A/N: Jebus! Who would have thought that this reaction fanfic story would gain a bit of followers upon its first publishing chapter? Anyway, I hope you enjoy this next instalment of the reaction of the Madness Combat Series. I did not know that it would be that enjoyable to do. I got inspired by doing this from an Author who is longer on this site called CeruleanLancer (or by his former name RedSpartan). Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Disclaimer: I do not own Akame Ga Kill and Madness Combat. They belong to their rightful and respectful owners.
"Madness Combat 2: Redeemer" appears on the black screen and the word 'Redeemer' is coloured grey
"Redeemer, huh?" Mine uttered as she saw that word into the screen.
Najenda just scoffed at what she saw. "Hank has got no redeeming qualities after pulling that stunt of his last time. In a public park of all places." That would have gotten Night Raid's attention if he was in their world.
"I would still be precautious about him." Dorothea then warned. Her reason for saying that is because she suddenly had a thought that Hank could defeat all of them. Even though he will have a difficult time in defeating them.
"Yeah, whatever," Lubbock said, ignoring what the former alchemist had just commented.
"Hank does not stand a chance against an Imperial Arm. Especially if it's an armour type." Tatsumi countered the small doctor's warning.
"Just watch the episode! I want to see more violence!" Esdeath reminded them and everyone then face to look at the screen.
THERE WAS A MAN WHO SOUGHT THE SHERIFF
"Sheriff?" Leone and Sheele uttered as they knew that he was some sort of new character.
"He is one of the antagonists of the Madness Combat series." Susanoo informed the two and everyone as he read his profile page in the guidebook.
It took them a while for everyone to process what the organic Imperial Arm had to say before Seyru then spoke in a bit of serious in her tone. "As in some sort of enforcer? How come he is an antagonist?"
"Perhaps we may know when we watch this episode." Run told her before everyone then resumed watching the episode. All of them saw in the black screen:
SOMEWHERE IN NEVADA…
Again, Leone blinked at that last word. She and the others had never heard that word before. "Nevada? What is that? Some sort of location?"
As the blonde ask that question, everyone then thought of that word. Najenda had her own answer for that. "Maybe it is some sort of location within this series." Susanoo had to agree with her as he looked in the guidebook of Madness Combat.
"Man, I wish Delta and Fives were here to tell us more about Madness Combat." Lubbock sighed as he was starting to get a headache from all of this. He had to admit that it was hard not having the two around.
Tatsumi had to agree with Lubbock on his statement. "Yeah, it would be easier. But they did say that it is going to take a few days to collect a lot of data." He had to admit that Earth and the entirety of where the two originated did have a lot of events. Perhaps it would be wiser if they collect enough for Night Raid to understand what events had transpired.
"Can we please just watch this episode without any more disturbance?!" Esdeath warned the two as she really wanted to see more violence.
The two went silent and soon everyone then resumed watching the episode.
*Madness Combat 2 Soundtrack: Ambient Metal Starts playing*
The screen shows a guardsman in the side of a building. Holding a Tec-9 for his weapon and was smoking.
Najenda just sighed as she really wanted to smoke at this point. But something tells her that people like her might receive a cruel and unfortunate demise.
As the guardsman was busy, Hank then peeped out a little from the corner of the building. After a few seconds, he then stealthily approaches the guard from behind, who was walking away, and strangles him with a fiber wire.
Seeing this made Lubbock look at his Imperial Arm, Cross Tails. He then noted it in his head as he was going to use that same technique in future assassination missions. "I think I better make a note of that."
Disposing the body by dragging it in the sewer after killing the guard, Hank then picks up the gun and begins to move. The screen quickly turned to black before Hank can been seen hiding behind a wall. Another guard is present, and a ladder can be seen as well.
"Is he going to use that wire thing again?" Lubbock wondered as he found that thing to be quite useful.
Akame just shook her head to the wire user's question. "I doubt he would use it. Not now, of course."
Hank then pulls out a PPK, as well as a silencer to attach it to the gun. He then proceeds to shoot the unaware guard two times. Once in the body and once in the head. Some blood was splattered against the wall and a single bullet hole is present as well.
Seeing the blood made Esdeath smile at this. "Finally. After last episode of not seeing blood being spilled, it is finally good to see some."
