"And you're telling me this chick did all this in a day," Johnny Lawrence asked skeptically as he clicked through the website. "Looks like some nerd shit."
Miguel rolled his eyes, "Yes, sensei she did. She said she'll keep it updated but needed you to answer some questions."
"Yeah, yeah, nerd shit..." Johnny waved his hand at his student, looking at the website in excitement.

"Thanks for having me over, Mr. and Mrs. LaRusso," Olivia said with a smile. "One can only eat so much cereal for dinner."
Amanda LaRusso chuckled at the girl as she ushered her inside the home, "You're welcomed over here anytime, Olivia. Anthony is upstairs playing...something if you want to go join him."
The girl called Olive chuckled evilly and hollered out to the younger boy, "Hey Ant, I'm coming to destroy your a-ah, uhm, butt in CoD again!" She started heading upstairs, nodding towards Samantha as she passed her.
"Nice friends, LaRusso."
Samantha rolled her eyes and ignored the other brunette as she went to complain to her mom about costumes and the dance.
...
"I totally kicked your ass, Reynolds!" Anthony exclaimed as they walked down the stairs. The kid pulled out his phone while they were walking and Olivia grabbed it from him before he could turn it on, "hey, what are you doing!?"
"You're going to trip one day looking at screens all the time, Ant," Olivia said as she put it in her pocket and stopped him from getting it. "Did you know that trees exist off a screen too?"
Anthony rolled his eyes as they made it to the kitchen, "Whatever, can I have my phone back now?"
Olivia pointed at her glasses, "See these? If you continue down the path you're on you'll be wearing a matching pair, buddy." The youngest LaRusso rolled his eyes and smirked evilly.
"Yeah, well, who needs a phone when I got my iPad," the kid commented as he grabbed his iPad and sat down on the couch. The only child looked at the kid in disbelief, "you've got an addiction, kid."
"Whatever."
"-I said I'd do it," Olivia heard from the kitchen followed by a loud clang.
"Do what?" Olivia asked as she grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and joined the crew at the island, "Open up your own plant store?"
"Been there, done that," Daniel replied, with a frown remembering his failed business endeavor, "nobody wants banzai's apparently."
Samantha LaRusso looked at the two incredulously, "Dad, you can't do that!"
The outsider looked at the three LaRusso's awkwardly, "Still not sure what's going on..."
"Look, Sam. Counselor Blatt and I go way back, I couldn't leave her hanging!" Mr. LaRusso told his daughter, "they really needed help for the school dance and I had to."
Olivia Reynolds snickered at the realization. 'Oh how glorious this is. I can't wait to see the drama from perfect Sam's life. How dare her dad care about his daughter.'
"That's awesome, Mr. LaRusso. You could be a ghost!"
"Just like a ghost! I'll be a ghost," Danny nodded at his neighbour and smiled at his daughter helpfully.
"Ghosts are lame," Sam replied bitterly, crossing her arms
"No, I-I'm not talking about a costume, it's just an expression," Daniel LaRusso tried to explain to his daughter while Olivia hid a smile behind her water consumption. The dad gave her a look that said 'not helping' before returning to his small family dispute.
Sam sighed in resignation, hands on her face, "Just...just promise me you won't embarrass me."
"I promise."
Sam rolled her eyes and headed upstairs. There were a couple moments of awkward silence before Olivia cleared her throat and announced her departure to the family.
"Thanks for dinner again, LaRussos," she smiled gratefully. "I really appreciate you taking care of me while dad goes on his trips."
Amanda gave the girl a firm hug before she left the front door, "Of course, sweetie. You are always welcomed over here."
Daniel joined his wife and gave the young girl a side hug, "We're just a few steps away, kiddo. If you wanted to sleep here-"
"I know, I know, but that would disrupt my routine," she grinned. "It's all in the routine, Mr. LaRusso."
The mentioned LaRusso chuckled at her joke and wished her a good night. Daniel made sure to watch the young Reynolds enter the home safely before sending a text to her dad that she was home safe, fed, and socialized.
...
Olivia looked down at her phone to see a text from Eli.
Eli: Hey, i need help with a slayer quest, can you get on
As the brunette smiled and started to type out her response, a call from Miguel popped up and she quickly answered it.
"Hey Twiggy, what's up?" She plopped onto her computer chair and put her legs up on the desk. Grabbing a Blow Pop from her candy stash, "did your dance teacher like the website?"
