IREENE'S POV

Me and Gaara were at the local restaurant "This is delicious" I groaned in delight, inhaling the food "I never had food as good as this in any village I've been to" he gave a small smile

"That's nice to here" he muttered.

She give him a small jab "hehe nice, that's the only thing I get" she said. "C'mon, I know you can come you with something better than 'that's nice' like really" I chuckled

We finishing up and then we headed to Garra's place for a sleepover.

When we got there Kankuro was playing with his puppets and Tamari was making dinner. "Kon'nichiwa Temari-san, Kankuro" I greeted as I glared at the boy with purple face paint

"uh, hi Irene-Chan" Temari replied

"hey weirdo" the puppet master causally retorted, I sent him a hard glare

"says the one playing with dolls" I retorted with a small smirk, then asked the blonde female "What are you making Temari-san?" I could see Kankoru start to fum in the background

"udon noddles, Gyōza(dumplings) and teriyaki fried chicken" the spiky blonde answered

"It smells good." I commented

"Arigatō(thank you) Irene-Chan"

I turned to the redhead "C'mon Garra let's go do something until Temari-san's done with the delicious food. Ok." I said "I mean we already ate not long ago yes, but I can never pass up good food. Ya'know." I stated

3rd POV

After dinner the two went to the Gara's bedroom, they hung out for a bit until Irene soon fell asleep.

The redheaded male looked down at the female's passed out figure as she rested her head in his lap. He stiffen at first but then relaxed; resting his hand on her silky blood red hair, playing with it bit and hoping it would stay like this forever.

IRENE'S POV-FEW MONTHS LATER

I was at the front gates saying my farewells to the Gaara and his siblings

Garra was holding my hand, a bit tight at that "hey" I turned to him "-Lets make a promise, a promise that no matter what we'll always be friends and no matter what happens we'll stay friends" I said giving a little peck on the side of his cheek. making him turn a slightly blush dusted pink "Can you promise me that?" I smiled at the darker redhead.

"And you two" I turned to the two older siblings "Watch Garra until I come back. Ok." I said.

"You got it kid" Kankuro said

"Take care Irene-chan" Temari said

"I will" I replied. Turning to the redhead "I'll miss you my favorite panda-chan" I said, staring into his vibrant sea form green orbs before Tasogare jumped between us "oh, it seems that someone else want to say goodbye" I chuckled, picking up the pup in my arms and smiled cheekily with a tilt of my head. The pup smiled its dogie grin at the redhead making a soft, small smirk appear on his face.

Lena and I were walking though the land of fire as we recently visited Suna again to say hi for a bit and I wanted to see how my panda-chan was doing

We walked a few more miles through trees and forests when suddenly several fast objects came flying in our direction

Lena quickly teleported us out of the line of fire "You ok, Ireene-Chan?" She asked, I nodded 'yes' and then turned towards the unknown assents "They must be some type of ninja" Lena said pulling out the shuriken.

"Lena-san! behind you!" the bandits threw some more shuriken at the two of us when Mikamo came in and deflected the shuriken and kunai, landing in front of them

"Mikamo-Nee, thanks" I grinned

"Don't sweat it" she brushed off forming some hand signs causing rain started to falling.

"Rain?!" Mikamo nodded "yes this technique can drain ones chakra." I tilted my head in slight confusion. "Oh right, I didn't tell you about chakra yet" she muttered. "I'll tell ya later, but let's just say you don't want to be caught up in this jutsu." she said with a bit of a wave.

"Don't sweat it" I Said forming some hand signs 'Water style: Chakra absorbing rain'

"Rain?!" Ireene asked, I nodded, and relied "yes this technique can drain ones chakra." she tilted her head quizzically. "Oh right, I didn't tell you about chakra yet" I muttered to myself. "I'll tell ya later, but let's just say you don't want to be caught up in this jutsu." she retorted with a bit of a wave.

"Your a ninja." one of the assailant said but came out more like a question

"So you just thought I was another defenseless girl. hmm, I'm hurt" I bluntly and mockingly, tilting my head tauntingly. tying my a headband under my bangs "And I advise you to flee now"

"and why would we do that" the other one retorted

"Because if not-" I throw a twirl a kunai between my fingers, throwing it inches from their heads "-now you better take this opportunity of mercy, because I might not be so generous next time" I simply said with a deadpan stare.

"ha." they laughed "You think someone like you could defeat us. your nothing but a little, pathetic, and weak girl" he taunted

I teleported behind them, placing the cold steal on their necks making them slightly flinch "I could kill you right now if I wanted to." I said lowly and meaning "but I being nice, so you better scram while you have the chance to hang on with your feeble lives." I said press in harder, showing them I mean business, and am not hesitant to end then. Then a moment latter I pull back my kunai slowly as fear set in and they scurried away into the dense forest. "The cost is clear" I called out

"Makomo-nee that was amazing." Irene cheered! "when can you teach me that?!"

"yeah kido" I said ruffling her hair as we started to walk into fire country territory.

"You have the map backwards! AGAIN!"

"oh, I knew that" I said playing it cool and brushing it off as I flipped said map

"Why do we keep giving her the map?!" I herd rin mutter as the bluette gave a slight shrug.
