Welcome to the next chapter!
Demon lord digimon; Those were the two highest ones that received votes from the first chapter. Canis Lykaon creates scythes as well as swords, anything is possible with Longinus' depending on who wields it. The possibility of Lavinia would be there regardless of Longinus/weapons Akira had.
Freddy8712; Thanks for voting.
Primus1661; Thanks for the vote.
Zhany; Thanks for the vote. Yeah, it was him that did that to Akira.
Darkwubs; Thanks for the vote. Yeah, if it doesn't win here, I know what character I'd have True Longinus with. Yeah, it's a Longinus with some quite awesome potential. Glad you like the relationships between them. Yeah, regardless if Vali does join or not, they'd always be considered partners. They'll certainly try their best. Thanks for the suggestions!
asterotus; Thanks for the vote. Yeah, it would be pretty cool if he could do that. It would be yeah. Thanks for the harem suggestion.
fakhri; Thanks for the vote.
darkjason78; If that option was chosen, then he'd wield a combination of both holy and demonic weapons. Thanks for the vote.
Hiruka Lucifer; Thanks for voting.
wtfstarftw1; Thanks for voting.
shephawk; Thanks for the vote. Yeah, that would be cool. Thanks for the harem, and peerage suggestions. Yeah, she'd be interesting to have as a potential partner. He could live there yeah. Yeah, no worries about that~
badclash04; Thanks very much! Thanks for voting.
Benny Far; Yeah, they could be. Thanks for voting.
Kosmish; Thanks. The weapons he'd use, and his own powers would allow him to fight many high level opponents.
Paladinpog; Thanks for voting.
Eher; Thanks for the vote.
HolyKnightX; Thanks! Yeah, I thought it would be cool to have her introduced here. Yeah, it's quite difficult for Vasco, he's at odds with a lot of things inside himself. Yeah, he'd be dangerous with any of the options and would have some unique fighting style depending on the weapon chosen.
OechsnerC; It really would be yeah. Thanks for the vote.
batmanuchiha; Thanks for the vote. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far~
MCRasengan; Thanks for voting.
ShadowUzumaki55; Thanks! Yeah, they happened to come across Elmenhilde as they were travelling. Thanks for the vote. Yeah, that would be cool.
Silver crow; Thanks. Yeah, it's going to be quite the fight. With or without one, Akira would be a powerhouse. If Canis wins, he wouldn't need Caliburn or Gram with the upgrades I've got in mind for that Sacred Gear. I haven't decided if Valerie will be in the peerage. Elmenhilde has yeah. Yeah, Akira's quite knowledgeable about certain things. Akira's got a lot of desires yeah, one being wishing to fight against strong opponents and become even stronger. Yeah, he's had to fight a lot, so he's collected stuff over time. Seems like his blood is quite addictive to Elmenhilde. Vali was yeah. Yeah, Akira and Vali opened up to one another. Akira's had it quite rough, losing a lot in his life, and being attacked and on edge constantly. If he did have Gram with a Dragon, I'm sure he'd come up with a way to deal with the backlash/negative side effects. The Balance Breaker would fit to suit Akira as a person. He'd have the curse flames at some point. Akira could be like that with True Longinus sure. Yeah, they'd be interesting ideas for an Oc to have True Longinus. He could share his abilities like that sure. He'd have some stuff to say to the Angels. Akira's peerage will be strong filled with different types of powers. I've got some ideas for the replacement on Rias' peerage yeah. He'd be physically strong. Some events shall be covered in the series, some when he's a kid, and some when the canon starts. Elmenhilde could end up with something like that. Thanks for the harem suggestions. Akira's got some people he'd wish to have a battle with. Zekram would probably fear him the more he grows in power. Lemons will happen eventually. I guess Unohana could do yeah.
Guest 1; Yeah, Elmen's appeared. Vasco is yeah, we'll see how it goes here. We'll see how the fight goes this chapter~ That would be a cool peerage, thanks for the suggestions! Yeah, that would be a good replacement for Rias to have. Jeanne is pretty useful yeah.
Guest 2; Thanks for the peerage and Longinus suggestions.
Solomon; Thanks.
DxD Family; Thanks, I'm glad you're liking Akira so far. Yeah, they'd be interesting to do. Worthless definitely is a scary power to think about.
Godofwar01; Yeah, either would be cool. I'd probably rewrite it at this point.
Anthor; Thanks for the vote.
Guest 3; Thanks very much! Elmenhilde did yeah, she'll be going through quite a bit as the story goes on. Elmenhilde could do that yeah. Diehauser and Vasco did yeah, there is a good deal of tension between the two of them, considering how it is between their factions right now. It would be pretty epic if the pair of them were able to fight one another. Some justice shall be gotten for Akira's parents one day, Akira will make sure of that. Vasco did yeah, it seems he's closing in on them. Yeah, I thought they'd fit pretty well with Akira. Thanks for the harem suggestions!
aphrodisiaque; Thanks!
Skull Flame; Glad you think so.
Weebshitt; Thanks for the vote. I've decided a good few of them yeah, that could be interesting.
Guest 4; Thanks for the vote.
Sparxon1543; Thanks.
OrlinOrlean; Thanks for voting.
makotoxvalerie; Thanks for voting. As it was said, he'd not fall behind anyone if that option won, we've seen others without Longinus being monsters with either their own power, or single weapons. Longinus' have shown the ability to adapt depending on the wielders preference.
Longinus888; Thanks! Yeah, they couldn't clash, but made their intentions well known to one another. Yeah she could have that. Jeanne could be a possibility. Thanks for the peerage suggestion. Thanks very much!
chungorion15; Vali's already changed, sorry. Thanks for the vote.
Lazymanjones96; Thanks for the vote!
Guest 5; Thanks for the vote. Ingvild could be.
Acehardlight; Thanks for the vote.
ElementalHeroNeo; Thanks for voting.
Guest 6; Thanks for voting.
Guest 7; Thanks for the votes, and harem suggestions!
Guest 8; Vali could do yeah. They'd be interesting, thanks for the suggestions.
Valtryek sama; Thanks for the vote. Yeah, any Longinus in the right hands can be truly devastating. They'd be cool peerage members.
Hope; Thanks for the vote.
Akeno fan; They'd be cool peerage members. Isane is fun yeah. Thanks for the vote. They'd be cool. Yeah, he'll be fighting Vasco this chapter.
Guest 9; The meeting between Akira and Irina's Dad is going to be very interesting when we get to it.
kurenai lui; Thanks for the vote. Yeah, it could be like that.