"He's my sensei, firstly, and yes he did! But I was kind of wondering if you had some time to help me with these Chemistry problems?"
Olivia rolled her eyes, "Of course, but you gotta help with my essay in Spanish. I suck at writing in the language. Meet me in discord so I can share screens, cool?"
Miguel agreed and logged on, joining her in video chat.
The young girl smiled at the boy as he popped up on our screen, "hey, V."
"Hey Twiggy, so what's your stench?" She asked over her lollipop.
Miguel rolled his eyes as he responded with distaste, "Chemical equilibrium."
Olive nodded in sympathy, "yeah, totally dude. Show me what you got so far."

Eli: Hey, i need help with a slayer quest, can you get on
Read: 7:23 pm
The young boy looked at his phone.
11:55 pm.
'Weird, usually she answers sooner than that. She loves RS3,' Eli thought, concerned. The nerd hopped onto Discord, noticing that she was online. Looking in their friend server, she noticed her and Miguel in the 'fat chat' voice chat. Frowning he felt his stomach drop a little.
He hesitated and thought about joining the chat before closing down his computer.
'Who would want to be with a freak like me anyways?'
His eyes filled with tears as he laid down and fell asleep.

"Hey, hobbit. My mom wants to know if you can take me home from the dance tomorrow," Demetri said to his petite friend.
With a roll of her eyes, she took a gusher from his pile and responded, "sure, you too Eli?"
Eli was more quiet than usual, but still nodded his head. Thinking nothing of her usually quiet friend, Olivia responded, "we can all go together if you want to come to my house after school and get ready. My dad's out of town, so it would be nice to not have a quiet home."
"I'll ask my mom, but I'm sure she's cool with it. Do you guys want to spend the night after?" Demetri responded, throwing the empty Gushers pack into the trash.
Olivia shook her head, "It's a school night, I gotta keep the routine. What about you Eli?"
The quiet boy looked at his friends, "I'll ask my mom."
"Great, make sure you bring your costumes tomorrow. I'm not going back to your houses after school and waste time."

Olivia blasted Taylor Swift in her bathroom as she finished her makeup in the mirror. The boys were in her room playing on the Switch, complaining every now and again about her choice in music.
The song choice was mostly due to their complaints.
"All I'm saying is you can be a real girl sometimes, Liv." Olivia rolled her eyes as she finished her mascara.
"Wow, maybe that's because I am one? Crazy how that is," she yelled back to the offender.
"You could at least turn on something else," Eli piped up, getting tired of the old country singer's voice, "literally anything else..."
Olivia rolled her eyes and stopped her music, "I'm done anyways, losers."
She stepped out in the room and walked over to grab her wallet, "come on we gotta get going before we're late."
Demetri and Eli stayed focused on the TV pushing each other as they hollered to make it to the end. At the last second, Eli shoved his friend onto the bean bag chair and won. Throwing his fist in the air he hollered out in success and jumped up from the hype.
"Hey, that's not fair! You can't just-"
"Demi, you literally did that last weekend to win Mario Kart. Let the boy enjoy his win and let's go!" Olivia cried out, turning the TV off. She started pushing the two out of her room and they grumbled at being shoved around.
Eli grinned smugly at his long time best friend who just rolled his eyes, shoving the girl's hands off of him.
"Fine, fine, we're going! If you hadn't spent all that time hiding your hideous face- ow!" Demetri cried out as his arm was smacked, "You crazy troll!"

Back at school, the three climbed out of her Honda Civic and headed to the dance.
"You know, I kinda feel bad for not inviting Miguel over to ride with us," Olivia started casually, looking for the skinny male.
Eli felt a little put out at watching his friend search for their newest addition. They hadn't really gone past hanging out at school. The Spanish-speaker was always busy with his Karate or whatever.
Demetri was the first to spot the fourth, "Ohh, skeleton. Classic. Nice." Olivia gave the newbie a quick hug in greeting as they exchanged pleasantries.
"Thanks, I like your sorcerer costume," Miguel told Demetri kindly.
"Sorcerer? Please," Demetri scoffed in dissatisfaction. "I'm a necromancer. What? Didn't you see 'The Amulet'?" He held up the necklace in emphasis, shaking his head at the foolishness.
Miguel nodded awkwardly and looked at Eli, "so are you a regular doctor or...?"
