A/N: Wow! That big in so little time. You guys sure work fast! I just wanted to put out this note thanking everyone who read, followed, and favorited this crossover as it was just a special idea I had to celebrate the release of Security Breach and I wanted to fix the story up some since a lot of content was cut. Adding in Ben 10 just seemed natural since FNAF is taking a more unrealistic approach nowadays so aliens fighting glitches doesn't seem that far-fetched when you really look into it. Anyway, thanks so much for the support and here comes the first official chapter of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (Ten Times the Security Breach) right at ya! Enjoy!
Chapter 1: The Beginning Troubles
"What do you mean overnight service is not provided? I can't go anywhere with my roof looking broken and dented. You sure you don't have some free charge program? Maybe just send one of your best guys over immediately? I'm getting desperate here!" Kevin complained as he talked on his phone and felt the dents on the roof of his car.
The aforementioned lamp post was currently covered in a magenta aura as Gwen was currently using her magic to lift the object off her boyfriend's car letting it smash into the pavement of the Pizzaplex parking lot. Kevin rolled his eyes as he managed to get into contact with a nearby repair shop just twenty minutes away and figured they had staff willing to come by to check his ride, but they were all booked up for the evening only having morning appointments which fueled the annoyance of the absorber to no end. Gwen sighed as she sat on the car hood and began looking off at the Pizzaplex seeing the mega size of this building while a big jumbotron clock looked back metaphorically with the white numbers showing the current time being 8:30.
"Screwy town service!" Kevin yelled as he ended the call and shoved the phone in his pocket before joining his girlfriend taking her left hand.
"So, you can't get your car fixed?" Gwen asked as she snapped out of her thinking chamber.
"Not till morning, I'm afraid. Looks like we're spending the night," Kevin replied.
"Maybe we can possibly find a hotel to book a room in?" Gwen suggested.
"Unless you can magically move this car, we would be walking for half the night. I'll just take the front seat," Kevin replied as he sighed sadly.
"I guess that's true. I'm just a little worried about Ben is all," Gwen stated.
"He said something about an interference when we got to this place. What could that be all about?" Kevin asked.
"That's the concerning part. We don't know who it is and don't know how to deal with this potential enemy so we are basically sitting ducks to them. They could be hiding in this giant mall and we wouldn't know the first place to look," Gwen replied.
"Typical. Bad guys always hide from us and get so many unfair advantages," Kevin spat.
They both looked at the stadium-sized black building as it was the size of a baseball stadium at best albeit a little smaller in length and width than a natural field. However, to make up for the plain color to it all, glass windows were planted all around showcasing the fun activities that families were enjoying and spotlights showcasing orange, red, green, pink, purple, and yellow colors really brought a vibrant appeal to the place. The logo hung at the front just above the jumbotron clock and the silver roof hovering over the entrance doors. Pink letters spelled out "Freddy Fazbear's" on top and "Mega Pizzaplex" on the bottom with the main four Glamrock Animatronics taking up the middle space. Glamrock Freddy had a natural brown color to his body with a painted blue mask over the eyes with a red trim and a blue lightning bolt down his chest. He wore red ear piercings, a black top hat with a blue band, a black bow tie, red shoulder blades, and he held a black microphone in his right paw outstretching his other one in a welcoming manner. Montgomery Gator stood next to him as he was colored a natural green fitted with a red mohawk, red star-shaped glasses, purple shoulders blades, and he held a purple guitar in his pose. Glamrock Chica was shown only by her face which was white with the natural yellow beak along with a pink bow tied in her hair, a painted pink circle over her left eye, and green triangle-shaped earrings hanging from her ears. Finally, Roxanne Wolf was winking in her pose as she was a grey wolf with amber eyes and long white hair with a single green strand up front. Roxanne wore a red top and carried her signature green-trimmed piano guitar as fun pop music could be heard rumbling inside. The back entrance had neon light signs of the four animatronics and the big words "SEE YOU SOON" on top of the silver roof hovering over the exit doors.
"I understand how kids could get lost in there, but doesn't this place have tight security? How come they haven't found any kids yet?" Kevin asked as he leaned on his windshield.
"I hear they mainly focus on robotics to stay true to their theme. They might use them for security purposes as well, but they aren't properly trained," Gwen replied.
