The young brunette walked with the captain into a candle-lit room on the stern of the ship. The room was large and seemed to be a bedroom. The captain allowed X in first, letting him look around. The bedroom was at least queen size covered in red duvets, well made. A vanity with a chair sat across from it, bearing three mirrors, one large and two small. A curtain hid something in the front corner. X couldn't tell what it was. "Is this..Is this the captain's quarters? Its so big." The captain nodded from behind him, closing the door. "Yes. This is my room. The room where the rest of the crew sleeps is below deck." The brunette nodded fixing his glasses. "I see." He turned towards the captain. "Then, why have you brought me into your room? Have I done something wrong?" The captain shook his head and came closer. "You have done nothing wrong. I brought you in here because I find you interesting." The redhead sat down on the bed, patting a space next to him. "Sit down." X did as he was told. "Why did you bring us here? And why did you try to trick us?" The captain watched him. "It was a necessary evil. I had to make sure my men had found brave boys. I am sure you have noticed my crew members are few in number. The younger I can find them, the more I can teach them." It was starting to make sense to X, but he still found it mean of him to fool them. As he pondered, X didn't notice the captain leaning closer. He finally noticed and blushed when he heard the captain's voice again. "As I said, I find you interesting. I feel a vague connection between us. I sense an eagerness to learn in you. Perhaps a yearning to explore." X blushed brightly, chuckling nervously. "I..uhh...umm..I wouldn't call myself brave..but I am curious about many things.." The captain nodded. "I sense that in you. Quite frankly, I am surprised you refused to jump ship with the others. Your curiousity must have made you stay, am I right?" X scratched the back of his head shyly. "Well, kinda..Its just..your demand seemed kinda senseless..I mean, we were already on board..We knew there was no turning back.." The captain grinned. "You certainly seem intelligent. Very much what I am looking for." X blushed more. "Sir?" The captain gently held X's knee. "Among the missing positions, I need a first mate. Someone to stand and take charge in my absence. I sleep during the day, so a first mate is paramount." X edged aside. "I..don't know if I can do that.." The captain grinned more. "I know you are incapable as you are. Though, this is where I step in. I want to make you my apprentice. Tell me your name." X blushed even more. "Oh my..thank you, captain..M-My name is Xavier..My friends just call me X..But might I ask, how often to captains take an apprentice directly..?" The captain nodded. "Xavier...I like it. Ah, not often at all. Normally, the quartermaster does that. On my ship, Signas is the quartermaster and the navigator. That would be his call normally. Though, I see he has not taken interest in you as I have. He is rather straight forward. He would have said something if he had taken interest. My name is Zero. I am the captain and also the cook on this ship. I try to do what I can for my crew whenever possible. I had ordered my quartermaster to stop in the closest harbor and restock our food supplies. In the process, I also wanted him to scout out new recruits. Not counting the new ones aboard, I only have 3 crew members. There is plenty of room for more." It finally all made sense. X nodded gently as it all clicked and pieced together. "I see. That's the whole picture then. I have a request though. I can't see too well in the dark like this..Can I see you in the light?" The captain stood up. "I am not usually fond of standing in the light. Though I will honor your request." Zero got up from the bed and walked to the vanity's chair, turning it around and sitting down. X got up and walked to him. He was surprised at what he saw. Zero had a scar through one eye, making it slightly fainter than the other. Rings of pitch black accompanied the blue hues. His body was toned with somewhat tan skin. On his chest, both of his breasts had thick curly red body hair and black nipples. X's eyes followed the trail of body hair down to Zero's deep navel and then to the top of Zero's jeans where it just started to grow wide again, marking the start of his bush. X had to cover his face to hide the blush. Zero grinned. "I see you are pleased with the sight. I enjoy what I see of you as well. You are small and lack muscle, but I do not mind." X gripped his face more, turning away. Zero chuckled and continued. "Seeing as you are my apprentice now, my chamber is now yours as well. Make yourself comfortable." X nodded, taking a deep breath. As he did, he felt and heard his stomach growl. Zero was keen to catch on. "You sound hungry. It is about time for dinner to be cooked. Come with me."
Zero wrapped X in his cape and walked him out of his room, locking the door behind them. X kept close at Zero's left hip. Signas saluted at Zero as they passed by. Zero grinned at Signas. "At ease. Keep up the good work." X grinned when Zero complimented Signas. "For a pirate, you seem very kind to your crew members." Zero chuckled. "As long as they work and follow orders, I treat them kindly." X nodded, feeling more comfortable beside Zero. "Are there any troublemakers?" Zero nodded. "Yes. There is one. Vile and I am certain you have met him already. He is part of my old crew who mutinied on me. Signas was able to recapture him and he was demoted afterwards. Now he takes it out on any new recruits. If he starts with you, let Signas know. I shall have none of that towards you in particular." X nodded. "I'll make a note of that."