Morregen; Thanks very much! Thanks for the vote. They'd be quite interesting peerage members, appreciate the backstory on them.
Shadow; Thanks for the vote.
Luna; Thanks for voting.
lord of Prospero; Thanks for the votes.
Guest 10; Thanks for voting.
CodeEarth; Thanks for the votes.
Guest 11; Thanks for the peerage suggestions! Yeah, whatever doesn't win here, I'll use it in the next DxD story/rewrite of another DxD story.
With those reviews out of the way, please check the bottom for more information, and it's time to start the chapter!
Vasco's fight!
Rossweisse had been studying what she had heard that day, when Akira saved her. It had taken her a while, but now she had found out what it was about Akira that he had called out that day. With what he called, she believed he understood what kind of power it was that Akira had.
When she found it, she saw the image of the crest of the Belial Clan, and what the power could truly be.
So she rushed down the stairs, and looked towards her Grandmother who was casually sipping some tea.
"Granny! I've found it!"
"Found what, Rose?"
Rossweisse thrusted her hand forward, showing a book.
"That boys power, he called out Worthless, when he used his power. And I've found the Devil clan that corresponds with it, the Belial Clan."
Gondul looks towards the book Rossweisse was referring too, and saw what it was that she was looking at.
She then turned towards Rossweisse herself, seeing that she looked rather excited.
"You've been rather obsessed with this. Could it be that Odin-sama is right?"
Rossweisse's face turned red, shaking side to side.
"N-No, it wasn't like that at all! I just wanted to know about the person that saved me, that's all."
Rossweisse responded as she felt a small tinge of red coming to her cheeks.
"I see, so that's what it is. Well, Rose, a Devil from the Belial Clan, that means he's related to the Champion of the Rating Games."
Rossweisse was surprised to hear that.
She didn't know much about the society of Devils.
She didn't know what the boys name even was, but she was happy to hear that he came from a Clan that produced such a strong person.
"The Champion...Granny, do you think that I could try and contact that Devil boy? I'd like to say my thanks, properly."
"Such a respectful girl, if that's what you desire, then I don't mind at all. But since they are the Devils and we're of the Norse, it could be difficult to get into contact. However, if this is your desire, then I'll try my best. It would be good if you did have a good boyfriend. One that is respectful and strong."
Rossweisse immediately felt her cheeks turning hotter with redness spreading over her cheeks.
"Granny! Why are you saying such weird things?!"
Gondul didn't reveal it on her face, but she did find it amusing when she saw her granddaughter acting so surprised all of a sudden, and how she would be when certain people like Akira were mentioned, even if they didn't know his name yet, and was mentioned indirectly.
It seemed Akira truly had quite the effect on Rossweisse.
The next morning after their heart to heart, Akira and Vali were in the cabin together. The fire that they had made had simply burned itself out, he also saw that Vali was peacefully holding onto him as she slept.
Her head was on his chest, and she was looking rather content.
"Vali-sans so cute~"
He thought as Elmenhilde muttered in her sleep "So delicious..." in a singsong sleep voice.
He also found her to be pretty adorable.
Soon, he tried to move.
But Vali wouldn't allow him to move at all.
She even made it a point in her sleep that she wouldn't move her body or would she try either.
So he decided to lay there, and look at the ceiling of the cabin they were in, allowing his mind to drift into different thoughts that came to his mind.
"...It feels like Vali-san and I are really getting close now...We shared a lot...I can't believe that her family was so horrible to her. She really has suffered...I should try my best to fill her life with happiness from now on. No one deserves to have such a horrible upbringing... I wont let anything happen to you Vali-san, even if those Exorcists eventually send so many that we can't win...you're my friend, the same with Elmen-san..."
Akira mentally decided to do his best to keep Vali and Elmenhilde safe, no matter what was going to happen.
He lightly petted the top of Vali's head, which drew a half smile to the young girls lips. Even though she was sleeping still, the fact that she smiled meant the world to someone like Akira, and was glad to see that Vali was happy right now.
Akira decided to get up eventually, being able to wiggle out of her grasp, and went towards what looked like it would have been a kitchen if it hadn't been destroyed for the most part.
As he did, Vali begin stirring away, her eyes going towards Akira, who in turn was busy cooking said food.
"We'll have to leave today."
Akira began, Vali nodding, as Elmenhilde groaned, got up, and began doing her daily activities.
"Yeah, but where to next?"
Akira shrugged.
"I saw a mountain in the distance, maybe we could go and check that out?"
Vali didn't mind, and seemed to be rather passive about it.
"We could explore a mountain if you wish."
Akira nods, as he continues to cook as Elmenhilde got herself a drink of water.
But as she walked passed Vali, she accidentally tripped over, and her water went all over Vali.
The young half breed sat there, drenched from the water, Akira placed a hand to his mouth as Vali turned to Elmenhilde who looked as if she was caught by a ghost.
"...Vampire..."
"Oh no, s...sorry about that..."
Vali gave her a stare, while Akira could see Elmenhilde looked slightly embarrassed.
"But it keeps happening Vampire. Where's Buffy when you need her?"
To Akira, it sounded like a joke Vali made, in her own unique way.
However, Elmenhilde looked confused, so Akira let out a small laugh.
"Sorry, Buffy's currently unavailable, but food is about to be ready, so get ready everyone."
Elmenhilde, still puzzled, turned to Akira.
"Who's Buffy?"
"Eeh, someone you probably wouldn't want to meet."
Akira replied, but Elmenhilde was still curious so she pressed on.
"Oh? Is that so? Why?"
"Because, she's a Vampire Slayer." Elmenhilde's face dropped, which Akira saw so he clarified. "It's a TV show I told Vali-san about, don't worry, she's not real."
"Humans also say that Vampire's aren't real, but I'm around, aren't I?"
Akira tilted his head at the logic, he ended up patting her head comfortingly.
"Don't worry, if she was real, I wouldn't let Buffy get you."
Elmenhilde coughed into her hand.
"O-Of course, she isn't even real..." Elmenhilde looked around, while Vali gave an intrigued look. "...s-so, we'll be leaving, soon, yes? Before Buff...anyone could come?"
"Haha, yes, we'll be going pretty soon. Lets have a good meal first."
When Akira finished, they sat down together, with Akira and Vali eating across from one another.
A few days after their heart to heart, they were more open with one another. To the point they spoke about many things, even trivial things together, which both found to be good.
They walked together, and since leaving the cabin that they shared for a single night, Akira also saw Elmenhilde trailing behind, so he called out to her.