"So, it's just maintenance incompetence? Got it," Kevin teased as he yawned.
"I don't know who they think are taking these kids, but whoever is behind this is really good at destroying the evidence linking them to the crime," Gwen complimented reluctantly.
"The natural way of doing things," Kevin uttered as he held up his left pointer finger.
"I just hope Ben is careful in there. I don't wanna think of what will happen if we lose him and the universe's best chance at survival," Gwen stated.
"Tennyson is a bright guy. He wouldn't do anything chaotically stupid to get himself killed. Accidentally….maybe….intentionally…..sometimes," Kevin teased with a snicker.
"Apparently, he's supposed to go on stage in half an hour and do some spectacle for the kids. He only got the email to come to this location two weeks ago," Gwen explained.
"It's typical of him to seize that spotlight. I just didn't think it would take us hours to get here and majority of it was through a desert," Kevin added.
"Fazbear Entertainment has always had a murky past. Their good at being manipulative and I fear the same thing could happen to Ben. He could get ripped off on pay or they could have him overly booked for more events. Too much shady business for my liking," Gwen stated.
"He said they also made a video game about their past? Do you know about it?" Kevin asked as he sat up to turn to Gwen.
"Minor details from online. It's just a cash grab to bury their past even more," Gwen replied.
"Talk about desperate measures," Kevin added.
Suddenly, they would be taking notice of a small grunt as they saw a kid nearly face plant on the pavement of the parking lot after colliding with Kevin's right car rim. The car jiggled a bit as the kid caught himself on the side appearing to wear a black coat. He continued on his way to the Pizzaplex as Kevin got up and used his hands to form a cone around his mouth.
"Hey, kid! Watch the rims! Watch where your going!" Kevin exclaimed after the covered kid, but the little boy seemed to not pay him any mind.
Gwen glared at Kevin as she turned her head to see the boy run in the Pizzaplex stroking her chin thoughtfully. Kevin went to check on the front of his car as Gwen reacted confused to seeing a single child without their parents or any kind of guardian. What could that be all about?
(Scene Break)
Ben was washing his face in one of the main atrium washrooms wiping his hands and face clean with a paper towel. He decided to treat his singing burns with some cold water from the sink and some rolled up pieces of paper towels using his Ultimatrix as an object to hold everything together tightly underneath the bulky device. The watch was still in recharge mode and Ben could hear the inner servos getting reconnected after the unknown attack he suffered through. The bathroom was nothing too special and only had green-tiled walls with white line dividers along with some posters of the animatronics that he would be sharing the stage with soon.
"I hope nothing goes wrong tonight. The last thing I want is a lot of terrible parent complaints and a lot of that falls back on the company," Ben muttered to himself as he exited the bathroom.
The main atrium has a lot of families and kids running around as the main walls were uniquely colored hot pink with escalators and stairs ascending to the second floor of the Pizzaplex. There was a gift shop named Glamrock Gifts and a café named Faz Pad on the first floor where many adults were getting a nice coffee. A lot of the kids were being bought plushies of their favorite robots and showing them off to new friends as they also wore Freddy Hats that were given to them by some service bots. That was another observation as many service bots were working around the clock assisting families with whatever they needed and the most noticeable decoration in the atrium was the giant golden statue of Glamrock Freddy singing into his signature microphone. Ben was amazed how big the place was and even got recognized as he took pictures with kids while also signing their plushies and hats.
"Don't forget to come see me at tonight's show!" Ben called after a few fans who waved back at him.
"Are you Ben Tennyson?" A gray service bot towering over Ben asked as the teen hero noticed the robot standing to his left.
"Yeah, I'm supposed to be a special guest tonight," Ben replied.
"This is your certified VIP Guest Pass. This will allow you access to the backstage areas to get ready with the other bots. You'll be coming from behind the curtains once the Glamrock Band is already up on the stage. The concert begins at 9PM sharp so be mindful of your time and don't be late," The service bot explained as it passed over a purple keycard with Glamrock Freddy's winking face on it and it was attached to a white lanyard.
