Person- Sorry to disturb you but your nagate the one that flew the tsugumori? Nagate- Yeah that's me. He lifts his hand says it's a pleasure I'm Akai and this my squad Hinata, Izumo, and Aoki we are part of the defense squad of Sidonia. Nagate lifts his hand up to shake Akai hand then says it's a pleasure. Hinata- And you must be hoshijiro I've heard great things about you. Hoshijiro blushes then bows and says thank you mam. Before they could ask any more questions, they hear someone call nagates name. person- Nagate I've finally found you. Nagate then sees a young girl with green hair run up to him. Person- It's so nice to meet you I'm yuhata. Nagate with a surprise look says nice to meet you. Yuhata- I managed to find your file and look at the battle from the other day you were amazing. Nagate- Thank you? How did you find my file on me? Before she could say anything Izumo steps in. Izumo- Yuhata what have I said about hacking into files like that. Yuhata- Oh come on Izumo why do you think you never tell me anything when something new comes up or anybody new. Izumo- You know the reason why you could get into trouble.
Nagate- I'm sorry but did you say hacker and are you guys related? Izumo with an upset face says yuhata is my young sister and she has been known to hack into restricted areas without permission and has since gotten into trouble because of it. Yuhata then yells back I don't always need you watching over me. Nagate forms a worried face but then hears a girl's laughter again he thinks he is imaging it again but when he turns around, he sees izana in the white dress with black stripes laughing and dancing then disappears. Akai- You ok nagate what are you looking at?
Nagate- Nothing I thought I heard something. Akai- I gotcha you look a bit exhausted will let you get some rest. Nagate-Thank you. Nagate then sees Izumo grab yuhata's arm with her yelling Oh come on Izumo this is so not fair. Before Izumo says anything nagate butts in and says Why don't you come by my room later with your computer there something I need your help with. Yuhata while blushing replies with ok then goes with her brother. Nagate and hoshijiro then head out while she asks nagate a question. Hoshijiro- Nagate I was wondering why did you ask her to come to your dorm? Nagate- I need her help to examine my arm. Hoshijiro- Is there something wrong with it. Nagate- Maybe but I won't know until she takes a look at it. Hoshijiro- Ok. Nagate- I got to go all catch you later. Hoshijiro- Ok catch you later.
Nagate head back to his dorm and once there he starts drawing out the visions he's been seeing. Hours go by until he hears a knock on the door, he goes to open it and sees that its yuhata. Yuhata- Hi Nagate. Nagate- Hi its yuhata right? While walking in she says right. Yuhata- So what do you need help with? Nagate sits on his bed and says I need you to run a scan on my arm for anything. Yuhata replies with shore then unpacks her gear and hooks it up to his arm. She then begins scanning his arm then asks what exactly am I looking for and why? Nagate- To be honestly I'm not entirely shore something is definitely there corrupting my memories and also you brother mentioned you've hacked into restricted area so I bet you must be the best. Yuhata with a smile says- Indeed I am. I was going to ask why would someone want to corrupt your memories?
Nagate- Possibly to hide something or make me believe something else. Yuhata looks at her computer then says well it must be something huge if they don't want you to know. Nagate scoots over and says you find something? Yuhata- I did like you said it's definitely a virus but wait this can't be. Nagate- What is it? Nagate- This is one of Sidonia old ai protype programs, but this is one has been completely rewritten. Nagate- Can you get rid of it? Yuhata- Maybe but not without damaging more of your memories. Nagate- What do you mean? Yuhata then shows nagate her screen to explain. Yuhata- This virus is deeply embedded in your memories and removing it without knowing the consequences could damage them since your arm is linked to your body. The software in your arm is trying to stop it but every time it tries to reset the memories so you can remember the virus prevents it. Nagate- That what that shock must have been when I tried to access it.
Yuhata- Exactly. I can come up with anti-virus to help get rid of it but that's going to take time I need to find the right properties they used for the virus. Nagate- Just be careful and don't tell anybody about this not yet. Yuhata with a curios look says How come? Nagate- I think the captain and her followers may have something to do with it. Yuhata- You really think the captain had something to do? Nagate- I'm not really shore but the truth is I don't, I don't feel like I can trust her she's hiding something, and I need to find out what it is. Yuhata stands up then replies with what are you planning on doing nagate? Nagate- I need to sneak into my ship without her knowing. Yuhata- But how though that place its under is guarded 24/7 and is under the classified areas which means top level security. Nagate- I don't know all figure something but for now we keep this quiet. Yuhata- ok. I should probably head back its getting late. Yuhata packs up her computer then says see you later and heads back to her to dorm to turn in for the night and so dos nagate.