"Hey Elmen-san, you okay?"
Elmenhilde wasn't used to such activities, walking quickly and moving around, so she did trail behind a bit.
However, she wouldn't be deterred, and she coughed into her hand a single time.
"Y-Yes, I'm fine..."
She wheezed out, Akira remained unconvinced, so he walked over.
"It's okay if you can't do it, I'll carry you."
Elmenhilde's face turned completely red, shaking side to side, and pushed her arms out in an act to try and dissolve the embarrassment inside, but it didn't work.
"N-No, really it is fine! See, I can keep going..." Elmenhilde took a few steps, but she then tripped on a rock. "Aah..." As she let out her voice, Akira caught her in his arms, resulting in the girl having a small dusting of red on her cheeks. "Thank, Thank you, but it wasn't necessary."
Akira could see she didn't want to appear as if she couldn't do it.
But he didn't want her to have to force herself if she was tired.
So he got before her, bent to his knee, and looked back, presenting his back to her.
"Hop on, I'll give you a ride."
"R-Ride...r-riding you?!"
Vali almost snorted, hearing the suggestive tone in Elmenhilde's voice.
Akira on the other hand nodded, giving a slightly playful look, also understanding the tone of Elmenhilde's voice.
"Yeah, how about it? I don't mind if you ride on me Elmen-san~"
Elmenhilde was floored immediately.
She felt her face becoming completely red, her eyes fluttering.
She felt embarrassed, and excited at the same time, so she moved closer.
Wrapping arms around his neck, he lifted her, and they carried on their way.
Elmenhilde laid her head on his shoulder, from behind, as they continued on.
Akira then turned to Vali.
"Vali-san, after all of this is done with, I mean when we finally get to relax, I've been thinking about what I'm going to eat first."
Vali tilted her head.
"What?"
"I'm going to eat a huge cheese burger, and lots of chicken nuggets~"
Vali looked on, quite amused by what was going on.
"Cheese burger, and chicken nuggets. You never cease to amaze me, Akira."
Akira lightly smiled, while Elmenhilde felt the same thing as Vali.
"They're so simple, but I love them. My Mom used to make it very well, with different kinds of sauce, and the likes. What about you Vali-san? Got any ideas?"
"I don't know, I haven't tasted many foods before."
"We'll have to try some Vali-san then. It would be the best to show you so many types of food."
Vali didn't really get how they got into some conversations, but she liked them all the same.
Though there was a thought that came to her mind, ever since she thought about her Longinus and the Sacred Gears in general.
"By the way Akira, tell me something."
Akira paused, turning towards Vali.
"What?"
"You mentioned about Heavenly Dragons at one point, didn't you?"
Akira confirmed it with a nod of his head.
"Yes, that's right. What about them?"
"You mentioned that there were Dragons stronger than them?"
Vali asked, with Akira nodding a single time.
"Hmm, that's right. There's...ooh, erm...Ophis-san and Great Red-san. I remember my Dad telling me that those two reign as the strongest Dragons, stronger than the likes of your Dragon and the one sealed inside of the Boosted Gear. I also heard they have some kind of disagreement going on between them."
"A rival like my own Sacred Gear Dragon?"
Akira shook his head.
"I don't think so. The way my Dad worded it, was more like they disagree on something. I'm not entirely sure what it is, but they aren't friends at least. Why do you ask anyway?"
"Because I wanted to know about the strongest beings out there. Tell me more about these Dragons."
Akira had a guess why she wished to know about it, and what her true intentions truly could be.
Elmenhilde was impressed by what knowledge Akira had.
"Well, Ophis-san apparently comes to the world that we live in, and can change shape, even taking on a human appearance. Great Red-san, according to my Mom and Dad tends to stay out of the way and live whatever life that he wishes to live."
Vali crushes her hands together seriously.
"If that's the case, then those are challenges that I'd like to find and fight against one day. What about you Akira? I know that you like to also have challenges."
Akira didn't deny what she said, and simply inclined her neck.
"That's true, I do like to have challenges. I also wouldn't mind seeing the power of Great Red-san and Ophis-san. Though there are some other challengers out there that I wouldn't mind having a fight against."
"Like who?"
Elmenhilde interjected, genuinely curious.
"There are Gods of other mythologies out there. My Dad said that there's many Gods out there, good, and evil Gods. I'd like to experience many things, and see what kind of powers they have. I'd like to fight with my own power, and see how it would go against the Gods of the world."
Vali thought that made sense.
She also was feeling something similar, wishing to know the full extent of her power against Gods and the likes.
"Also Vali-san, Elmen-san did you know about Fenrir, the wolf that has claws and fangs that are said to be able to kill Gods?"
Elmenhilde nods, as Vali answers verbally.
"I've heard about that one yeah."
"Wouldn't that be good to have around? I wouldn't mind having a strong ally like that."
Vali let out a small laugh when she heard that.
"I thought that you would say that."
Akira smiles, and continues on.
However, as they walked together…
Akira felt something wasn't right.
He looked around, but didn't see anything.
Vali noticed that he had a sudden change of tone, and raised a questioning brow.
"Something wrong?"
Elmenhilde added "Sense something?" as she saw Akira had suddenly gained a serious face.
Akira looked around once more, before shaking his head.
"I suppose not, don't worry about it."
Vali furrowed her own brows, Elmenhilde also wasn't convinced as they walked on.
Akira felt something wasn't right.
It felt like something was wrong all of a sudden, but he didn't know what it was right now.
What Akira didn't know was that he was right.
Vasco was approaching them, keeping his aura as low as possible.
First, he thought about simply striking them down and going on with his day, even if he truly wasn't someone that liked having to do this.
But when he saw them laughing together, interacting, Vasco felt something inside of him hurting.
"...They are only kids after all. And it's my job to slay them on the spot...it is a cruel twist of fate. I don't like this feeling inside of me...now I have to end the lives of these kids, who only wish to live...it looks like they're simply having fun. Is it really okay to use my power to end the lives of children? I'm questioning the slaying of Devils or Vampires...but they've not got evil hearts...I can't sense evil from any of them. Ambition, strength...but, not evil."
Vasco looked down at himself.
Though he was a man of the Lord.
Right now, he didn't feel very righteous.
He didn't feel good about this at all.
However, because of his connection with the Church, and his own morals having a clash inside of himself, Vasco did his best to fight through the feelings that were clawing their way through his entire being, fighting against even himself…
With those thoughts within his mind, he walked forward, his old eyes on the three young children, the sword in his hand was shaking from the feelings that were inside of him.
