''
I smile, taking the flowers from him and putting them up to my nose. I could smell the fresh smell of roses. My favorite smell.
''They're lovely Luke. Thank you.''
''Should we get going?'' He gives me a soft grin as he holds his arm out for me. I place the flowers down on a table we had near the door and wrap my arm around his, purposely pressing myself against him a tiny bit.
''Let's go.'' I say.
Walking out, I see he walks confidently and with pride. He knows what he's worth and what he's here for.
When we reach the station wagon he came in, he opens my door for me. With a warm smile I step inside the passengers seat.
Luke would be the type to drive himself and not be driven around, despite the fact that his family was wealthy.
He steps into his car, turning it on. The moonlight really made him look mysterious. His eyes were narrowed but full of confidence.
''Is there a reason you look at me like that?'' He asks catching me off guard.
''To be blunt, I was just curious on how much you've changed.'' I say.
He chuckled, his white teeth showing.
''Trust me, keeping my eyes off of you isn't easy either.'' I twirl a strand of hair between my fingers.
''So Mr. straightforward. I don't think I've asked yet… Is there a women in your life?'' I asked.
''Wow. I guess I'm not the only one who is straightforward.'' He says with a grin.
''I'd rather not, oh what was it that you said? ' Beat around the bush? ''' I give him a flirty smile.
''Well, If there was a women, I don't think I would of asked you to be my date to this party now would I?''
''I guess not.'' He grins once more.
….
''Nova! I'm so happy you've made it! And Luke smith! Bernard's son! How lovely to see you again.'' Isabel flashes us a pretty smile. Her brown hair curled and not a hair out of pace. Her purple dress really making her warm skin tone pop.
''My father apologizes for not being able to come. This is from him and I.'' Luke hands Isabel a small gift bag and small gift box. She smiles widely.
''Please give him my thanks.''
''Of course.'' Luke says.
I hand Isabel the gift I got for her.
''I hope you like it. I'm pretty sure it should fit.'' I say. She takes the gift and gives me a small hug.
''Thank you Nova. Now, I must go greet my other guests, Please enjoy yourselves!'' We nod as she excuses herself.
''Her house is really gorgeous, did you see the beautiful water fountain ?'' I ask.
''How could I miss it?'' Says Luke with a chuckle.
He takes me hand.
''You really are beautiful. I'm lucky to have such a beautiful lady as my date tonight.'' He kisses my hand, continuing to hold it.
''Such a charmer.'' I say, flashing my eyelashes his way. He catches this, leaning in a bit closer.
''Do you want to dance?''
I nod, he grabs my arm and leads me to the dance floor where soft music played. Two more couples danced around us.
Luke pulled me close, my breasts pressed against him. He held my waist tightly, and took my other hand in his. We both swayed back in forth.
I looked him in his eyes, he narrowed them at me. I was able to see his jaw tighten.
''Don't be nervous, It's just a dance.'' I teased.
He glanced up to look around us before leaning into my ear.
''Me nervous? You're mistaken.''
He gives me small smirk, giving my waist a squeeze.
His touch was dominating. Hard but not rough.
I smile at him but my smile quickly faded when I see a familiar face behind him.
Sparks.
What on earth is he doing here? I practically yell in my head. He's ruining everything! His appearance alone is enough to attract me like a magnet. He didn't need the black suit he was wearing to look absolutely flawless.
Luke notices my angry stare. He turns to the direction I was looking towards.
''What is it?'' Before he can fully turn, I place my hand on his face, pulling his face towards me.
''Nothing! Just saw someone I knew..'' I say.
''You looked bothered, is everything okay?'' I nod, finding a way to change the subject.
It was almost impossible to concentrate knowing Sparks was here. Has he noticed me yet?
''I just want you to focus on us dancing.'' I say softly. He looks down at me, running his hands down my back a little bit.
''All my focus is on you.'' He states.
He places both hands on my waist and I wrap mine around his neck. Both of us swaying back and forth.
''You know, out of every girl in this room, You're the most attractive.''
I lean into his ear.
''How do I know you're not just saying that?''
I glance up, trying to look for Sparks without being too obvious. More people come onto the dance floor and I finally spot him. He's chatting with Isabel. Did she invite him? I see him hand her a bouquet of flowers. I feel my face get hot.
Flowers for her? But why? What is she to him. She giggles and hugs him with a wide smile. She practically threw her entire body on him. He hugs her back. That idiot.
''So what do you say?'' I heard Luke say.
''I-I'm sorry. Can you repeat yourself?'' I ask, slightly embarrassed at not paying attention.
''I said, I can prove it to you.'' I lean back, looking into his eyes trying to remember what we were talking about.
''Then do it.'' I say, only somewhat guessing what the last thing I said was.
''Do you want that?'' He whispers to me, cupping my chin to face him directly.
I smirk.