Eli took a nervous glance around, thankful to be able to hide his face. Halloween has always been his favorite day, having an excuse to hide his deformity from the world with the fantastic invention that is masks.
"Plastic surgeon," the shy kid responded quietly. "I fix lips."
Olivia looked at her friend in sadness, before making eye contact with the poor kid who was definitely feeling more awkward than ever. "I bet you can't guess what I am!"
Miguel playfully narrowed his eyes and carefully scanned her outfit. To Eli, it looked like he was checking her out and had to turn away as he fidgeted with his gloves.
"A cowboy?"
The brunette pushed her friend. "ยกPonte trucho!" She exclaimed, pushing his shoulder with a giggle. Taking a step back he held his hands up in mock defense.
"Alright alright, Pokemon Trainer V, no need to get so violent!"
"This is the most...violent crime I've ever had to witness."
"She's become more violent, acting out in class."
"You need to cool it with the violence, Miss Reynolds. Or else."
Miguel saw the far away look in his friend's eyes and changed the subject, "wanna go in, see what spooks awaits us?"
Demetri and Eli led the way as Miguel walked next to Olivia.
Eli only glanced back at the pair once and decided he didn't need to see anymore.
...
"Mr. LaRusso!" Olivia called over to the adult male happily, "what no ghost costume? No gi?" She joked casually with him and grinned.
Danny LaRusso chuckled and gave the girl a side hug, "no no, not today, squirt. Just doing my duty."
Counselor Blatt made herself known saying, "yes, thank you again for volunteering, Mr. LaRusso. It's so kind of you to reach out like that."
The teenager in the conversation looked at Danny with an eyebrow raised, while Danny chuckled awkwardly.
"Yeah, no problem!" He leaned down and whispered to Olivia, "20 bucks to not say anything to Sam."
Olivia didn't need the money, but she nodded back, "don't worry, your secret is safe with me."
The young girl walked off to go back to join her friends, chuckling at the interaction.
...
"Why don't we invite the Dragon Queens to dance?"
"Slow your roll, bones. We have all night."
Their brunette friend popped in between the two and pointedly said, "looks like you lost one to Doctor Who, the eleventh version I might add. Looks like you're going to have to compete with his sonic screwdriver." She snickered at her own joke, taking a sip of her water.
"Yeah, yeah. You're not dancing with anyone either, princess peach," the necromancer snarked back.
"As far as I'm concerned, I am about to go through those doors and hide in the locker room for 15 minutes. This music is making me go insane," Olivia yelled out in exaggeration as she headed to the doors to the hallway.
The boys watched the skirt clad friend left the gym. Once the doors closed they all looked at each other.
"I gotta use the bathroom."
"Y-yeah, me too."
"This punch is killer..."
...
The Pokemon trainer grunted as she was knocked into the lockers by the two guys in front of her.
"What are you up to, cripple?" the bigger one snapped at her with a grin, "thought you could just walk past without saying hi to your friends?"
"Y-y-you're n-n-not-"
"Y-y-you're n-n-n-not, oh shut up, retard," the other one said, knocking her to the ground, "god, no wonder you hang out with that freak. You're just like him." He roughly grabbed her arm and pulled up her sleeve.
"Ewww gross, man. Look at this scar," he motioned his buddy over, "isn't that just disgusting? What kind of guy would want to be with that?"
They snickered over the tears that started to pool in the young girl's eyes, "awe, is the wittle nerd about to cry?"
"I know, hold her arm, Brucks." Brucks grabbed the girl's arm while his friend pulled out a pocket knife. In fear, Olivia started shaking as she stared wide-eyed at the metal.
"Holy shit, he has a knife."
"I can take him down, Rachael, trust me!"
"O-oh my god, s-stop it! Let her GO, you MONSTER!"
While Butch held her arm, his friend cut the sleeves off of her shirt, "there. Now everyone can see what a freak you are!"
Olivia was stuck in a panic attack as the two pushed her to the ground and threw her sleeves in the trash. She curled up next to the lockers as the two laughed off to cause more mayhem.
'B-breathe. In...out...in...out... 1, 2, 3, 4... FUCK.' The teenager let out a small sob as she forced herself to sit up and count things around her. She focused on the sounds of the bass from inside the gym and slowly got up. Taking a glance at her arm she choked another sob.
Olivia only wore sleeves and jackets for a reason, to hide her arm from the world. It was a scar of weakness, of pain and misery.
A tattoo to show the world just how much of a freak she really was.