The days of travelling with Azazel, Diehauser had to admit that Azazel was a help, and because of their combined efforts, they were getting closer, and closer. However, the more they were, so was Vasco, and because it was a race against time, Diehauser never felt at ease, and always felt on edge.
"Azazel, have you found anything else out?"
Azazel shook his head.
"We're on the right tracks for sure, and I think we're closing in. Still, I wont give up, and I'm sure that you're the same as well."
Diehauser nods his head.
"Of course, I have looked this long for Akira, I am not about to give up now."
Azazel smirked at seeing Diehauser's passionate eyes.
"I see, so that's how you feel right now. I'm glad, you have the strength and compassion to keep going."
"Though you also have similar convictions as to me, even though technically that this Vali, isn't someone that you have to do this for."
"That is true, I don't have to do this, but I was asked to do this, as I previously said."
Diehauser couldn't deny that Azazel was trying hard.
However, as they travelled together, they both suddenly felt something.
Like a wave of power.
"What's this..."
Diehauser was in doubt, Azazel crinkled his brow.
"This feels like holy power..."
"This feels like Strada."
Diehauser murmured, the feeling overcoming him even more.
"Strada, he's making it this obvious? But why?"
Azazel wondered.
Diehauser didn't care, and rocketed off towards the aura.
"You're going after them?"
"He's found Akira! I've got to get there before he kills them!"
Azazel thought the same after Diehauser said it, and chased after Diehauser as fast as he could do.
They both hoped they would arrive before Akira, Elmenhilde and Vali were killed by the hulking mammoth of a man.
Back with Vali, Elmenhilde and Akira (who was carrying Elmenhilde still on his back), the snow was all around them was growing even more, with the area becoming a blanket of snow. Because they were getting higher and higher up in the terrain they were traversing, they ended up walking on a mountainside.
The place was somewhere that Akira pretty much liked, the view of it from their location was beautiful, an entire area covered in soft white snow.
Vali seemed to be shivering as they walked through the cold together. Akira looked towards her, and then down at his body.
"Vali-san, if you get too cold, we could always cuddle."
Vali did a spit take.
But tried to keep her composure on as she stared towards Akira.
"C-Cuddle?"
"Yes, that's right, cuddle. Share body heat. I wouldn't mind doing that for you..."
Vali looked over Akira, and her mind went to a place where she briefly thought of him hugging her tightly.
"No...that's not necessary."
Akira gave a slightly teasing smile.
"What did you just think of Vali-san?"
Vali huffs, keeping her face calm.
"Nothing."
"If you say so~"
Vali looked at Akira, who was smiling with a mix of a teasing and innocent smile.
She didn't know how he pulled it off, but there was something about the way he could smile, she found rather endearing.
They then continued their journey, with the snowstorm becoming heavier as they walked. The snow hit their faces, and their bodies felt the chill. Even though they were part Devils, and had bodies that could resist more than full humans could, they still felt the coldness of the snow washing over their forms. Even Elmenhilde as a Vampire felt the cold.
"It's getting really cold now, huh Vali-san, Elmen-san."
Akira mused, with Vali nodding.
"Yeah, we should find another place to rest soon, it might get too cold for us."
"Y-Yeah...really cold..."
Elmenhilde added with a shiver.
Akira mentally agreed as they continued on through the snow, hoping they'd find somewhere for them to rest soon enough.
However, as they did, suddenly, Akira and Vali felt something overwhelm them.
Elmenhilde soon followed, with her feeling a similar thing to the others, landing on the snow as she hopped off of Akira's back.
It was a power that felt like a mass of walking energy.
The trio looked to see that coming across a field, was the hulking Vasco.
Vasco was wielding a sword that seemed to be rather small to him yet it was bigger than both Akira and Vali's sizes.
"Shit..."
Akira placed a hand over his mouth, with Vali turning towards him.
"What, do you know him?"
"I've heard rumours, my Dad showed a picture of him once...no, Vali-san, Elmen-san, we have to go...we have to run!"
Akira didn't waste time, taking Vali's and Elmenhilde's hand, and rushed towards the right to try and escape the approaching man.
"Why? What's going on?"
Elmenhilde asked with worry.
"That man is Vasco Strada. He's legendary in the Church, known as the strongest Exorcist, he's able to slay Devils that even exceed Ultimate Class if the rumours are to believed. He is an enemy that we can't face."
Vasco looked on, raising his blade, before swinging it down.
"Sorry children, now that I've tracked you down, I wont let you escape."
As he did, the earth was carved up, and caused it to split, blocking their escape.
Akira, Elmenhilde and Vali turned to see Vasco's still approaching form.
"I was surprised, when I first began this mission, never did I expect that it would take me this long to find you. Boy, girls, you've got good skills at hiding, and slaying Exorcists."
"Get lost old man."
Vali growled out, with Akira weighed up the options that they had.
Vasco let out a small laugh.
"That's quite the tone, young lady. Though I don't want to fight children, it seems that I might not have a choice at all." His eyes landed on Akira, and cocks his head. "You have kind eyes boy."
Akira was surprised that Vasco would say something like that.
"...Eminence Strada, that's how my Dad would address you. But I'll call you Strada-san if you don't mind."
"Yes, if that's how you wish to address me, then I have no objections."
"Then Strada-san...you've been sent to kill me, correct?"
"Yes, that's correct. I cannot allow you to escape."
Akira was afraid of that.
So he took his sword out, and held it out before him.
"You wield a blade boy?"
"My Dad taught me everything I know. Strada-san, before we fight, I have a request."
"What would that be?"
"Please allow Vali-san and Elmen-san to go, let them get away from here, and give them the chance to escape."
Vasco looked surprised when Akira said that, but saw that he had serious eyes.
Vali looked blind sided by that, Elmenhilde was shocked.
"Akira...what are you saying?"
"Y-Yeah, you want us to leave?"
Akira lowered his eyes, turning towards the duo.
"Vali-san, Elmen-san, I'm sorry...but we can't win against him. That's why, I want you both to go right now."
Vali blinked, then showed her furrowed brows, while Elmenhilde looked at Vasco, seeing waves of holy erupting from him.
"You want me to be a coward?"
"No, I want you to live Vali-san. Please, go with Elmen-san, right now. Strada-san, he is a monster in battle, we can't win. I know that we can't. However, I wont let someone else I care for die. You are my friend Vali-san, both of you are. You're someone that I care for, I want to protect you, both of you and keep you safe. So please, run away. I'll distract him for as long as possible."