Ben nodded eagerly taking the pass and putting it over his neck as the service bot went away in order to help customers. Ben shoved his hands in his pockets deciding to check out the mall while he had time seeing the main clock on a far right wall read 8:40 meaning he had 20 minutes of down time. He started heading up a flight of stairs on the right side and he would hear grunting and panting seeing a kid wrapped up in a black coat nearly burst through the glass doors. Throwing back the hood, it was a little boy with short brown hair and a bandage on his right cheek. Ben observed closely as the little kid looked between both directions he could take taking off his coat revealing his attire as a blue polo shirt, brown cargo shorts, and multi-colored shoes with dark grey soles. The kid would go up the left side of the stairs in quite the hurry pushing past annoyed adults as Ben thought about this in his head.
"Must want to get a front row seat. His parents are so gonna be mad he left without them," Ben stated. "Not like I can't fault a fan for wanting to see me. He must be excited."
Ben went about his merry way heading up to the second floor as he looked around him seeing the main doors to the stage and read the clock again reading 8:45 PM. Checking out the other places around, Ben saw an entrance to the daycare center and the museum hybrid room also acting as the home of the Glamrock Animatronics. Ben decided a quick look at the museum would better fill his mind on the traumatic past of the company he was sponsoring for tonight. He quickly ran over and pushed open the double pink doors heading inside.
(Scene Break)
"Ugh! Ah! Ah! What?! What?!" Ben shouted as he woke up from a nap on a wooden bench as he rubbed his eyes and yawned trying to regain some sense of vision.
Ben readjusted himself sitting up as he blinked a few times trying to see where his mind was and where his physical body was. He stood up seeing that the lights were down in the room, but he could make out the glass display cases holding artifacts from Fazbear Entertainment's past. Looking behind him brought another unforeseen sight as he saw each of the Green Rooms for the Glamrocks. He saw Roxanne checking herself in the mirror, Chica rocking out on her guitar, and heard rumbling coming from Montgomery's room, but it was blocked off. He looked over at the clock hanging above Chica's Green Room as it rang 9:25 PM.
"Wait a minute….it's a quarter past 9 o'clock….that means I was late! But wait….why are they back in their rooms so soon?" Ben questioned as he scratched the back of his head.
"Did this tin can really have to shut down on the last concert of the evening?"
"It's a pain in the neck just dragging him back here!"
Ben saw two men in black maintenance uniforms dragging Glamrock Freddy by his shoulders and feet. He ducked down not wanting to be spotted for looking as the men complained all the way into Freddy's Green Room and Ben saw them standing him back up obviously exhausted from dragging a heavy animatronic from the main stage back to the museum.
"That's Freddy. Why is his eyes closed?" Ben wondered as he stood up and tried tapping his Ultimatrix for communications.
"Ultimatrix is still in recharge mode," The device announced back at the owner.
"I fall asleep for nearly an hour and you're still not finished rebooting. Sometimes, I wish I never put you on my wrist," Ben chided the watch before sitting back down.
Ben figured Freddy must have malfunctioned or something and the last concert was cancelled causing many unhappy children to head home for the evening. The teen hero sighed as he basically came in here for nothing then and it was going to be a long two hour drive back to Bellwood, which was only two towns over, but lots of nothing for miles in-between. He covered his face with his left hand heavily knocking himself for even leaving Gwen and Kevin, but at least no one could scold him for being late to the show.
"I highly doubt Kevin is going anywhere with his car the way it is. I guess hotel it is then," Ben stated to himself.
"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for visiting, and we hope you enjoyed the show! Freddy and the gang are pretty tired, but they'll be back again next week after a few days of scheduled maintenance!" The male announcer over the intercom reported.
"That's a lot of refunds for you guys to bear," Ben muttered as he stood up from the bench stretching. "I guess I better head out as well."
Suddenly, Ben heard more footsteps as he saw a blonde woman wearing a mall security uniform start walking around the facility shining her flashlight all over the hallway. He decided he better get out as he whistled a tune to himself making his way for the atrium exit, but pounding on glass was heard in his ears. Ben looked over seeing a fully functional Glamrock Freddy staring back at him with lit up eyes as the bear animatronic beckoned him over to him. Ben pointed at himself as if asking Freddy if he wanted him to which Freddy nodded his head.
"Um….okay. This ought to be interesting," Ben muttered as he quickly came close to Freddy's room.
