A/N: I am back. I apologise if this updated late. I just had some real life issues I've been dealing with. I am fine if you are all wondering. Now then, Night Raid is about to react to the 'Tricky Saga' or 'Tricky Arc'. Let's see how this will end up.

Night Raid went back into the Death Battle room after spending most of their days either training and/or helping the Revolutionary Army with things. In all honesty, taking notes from the Madness Combat series was quite helpful to say the least.
"Phew!" Leone sighed as she finally sat down onto the couch with a mug on her right hand. "After everything from this morning, we could finally continue watching this series!"
Esdeath could not help but to agree with the blonde alcoholic. "I say. Madness Combat is getting a bit more…fascinating. With all the gore, the mutilations, the violence—"
"You don't need to repeat yourself again!" Mine interrupted. She and everyone didn't want to hear another word coming from her mouth. "Let's just get this over with." She proceeded to sit down on Tatsumi's left side on the couch.
"Um are we going to—" Her lover was about to say.
She instantly shots glare back at him. "No!" This made Tatsumi back a bit away from the pinkette until he felt quite comfortable.
"As you wish." The Ice General responded quickly after seeing the event unfolding and wished to harm her for such act. But that was not top priority for her right now. She immediately grabbed the remote from the coffee table, which was a new furniture in the room, and hit the play button. As she did, it transitioned into the new episode of the Madness Combat series.
'Madness Combat 4: Apotheosis' Appears on the black screen. The last word was coloured in grey.
"Apotheosis?" Tatsumi wondered at the new word, "What is even that?"
The former teacher answered the assassin's question, "That means it is either the highest point in the development of something or the elevation of someone to divine status."
Night Raid got interested by what Run had just clarified. That begs the question. Why was that word used for? That was perhaps something that they would need to seek answers as they were about to watch this episode.
*Madness Combat 4 Soundtrack: Cheshyre - Main Theme starts playing*
"NO REGRET" Appears onto the screen as it turns red. It shows Jebus Shooting Hank in the head at the end of Madness Combat 2: Redeemer. A single gunshot was heard before a set of bandages was then wrapped around his head.
"Do you think that bandages would help injuries in an instant?" Cosmina wondered at that thought.
Susanoo, who had some medical knowledge, then answered, "From what I can tell, only small and wounds would help almost in an instant."
"Su, this is Madness Combat." Lubbock reminded the human Imperial Arm. Sarcasm was filled within his tone as he looked at him, "And by looking at this, I can definitely tell that it will get a bit…weirder."
Now that Lubbock mentioned about it, everyone else then thought the same. Since the Sheriff was dead in the last episode, then perhaps the antagonist for now would be a familiar character. One that already made the former teacher close his eyes to not ruin the mood. Speaking of which… "Or perhaps more violent."
"NO REMORSE" Appears onto the screen as it turns red. Like before, it shows the protagonist being stabbed through the back by Jebus at the end of Madness Combat 3: Avenger. A stab sound was heard before another set of bandages were wrapped around his torso.
"Something tells me that this episode might become—" Leone was about to say as she sipped a bit of alcohol from her drink.
"Alright, you do not need to repeat yourself," Chelsea then cute the blonde off. Her reason for doing that was because she had a feeling that there might be something that were watching them. It also told them that they needed to be a more realistic reaction, which she oddly had to agree on. "Let's just continue watching this episode."
"What is it with you?" The pinkette wondered why the Trickster made an outburst all of a sudden for no reason at all.
"NO REASON" Appears onto the screen as it turns to red. Unlike the other two, it shows Tricky putting on an iron mask to hide his face which was riddled with bullets from the last episode. After putting it on, his green hands turned to grey, and he makes a sign towards the screen.
Like the previous two episodes, Run just sighed in with a bit of venom. But unlike the other times, he did not close his eyes. Sheele saw this and wondered why Run had made this kind of reaction. "What was that reaction?"
"Since the clown might be in the very next episode, I cannot close my eyes and look away," Run answered back to her, "I decided to not repeat like last time."
