Chapter Eleven

"Now I'm the one with the muscles and the power!" Jason growled.

"That's right Jase," Tommy choked out. "But you're not using your brain power." Tommy said. He then was able to hit Jason in the chest, but this made Jason lose his balance, almost falling into the pit but Tommy caught him by one arm before he could fall in. Jason kept on trying to fight against Tommy, but he didn't want to fall into the lava either.

"Tommy!" Kim yelled as she saw what had just happened. "Hang on!"

"Come on Jason, don't fight me. You gotta remember, remember all the good." Tommy said, reaching his other hand over to get a better grasp at Jason's arm.

Kim finally got over to Tommy's side and helped him grab onto Jason. "You got it Kim?" Tommy asked as his eyes connected with Kim's now normal brown ones.

"I'm with you," she told him, still looking into his eyes. The two then looked down as Jason struggled against their grasp. They were able to pull Jason up, just as the pit exploded, making Kimberly and Tommy fly back several feet, and Jason barely hit the platform. Tommy and Kim slowly go to their feet, and started heading for Jason who had also gotten up and started wandering around the temple in a catatonic state. The Piranhatrons stopped them from doing that.

Suddenly, Tommy felt someone tap his shoulder.

"I think you're gonna need this," Kat said, handing him his helmet.

Tommy took it and glanced back at Kim who gave him a thumbs up. "Back to action!" Tommy cried as he put his helmet back on.

"I'll get the Liarians," Kim told Tommy, touching his arm for a minute.

"Alright," he said to her, and she ran off towards the Liarians. He turned back to the other rangers. "Let's finish this!" Suddenly an energy blast shot past Tommy almost hitting him as it caught him off guard. "Whoa what the-" Tommy inquired.

"Did you really think this was over Red Ranger?" Havoc said. Enough talk! Enough distractions! Enough games! Give me what you promised. GIVE ME THE ULTIMATE DUEL!

"I told you before brother your insatiable appetite for battle will get you killed. Stop this while you still have a chance!" Divatox said, trying to plead to her little brother.

"This is all I ever needed to do big sister." Havoc responded, then turned his attention back to Tommy. "Raise your sword Red Ranger. It's time I found peace in your defeat." Havoc commanded.

"Face it, General. It's over. You're too tired to even lift your sword. You've been beaten accept it." Tommy said.

For a moment Divatox started to worry, because she loved her little brother, it almost made her seem a little bit human. She began to speak, "Please don't do this little brother, I don't want to lose you. This fight needs to end."

"Release me sister, let me have this. This is my moment! This fight is over? If only that were true." Havoc said clutching his sword, pointing at Tommy.

"So you're finally alone. Free from the burden of being expected to save the world. I knew we had something in common the moment I met you. Hiding your rage made you twisted like me." Havoc said.

"Havoc do not flatter yourself, you and I have nothing in common." Tommy responded.

"Maybe you don't think so, but I can see it in your eyes, the same need to fight, the need to prove yourself worthy as a leader of your team. I was right to choose you as my opponent. We're both looking for the ultimate fight! A fate we didn't chose but that chose us." Havoc said.

"I know one thing Havoc. The world would be a lot better without you. Perhaps this is my destiny. It's time to finish this once and for all!" Tommy reiterated, clutching his sword as they inched towards each other.

Havoc inched closer to Tommy as he speaks. "A duel to the end Red Ranger?"

"YOUR END!" Tommy said, as he swung his sword in the direction of Havoc. Havoc took a step back and blocked his attack. The two commenced to duel again swinging their swords back and forth with all their might. Havoc swung hitting Tommy in the chest as Tommy swung back striking Havoc in the stomach. Knocking him back.

"Pretty impressive, Red Ranger but it's time we end this. How do you like this!" Havoc said as he charged up an attack with his sword.

"I couldn't have said it better Havoc! It's time to end this!" TURBO LIGHTNING SWORD FINAL STRIKE." Tommy exclaimed.

Rygog was standing in front of the pit when Divatox suddenly ran over and pushed him away. "Watch it you big Christmas tree ornament." Divatox said.

"Sorry about that." Rygog apologized.

"Maligore, arise and meet your bride. Together we will exact revenge on Lerigot, descendent of those who imprisoned you. Come to me, please!" She said. "Oh come on!" She exclaimed when nothing happened.

Meanwhile, Kimberly is helping Lerigot and his family get out of their cages.

"The humans are turning pure again! Now we don't have a sacrifice!" Rygog complained.

"Oh, but we do" Divatox said in a monotone voice, holding back tears.

"We do?" Rygog asked. Divatox nodded and then pointed in the direction of the duel between Tommy and her brother who were both inching closer to the lava pit.

Tommy and Havoc's two moves clashed as they tried to direct more energy into both attacks. Tommy sees this and gets an extra boost of power from his Turbo laser pistol. Blasting at Havoc causing him to lose focus. This caused Tommy's move to hit Havoc at full force, gravely wounding him.

"Helluva move, you let me think I had you so you could get close enough to finish me. Well fought Tommy Oliver. Thank you." Havoc says his final words and falls back into the lava pit.