"Why are you saying these things now?"
Akira smiled fondly towards Vali, something that did surprise her a good bit, then to Elmenhilde, who gave sad eyes.
"I don't want to die. But the outcomes right now, if a miracle doesn't happen, then our deaths will happen. However, I wont go down without a fight. I wont stop until there's breath in my body. Even if I die here, I know that I have done everything I can to return to my family. But if I could protect you two...then I would be happy."
Vasco, hearing his voice...he couldn't accept that this child was evil in the slightest.
Willing to defend those he cared for, sacrifice himself, and didn't give up. Even when he knew that he wasn't strong enough to win, he still was going to take on someone like him.
Akira, in Vasco's eyes, earned his respect immediately with those words.
"Vali-san, Elmen-san. You go-"
"Yeah, right. As if I'm abandoning you."
Akira blinked as Vali pulled forward, taking his hand in her own.
"Vali-san..."
"We either do this together, or not at all. We're a team."
Elmenhilde nods her head a single time.
"I don't know if I can help...but, I want to try at least."
"But what about your justice Vali-san? Against your Dad, and Grandfather? Elmen-san, you wont be able to go back to the other Vampires. If you stay here, then Strada-sans abilities..."
Akira tried to have them see what this fight was going to mean.
Vali definitely did see it, but she also felt something else as well.
"Yes, that is a concern. However...you're my first friend, someone that actually...besides, I'm no coward either. Strongest Exorcist, is he? Then he's about to meet two of the most determined half Devils he'll ever see, past, present and future."
Elmenhilde nods her head, and continues.
"You saved me...even though I attacked you, even though I gave you every reason to turn your back on me. So...if you're going to fight, then I...I will as well. I shall fight, and...I am a Vampire, I also have my pride in my people, and my abilities, I shall show them to this Exorcist immediately."
Akira felt touched by their words.
It was something that he really did like about her.
"I can't stop you...but, you're sure this is what you want?"
Akira asks, both nod, with Vali showing her Divine Dividing, and Elmenhilde summoned some bats.
"If I can halve his power a few times, we might be able to weaken him enough to either land a killing blow, or escape."
Vali was determined.
It also made him determined.
Though he knew Vasco was dimensions ahead of them right now…
They couldn't quit.
"Right, leave his holy power to me, I'll make his power Worthless. Elmen-san, I'll leave support to you."
Elmenhilde nods, as Vali makes a stance.
"Right, then lets do it Aki!"
"Aki?"
"I'm calling you Aki now."
"Right, Vali-chan~ Lets do it!"
Seeing their resolve, Vasco understood how they had managed to survive for so long.
They weren't stupid.
Yet they were determined.
They were ready to face down any enemy.
They were ready to fight hard, and fight strong.
"Haha, you three kids really are resolved. Even though you're fighting me and you know of me, you're going to give it your all. I can't complain children, I am glad that I have met people such as yourselves. No one wishing to abandon the others, and fight for the other's lives. Those are brave hearts that I wish to see."
With that, the fight begun.
Vasco watches as Akira and Vali come at him together. Vali moved through the air on her wings, while Akira rushed across the ground. His movements were rather fast for his age, Vasco could see why Exorcists would have been having trouble, and losing to the boy who could move so fast, the same for Vali who was moving through the air like a bullet.
Akira got towards Vasco first, and came at him with sword swings that Vasco recognized.
"You have Exorcist style swings of your blade?"
Vasco was surprised as he filled his blade with a holy aura.
But Akira grew up around an Exorcist, and knew what this power was.
So as their blades connected, the power of Worthless activated, and caused the holy aura to simply vanished, Vasco's eyes widening in shock as Elmenhilde summons her bats, and forced them around Vasco's head, to blind him as much as possible.
As she did, Vali got in from behind, her hand going towards Vasco to take half of his power.
In the moment that Vali's hand was going to touch him, Vasco's form vanished from sight, Elmenhilde's bats all were destroyed.
"He's fast."
Vali murmured, only to widen her eyes when Vasco appeared behind her.
As she turned, Vasco nailed her with his fist.
He would have used holy power, but the moment that he summoned it, Akira fired off some demonic power that erased the holy power, only leaving his physical strength behind. Even with Vali creating some demonic barriers, the fist shattered them, hitting Vali's form and sent her flying into the snow.
She received a good deal of injuries from such an attack, with Akira calling out to her.
"Vali-chan!"
Vali groaned, bleeding from her mouth as she pulled herself up.
"His fist is no joke..."
Vali felt her body trembling.
If he had used holy power as well, she knew she'd be finished right now.
The fact Akira erased it saved her life.
Vasco turned his blade towards Akira.
"You are good. Your power of Worthless, I know this power from my days of studying the Devils. You have to understand the power that you're up against to make it worthless. The fact that you understood my Holy Fist, goes to show your knowledge on various subjects."
"My Father taught me everything he knew about the world of the Church, and those within it. Even the ability to use such power as well. But you did something unexpected, Vali-chan is still moving, you held back."
Vasco's eyes didn't change, but his demeanour was one that was hard to read.
Even then, Akira believed he understood something that happened then.
"We'll see if I was now."
Vasco shoots across the ground. His speed, unreal. Even as an old man, Akira felt that the speed this man was going was beyond anything he had seen before. Faster than his parents, and faster an any Exorcist, this was a human that could be called a cut above the rest.
Akira readied himself, seeing Vasco's sword coming up, and managed to block it with his own. Vasco looked on, and swung several times, Akira managed to block each strike, adding in his Worthless power to do so, as he did, Elmenhilde shot off some waves of darkness to hit Vasco. Though they weren't strong to Vasco, it did give Akira another edge to push Vasco as hard as he could.
"Akira-kun, I'll do my best!"
Elmenhilde blinded Vasco for a second, giving Akira the time to slide to Vasco's right hand side.
When Akira got close to Vasco, the old man swung his sword to cut Akira's body, only for Vali to appear from behind, unleashing a torrent of demonic power. The more and more she released, the more that Vasco chose to deal with that.
Cleaving through it as if it wasn't even there, Vasco dealt with Vali's power, Akira slipped into the man's guard, to try and pierce his upper body.
"Sorry boy, not yet."
Vasco moved his large foot back, as Elmenhilde causes her bats to form a shield before Akira, but the foot of Vasco's ending up nailing Akira in the chest despite him trying to defend with his blade, and the bats.
The light from his blade vanished as Vasco overpowered it, and Akira himself went flying backwards.
"Akira-kun!"