The redhead guided X below deck and into the bunker where the crew members sleep. Axl and the other kid woke up and looked at the doorway. "Hey, bozo. Where's my friend? What'd you do with him?" X and Zero came to Axl's bunk. "Its ok, Axl. He hasn't hurt me. He's actually kinda nice." Axl snorted, remembering Zero's earlier trick. "I'll believe that when I see it. Hey, when are we going to get some food around here, huh?" Zero took a deep breath. "We will be perparing food as soon as we decide on what shall be served. Please calm your nerves." With that, Zero eased X along with him under his cape into the next room. Axl stared at them as they left, shaking his head.
In the next room was the food storage. One half of the room was room temperature and the other was cold storage. "Seeing as it will be your first night here, I invite you to choose what we will have." X blushed and looked up at Zero. "Me? Don't you have a schedule of what foods for what nights?" Zero smirked. "As a matter of fact, I do. Usually when supplies run low, we resort to raw seafood such as sushi and sashimi. Of course, depending on what we can scrounge up once we do restock, it is subject to change. I am awarding you the chance to choose what I cook this evening, since you have been well behaved so far." X blushed more. "Thank you..but I've never had sushi or sashimi before." Zero looked at X. "Have you not? Then I shall prepare some." He began getting some fish out of the cold storage area. "We shall let these thaw in the kitchen." He picked up some seaweed wrap and rice before walking to the next door. X caught the door for him, since Zero's hands were full. "Thank you, Xavier." He said as he passed by and both went into the kitchen.
In the kitchen, Zero set up and let the fish thaw before setting up the seaweed wrap and rice. X happened to notice a bulge and something sticking out of Zero's pants. He felt a little like a pervert. "Is something wrong, Xavier?" X shook his head. "Its just..your deckhand below is sticking out.." Zero chuckled. "He does that when sushi is on for dinner. He loves it. I do hope you do not mind him being out." X observed Zero's boner. It was pitch black and sharp tipped, showing off a large inviting opening. "Have..any of your crew tried to lick him?" Zero shook his head. "My crew has certainly seen him, but never licked him. Why do you ask?" X slowly came closer. "Well..I-I..I like boys.." Zero grinned. "I am pleased to hear it. I have nothing but mishaps and chaos with women." X blushed as he got closer. "If its ok, captain, can I..service him a little?" Zero smirked. "Only if you show me your deckhand as well." X shlyly opened the fly of his jeans and moved his underwear down slightly. Out popped a small semi hard, already drooling precum. "My deckhand thinks the captain is rather attractive." "Not so long ago, we were sailing some rough waters in a storm. Back then, I had a good number of crew members. Many good with artillery and navigation, though a few in charge of cleaning around the ship. We found ourselves in siren territory. Many of those crew members became entranced with the many sirens in the area. Myself, Signas, and another, my single remaining officer Charles, were not so enticed and tried to find a way out of the area. When we did find a way and escaped, the others were so blinded by the advances of the sirens, they commited mutiny and tried to force us to turn around. These scars you see. There were given to me by..Vile. Signas was able to recapture him and as punishment, I demoted him from Gunner to a Swabbie. He is not allowed to touch any form of artillery because he helped lead the mutiny. He tried to convince those entranced crew members that I was a wimp and could not fight. Now, those former crew members know full well that he was wrong. It pained me to do it, but I had to kill them. Not just for the mutiny, but also to free them of the siren's trance. There is hardly a moment where I do not feel remorse for those souls. A few of those sirens become enamored of me and even follow us. Signas has spotted them a few times. I feel relieved that you are more drawn to boys." Zero told him. X watched him, feeling bad for him. The redhead pet X's head. "The sirens could not entrance me, Signas, and Charles. I suspect that it is because we like other males. If that is correct, then you too are safe from their entrancements." X's now hard length twitched against Zero's semi hard.

Not for high position. For him.' X smiled. 'If I've learned anything about you, its that there's a gentle heart in your chest. If I were given the chance to hold it in my hands, I'd treat it with kindness and respect.' Zero grinned sadly. 'Know that said heart is broken. Would you be capable of easing its pain?' X's eyes closed. 'I'm inexperienced. I'm not sure what to do. I've never dated before.' Zero felt reassured. 'Nor I. If you agree to this arrangement, we shall learn together. Do provide an answer before you go to sleep.' X nodded. 'I'll mull it over.' Zero grinned. 'Thank you.'
After a few hours, Zero and X walked through the bunker again. "All hands on deck. All hands on deck. It is time for dinner in the galley." Axl and the other boy groggily woke up and got out of bed, following them out onto the deck. The two soon came out of the bunker and Zero gave a whistle to the others. "All hands on deck. Dinner in the galley." All but Signas came down to the mess hall door. X grew concerned. "Captain, the navigator isn't moving from his post." Zero grinned. "Not to worry. I always take his food to him. He is very serious about his work and I like that." X sighed in relief. "Good. No need for him to starve."