Najenda saw the reaction of her former colleague. Despite the two's history, she had to admit that seeing her react to this was alright. It was a weird word for her to say, but she did not mind that. "As usually, this is Esdeath's type of series. I wonder how we would endure her constantly being aroused and moaning while watching this?" That thought just made her shudder.
Climbing up the ladder and ducking behind a wall in a small structure within the room, Hank shots one on the guards in the head. The other guard noticed it and tried to run off to warn the others, Unfortunately, he didn't get to do it as he was too shot in the head by Hank.
As they were watching, Wave then pointed something out. "Is it me, or are these guards seem like they are bad at doing their jobs compared to the ones back in the Capital?"
Some had to agree with him as he did make a point. These guards in Madness Combat does seem to be incompetent in doing their jobs. "They need to do more training and more disciplined." Najenda said. If she was in that world, then she would give them harsh military exercises.
"Just watch this, Najenda." Esdeath told her former colleague. She did not mind their lack of discipline. The reason? They were weak and Hank had every right to kill them.
Disassembling the silencer pistol and putting them back in his pocket, Hank then pulls out the 'Sheriff Tracker' and shows that his target was just thirty yards away from his current position.
"Huh, that would be useful for our missions." Lubbock said. That made Stylish made a sketch on that hand-held device.
Leone sighed at the green haired-boy's statement. "If only Delta was here."
"Do not worry," Dorothea spoke. "Delta said that it would only take a few days, or perhaps even weeks, to gather the information needed."
The former alchemist did bring a good point. "I think that Delta might take a long time." Run spoke. "But at least we are watching something that will take our minds off from Halo." Everyone agreed to what the former teacher has said as it was a breather of looking at another series.
Putting the track back in his pocket, Hank then reassembles his silencer pistol and proceeded to go to where his target was. The scene then quickly changes to Hank hiding in a side of a building. He then pushes one of the guards towards the two, knocking him out cold towards the ground. Quickly dispersing the two by shooting them in the back and the head, Hank then loads another round into his silencer pistol.
"Always remember to bring extra ammunition when needed." Mine said as she was too a gun user. At least, she only needed to maintain her Imperial Arm. Perhaps it would be a good time to try another weapon other than Pumpkin in case if it needs to be repaired.
As this was going on, Akame could not help but sense that it was some sort of assassination. That raises a question. Why would Hank target an authority figure like the Sheriff? That would be something she needs answer to. "I need to read through the guidebook to find the reason why?"
The scenes then change to Hank walking and stopping on a spot within the building. Pulling out the Sheriff tracker from his pocket, he sees that he was above his target.
"Oh, so we're getting to the exciting part?" Esdeath sarcastically said as she could not wait to see more action.
Leone chuckled at the sadist's question as she finds this to be quite funny. "Relax, Ice Queen. I'm sure we about to see some more action."
Najenda was now observing what was about to come. Despite Hank being a monster in combat, he had some good tactics that might be useful for every member in Night Raid to learn. "Okay. Let's see what Hank could do this time."
Hank then proceeds to put the Sheriff Tracker back into his pocket and pulls out a grenade. He then pulls then pin out of it and the screen briefly cuts to black.
*Changes to Madness Combat 2 Soundtrack: Main Theme*
The screen then shifts to where the Sheriff, who was wearing a bowler hat, who was looking at the wanted posters of Hank in the side of the room with four guards present. A hole is then created due to the grenade and Hank then drops in. Knowing that he was here, the Sheriff then shoots at him with a pistol before running to safety. But Hank avoids it, and it went to one of the guards instead. A bit of blood was splattered into the wall.
"Hank has got some reflexes." Kurome uttered as she finished one of her cookies.
Mine had a blank expression on her face upon seeing what had happened. "Did the Sheriff really shoot one of his guards?"
"It was unintentional, Mine." Akame told her friend.
Esdeath thought indifferently as she was saying it in her head. "It does not matter. This Sheriff is weak due to him running away. Which only makes It more fun for me to watch more carnage happening."
Hank then get back up to his feet, where he received multiple punches into his back. Unaffected by this, he retaliates by punching back and knocking the guard out. Another guard goes to where he was at with a police baton, only to be disarmed by Hank and is knocked unconscious.
