Chapter 12 Sad Digimon

Ren, Motoyasu and Itsuki were together at the forest with Malty at they're side.

"So they kidnapped the princess?"Itsuki said.

"Yes, we need to save her."Motoyasu said.

"But how are we going to do that when they have those creatures?"Ren said.

Then walking past them was a Kotemon, Dracomon and Lalamon.

They got surprised and looked at them.

The trio stopped and looked at them.

"What?"Kotemon said.

"Are you by any chance these Digimon we heard about?"Ren asked.

"So?"Dracomon said.

"We would need your help, theres a group that has many of your kind and they are strong."Itsuki said.

"Well I guess."Lalamon said.

"Perfect, we can be friends."Motoyasu hugs Lalamon making her angry."I hope you bloom into a beautiful Angel."

Malty smirks and goes behind Kotemon, then she does the branding with a speed spell making her faster.

"Hey!"Kotemon said feeling the brush strokes but the moment it was finished it vanished becoming multiple particles shocking her.

He turns to her."What's the big idea painting my head."

Ren looks at the back and said:"I don't see it now."

"Lousy paint maybe."Kotemon said.

Malty grunts since she wanted to brand them to serve her Kingdom but it failed.

With the Shield Hero group.

The group was now at a place with ruins and Fitoria said:"I brought you here since I must know your reasons, why aren't you dealing with the waves instead of helping the princess."

"It's what real heroes do."Naofumi said.

"Real heroes?"She said.

"Yes, a hero doesn't simply go out and face monsters, he goes and protects the innocent and deal justice against evil, that's what a true hero is, to protect the peace."Shiro said.

"Then how would you deal with the waves without the heroes?"Fitoria asked.

"He has us."Dorumon said."We Digimon are much stronger than those things."

"That's right, real friends that you can trust will always be better."Kari said.

She thinks about it and said:"I see what your talking about."

"Then if you see you should understand that we need to stop that Church from making anymore damage."Naofumi said.

"Plus the Church will be sending they're corruption if we don't do anything."Judai said.

He then senses something wrong at the forest."What?!"He runs towards it surprising them.

"Judai wait!"Kari said and they went after him.

Judai runs foward as fast as he can and he then arrives a river to see a girl with green hair inside drowning, he jumps inside and swims foward, he then grabs her and pulls out of the water.

He takes her out of the water and performs cpr, he presses down on her chest and gives her mouth to mouth."Come on."He presses her chest again and gives her air.

She then coughs spitting out water, then the others came and they saw her.

"Wait, wasn't she with the Bow hero?"Raphtalia said.

She looks at Judai."Why did you save me?"

"What?"He got confused.

She then cries and said:"I'm worthless."

Rino looks at her and said:"She must suffered from her party too, I remember seeing her being used as an errand girl."

"What's your name?"Judai asked.

"Rishia."She said.

"What happened?"Jin asked her.

"The bow hero kicked me out, I was framed for breaking his bracelet."She said.

They got shocked to save it.

"Even after I did so much for him after he saved my life, he just kicked me out."She cries even more.

Judai looks at her and got angry, that bastard kicked out one of his own, someone that was trust worthy yet he got the ones that are arrogant.

A glow appeared and they saw a small bee Digimon surprising the Shield Hero group.

"Rishia."She opens her eyes and sees FanBeemon."It's okay."

"Who are you?"Rishia asked.

"I'm FanBeemon, I'm your friend now."He presses his head at hers making her hug him.

Judai looks up and said:"I think it's time we pau a visit."

At another part of the forest

Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki were together looking around and Ren said:"Are you sure they are here?"

"Yes."Motoyasu said.

"Well let's put them in they're place."Itsuki said.

"That's what we are suppose to say."They looked back and saw Judai and the others with Rino not being there to look after Rishia.

"So you all came."Ren said.

"Yeah to kick your ass."Judai takes out his swords.

"Hey you guys come out."Motoyasu said and the three Digimon helpers came surprising the group.

"These idiots have digimon."Naofumi said.

"Wait a moment, they're not really they're partners."Gatomon said.

"Let's just deal with this."Dracomon said and they attacked.

Kotemon and Lopmon were fighting.

"Tiny Twister!"

"Hothead!"

Kotemon charges foward with fire coming out of his head and he clashes with Lopmon.

Impmon and Draco were also fighting.

"Baby breath!"

"Bada Boom!"

They fired fire attacks making them cancel each other out.

"Seed blast!"Lalamon shoots seeds.

"Dash Metal!"Dorumon fires too making the seeds get knocked away.

Naofumi blocks attacks from Motoyasu, Judai slashes at Itsuki making his arrows get destroyed and Raphtalia clashes with Ren pushing him back.

They fought for a long time until Darcmon came hitting the three enemy Rookies away.

Kotemon and Dracomon were on the ground while Motoyasu catches Lalamon and hugs her.

"My pretty little flower, I'll protect you."He said.

"Let me go, I can fight."She struggles.

Itsuki looks at Dracomon and said:"Fight him again!"

He grunts getting up.

Kotemon gets up and Ren said:"Kotemon you must defeat them."

"Why are you three listening to them?"Lopmon said.

"It's because we always wanted to be digimon partners of new digidestined."Kotemon said.

"But they're not even chosen, they are following a liars word about her sister being kidnapped and they have done terrible things."Lopmon said.

"What?"Kotemon got surprised.

"Fight her!"Ren hits Kotemon in the back of his head shocking the digimon.

Kotemon just stands there and then starts to sob, he looks back at Ren and he got shocked seeing him cry.

"Are you crying?"Ren said.

"Yes, what did you expect, you just hit me."Kotemon said.

"But that doesn't make sense, summons don't cry."Ren said.

"I'm not a summon, I'm a Digimon! You think this is nothing more than a game, I'm living being."Kotemon said.

Dracomon got angry and jumps up."Tail Smasher!"He hits Itsuki with his tail."Nobody makes my friend Kotemon cry."

Lalamon glares and said:"Petite Tackle!"She hits Motoyasu off of her."I can fight and no one does that to Kotemon."

"All I ever wanted was to be a great Digimon partner, but you just see me as some kind of pet."Kotemon said.

Ren flinches seeing his sad look.

"I don't want to be with you in fact I wanna go home."Kotemon said.

From the sky a portal opened surprising everyone.

Then Kotemon, Dracomon and Lalamon were all floating towards it.

"Where are they going?!"Itsuki said.

"Back to the digital world."Judai said."They're prayers were heard and after you abused them they don't want to be your partners instead wished to return to the digital world."

"That's right, so screw off you arrogant brat!"Dracomon said shocking Itsuki.

"Lalamon don't go!"Motoyasu said but she crosses her arms.

"Kotemon!"Ren calls out to him.

Kotemon looks at him before turning around shocking Ren and the three went back home with the portal closing.

"Kotemon."Ren falls down on his knees.

Naofumi looks at his shocked look in surprise, it was the first time that he saw Ren lose that cool guy persona of his and was looking miserable.

"Let's go."Judai said and they left the area while they area but he went to Itsuki and beat him up making the guy scream before running off too.

Ren just stands there since the person that wanted to be his friend is now gone because he treated him like some summon.

"Kotemon... I'm sorry."He cries a bit since this reminded him of his past with his old friend.

Note:Yeah Rishia is here sooner because Itsuki didn't need her after getting Dracomon, also the three idiots blew it in getting a Digimon partner.