Nagate tosses and turns for a bit then looks at his journal of the drawings he drew. Some of the drawings he drew terrify him then out of nowhere he remembers the name of the race he saw. Nagate- Dredge so that what your called. What is you want? He looks through them one more time until he sees the picture of izana he drew in the dress. He sees how beautiful izana is and says why do I keep seeing you in my visions where we friends in my universe or more than that. He thinks about it for a while then falls asleep. The next day he wakes up early to go for a run he quickly changes then goes through his bag to find his music but instead notices dozens of big and small papers in them. He then zips it up and heads for the park, once there he finds a place to sit and starts looking at the papers, he sees only dots and lines then realizes that they are all-star charts each one with a different piece then he starts to realize something. He pulls out his journal of the drawings he made from his dream and goes to the page of the sphere ship he drew. In his head he says what is so special about these star charts, was I looking for something in my past life? he questions himself even more and his trust in the captain then decides to pack up and head back to his dorm while packing he sees a picture slide out from his bag, he grabs it then after looking at it he is shocked to see who it is. Before he could look at it anymore four people in black ninja outfits come out of nowhere surrounding nagate with swords in their hands.
Ninja- Nagate surrender the map or perish. Nagate forms an angry face and pulls out his blaster to fire but one of the ninjas manages to knock it out of his hand. Ninja- Nice try now surrender the map. The ninjas start to close in on him but then all of sudden a small like sword pops out from nagates artificial arm. Nagate- Wow a phaser sword I didn't even know my arm was equipped with one. While nagate looks at his sword the ninjas move in on him. Ninja- Take him down retrieve that map. In unison the ninjas say roger. Nagate reacts quickly and manages to block the attack but when he dos his phaser sword cuts through the ninja's sword. Ninja- What the how did you before the ninja could finish his sentence nagate punches the ninja knocking him out. Second ninja- You'll pay for that. The ninja attacks nagate but nagate reacts quickly and cuts the ninja sword then kicks the ninja in the stomach. Nagate gets into a defense poss. and says anybody else want some? The Ninja leader charges at him with 2 swords but nagate manages to dodge them and cut them in half.
With an angry face the ninja leader says fall back. You better watch your back from now on we will have that map and you'll end up with a bullet in you. The ninja throws down a smoke bomb blinding nagate and them disappearing. Nagate looks to see they have disappeared then looks at his sword and is amazed at it then the sword goes back into his arm. Without any thought nagate makes a run for it back to the dorm area while running he is left with more questions what did those ninjas want and what did they mean by map. When he gets back to his dorm area, he sees izana nearby he starts to walk to izana but then sees mako with izana talking then puts a hand under izanas shirt. Mako- Come on babe why don't we take this to the next level and maybe share some of more those secret projects that's going on. Izana- I'm not ready yet mako please I don't want to rush this, and you know I can't anymore.
Mako forms a disappointing face then replies with fine whatever and walks away right past nagate. Nagate goes to izana to talk to her but izana walks away before nagate could speak to her. Instead nagate follows mako but from a distance, he manages to catch up and sees mako with sakiko talking. Mako- what happened what went wrong? Sakiko- There was a complication they couldn't get the map. Mako- Its fine as long as he doesn't know then the plans can still proceed just like she said. Nagate tries to listen more on the conversation but is spotted by mako but mako doesn't realize its him and nagate makes a break for it. After losing them on one of the floors he heads straight for the dining area and sees Hiyama there. Hiyama- Ah nagate there you are enjoying your day.
Nagate- Of the sorts where is everyone isn't it their weekly meal today. Hiyama- They've all gone to eat at the gravity festival. Nagate- Gravity festival oh that right I remember hoshijiro talking about that. Hiyama- Why don't you go check it out there's a lot good and tasty food there. Nagate- I will but first there's something I need you to do. Hiyama- What is it? Nagate reach into his bag grabs the maps and gives them to Hiyama. Nagate- Can hold on to these for me and keep them safe? Hiyama takes them and replies with I will but what are these? Nagate- I believe their star charts for a map but I'm not shore where the map leads to and four people in ninja outfits attacked me and tried to steal it.
Hiyama with a surprise look says What you were attacked are you hurt? I'm fine if it weren't for my sword, they would have the maps. Hiyama then goes over and hugs nagate. Hiyama- I will speak to the captain about this later so this doesn't happen again. Nagate hugs her back and says - Ok but don't tell her about the maps please I don't want her to take them away. Hiyama- It's a promise. Nagate- Thank you. I should probably go change before I go to the festival don't want people staring at me like this. Hiyama-ok Nagate then heads back to his dorm then changes into his school uniform. While nagate changes Hiyama leaves and speaks with the captain in person. Once there Hiyama in an angry ton says What's going on Kobayashi why was nagate attacked earlier? Kobayashi- What are you talking about? Hiyama- Nagate told me that he was attacked earlier by four people that look like ninjas was this your doing?