"That's quite a useful weapon." Lubbock pointed out.
Seyru just signed at this. "We did kinda had that kind of weapon back in the Imperial Police." She then remembered what they look like back at her time in that unit.
The guard then blocks Hank's attack but got knocked out as he hit his head. Hank then throws the baton into another guard's face and punches another one. He was sent flying into the wall. Another guard who entered the room tried to attack Hank from behind, but this resulted in him being thrown across the wall.
Leone was staring at awe in seeing this. She had to admit that it was a good technique to copy from for her to improve on her hand-to-hand skill. "Damn. Who would have thought that Hank was this strong?"
"He would be a fun opponent to fight." Esdeath commented. She could not wait to fight him one day if he is ever in this world.
"Doubt that would happen." Everyone then thought in their heads.
Hank then proceeds to pull out his pistol and shoots one of the guards behind him. Another guard then tried to jump onto him, but Hank uppercuts him before he was sent down towards the ground. Unfortunately, this would make Hank go off guard as he was pushed down by a recent arrival guard who was wielding a police baton. He immediately got back up and fired multiple shots at him, only to block it with his weapon. Thinking that it would be the perfect moment to strike back, the guard then swings his baton at him. Unfortunately, this resulted in being shot in the middle of his head. Hank quickly turns around and punches another guard towards the wall before shooting him in the chest.
"Wow. Hank is showing no remorse in killing his enemies." Leone pointed out as she took a little sip from her mug that was filled with alcohol.
Akame just told her friend I her usual stoic tone and facial expression, "This series is about madness, Leone."
This made the blonde sighed at her best friend's comment. "Yeah. I figured it out by now."
Another guard comes running to the room and Hank tries to fire at it. Only to hear the sound of clicking, which made him throw his emptied pistol at him. Hank manages to duck in time as another guard with a shotgun arrives. Knowing that he is unarmed, Hank then uses the recently knocked out guard as a meat shield, which resulted in his head taking the brunt of the shot. He immediately throws a short sword at the Shotgun user's face.
Seeing Hank using a person as a meat shield raises some questions to the members of Night Raid. They were aware that using people as a shield is amoral. "Okay, I am glad that none of us had to resort to use such a thing." Tatsumi commented after seeing this. He hoped that none of them had did such a thing.
Hank was about to grab the shotgun but was interrupted when another grunt appears through the right door. Quickly dealing with him by finishing him with an uppercut, Hank grabs the shotgun and shoots three guards. One with a baton, one unarmed, and one dual-wielding two knives. The area became a bit bloody, which Hank did not notice and moves onto the next room. Unknown to him, Jesus was trailing behind him.
"Hold on…" Chelsea said as she looked at the familiar person. It took her a bit until she realised who this person was. "Is that Jesus?!"
As everyone hear the trickster saying that all had the same thought. "Hey yeah. It was Jesus." Lubbock immediately remembered him from the last episode.
"How the hell is he alive?!" Mine asked in a confused and surprised tone while making the same facial expression. To her, Madness Combat was starting to become quite confusing for her.
"Perhaps, it has to do with that ring thingy on his head." Leone guessed as she was referring to the Halo. Now that everyone thought about what was on top of Jesus's head, it kinda made perfect sense.
The scene then cuts to Hank, who was in another room. The Sheriff, who was in the same room, quickly turned around and fired a shot at him, which he completely misses by shotting at the wall.
Mine pinched the bridge of her nose upon seeing this. "Really?! You missed your shot!"
Everyone soon remembers that Mine was a 'Sniper Genius'. Of course she would be pissed at seeing this. "Sheesh. Just calm down Mine." Kurome told her.
She got a glare from the pinkette in response. "As if."
Hank soon fires a shotgun around to a guard that was rushing towards him. He was about to shoot another round but was out of ammunition. Throwing the emptied shotgun away and knocking three more guards, he then uppercuts one more. Just then, three more guards arrive. Two being normal and one being a clown, who was holding an M16 with a grenade launcher as an attachment.
Seeing the clown made Run shake his head and closes his eyes. This was not the perfect time of seeing those things right now and did not want to ruin the mood for everyone. Especially his Leader. "A clown? Your serious right now?" He said with a bit of venom.