Balling up her fists, her despair turn into rage. She punched the locker in front of her repeatedly, letting out small shouts and sobs as she dented the metal. When she finally finished, the metal was caved in and her knuckles were bruised and bloodied. The adrenaline dulled the pain, but she welcomed it.
The pain reminded her that she was alive.
"Woah." Olivia quickly turned around, wide-eyed and breathing heavy to see a blond adult male staring at her with a shocked expression, "chick can pack a punch."
Olivia swallowed thickly, thinking he was a teacher or chaperone, "I-I'm so s-sorry, sir. I-I just, uhm, I w-was, uh..."
The adult in front of her frowned, "what the, don't apologize for that shit. That," he pointed at the locker, "was freaking badass." He looked her up and down with narrowed eyes.
The teenager felt a little uncomfortable at the stair, "so, I'm not in trouble?"
Johnny snorted and walked closer to the girl, "fuck no. I ain't no snitch." He grabbed her hands, making her hiss, "this is punishment enough I'd say." He chuckled at her hiss.
Olivia's eyes narrowed as she took her hands away from the strange man, "who the he-"
He handed her a flier and cut her off, "go wash your hands off and get some ice on them as soon as you can. Nothin' is broken, but you want to keep those cuts cleaned." He started walking away, his back to the girl, "nice form, but you need to work on that stance."
Olivia stared in disbelief as he turned the hallway.
"What the fuck."
...
With the flier shoved in her pocket, knuckles cleaned, Olivia hesitated at the door to the gym. The girl ended up fishing her sleeves out of the trashcan to try to put them on and hide her scar, but instead used them as bandaging for her knuckles.
The nerd was scared of going into the gym and facing the bullying that would surely come her way. Olivia saw what Yasmine did to Aisha. What would she do to her when the school saw what made her a freak?
Olivia decided to just text her friends that she would wait in the car for them, no rush. They would stay until they were ready and they could make a clean getaway. While she pulled out her phone, she was stopped by a voice.
"Olive?" The brunette's eyes widened as she turned quickly towards her friend.
"E-Eli?" She tried to hide her hands behind her, but it was too late.
Eli grabbed his friend's wrists in concern, "what happened?"
"W-was it Kyler and his goons?" He asked quietly, inspecting the fresh blood stains on the fabric. His eyes then took in the long scar that went shoulder to wrist on her arm and went quiet.
Noticing his gaze change, Olivia tried to hide her arm behind her in shame, "I-I know, it's freaky...I'm a freak." She looked down as tears built in her eyes, preparing for the rejection of her best friend.
Eli looked at her for a moment before anger built up in his stomach. How dare she call herself a freak when he existed. His fists clinched and he scoffed at his friend, "you? A freak?"
Looking up in confusion, she wondered where his anger came from, "Eli? What-"
The lip surgeon rolled his eyes and shoved her lightly, "You can hide your scar. You always hide your scar." He stepped closer to her and the smaller girl took a step back, hitting the wall in surprise. "You stand there and call yourself a freak when you tell me that my scar doesn't make me a freak."
Eli ripped down his mask and pointed at his scar.
"You said this makes me Eli Moskowitz. Not a freak," he snapped. "But now you say that your scar makes you a freak?!"
"W-wait... Eli I didn't mean..."
"So which is it, Olivia? Does this scar make us freaks, or not?" Eli breathed heavily, eyes filled with an anger he had never felt before. Olivia couldn't respond.
She never had seen Eli like this before and didn't know what to say.
"I...I..." She trailed off before looking away, not wanting to say what she was thinking.
Eli's breath hitched as he realized her answer.
"Hypocrite," He whispered weakly and shook his head, losing all the rage he once had. Eli walked back into the gym to find Demetri.
Alone again, Olivia found herself with tears down her face, throbbing knuckles, and shame on her face.
"You ruin every relationship you're in, you freak!"
Instead of going back to the party, she walked to her car and trembled in the seat. Opening up her group text, she wrote a message.
Olive: Hey y'all, im ready wheneve u are. Im just chilling in the car enjoying being alone, ahaha :)
Demetri: Got it, hobbit. dr, moskowitz and I are gonna hang out for 30 more
Sending a thumbs up, she closed her eyes and leant back in her seat. Olivia ended up missing the Pontiac next to her being loaded up with a bruised and bloody Miguel Diaz, too caught up in her own thoughts.
