Josh looked at his girlfriend waiting for a response "Yes!" Maya practicallyscreamsbefore jumping on Josh and coveringhis face with her lip gloss. Josh had a real ring in his jeans that he had given to her after the whole ordeal but Maya loved the paper ring just as much as the real ring. "You know Shawn is going to killyou right?" She joked poking him under the table "I know Maya" he sighed as he payed the bill for dinner "I don't want to die at the hands of your father but I guess I will.."
After they left they both got intothe cab Josh had gotten them and listened to Maya hum along to the music playing "I want to drive away with you" she sang and laughed as Josh's cheeks turned a slight red. The cab stopped in front of joshes apartment building and he helped Maya out. As they walked up the steps Maya gave Josh a grin "let's go tell your parents." Josh raised a brow at her as he thought about what they would tell his parents "what?" He chuckled. she held up her hand "that you proposed?" Josh had a look a realization and they ran to the subway to go to tell his parents the big news.