That was something that none of them expected to hear. Wave was quite curious about his behaviour, "That still doesn't answer that question from early on"
"Let's just carry on watching the episode," His teammate replied back. He did not want anyone having up the time that they were wasting to watch this show. He had to admit that despite his disdain for clowns, he started to get used to Tricky appearing on the screen knowing that he'll become unhinged in the future episodes.
"ONLY MADNESS" Appears onto the screen. Hank can be seen shooting a total of four enemies with his two pistols before he fires more shots towards the viewers.
"Seems to be that—" Tatsumi was going to say something.
"Don't!" Mine barked as she didn't want to hear a single word coming out of his mouth.
Her 'boyfriend' turned to face her, "What? I was going to say something different."
The pinkette went silent for a few moments before realising what she had done. She giggled nervously and blushed a bit from her actions. "Sorry."
"SOMEWHERE IN NEVADA" Appears onto the black screen. Hank can be seen driving his car under the night's sky as he was heading towards his destination.
The screen switches to one grunt leaned onto the wall while having a smoke break. He was guarding the entrance to the building. A hand pokes at him and turns to see another grunt who was signalling if he had another cigar to which he nodded back in response.
Speaking of smoking, Najenda already had a feeling that those two were the first to get themselves killed. This tells her that from previous episodes, the smokers were the first ones to fall victims to Hank. "Why does it always begin with the smokers getting killed first?! Is it some sort of myth in this series!?" Esdeath could not help but chuckle at her former colleague's comment.
The first guard nodded and pulled out a pack to the other guard. The second guard then pulled out one cigar and proceeded to smoke. Almost immediately, the two saw a light coming towards them and immediately they were crushed by Hank's car. Both were dead as they were pinned onto the wall. Hank gets out of his car and grabs his silence MAC-1O and an M1911 in his pocket before proceeding to go inside of the building.
"Talk about getting pinned." Najenda unknowingly made a joke, which no one either groaned or moaned at her comment.
Upon entering the building, Hank enters a room with a wanted poster of him, one poster showing the sheriff which quotes 'THE SHERIFF WANTS YOU! DO NOT RESIST,' and another poster that shows 'CLUB M.'
Run made a few notes as he was looking at this. He can already tell who was hosting Club M.
Leone had a thought on that. She could imagine herself drinking a lot of alcohol until she was passed out. "Something tells me that its my type of club."
"You might be wrong there, Sis," Tatsumi informed her. He had a feeling that it might be some sort of club that is popular in their Earth Cousin's world.
There, he held one guard hostage before shooting another that was wielding a FAMAS. Shortly killing the hostage, Hank proceeds to move to another room. More posters would be seen and immediately he gunned down a total of seven grunts. One of which tries to hit him with his fists but fails. As he ran out of ammunition. Hank then ducks to cover when an enemy with a shotgun attempts to fire at him. Picking up an AK from a dead enemy, he then semi-fires it to the enemies. Including one that was coming behind him while he wasn't looking.
Everyone was impressed by this. Even though Hank is a psychopath, he still has some pretty badass moments. "I'm starting to think that he can beat all of us." Seyru gulped at her own comment.
Esdeath sighed at her subordinate's words. "As if. He seems to be weak."
"You may be wrong, Esdeath." Najenda informed her former colleague as she took a sip from her glass of alcohol.
Looking at the rifle, Hank sees that it was in 'SEMI'. Putting at it to 'MEGA' he proceeds to move to the next room. There, he shoots two armed guards and an unarmed one. A grunt attempts to backstab him, but the protagonist grabs him and put him to the front, where he was shot at right. Hearing the sound of clicking, Hank drops the rifle and takes a peek. A grunt and another person wearing a black suit and tie as well as shades guard the entrance to the door.
"What kind of enemy is that?" Leone asked in curiosity.
"Seems like another cannon fodder type enemy," Chelsea guessed as she took another lollipop from her Imperial Arm. She never knew that statement would be true.
"That person is a 1337 Agent. A group part of the AAHW and was a replacement to the Grunts," Susanoo informed them as he was the guidebook.
Hearing this made the trickster chuckle. Who would have known that she was right all along. "Well, looks like I was right."
"You are always right, Cheslea." Mine commented with a deadpan expression on her face. This made the other girl giggle at the pinkette's words.