In the galley, Zero set down a platter of sushi rolls and sashimi slices for everyone and plates. He picked up one of the plates and served a few sushi rolls and sashimi slices for Signas. "Might I trust you to watch everyone while I give this to Signas?" X wasn't too sure. "I'll try." Zero leaned close to X's ear. 'Give a whistle if something goes wrong.' X nodded. "Yes sir."
Zero walked out on deck and took Signas' plate to him. Signas thanked him and sat down. Zero took the ship's steering wheel in hand as Signas ate. "How might that young brunette be doing?" Signas asked. "He is just fine. I want him to be my first mate..and perhaps more. I have taken him under my wing. He is my apprentice now. Please, I ask that you keep a close watch on him during the day. His morale seems unstable. I want no harm to come to that boy." Zero told him, keeping his eyes focused forward. Signas nodded, taking a piece of sashimi. "As you wish." Zero looked to Signas. "Especially protect him from Vile. I fear Vile could ruin our chances of ever getting a new crew." Signas nodded again. "Yes, I fear that as well. I'll keep a close watch on the two of them." Zero grinned a little. "Thank you. I am very grateful." Signas took another bite of sashimi. "Have you perchance told him..the secret?" Zero shook his head. "I have not. I suspect he knows already though. More goes on in his brain than he shows. He thinks, he worries, he is curious. Human traits I admire. Those seem to be prevalent in him." Signas grinned. "A young curious mind for you to teach. That is what you wanted." Zero nodded, stepping back from the wheel once Signas finished his food. "Indeed. Keep up the good work, Signas. Get your rest."
Just as Zero was leaving the steering wheel and Signas, X opened the galley door and whistled. Zero could hear things being thrown in the galley and rushed to X. "What is going on in there?" X leaned close to him. 'Vile started a food fight.' Zero grumbled a little. "Scurvy little..." Zero walked into the galley and cleared his throat loudly. The last plate to be thrown was sashimi and it smacked against X's rear. Vile burst out laughing when the rest went silent. "Fishy bum!" Zero growled. "Alright, Vile. You know my rules about wasting food. Who else participated?" He helped X clean bits of rice, fish, and a few vegetables off his rear. No one answered him. When he was done, he happened to notice only Vile and Axl had faces covered in sushi and sashimi bits. Charles and the other kid were still eating. "So, you as well. You are only seeing me as a scoundrel. I try to be as kind and gentle with my crew as I can. You are not seeing me as I truly am. It wounds me, though I do not expect your pity at this stage. I have tried to be kind, but my patience with you is mayhap threadlike now. Effective tomorrow, you start out as a swabbie." X looked a bit disappointed in Axl too. A few minutes of looking at X made the cheeky smile on Axl's face disappear. Zero gathered what remained on the platter, splitting it with X before picking up their plates. "Come, Xavier. We shall be eating in my chamber tonight." X nodded, coming to Zero's side. Zero looked back. "Both swabbies, you clean up your mess or you shall not have a bite to eat tomorrow." He kicked the door closed behind him and X.
In Zero's chamber, X had to sit on the floor and eat because of a stain on his pants. Zero sat on the bed, eating a few pieces of sashimi. X noticed Zero's length poking out of his pants again, twitching a little. He giggled a little, eating his sushi. "He certainly does love fish. He's so happy." Zero chuckled, feeling his length getting hard with each bite he took. X was getting a little hard too at the sight. He soon sported a semi hard as he ate. And he is just over 200 years old. For my kind, 200s are the adolescent years.' X slowly picked himself back up on Zero's lap. Zero watched him. "What of your resolve now?" X nodded gently. "A tad disturbing at first, yes. Your age is surprising and vampire, I've suspected from your fangs." He looked at Zero's scarred chest. "That doesn't make you any less deserving of love. I know you mean well. You are kind. You've had to harden your heart to keep it safe. I still want to hold your broken heart in my hands, It needs love to heal." Zero was surprised. "You are willing to accept me into your arms and love me?" X nodded, rubbing Zero's chest. "Yes. Vampire or not, I want you. As long as I can have days after days with you and the forever home you promised me, I want my place to be beside your girly hips." Zero smiled lovingly. "Then, you shall have it. I am nocturnal though. I have asked Signas to watch you during the day when I am asleep. You will have many nights at my hips. And at my chest." X smiled at Zero before letting out a yawn. Zero smiled, easing himself onto the bed more. "Go, my little Xavier. Go get a peaceful rest in your new home. I will not move until near sunrise." X slowly laid down on top of Zero, snuggling into Zero's chest. Zero wrapped his arms and cape around him, resting his eyes as he relaxed.