'' That depends on the outcome.'' I press myself against him causing him to squeeze my waist.
''I think we both would be very pleased with it.'' He whispers. I smile, breaking apart from him.
''Let's grab a glass of wine.'' I say.
He nods, and takes my arm, walking towards a small table that was set for guests. The huge room was surrounded with them. He pulls the chair out for me. I sit, straight and perfect like my mother taught me.
''I'll be back with our glasses. Anything you wanted?'' He asks leaning down to me.
''Surprise me.'' I say flashing my eyes at him. He smiles and nods walking off.
I sit there staring at the people dancing and talking.
I was never a huge fan of events like these. Parties were like a playground for adults. Most came here to find a nice fling for the night that matched their standards. It was mostly people chatting about their wealth or trips as they drank wine and danced.
I sighed, bored already even though Luke had only been gone for about a minute.
''How about a dance?'' My body freezes up and my skin feels hot at the sound of Sparks' voice. I turn to my side and see Sparks there. He stands with his unbutton black suit jacket. A hand in his nice black slacks.
''No, thank you.'' I say plainly and turn back to face in front of me.
''Go away Sparks. You and me don't know each other.'' I whisper harshly.
''Is there a problem Nova?'' Luke approaches us with two glasses. Handing one to me as I stand.
''No, not a all Luke. I was just helping this gentlemen look for uhm-''
''Nova!'' I give a sigh of relief as Isabel happily approaches us.
''I see you've met my friend Sparks!'' So they're friends.
''Y-yea.'' I manage to get out.
''Actually, we already knew each other. I work for Nova's family.'' Spark says. I glare at him slightly.
''Oh! That's so nice. I had no idea.'' Says Isabel with a smile.
''I think I recall seeing you when I visited Nova the other day.'' Says Luke. Sparks nods, stepping up.
''Most likely me. I work in the garden, I'm Sparks.'' Sparks holds his hand out to Luke.
''Of course. I'm Luke smith.'' Luke slowly shakes Sparks hand. I instantly felt the tension.
I take a couple drinks of my wine throughout this exchange.
They both were almost complete opposites. Luke narrowed his eyes at Sparks and stood tall. One hand holding his glass and the other wrapped around my arm. Sparks stood tall as well, almost sizing up Luke with his glances.
Isabel grabbed Sparks' arm.
''How about a dance Sparks? I've been looking forward to it.'' Sparks grins at her.
''Of course, birthday girl.'' She giggles and with a nod our way they walk off.
''I don't know what it is but there's something about that guy that I don't like.'' Luke states.
''Tell me about it. My mother hired him, but I can't stand him.'' I say.
''He must be Isabel's guest. Or I'm sure a man like him would have no business at a party like this.'' Luke says.
I Look towards Sparks and Isabel. He danced with her and he smiled widely whenever they spun. What was he doing with her? They seemed close.
''Everything okay?'' I heard Luke say.
I nod, taking a few drinks of my glass.
''Yes, I'm enjoying being here with you.'' I say. He smiles.
''More wine?'' He asks, gesturing towards my empty glass. I nod smiling.
….
I giggled softly at Luke's joke. We sat at our table chatting. It was that time of night where everyone was dancing more and being a bit louder. Mostly a result of the wine. Me and Luke sat by each other, our knees almost touching under the covered table.
I myself have had a few glasses of wine already while Luke was still on his first. He was driving after all.
''Whenever you want to get out of here, just say the word.'' Luke says, smiling confidently. I smile at him, Leaning my head on my hands as I propped my elbows on the table.
''Where would we go? Home?'' I ask softly.
He leans closer.
''Anywhere you want my lady.'' I lean back on my chair, throwing my hair back.
''That does sound nice.'' I say. I rub my knee against his. He scoots closer, returning the gesture.
I feel his hand touch my knee, giving it a squeeze.
''You know Luke. I've always felt horrible for not giving you a proper goodbye when we were children.''
''Don't worry about. I understood what you were going through. I've never held it against you.'' He says. When he said that, it did feel nice to hear. Relieving.
I grab his hand and place it on my thigh.
''I can make it up to you..'' I say.
''Let's get out of here.'' He says, taking my hint.
''Let me go powder my nose first. I'll be right back.'' I say. He helps me up, I am now feeling the glasses of wine.
''Who knew you'd like wine this much.'' Says Luke with a small laugh.
''Let me help you.'' He says grabbing my arm.
I wave my hand at him.
''It's okay, I got it thank you. I'll be right back.'' I say. He nods and I walk towards the bathroom. The lights seemed super bright and I felt hot. I should of stopped at three glasses.
I walk down the dim hallway away from the party room until I reach Isabel's restroom. I step inside turning the light on and catch glimpse of myself in the mirror. I lean on the sink. My face was flustered. Cheeks red. I take a deep breathe, fanning some air to my face with my hands.