Seeing that Hank was peeping, the Agent ordered the grunt with a baton to take care of him. This backfired as Hank threw a few punches before holding him in a chokepoint. The Agent then fired his Deagle at the Grunt, killing him.
"Seems like this Agent does not care about the Grunt's life at all," Lubbock uttered as he observed the fight.
"Can you keep you mouth shut. We're trying to watch this episode!" Esdeath said, leering at the green haired boy to keep quiet.
Najenda made a glare at the Ice General for threatening her love interest. But honestly, she had a good point. "Lubb, you better d what she says. Okay?"
"O-okay," He responded back.
Quickly killing the Agent by piercing the baton through his throat, Hank throws the baton at another grunt coming behind him. After dealing with that, he then moves on where he easily deals with two grunts by shooting at one before crushing another from the vending machine that he was hiding.
Leone didn't say a word. She never knew that Hank was that strong. "I have to say, Hank does give us a run for our money."
Akame was not entirely sure about her best friend's statement. "I believe that most of us could do that, Leone. You were being overexaggerating."
"I guess you're right," the blonde responded back.
Shooting one more grunt and choking another until he was knocked out cold after a few punches, Hank then sees three grunts. One with an MP5, another an axe and finally one with a Katana.
This caught Kurome and Akame's attention as it had foreign writings in it. "Su, what kind of Katana is that?" Akame asked.
Flipping the page through the guidebook, the human Imperial Arms then answered, "It is a dragon sword. It is a simple katana with the words 'Crush, Destroy, Kill'." Stylish meanwhile was making a few sketches of the katana.
Shooting the two grunts before he proceeds to drop it, Hank punches the katana wielding grunt multiple times before he snatches it and slice him on the head. After killing another grunt with a baseball bat, two more grunts came up behind him. Upon seeing the weapon that Hank has, one attempts to grab the MP5, but Hank tabs one grunt in the forehead before picking up the other grunt through stabbing through the stomach. Heank proceeds to shoot at his head, killing him.
Some members were taking notes of this. Despite the brutality that was playing right now, it was good to make a few notes so that they would be more efficient and ruthless in their missions.
"I need to rely more on weapons wielding. Otherwise I'll be dead in a second." Chelsea thought in her head. Remembering how she died in the cannon timeline.
As he put the katana in the back, Hank proceeds to g to the door on his right. There, he quickly disposes four grunts with his MP5 and a metal pipe. Walking down the stairs, he walks through the door and sees the person that was his target. Tricky, who was in a DJ set playing music for a crowd of dancing grunts.
Unexpectedly, Run started laughing. Who would have known that Tricky the Clown would be a DJ all of a sudden. Wave and the others were curious as to why he was laughing. "What's the matter, Run?"
The former teacher stopped laughing as he looked over to his friend. He wiped a tear from his eye since he couldn't stop laughing. "Sorry, it's just that Tricky being that is hilarious."
"I know what you mean by that," Cosmina said, knowing that the person who hates clown would find some humour.
As the rave was still going, it switches to a First Person perspective where Hank shoots Tricky in the middle of the face. Blood was spattered across the wall behind him. Everyone stops and looks at Hank who grabs the hilt of the Katana. Tricky then gets back up and points at Hank. He commands all of the grunts to get him.
This, of course, made Run had a little memory playing in his mind. Sheele saw this and was comforting him. "It's alright. At least Tricky has got no intention to kill Hank."
"As of yet." Mine quietly said. She was sceptical about the airhead's statement.
"Maybe he may kill him in the next episode," Bulat guessed.
Hank begins gunning and slicing his way through the crowd of grunts. One grunt was not taking part in it and decided to smoke instead. Dropping the MP5 as it was emptied, Hank manages to kill all of them and points his katana at the top of the undead clown's mask.
"Finally, it's about time Hank gets to kill Tricky!" Leone said. Excited that the two were going to fight.
"Leone," Chelsea spoke as had a bit of a serious look in her face, "not to alarm you, but Tricky get back up when Hank shot him. I doubt that the two would fight in this episode."
Leone narrowed her eyes at the Trickster. "How come?"