Sheele saw how he reacted and immediately comforted him. "Relax Run. This clown may not as bad as we are seeing right now."
Wave agreed with the purple-haired airhead. "Yeah, and this may be some random clown." He hoped that he wasn't like Champ.
"I highly doubt that." Najenda said. She can tell that this clown could be perhaps, or even worse than that infamous clown-killer.
"I think I would have to agree with you there." Dorothea said as she felt something off-putting about him.
Susanoo was looking at the Clown's bio and informed everyone about it. "The Clown goes by the name of Tricky."
"Tricky, huh?" Everyone thought and found that name to be hilarious. But for some reason, everyone was stating to be precautious of this clown. Maybe Najenda was right. He might be worse than the Clown from Wild Hunt.
Quickly dealing with the two guards by knocking them out, Hank quickly yanks the rifle off of Tricky, Hank proceeds to fire multiple rounds towards his stomach.
Seeing this made Sheele poke to the former teacher. "He's gone, Run."
Run then opened his eyes and saw that the clown was indeed dead. "Okay. But I think I need some talking about the topic." That was to cope with his personal history with clowns.
With the clown now dead, Jesus walks into the scene and force-pushes Hank towards the other side of the wall. Then, he resurrects eight dead grunts into zombies. Going up and seeing the zombies, Hank then fires a grenade round towards the undead who were about to run towards him and soon most but three were dead.
Stylish quickly made a sketch copy of the rifle. That might be useful for the Revolutionary Army to acquire such weaponry.
"Talk about an explosive response." Najenda commented as she saw this. This time, no one paid attention as they were all busy watching the episode.
Quickly dealing with them, Jesus then retreats as it was his only option. Hank then proceeds to fight two more grunts with his bare fists and another two. Seeing another pair wielding guns, Hank then pulls out the Tec-9 that he got from earlier to deal with them and another behind him. Hank then wipes a sweat from his forehead after dealing with all of the enemies, he proceeds to make his way through the elevator.
"Man, he is one hell of a one-person army." Lubbock uttered in shock. "Perhaps he can rack up as many kills like Akame here."
The girl just ignored his comment as she ate her meat. Seeing this made everyone chuckle at this, "Of course she wouldn't mind about it."
The scene then shifts to Hank being in an elevator. He presses the button, and it immediately goes upwards. As it was doing so, two guards then dropped down on top of the elevator. One seems to have a metal mask and was holding a plasma cutter. He quickly makes a hole on the roof.
"He is about to get himself killed." Chelsea commented as she didn't have a lollipop on her mouth. Her reason? She might react to something within the episode that might drop the candy onto the floor. It was a pain for her, and that is why she did not have a lollipop in her mouth.
Hank then proceeds to fire his Tec-9 to the guard who created the hole, who then proceeds to drop dead on the elevator floor.
The Trickster knew that she was right. This made her smirk in a smug manner. "Called it."
Mine looked at her as if she was not surprised by it. "It was not predictable, Chelsea."
Another guard then drops in and pulls out a grenade. He releases the pin and hopes it would be enough to kill Hank. Unaware about his quick thinking, the protagonist then tosses it back to the hole and manages to kill the two.
Esdeath just shook her head in disappointment. Seeing the guards being quite incompetent made her shiver in disgust. "They really need more discipline training."
Najenda would have to agree with her former colleague. "They do indeed. They seem more incompetent than any of the new Imperial Conscripts."
Killing two more guards, with the last one being beaten up by Hank's fists, he climbed through the hole to avoid any enemies firing at him. Picking up another Shotgun, Hank waits patiently for the shots to be fired. It happened, and two guards arrived. He shoots one of them in the before ducking down to avoid another shot from a guard, who was wielding a rifle. Knowing that he cannot directly shoot them, Hank thought of the next best thing. That was to shoots the cable, which sent them plummeting towards the ground, killing them all. Hank can be seen holding one of the cables as he saw the elevator falling.
"Using your surrounding to you advantage it quite useful." Akame spoke as she finished eating her meat. "I like what you did, Hank." Now, she was starting to get a bit precautious around Hank.