Kobayashi- No I had nothing to do with that, but I believe the anti-protesters where responsible not a lot of them were happy when the gauna showed up on the same day as him. Hiyama- But still it makes no sense. Kobayashi- Was there something they wanted from him? Hiyama was going to tell her about his maps but then remembers the promise she made with nagate and says no he only said they attacked out of nowhere. Kobayashi- Very well, Hiyama turns around and says- I need to head back now you need to tell nagate the truth before it's too late after Hiyama leaves Kobayashi thinks about what she said then presses a button on her wrist com a small holographic monitor pops up with a Ochiai. Ochiai- You called mam? Kobayashi- I want you with me when I go see the immortal council. Ochiai- Understood.
Back with nagate he changes out into his uniform then grabs his bag and heads out. He arrives at the village and is amazed at how big and beautiful it is while walking he gets a whiff of something and follows the smell up a flight of stairs. He comes across a food stand and is amazed at how good it looks he asks for a plate, but the waiter replies with that will be a hundred yen. Nagate with a surprised face replies with oh shoot I'm sorry I don't have any. Before he could say anything else hoshijiro comes behind giving the person some money and saying I'm buying his and one more. The Waiter takes the money and says Very well. She then looks at nagate and says hello nagate. Nagate while blushing says hey hoshijiro you look nice in that dress. Hoshijiro- Thank you. They are then handed their food then find a bench to sit.
Nagate- Thanks hoshijiro this looks delicious, Hoshijiro- No problem, Nagate- Let dig in, WOW this is fantastic. With a smile hoshijiro says really, I'm glad. Nagate- I can't stop eating it. Hoshijiro laughs a bit then says I heard back from the hospital that Kunato has awaken and will make a full recovery. Nagate- That's good to hear but what about Yamano? Hoshijiro tightens her grip around her plate and says Her brother said she won't be able to fly again in her condition, but she is getting better slowly. Nagate- If she won't be able to fly again what will she do then. Hoshijiro- Her brother said once she's better he's going to take her back home so her family could look out for her for a bit. Nagate- That good at least she has family. After saying that he looks down with a sad look and hoshijiro sees something bothering him. After they finish, they return their plates hoshijiro asks if he's, ok? Nagate- I'm ok I just miss my family.
Hoshijiro- Where is your family? Nagate- I don't know I have a mom but I'm not shore if she's ok. Hoshijiro- What about your dad? Nagate- Never knew him my mom never talked about him, and my mom is the only thing I can remember about my family. Hoshijiro- I see, well maybe you'll reunite with her someday. Nagate-I hope so. Nagate and hoshijiro continue to talk while they continue izana is on the other side of the walkway with an apple treat wondering where mako is. She turns a corner to see a couple but is then knocked over by them and ends up getting stabbed by the stick from her apple treat in the leg.
Izana- Ahg hey what was that - wait mako? Izana sees mako with sakiko then Izana says Mako why are you with her? Mako with a grin says sorry but I found someone better than you and is more open than you ever were. Izana- What are saying? Sakiko walks over cups izana cheek and says what he's saying is he never really cared about you he cares about me more he only dated you so we can gain the secrets your grandmother new. After sakiko walks away Izana then begins to cry, and yells HOW COULD YOU I ONLY WAITED BECAUSE I LOVE YOU MAKO.
Sakiko then goes to mako, and they both form an evil grin then kiss each other saddened by this izana cries even more. While that's going on nagate and hoshijiro walk by then see what's going on. Nagate- Izana?, Hoshijiro- Mako, What's going on? They both then rush over to see what's happening. Nagate- Izana what's going on? Izana sees nagate behind her then says oh nagate then hugs him. He looks down to see a stick impaled in izanas leg,shocked at what he sees he says what happened? Izana looks forward and replies with mako happened. Nagate looks at mako then says You did this how could you aren't you in love with izana?
Mako- Oh please I only said it so izana would believe me plus izana would never want to do anything romantic because it wanted to wait to change into a girl and izana was so stubborn about it was so pathetic. Sakiko- Pathetic indeed. Without hesitating nagate runs forwards and punches mako in the face. Sakiko, hoshijiro and izana are shocked at what just occurred then nagate forms an angry face and says how could you? Mako looks up angry with a bloody nose then nagate continues- Izana cared about you, and you have the nerve to call her it she loved you. Before nagate could say anything else mako attacks him and pins him on the ground while twisting his left arm with hoshijiro in shock. Hoshijiro rushes over and says- Stop it mako you're hurting him but sakiko stops her from helping nagate. Mako-You dare try to lecture me brat. I only needed izana for information I never cared for izanas love and what would you know about it? Nagate- What I know is that what you did to her was wrong and if I were izanas boyfriend I never use her for anything Id care about her till the end. After saying that izana is surprised and blushing at what he said.