The metal door blast open, killing the grunt that was smoking. Hank and Tricky turned in dismay. There, Jebus, who had a few stitches on his face, and a zombified agent with a G36enters the room.
"There's you answer," Chelea pointed out.
Susanoo looked at Jebus's face and he was surprised that it was perfectly patched up fine. All that was left was that it has a few stitches shown. "Seems like someone might be good at stitching up wounds."
Stylish had the same thought. "It could have been more stylish."
'OWNAGE' then appears at the left top corner of the screen. It soon risen from 0% to a 100%. Jebus raises his hands and zombifies the entire crowd of grunts Hank just killed.
Leone could not help but shiver at the number of zombies seen. Despite them not being the same as the Flood, it still creeped her out. "Something tells me that I am grateful that zombies aren't here."
"Same." Kurome answered after taking a bite off from her plate of cookies.
"Just keep quiet you two," Mine hushed at the two as she did not want to have the same thought.
The ones that were zombified and were able to stand were quickly disposed of Hank, who used his Katana and M1911 to kill them all. As he ditched the pistol as it ran out of ammunition, Hank brandishes his katana as the zombified 1337 agent draws his gun and fires multiple rounds at his body.
"Do you think he can deflect all of the bullets?" Sheele asked in curiosity.
Akame answered that question as she took a huge bite from her cooked meat. "I doubt he'll dodge all of it."
"Well, we better keep watching then." Najenda told the two as she wanted to see what happens next.
The protagonist's adept agility allows him to deflect most of the bullets with the sword, but one bullet gets past his guard and hits him in the neck.
*Changes Madness Combat 4 Soundtrack: Sad Song (Heaven in A Wild Flower) *
Seeing Hank get shot startles Tricky as he sees him falling into the ground.
"Looks like you were right Akame." Leone said. She knew her friend was going to be right as she had that kind of experience during their assassination assignment.
"Was he really thinking that swords can deflect bullets?" Mine questioned. Wondering if he made the right decision.
Night Raid had the same thought. Knowing that Hank might get revived in the next episode, all they wondered what he will do next.
zombified agent aims his gun on Hank's head to finish him, Hank shakes his hands and quickly grabs his sword and slices the agent's head through the middle.
"Wow, Hank's that fast! Looks like he could be Akame's opponent for reaction speed." Lubbock awed. Akame looked at him and she also had the same thought.
He clashes blades with Jesus, but the Saviour draws a Desert Eagle with his free hand and penetrates Hank's body with three more shots.
Esdeath groaned at this sight. Jebus was weak. He used a cheap trick to shoot Hank when he blocked his attack with his binary sword. "Why the hell would he do that?"
"Perhaps not to make the same mistakes as last time, Commander." Wave guessed to his leader.
Realising that Hank was out of options, he takes a detonator he hid out under his garment and blows himself up with a suicide bomb, killing himself and Jesus in the process.
"Wow, looks like he went out with a bang." Najenda said. Unknowingly made a Halo 3 reference there. Seyru was glad that she didn
"Did you really have to make a HALO reference?" Everyone thought as they heard her saying that. Seyru was glad that she didn't have to resort into using that bomb that Stylish made for her. Otherwise, she would die like Hank.
Tricky, who was watching the fight, just shrugs and puts on a familiar piece of Music.
*Changes to DJ Birdie: Chicken Dance*
The undead clown then dances at the DJ set while the screen turns to black. The message then reads in white at the black screen.
'And he danced...'
EPISODE ENDS
"That was one episode!" Leone said. Stretching as she sat down for a long time.
"It seemed pretty interesting to see a new type of enemy." Akame agreed with her friend as she took another bite from her meat.
Comina had a feeling that it will become better, "Well, it does seem to get better and better every episode."
"And not to mention that there will be more blood and gore," Esdeath smirked at the thought of that.
"I wonder what the next episode will be?" Seyru wondered.
"Who knows? Maybe Esadeath would be right." Tatsumi predicted. He had a feeling that some familiar feeling was being felt right now.
The sadist smirked at this as she hugged her darling. "Thank you Tatsumi! Now shall we watch the next episode?" Tatsumi's harem just stared at the two.
Without wasting a second, Najenda then grabs the remote and hit the play button to watch the next episode.