Everyone just looked at her and was thinking about what she had just commented. All of them came to the same idea. "Did she really praise Hank for that?"
Climbing upwards on the cable, the scene then cuts two guards with melee weapons waiting for Hank and a poster with a grunt on can be seen. It shows the two words. 'Rich' and 'Employee of the month.'
Seeing the posters made Night Raid think about what organization that this person 'Rich' was working for. "Hold on, Employee of the Month?" Wave said as he was confused just by seeing this.
"Might have been for good work." Kurome guessed as she nibbled another fresh cookie.
As she said that, Tatsumi then asked everyone in the room, "What organization does he work for exactly?"
Susanoo could answer the assassin's question as he looked at a certain page. "The Agency Against Hank Wimbleton, or AAHW for simpler terms."
Hearing the organization's name made some of them laugh. Leone was one of them. "Agency Against Hank Wimbleton? That's frickin' hilarious!"
Lubbock felt the same way as her. "I know! Just thinking about it name pales to comparison like Night Raid, Jaegers, Wild Hunt, and hell even the Four Rakshasa Demons!"
"I know!" She replied back.
Mine just looked at the two with a blank expression on her face. "I know it sounds funny. But can you two laughing and watch the show!" The duo eventually calmed down and then look back at the screen to continue watching the episode.
He immediately climbs out where the elevator was supposed to be and quickly dealt with the other one. Two more arrived to face the psychopath. Hank throws a baton towards one of the guard's faces and knocks another one out. Another pair, coming from each side, arrives. Hank then rips one of the knockout guards' head clean off and tosses it to the guard on his left.
Chelsea's right eye started to twitch upon seeing this. She was not happy what Hank had done. "Okay, did he really have to result into ripping peoples' heads off?!"
Everyone saw how Chelsea reacted. None of them saw how triggered she was. Najenda just eyed at the Tricker, wondering what could have possibly caused her to snap. "Are you okay?"
Chelsea took a breather to calm herself. She manages to cool herself and she then answered, "Sorry. It's just that seeing Hank ripping heads off somehow triggers me." Now all thought about what she had just said. They cannot find the exact answer why she snaps upon seeing the heads ripped off. Maybe it was something that has to do with her being decapitated?
It was not the perfect time to think about it as they saw that there was only just a minute and twelve seconds left until this episode ends. They all turned to the screen to finish watching this episode of Madness Combat.
Quickly dealing with the final two, Hank pulls out his shotgun and shoots another shotgun user through the body. Picking the other shotgun up and now dual-wielding it, Hank shoots another guard with one of them before he proceeds to move on to the next room.
Seeing Hank dual-wielding the shotguns brought an idea to Leone. Since she was a kind of person that likes to kill her enemies close and personal, she like how she would be wielding them. Then again, perhaps using her fists would be better. "Shotguns are good, but I prefer using my fists instead."
In the next room, Hank swiftly disposes all of his enemies. Killing all seven expect one, Hank then questions the last remining guard to where the Sheriff was. Not knowing where the Sheriff was exactly, Hank started to get impatient and threatens to kill him. In a fit of panic, the grunt the pointed to the middle of the door. Getting his answers, Hank proceeds to knock him out instead of killing.
Witness what Hank had just did was a breather for everyone. They did not expect that he would show some mercy.
"Phew. And I thought he would have killed him instead." Tatsumi said. He was glad that despite Hank being a relentless killer, he was glad that Hank did not resort into killing him.
"Someone needs to work on that," Najenda commented as she was referring to Esdeath. The sadist, of course, just ignored her.
"Hank should really kill the Sheriff at this point." Run complained.
"Or he might get himself killed." Seyru responded back to her teammate. She was unaware that she would be right at the end of the episode.
Moving to the next room, Hank quickly avoid the two guard's firing. He then opens an air vent, where he shoots the two in the head. Dropping down and firing another shot at another guard, Hank knocks another grunt with his emptied shotgun. He then proceeds to go to a hand-to-hand battle with another and simply wins by knocking him out and tosses him to where the new two guards had arrived from. Hank proceeds to pick up the two PPKs and begins to shoot the remaining six guards. The last he had to duck to avoid cover and goes to where the Sheriff was at. Before the scene changes, Jesus is then seen holding a Deagle.