Elmenhilde yells, worried, as he rolled across the snow several meters before stopping, blood coming out of his body from wounds that he received from the kick.
Vali scowled at that, and shot for Vasco, thrusting several fists for Vasco.
"You hold affection for this boy, don't you?"
Vasco himself used his power to deflect the attacks. He had his holy aura embed within his finger, and used that to block.
"You'll see soon enough what I feel."
However, while doing so, he heard [Divide!] and saw that the aura of holy weakened, enough for Vali to push through and managed to collapse the holy aura surrounding that finger, which also increased her power at the same time.
"You're also good, the moment of impact, you're using your Divine Divide ability to weaken my aura, power yourself, and blast through my holy aura. Your demonic power is also pretty strong for your age, and you wielding such a Longinus, you are quite the existence after all."
Vasco said it with surprising joy, as he twirled around, hitting Vali with the side of his arm, and smashed her into the ground.
Akira winced as Vasco held his sword above Vali's body and aimed it downwards.
"No!"
As he said it, Elmenhilde tried to come up from behind Vasco and bite him, only for Vasco to catch her, and suspend her up in the air.
"G-Get off!"
Elmenhilde yells, Vasco tilts his head, with Akira's face becoming worried.
"Elmen-san!"
Akira yelled, and lunged forward.
Releasing his demonic power at Vasco, the old man turned around to slice through it. He added his holy power to the blade through his Holy Fist, but like before, Worthless was erasing it, more and more, so only his sword remained behind.
"I'll erase all of your power Strada-san!"
"Yes, but for how long can you keep that going young one?"
Vasco's question got rejected by Akira who didn't reply, and instead came at Vasco with several sword swings, which Vasco parried, Akira watched Vasco toss Elmenhilde aside, where she collapses on the ground, exhausted.
"Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Akira pulled back, and then from his light sword, he released his demonic power. Some of the light power mixed in, something Vasco was interested to see, as he cleaved through it once more, creating a blast zone around him.
Dust and debris surrounded Vasco, Akira used this chance to toss several crosses around him, before he activated a holy power barrier.
Vasco looked around him, seeing the barrier being rather sturdy.
"You couldn't know this in depth knowledge of techniques from Exorcists at your age without growing up around such powers. Tell me boy, why do you know these things? You said you learned from your Father, who is that?"
"Masaomi Yaegaki. He is my Father."
Vasco was stunned to hear that, looking at Akira, and then thinking back on Masaomi, Vasco placed them together. But he also remembered hearing about Masaomi, and because it was something that Akira didn't seem to know, Vasco spared the child and gave him some mercy for the time being and didn't reveal about his Father.
"I thought you looked familiar, so that's what it was after all. You're the son of Masaomi, and a Devil, from the Belial clan?"
"You should know, it was your people that came for us to kill us in the first place."
Vasco wore confusion on his face.
"You must be mistaken, I had no such knowledge on this subject."
"But, you must have, you all came for us that night!"
Akira pressed on, he found it strange that someone as high up as Vasco wasn't aware of him and his parents execution order.
Vasco shook his head.
"It wasn't an order I ever received, or heard of. I didn't know of your existence until I received my mission."
"So if you didn't...then why was the Church involved? Because I remember the Exorcists, they had the training, they talked about it being the will of God."
"Could it be Stray Exorcists?"
Vasco offered an explanation.
Akira paused, and thought about it.
However, Akira didn't believe that was the case, and shook his head.
"No, it couldn't be, the way they operated, there couldn't have been just Stray Exorcists that night. They said that my parents love was wrong, Stray Exorcists might care about that, but the way that they spoke and what I saw...it felt like it was officially from the Church."
Vasco didn't say anything more, and looked at the young boy.
The words he spoke, and the way his eyes looked, told Vasco that he wasn't lying.
That this indeed was Akira's truth, if it was the entire truth of the situation he couldn't say. He hadn't heard of anything like this. Even with the research he did into Akira, he could only find the supposed crimes of him killing Exorcists.
But the more he thought about it, the more he could conclude that Akira wasn't the 'Exorcist Slayer' that had garnered this fearing reputation through killing. He became such a being because he was being assaulted over and over again.
Confirming it before his eyes, Vasco smiled to himself as Vali got up, standing beside Akira who held his sword out before him.
"So you've come together, that's good. Now, it's time for us to finish this."
Vali and Akira watch as Vasco flexes his large muscles, and breaks through the barrier that Akira had set up.
As he did, Vasco noted that it suddenly exploded, seeing that Akira had created an explosion spell upon it, something Vasco murmured "Smart." as he used his holy aura to deflect the blast as much as possible, his immense durability being something that attributed to Vasco being fine.
Akira and Vali then took their aim for Vasco and leapt forward.
They did their best to fight the enemy before them.
Rushing, attacking in tandem together.
However, Vasco proved to be a monster beyond their abilities.
Even then, Vasco applauded their efforts.
Even when they were smacked down, they got back up.
They fought to the bitter end.
By the of the fight, Vali laid in the snow, defeated.
The same for Elmenhilde.
Akira, bleeding heavily from his body, clutched his sword tightly, and still looked prepared to fight.
"You three have excellent team work, I'm proud to see it."
Akira looked towards Vasco.
He didn't want Vali or Elmenhilde to suffer, so he raised his blade, and thrusted it towards Vasco in one last attempt to stop him.
But the blade was deflected by Vasco who forced it into the air, and out of Akira's grasp.
It fell into the snow, leaving Akira beaten, and broken.
Still, Vasco saw the determination in his eyes.
The desire to protect and fight.
It was a quality that he wished he saw in more of his enemies.
He usually only saw the evils of the world, so seeing the good within a child like Akira, Vasco was satisfied.
"Young ones, seeing the level of trust, and camaraderie between you, I am confident enough to say that you three aren't evil beings. I'm sorry that this is the sides that we've fallen upon. If possible, I'd like to fight you when you've grown up. It would have been the best battle between us."
Akira didn't want this to end, he couldn't.
Seeing the defeat of his friends, reminded him of that night with his parents.
He couldn't go through it again.
He wouldn't.
"Strada-san...even if you cut me down...even if you cut off my limbs...I wont stop...I'll fight you until I'm dead...because that's how I was raised...that's who I am...the world might not want me...but these people accepted me...and I want to return home...so get the hell out of my way now!"
As he yelled that, with his now frail and weakened body shaking, something began to happen.
Something stirred within him.
At that moment, Vasco notices something.
A pulse comes from Akira's body.