I take a piece of toilet paper and clean my makeup up a bit.
I heard a soft knock on the bathroom door.
''Occupied.'' I say.
The person opens the door, I gasp as I remember I unfortunately left the door unlocked. Sparks steps inside, locking the door behind him.
''Sparks? What on earth are you doing in here?!'' I harshly whisper.
''With how amazing you look tonight, you think I can keep my hands off of you? It's been hard enough already.''
He pins me against the bathroom wall. I don't know if it's because of my tipsy state that I wanted to give in already, or if it's because seeing him walk around all night long without being able to touch him was torture.
He leans into my ear, nibbling it before speaking.
''You're getting a little too close to that guy. I don't like it.'' He whispers.
His hand slowly scrunches up my dress until he's able to touch the skin on my thigh.
''Sparks….not here….'' The alcohol and the feeling he was making me feel was too much. I felt the spot between my legs soak and myself shiver.
''Real quick.'' Sparks growls out. He pulls away but only to quickly take his jacket off. His white collared shirt hugging his body perfectly. He pins me back against the wall again. His hands wandering up my back until they reach my zipper.
''I'm going to fuck you.'' He breathes out before he kisses me. I kiss him back, letting myself melt into this kiss. I feel him begin to unzip my dress before he stops.
''Get on the sink.'' He whispers to me.
I obey quickly. Before I could even walk towards it, he picked me up and places me on it, scrunching up my dress and spreading my legs. He gets down on his knees, his face at the perfect height for his destination. He glances up at me, his eyes full of lust.
''Just relax for me.'' He says before pushing my underwear to the side and kissing my sweet spot. I throw my head back slightly. Placing a hand on top of his head.
He sucked on my clit lightly, building me up. A small moan escaped my lips.
He licked in between my lips, passionately kissing my clit whenever he reached it.
My mouth hung open but closed multiple times, trying to keep my moans in.
''Nova? Are you okay?'' I heard Luke say from the other side of the door.
I'm quickly snapped back to reality. I try to sit up but Sparks' hand pushes me back into the sitting position I was in. He looks at me as he continues to show me what he can do.
''Nova?''
''Y-yes!... I'm fine Luke!'' I manage to say. Sparks plunges a finger inside. Causing my back to arch and me to bite my lip.
''Just checking.'' Luke says.
Sparks fingers me faster, the sounds of my soaked spot getting louder. I reach down, pulling his hand away from me. I sit up, causing Sparks to stop what he was doing. I glare at him, gesturing him to hide in the bathtub. He steals a kiss from me, causing my glare to intensify as he steps behind the bath curtain.
I quickly wash my hands and freshen up before I step out of the restroom.
''I'm sorry for making you wait Luke. I think the alcohol is really taking a toll on me.'' I say shyly. He grins.
''Then lets take you home.'' I smile at him taking his arm.
''God idea.'' I say.
We walk away from the restroom where my sin was at. I'm mad at how easily he can make me give in. Everything about him drives me to forget my morals and standards.
…..
''Well, we're finally here.'' Says Luke as he pulls into our driveway. I smile at him.
''I really did have fun. Thank you for being a gentleman all night'' I say.
He gets out of his car and opens my door, holding my hand as I step out. He holds my arm as we walk up to my door.
My head was still bubbly. The alcohol making my thoughts swing around at different speeds.
'' I enjoyed spending time with you as well.''
I look at him. The bright moon outlining his face features that lay almost perfect on his face. His hair still perfect.
He reaches over to cup my chin.
''I like the look in your eyes.'' He says.
I smile in a flirty way. I wanted to make progress with him tonight. And I was going to get it.
''What does it tell you?'' I ask, leaning in slightly. He chuckles, following my lead and doing the same thing. He looks at me, pressing his lips together.
''I think they're telling me that they want something more then just a goodbye.'' He says, his voice now husky and deep.
''Maybe you're right.'' I say. He places a hand on my back and I allow him.
''No use beating around the bush right?'' I tease. He grins, pulling me close.
''You're right.''
He presses his lips against mine in a sloppy hot kiss. Our tongue wrap around each other and he wraps his arms around my waist tightly.
His kiss was full of lust. It felt hot. I wrap my arms around his neck, gripping his hair. He roughly pulled me towards him, deepening the kiss. The only sounds around us was our breathing.
He runs his hand down my back, stopping at my bottom. He leaned into me, as I lean back. I smirk in the kiss. I knew I had him.
Breaking the kiss we both catch our breathes.
''That was a lovely goodbye.'' I say, wiping my pointer finger across his lips. He stared at me, his hair ruffled from me pulling on it during our hot encounter.
''Thanks for tonight, Hopefully I'll see you soon.'' I say. Luke clears his throat, smirking slightly at me.
''You defiantly will.'' He says.
I flash a flirty smile his way and step inside my home.
I lean my back against it.
You're going to be all mine Luke.