Ben put his hands on the glass as he looked at Freddy while the bear animatronic looked him down intently. However, before Ben could utter a word of concern, a flashlight was shined upon him as a barking voice startled him.
"Freeze! Hands where I can see them and off the glass!" A stern female voice ordered.
"Were you trying to get me in trouble?!" Ben whispered harshly as Freddy looked down at the red carpet in his room shamefully.
"Who are you? The museum is closed!" The female voice demanded.
Ben turned around slowly hands up in defense as his gaze was sat upon the blonde officer he saw walking in. He gulped as he tries forcing a nervous smile, but the cold glare from the security officer put him to shame as he sighed.
"Is there a problem, officer?" Ben asked.
"You got five seconds to start spilling why you're here or security will have a nice time dragging you to the exit by this jacket," The officer threatened as she inched closer to his face with the flashlight blinding him.
"I'm Ben Tennyson. I was supposed to have an appearance with the Glamrock Band, but I guess I overslept. I'm a special guest as this VIP Pass can testify," Ben stated as he felt around his neck, but he didn't see the VIP Pass he was given.
"Likely story. I did hear about a special guest appearance, but it doesn't mean you get to wander around here all you want after hours. I have enough trespassers to deal with," The officer retorted.
"I did have a pass, though! The service bot that gave me it said I had access to the backstage areas. Where did it go?!" Ben exclaimed as he frantically checked around his environment, but the officer's glare returned him to a cold standstill.
"Look, I have a little kid running around here when he's not supposed to be. It's bad enough I have to work overtime and check every inch of this massive place. I'll let you off with a warning, but I suggest your next place be the exit," The officer declared as she walked off leaving Ben to sigh and breathe a sweet sigh of relief.
Ben heard a small "psst" next to him as he saw the brunette child from before as the kid gestures him to follow. The teen hero nodded and quickly ran into Glamrock Freddy's room as the animatronic did an immediate scan of Ben's human form with his eyes using a blue filter.
"Hmmmmm….you are Ben Tennyson. You were scheduled to join us on stage," Freddy stated.
"Sorry about that. I was so tired after a long drive here that I kinda lost track of time and decided to have a nice rest," Ben apologized.
"Don't worry yourself about that. The show was cancelled after I seemed to encounter a malfunction. It is how I met young Gregory here," Freddy explained as his pupils dilated to the young boy.
"So, your name is Gregory?" Ben asked as he turned to see the boy.
"Yes, I'm a big fan. Thanks for distracting that guard. She's been after me all night," Gregory replied with a small smile.
"She did mention you were running around…are your parents around here somewhere?" Ben asked as he crossed his arms.
"I was wondering that as well. He's not in my database of profiles," Freddy added.
"Now's not the time for guessing games! We need to get me out of here before she comes back!" Gregory urged.
"He's right. Getting him out before the night protocols start up is crucial. I can take you both through the utility tunnels usually reserved for employees. It should provide a shortcut to the main exit," Freddy stated.
"Just be careful when I'm in there. I don't want to turn into a meat pretzel," Gregory warned as Freddy's stomach hatch began opening allowing the smaller boy to climb inside before it closed abruptly.
"Uh….he just crawled inside your stomach," Ben observed as he pointed a shaky finger at Freddy's stomach.
"It's the only place he can be safe on this journey. It will keep him hidden should be encounter Officer Vanessa again. You can hold onto my back," Freddy urged as he turned around for Ben to climb on.
Ben shrugged his shoulders as he got on the animatronic's back wrapping his thin legs around the waist as Freddy made his way towards the entrance to the tunnels. He opened the doors and proceeded towards the staircases walking all the way down into the darkness that awaited them all.
(Scene Break)
"Hello? Little boy? If you're down here, say something!" Vanessa's motherly voice echoed further down in the tunnels.
"She's down here! We have to go back!" Gregory urged.
"Not such a hot idea," Ben commented.
"Do not worry, Gregory. Even if we are spotted, you are safe with me. She would never suspect we are traveling together. However, we should still do our best to avoid her. If I am sent back to my room, we will never reach the lobby before midnight," Freddy explained.
"Not to mention, I might have arrested put on my permanent record," Ben added.