It was as if some kind of power had formed, the power of darkness, with the darkness springing out, and caused Vasco to be repelled slightly, but he managed to cut through it before it could do any lasting damage, though he felt his hand being numb from the darkness itself.
From the shadows on the ground, black blades grew out, and shot for Vasco like rockets, moving so fast even he was surprised.
He managed to block, but saw the holy aura around his blade had vanished, with Worthless being wrapped around the blades, and saw his sword being stabbed into more and more, cracking underneath the intense pressure.
"This black blade...this darkness...so, this child possesses one as well..."
Vasco watches his sword snap in half, so he was forced to grab the blade. Even with his holy aura vanishing due to Worthless, he managed to catch the blade from stabbing him, albeit with it cutting into his hand.
From the shadows below Akira, a black bullet shape shot out, and sliced across Vasco's hand, dropping Akira to the ground.
Akira's hazy eyes look towards what it was, seeing that it was a small black puppy, with a blade sticking out of its head.
It stood before Akira, who could barely move, and stared down Vasco.
"You...You're...Canis...Lykaon...it feels like...we've...but I..."
Akira watches the dog growl as it stares down the enemy.
Vali and Elmenhilde look on, seeing the ground being stained in darkness, yet the heavens had opened up, and released beautiful lights that rained down, yet it wasn't harmful to either Vali or Elmenhilde.
"Aki..."
"That black dog..."
The pair spoke as Vasco's eyes went towards Akira.
"Boy, you do have incredible powers after all. However, I have to stop this now."
Vasco moved his body and despite his age, he crossed the distance. He produced a new sword, and clashed with the black blades, he couldn't use his holy power because it was being erased, so he had to rely on physical strength to push the blades back, which they were.
The small black dog also shot off with its blade protruding out of its forehead aimed for Vasco's body, who managed to clash with the dog, heavy sparks ringing through the area, and then he repelled the dog, sending it down to the ground with a whimper.
Akira tightened his hand, and began standing up, when Vasco appeared before him.
"An existence like yours...is truly dangerous indeed. It makes me want to fight you even more when you've matured. I am sorry."
Vasco twirled his sword, and aimed it for Akira.
He tried to summon more black blades, with them shooting out of the shadows, only for Vasco to dodge out of the way, and grabbed Akira's throat, lifting him up in the air.
"No..."
"Goodbye."
With a depressed voice, Vasco repeated what he was going to do beforehand, and aimed his blade for Akira.
Vali looked on, gritting her teeth as she tried to stand, but couldn't due to what Vasco had done to them already.
Elmenhilde began crying, knowing she couldn't do anything.
Akira then watches as Strada begins thrusting his sword forward.
"No don't!"
Vali tried pulling up.
But she couldn't.
Akira looked at the blade, and thought that this was the end.
A single tear strayed down his eye as he thought "Mom, Dad...I'm sorry, I wont be coming home..." and closed his eyes as the blade neared his chest…
However, in that moment, Akira felt his body suddenly moving.
He opened his eyes, and saw a flash of silvery hair, and silver eyes.
Being cradled within their arms, as the sound of clashing weapons filled his ears.
He looked to see Azazel had created a sword of light, blocking Vasco's shot, while Diehauser carried him, Elmenhilde and Vali away to safety.
"Un...Uncle…?"
Akira murmurs, with Diehauser looking down at the young man, adopting a small smile on his face.
"You've grown so much, Akira."
"Uncle..."
Akira cried tears of relief, as Azazel grit his teeth.
"You are as strong as they say. But these kids can't die by your hands, Strada."
Diehauser looks on, then places Akira down next to Vali and Elmenhilde.
"Stay here Akira, I'll be right back."
Akira looked worried, facing his Uncle, and expressed what he felt inside of his body.
"Wait, Uncle, he's..."
"I know, I'll be right back."
Diehauser walked over towards Azazel, who pushed back Vasco.
He expected a fight to break out, so he began summoning his demonic aura to combat the enemy before him. Akira also saw that Azazel held his light around him, and strengthened the power more and more.
Vasco looked between them both, before he pulled his sword back, and sheathed it.
Azazel and Diehauser both looked surprised.
"What are you doing?"
Azazel asks, only for Vasco to give him strong eyes.
"Diehauser, do you remember what I said to you?"
"Yes, I remember. But we arrived later than you."
"Indeed, however you have arrived. You are before my eyes, and you have the capacity to keep this child safe. He is someone that I have deemed to have a good heart. I also was made aware of the boys circumstances, and I have to be honest, I was surprised, I hadn't heard of this event at all."
Diehauser didn't see a reason why Vasco would lie about it, so he had to conclude that he was speaking the truth.
Akira then looked on as Vasco turned his head to him.
"Boy...no, Akira, is that right?"
"Yes...Strada-san."
"Harness that power inside of you and then when you're older, come and see me. Awaken the Balance Breaker of your Sacred Gear, awaken the power sleeping in your body. Also, keep training, grow stronger and stronger. Become a gentle but fierce warrior."
Akira slowly nods.
Though Vasco was intending to kill them, Akira could see that his heart, wasn't in it.
He didn't want to do anything like take him out.
It was the difference in that, which made Akira think that Vasco was one of the good Exorcists that he had met in his life, along with that of his Father.
Vasco then left, with Azazel and Diehauser looking on.
Seeing no hostile intentions, they let him leave and went towards Akira, Elmenhilde and Vali.
Diehauser immediately hugged Akira, who did the same thing as the black dog came over, and nuzzled Akira's face.
Akira felt tears of joy come from his eyes.
After so long, Akira could finally be with his family again.
He loved seeing his Uncle, and he now wished to see his parents as well.
He even saw Vali and Azazel speaking. From what he could hear, it seemed like Azazel had been seeking Vali out for a good long while as well, and genuinely wished to help her out, which Akira was glad for, if Azazel could be trusted, but because he was with Diehauser, Akira didn't find any reason to not trust him.
Elmenhilde was being treated by some people accompanying Diehauser.
"Uncle, I missed you so much..."
"I missed you also. It's been too long, but you managed to survive, and it seems that you've grown a good deal stronger. You even have such a power inside of you, with that black dog..."
Akira smiled softly, giving off a beaming smile.
"Uncle, so, about Mom and Dad, they're waiting for me, right?"
Diehauser didn't want to deliver this news.
He kept his head down as Akira noticed something was wrong.
"Uncle...Mom, Dad...they're...they were, able to escape...right?"
Diehauser kept his head down.
Speaking felt like it would break his heart.
He didn't want to do that to Akira.
