Chapter 10: Meeting the Hunters
Selene thought they would be returning to Camp, but they appeared in a forest clearing that had several tents and wolves were running around. Selene liked them right away.
"Stay out here until I explain things to the girls," she said and Selene sat down on a tree stump and waited.
One of the wolves approached her and she extended her hand. The wolf sniffed her hand and then licked it. She laughed at the feeling and it looked at her with the same eyes that she had.
"You're like Mistress," the wolf said.
"I am," Selene said and then was off, telling it all about what she had done.
"You are far braver than any girl that I've met."
"Thanks," Selene said.

"You slept with a man," someone said.
"We will kill him for desecrating thee," Zoe said.
"He's already dead and my daughter is connected to a madman that will kill anyone because of blood. Please, my daughters, don't punish her for what I've done. Selene is an amazing girl and very smart. She saved the gods from going to war."
"I'm not happy about this, Mistress, but we will respect you by respecting your daughter."
Artemis smiled at her and said, "I'll go and collect her."
The moment she walked back in with the child all the Huntress thought she was the cutest thing that they had ever seen. Once again Selene had managed to charm everyone just by looking at her. Well except for her suppose Aunt and Uncle.
"I have to return to England for nine months out of the year," Artemis told them, which didn't set well with the Huntress. "I leave Zoe in-charge of the hunt."
"Yes, my Lady," she said.
"Until I leave, we hunt tonight," Artemis called out and everyone cheered.

Selene loved the huntress that her mother had collected. She ran as fast as they could and her aim was just as good as theirs. The wolves were amazing and she was so tempted to join their ranks just by being around them. She found it nice to be around others that were like her. However, she had to take care of Tom Riddle and she couldn't do that away from England.
"Something the matter?" Artemis asked her.
"I really love it here," Selene said. "I don't feel so alone."
Artemis placed a hand on her shoulder and said, "You will never be alone. And, if you want to, you would be more than welcome to join the hunt."
She looked at her and said, "Really."
"What are mother's for," she said.
"Thanks, mom."

A/N: So after ten chapters, and her first quest, even though she wasn't asked to, she is ready to go back to England. Oh and Dudley has been getting letters, but not from her. So, does anyone want her to join the hunt after she defeats Tom Riddle? Let me know in the comment section.