Freddy got to the bottom as most of their surroundings consisted of concrete walls and caution tape along with iron fencing. However, he spotted Ben's brunt wrist as the paper towel pieces started falling apart much to Ben's dismay.
"I feel you are broken," Freddy commented.
"It's just a little rope burn. We need to keep moving," Ben ensured.
"No, I feel something is wrong. I am taking you to the first aid station," Freddy stated as he started running in the right direction towards the basement infirmary.
Ben saw a small area fitted with a small changing room with a red curtain over it as well as a small boiler room section with a blue heater stuck behind some barricades. He sighed hopping off Freddy as he quickly ran into the changing room throwing the curtain behind him seeing multiple supplies contained within like medicine bottles and rolls of bandages. Ben took a roll and stuffed a white bandage over his burnt wrist to seal in the pressure. He stuck two rolls in his pockets just in case he would need more.
"Freddy! You're supposed to be on lockdown!" Vanessa's voice scolded as Ben peeked out seeing the blonde officer confront the animatronic.
"Officer Vanessa, I do not know how I got here," Freddy lied.
"Well, you totally blew it tonight, you know. Your system crashed and you ruined the show. Now, Parts and Services have you on reduced power and you were suppose to be charging. They said it was a safety precaution until they could look you over in the morning. Just another thing to deal with," Vanessa explained as she shook her head.
"I apologize," Freddy stated solemnly as Gregory covered his mouth so the officer wouldn't hear him inside the stomach.
"Okay, we are an hour away from closing up and the barriers are gonna go down any moment. Just get back to your room and stay there," Vanessa ordered as she poked the bot in the chest before walking off to check elsewhere.
The stomach hatch opened as Gregory plopped down on the cold stone floor as Ben exited his hiding place from behind the curtain.
"I told you she was after me," Gregory stated.
"The night protocols are about to kick in. We better get a move on," Ben urged.
"I promised I would keep you safe, Gregory. Ben is right. It is close to midnight and we still have a long way to go," Freddy stated.
Freddy, Gregory, and Ben decided to continue on foot as they ran through the tunnels seeing multiple ways to go through as Freddy took the lead showing them the way. Ben decided to break the ice while they traveled as Gregory took a slow jog to keep his stamina.
"So, what exactly are these tunnels for?" Ben asked.
"They connect to the variety of attractions around the Pizzaplex. Monty's Gator Golf, Roxy Raceway, Mazercise, Glamrock Gifts, the daycare, and much more. It's a more easier way for staff to travel rather than going through the normal routes up above," Freddy replied.
"We can go anywhere in the building?" Gregory asked as he raises an eyebrow.
"With high enough clearance, we can access anywhere we want," Freddy replied.
"Talk about living in the fast lane. This is the easiest transportation route I've ever seen," Ben stated.
"Guests are usually never allowed to access these tunnels, but…you two have a special situation that needs attending to," Freddy explained as he looked back at the two boys.
"I did have access if I didn't lose that VIP pass," Ben muttered.
Freddy started getting slower and slower as he trudged up the stairs breathing heavily as he had to hold his left paw on the wall to keep from falling down.
"You ok, dude?" Ben asked.
"I am terribly sorry. The recharge cycle had not finished when we began walking this way. You must continue without me for the meantime. Gregory, I'll guide both of you on your Fazwatch, but you mustn't stop for anything," Freddy replied.
Freddy forced himself forward as the trio stopped outside red double doors and a red pod with a white charging symbol that is embedded on the pod. Freddy ran over to the pod as the door slid open leaving smoke to cover Freddy in before he entered and proceeded to charge his battery for the next hour. He took one last look at Ben and Gregory before closing his eyes proceeding to shut down for the meantime.
"I guess it's you and me," Ben stated as he looked at his child partner.
"We should be fine. Your watch is working, right?" Gregory asked.
"It's having technical difficulties. Something tried breaking it earlier and it went into repair mode. Once it recharges, we are back in business, though," Ben replied as he looked at the Ultimatrix sternly.
"Something attacked it?" Gregory asked with a concerned look.
"It's not important. We need to get out of here," Ben urged.
Ben and Gregory nodded to each other as they started walking pushing open the red double doors hoping that whatever awaited them, it wasn't going to be dire for their chance to escape. This was only the beginning, but it was now up to them to get back out.