He didn't want the boy to suffer.
"Uncle...Mom...Dad, they're...waiting for me...to come home...so we can...we can be together again…right?"
The truth was coming to Akira.
He didn't want to believe it.
But in his heart, he could see the way Diehauser looked.
He could see that Diehauser wouldn't lie to him.
So the sad, the painful look that Diehauser had, clued Akira into exactly what was going on.
Diehauser himself, as hard as it would be to do this, wanted to give Akira his family...but reality was too cruel sometimes.
"Akira...I'm so sorry...but, your parents, they didn't make it. They...They're both dead."
When that news broke to Akira, it was like time stopped still for a few moments, but then reality hit like a train.
He collapsed onto the ground, tears flowing from his eyes, raining off of his face, but no sound escaped, he couldn't even form any words.
He always thought that it was a possibility, he thought that they could have died.
The hope of them being alive, was what kept him going.
But if they're gone…
"I'm so sorry Akira...that night, your parents...they were killed."
Akira ran his hands over his eyes, dispelling the tears that flowed down.
But even then, they came back, and kept going down his face.
Vali and Azazel looked on, the former feeling disheartened, and the latter also felt it was rather cruel what kind of existence Akira had, fighting to survive, wanting to go home, and now found out that he didn't have a home to go back too.
Elmenhilde turned her eyes away, feeling sad for him, that he couldn't return back home.
"Uncle...they really killed my parents...they're gone..."
"Yes...they are, but you're still here. The love they have for you, is still here, with you...I'm sure, they loved you, until their last breath."
Akira listened to what Diehauser said.
But he couldn't concentrate.
All he could think about right now, was the fact that his parents were dead.
Vali didn't say anything either, and felt sorry for him.
Elmenhilde couldn't say anything, keeping her eyes down.
Everything that Akira had gone through, felt too cruel.
"Uncle...I want, to find those that were responsible...I want to know why, they came for us that night...okay? They killed my parents...I want to know why. They could have...simply let us live happily...Dad could have...been banished from the Church...they could have simply exiled us...they didn't have to do this…"
Diehauser mentally agreed.
It felt like it was too much.
Even though he thought about the status quo, and how it was something that he could see the Church and even the Underworld wanting, he didn't think it was something like having to kill his parents and Akira to keep such a thing...though he also knew that deep down that some wouldn't have been satisfied with anything other than their deaths.
"Yes, I feel the same, Akira. Let's work together, and find out what truly happened that night."
Akira slowly nods.
This was too much for Akira.
No, it would have been, if he hadn't already mentally prepared.
He thought that it could be possible that his parents could be gone, so a part of him had prepared.
But now knowing the truth, it was devastating.
His parents were gone, but he remembered them fondly.
The love they had for him, was something that would carry Akira on.
Because of that, he'd do his best so others didn't have to suffer like he was.
That was Akira's promise.
As that was going on, Zekram Bael sat comfortably within his large estate, drinking his wine, when he had heard the news from a servant of his.
"...So, Diehauser's found the boy?"
"Yes, Zekram-sama. He has been found."
Zekram feared this day would come to pass.
More over, the fact that Vasco had failed, was something that deeply shocked Zekram.
He knew of the capabilities of Vasco, and could only conclude that either Diehauser managed to fight him off and get away, or Vasco himself hadn't found them. He also wondered if Vasco could have pitied the child, but that was something hard to understand for Zekram, since Vasco placed his faith in God.
"I see...so that's the current situation."
"Yes sir, shall I do anything?"
Zekram thought briefly about what he'd even say or do right now.
He would have to play this very carefully, and couldn't leave room for error.
"No, I need time to think, leave."
Zekram dismissed his servant, and was left alone.
He swirled what remained of his drink, before his fingers placed enough pressure on the glass that it began to crack.
"It really has ended with this being the situation. This isn't a good outcome. With Diehauser around, a prominent figure within the Underworld due to the Rating Games, and the fact that it would be less believable that Exorcists could have killed the boy now he could reside in the Underworld, making a move now would be difficult. Strada failed, and the boy now is coming here...shit."
Zekram's fingers crushed the glass.
Shards rained down to the ground, as did the remaining liquid.
Zekram looked at his hand, surprised that his anger had been allowed to take over him.
But with the situation at hand, he knew that this wasn't going to go in his favour.
Now that Akira was coming to the Underworld, Zekram knew that this was going to become very difficult.
If the boy truly did know anything, then he could tell Diehauser.
If he did...then he wouldn't be sure how the Underworld would be shaken up.
More than that, a Devil of Church blood as well was something that Zekram couldn't ever agree with.
He couldn't, and wouldn't allow this to happen.
Somehow, he'd have to kill Akira.
End chapter!
So this chapter focused upon Akira and the others finally coming to blows with Vasco! Though Vasco currently is out of their league, they also did their best against him, and fought as hard as they could. Then at the end, it seems that Vasco had a hand in bringing Diehauser, and Akira together again though Akira found out about his parents, and though devastating, he is more determined than ever to find oiut what happened. Rossweisse also appeared and she wishes to know more about him, even wanting to meet him again.
Now the Longinus that won...was Canis Lykaon!
It was quite close with only a few votes between PM's and reviews apart, and I waited as late as I could to count them all, even writing three different endings to the chapter depending on which one won, but yeah, that's the one that won in the end.
For those that voted for True Longinus, I do have another story planned at some point that would work very well with True Longinus with the backstory for that character.
For this though, with Canis, adding on his Worthless ability and his exorcist abilities and inclination to holy power as well as demonic, he'll create something quite unique with it~ And of course, since Akira has Canis, then that means Tobio doesn't exist here, and some elements from the Slash Dog storyline, some characters also shall be brought to fit in with Akira and his journey through his story.
So now onto the peerage, Isane is going to be a thing as everyone seemed to be pretty agreeable with that, I saw a split between her being in Rias' or Akira's peerage, so I'll leave that for another chapter. If she's in Akira's peerage, either be like in canon Pawn, or Akira's Queen.
Now Akira's got Canis Lykaon, Lavinia is a definite possibility, I could see her being in the group, or being Akira's personal contract magician. If she is in the peerage, she'd either be the Queen or Mutated Bishop.
Ravel will be in the peerage for definite, she'll either be Bishop or Pawn. Rossweisse will also be in the peerage for definite, she'll either be a Bishop, Rook or Pawn. Both shall be decided soon.
So yeah, if you're interested, please vote, and other suggestions are always welcome!
Well, until next time, thanks for reading!