Seeing what Jesus is holding could only mean one thing for Night Raid. "Looks like someone's here for payback." Mine spoke while sitting next to Tatsumi. She was referring to the last episode where Hank managed to kill Jesus.
Chelsea had to add something to the pinkette's comment. "More like Hank getting his comeuppance from last time."
"Yeah. It seems like that is about to happen." Seyru agreed with the two as she felt like they were right. Then then looked at Koro," Wouldn't you agree?"
"Woof!" He responded back to her.
The scene then cuts to the final room, where the Sheriff immediately ducks behind a desk to let his two guard deal with Hank. That did not end well as said person had quickly and swiftly dealt with the two. Knowing that he was here, the Sheriff then pulls out his gun to shoot at him but was quickly disarmed as his gun was shot out of his hand. Knowing that he was nowhere to go, Hank points his pistols at him, which made him sweat drop and begins to shake uncontrollably as he was pinned against the wall. Unknown to Hank, a Halo could be seen behind him.
Everyone just didn't utter a single word. As such as they want to react to this scene, they knew that Hank didn't bother looking behind him. All they know was that in an instant…
*Madness Combat 2 Soundtrack: Main Theme Ends*
Jesus then shoots Hank in the head. The now dead protagonist then drops to the ground while blood was spilled to the ground. As Hank was now dead, the screen turns black without making a sound. A text appears then on screen, which read:
MORAL: DON'T TRY TO SHOOT THE SHERIFF.
BODY COUNT: 80
As the episode ended, many members of Night Raid read had the expression that they were not surprised by this. "Hank had it coming. I am not surprised by this." Mine commented after witnessing his death.
"But damn, 80 kills as he was about to kill his target, which only got his opportunity away? I'm going to say that it's unlucky." Lubbock also commented.
"At least justice will be served to him in the afterlife." Seyru said in a bit of happiness.
Akame doubted what the former police girl had just said. " I do not think the series ended there."
All dawned their eyes at her. Kurome asked her sister, "What do you mean by that?"
That was easy to answer for her. "If he died, then the series would have ended right there. But I could see that there are more episodes to watch."
Like what she said, everyone then faced the screen and saw that it displayed the text saying, 'PLAY NEXT EPISODE.' Interesting.
"Maybe one more episode might be alright." Bulat complicated as he already made some notes from watching the series.
"Yeah, you may be right." Run agreed with the former Incursio user. "I hope I do not see that Tricky clown again." Despite his personal history with them, that cannot allow him to intervene his teammates' entertainment in watching the Madness Combat series
Cosmina would have to agree with him. "Yeah. I have a feeling that he—"
"'Maybe worse than Champ' we get it!" The pinkette groaned as she did not want to even think about that serial rapist. He was a living nightmare to all of them, especially for Run, and was thankful that he was now dead thanks to Seyru killing him.
As everyone got back into sitting after refilling in the food and alcohol supplies, Esdeath held the remote on her hand. "Let's continue with this episode before we head off, shall we?" With that, she pressed the play button to watch the next episode.
A/N: I apologise if the reactions are quite bland and not really well detailed. I really wanted to publish this chapter before Christmas Eve, so I had to rush through this before it hits the day. I do hope you enjoy this chapter. Now then, onto the reviews:
ArmadaELV: Well, I am going to make him regret of thinking of beating Hank upon seeing future Madness Combat episodes
Kadraphan97: Here you go.
Guest: As I said to Kadraphan97, here you go.
Wtfstarftw1: Thank you for the response. I really hoped you enjoyed this chapter.
Xenozip: Well my fellow review, I hope you are ready to go through memory lane. I can tell that you are enjoying this.
Zeroth17: Well, they did see Tricky this chapter. Maybe they'll be surprised by seeing him next chapter.
nantono: Well. Considering that this is a side story of Night Raid Watch Halo Legends, I doubt Hank would be there. But you just gave me an idea for a future side story/omake idea.
Anyway, I did write a side story. But I saw that it was completely unnecessary as it was going to take up a lot of time. I will see you next in Madness Combat 3: Avenger. Oh, and I wish to all of you a Merry Happy Christmas.