Sakiko replies with You be izanas boyfriend hah don't make me laugh then pushes hoshijiro then starts to approach him. Sakiko- Izana will never find her true love because it is so stubborn, and it will be alone. Nagate gets angry then yells that enough. All of a sudden, his artificial hand fires out his arm hitting mako in the face again then slaps sakiko in the face. Nagate- Don't ever talk about izana like she's an object. Nagate hand then flies back into his arm then he walks towards izana to help. Izana while teared up says nagate I?
Nagate- Let's get that stick out of you. He looks at izana wound then pulls out a red rag. Nagate- This is going to hurt a bit, Izana- ok Nagate- Hoshijiro can you hold down her leg. Hoshijiro- Yes, I can do that. She then holds down izana leg and nagate pulls out the stick with a small grunt from izana then wraps izanas leg with the rag tightly. Izana replies with thanks nagate then tries to stand up but stumbles a bit. Izana- My leg hurts a bit. Nagate- Let me help. He then grabs izana and lifts her up with hoshijiro surprised and izana blushing. While walking off nagate looks back at mako and sakiko then says If you ever hurt izana or come near her again all hurt you in ways you can't imagine. Mako with a bloody nose and angry face gets sakiko then walks off without answering. Twenty mins later they arrive at nagate dorm, and he then patches izana up with a bandage. Izana- Thanks nagate. With a smile Nagate says- No problem thatx what friends are for. He then looks at hoshijiro and says Hoshijiro thank you for the food. Hoshijiro- Your welcome nagate, I hope you get better izana. Izana- Thank you Hoshijiro. Hoshijiro-I should probably get back to my dorm now. She gets up and nagate replies with ok, Hoshijiro thank you for before. She bows then begins to leave but then remembers something. Hoshijiro- Oh nagate I almost forgot. Nagate looks up to see her reaching into her small purse then pulls something out.
Hoshijiro- When I saw you running earlier this fell out of your bag. She hands him a small looking disk-shaped object. Izana- What is that thing? Nagate examines it then says I'm not really shore I've never seen this before or what it was doing in my bag. Did it do anything when you had it with you? Hoshijiro forms a nervous look then says nope it didn't do anything it's been like that the entire time. Nagate with a confused look say ok then puts it in his bag then hoshijiro says see you later and while leaving she forms a sad face with a tear forming. Izana- What was that about? Nagate- I'm not really shore. Afterword's izana sees his journal then asks what's this. Nagate sees izana with it then responds with oh that ah. Izana sees the pictures he drew and asks what are these drawings? Nagate- They're from my dreams and visions I've been seeing. The race I keep seeing their called the dredge. Izana- Dredge?
Nagate- Their an energy race from my universe and I keep seeing them destroy a planet, but I don't why though. Izana- I'm sorry nagate. Nagate- Its ok. Izana then goes to the last page of his journal then blushes at what she sees. Izana- Hey ah nagate. Nagate-yeah, Izana turns his journal and asks- what's this one? Nagates face turns bright then says oh that's ah something I thought would look nice on you is it weird, its weird right? Izana- No its not weird it beautiful. Nagate looks up with joy and says really? Izana- Yeah, it's the most beautiful dress I've ever seen I like it. While blushing nagate says thank you then izana gives him his journal back. Izana then reaches for the remote and says-Oh I almost forgot I wonder who won the match?
Nagate- Match? Izana-Every gravity festival there's a gravity cup where pilots get to face off against each other and it looks Akai team won. Nagate- Are they the best in Sidonia? Izana-They're not just the best their all aces. Nagate- That's amazing if I had known about it I definitely would have entered. While watching they hear a knock at the door then once open to izanas surprise it Akai. Akai- hello again, izana- Ah Akai, Nagate- Akai what's up? Akai- Sorry to barge in on you like this. Nagate- It ok. Akai- My team and I are having a having a special dinner tomorrow at the Laputa and we were hoping if you would be able to join us.
Izana all excited says- WOW nagate he invited to go the Laputa. Akai- Oh you can come to as well. Izana-What, do you really mean it oh thank you. Nagate-The Laputa what's that? Akai-You'll have to wait and see for yourself come by early and make shore to have a change of clothes. Izana- We will sir thank you. After Akai leaves izana dances in excitement then exits nagates dorm and says I'm going to head back to my dorm to pack thank you for saving me nagate then heads back. Nagate replies with your welcome then lays down to go sleep.
