Chapter 2
After getting some punch, Ino and went outside on the back patio, where they hoped to be alone, for a while at least.
Back inside, Anko seethed with anger when she heard what happened at Naruto and Kushina's house when the Haruno family had come over for dinner.
"I'm glad Naruto put that spoiled princess in her place." Tsume said, sipping her wine.
"She better hope that I don't see her around anywhere." Karin spat angrily.
"I second that." Anko says bitterly.
Naruto and Ino were dancing together on the patio, Ino was in heaven. The dance was freedom, to dance was to become an opening flower or a bird aloft. To feel the movement was new breath for her body and nourishment for a soul so tired. She could dance until the sweat dripped to the polished wood and her reflection showed pink cheeks. After that sleep came easy and the dreams were of more twirls and leaps to the music that was part of her blood.
Ino's mind was spinning, she was in pure bliss being in Naruto's embrace.
"So, Ino are you enjoying yourself?" he asks.
"Immensely, Naruto, you're an excellent dancer." Ino whispered.
"Thank you for the compliment, Ino."
Ino blushes.
"N-Naruto?" Ino asked nervously when they stopped dancing and sat down on a bench together.
"Yeah?"
"Are y-you dating anyone yet?" the platinum blonde asked hopefully.
"No, Ino. I'm not dating anyone as of yet, would you like to date me?" he asks.
"Yes!" Ino squealed excitedly , making Naruto chuckle lightly.
Naruto and Ino spent half an hour talking and getting to know each other better.
"Ino, when do you want to go on our first date?" Naruto asked as he gently stroked the other blonde's left hand.
"Give me two weeks, I want to buy a new dress and shoes." she said before laying her head on her new boyfriend's shoulder. "I really want to look amazing for you, Naruto." Ino says.
"You already do, Ino." Naruto replied softly. Ino blushed at the comment.
After kissing Ino goodnight, Naruto and Kushina went back home, Naruto told his Mother that he is dating Ino, Kushina is happy for her Son, but Naruto saw the sad look in the redhead's beautiful eyes.
Before entering their home, Naruto gently grabs his Mother's right arm and spins her around and pulled the redhead flush against him before kissing her lips hotly.
Kushina's eyes widening in surprise, Naruto's lips were soft and the kids was tender and light.
"Naruto?" Kushina asked, surprise evident in her eyes.
"Mom, you deserve attention too, I will give it to you when I can, 'kay?" the blonde said.
Kushina nods and hugged her Son, the pair made their way into the house.
"And just where have you two been?" Minato asked from his seat in the living room.
