The group went together foward, they had to avoid many different sightings, they arrived at a open field and Naofumi said:"We're almost there right?"
"We're getting close."Melty said.
But then a beam of light appeared making them dodge it, they then saw the members of the Church and in front of them was the Pope smiling.
"Well hello Shield Devil."He said.
"So the fake pope is here."Judai said.
"It's time that you'll be punished."He said.
They then attacked the group with Judai and Naofumi fight them off with Rino and Rishia attacking from a distance.
Impmon Digivolve to... Devimon!
Lopmon Digivolve to... Turuiemon!
Candlemon Digivolve to... Wizardmon!
Dorumon Digivolve to... Dorugamon!
Bulucomon digivolve to... Paledramon!
Elecmon digivolve to... Leomon!
Darcmon digivolve to... Hippogriffomon!

Then a the Digimon attacked the Knights pushing them back.
The Pope then takes out a sword making Melty shocked.
"But that's a holy weapon that was lost, it has the power of the legendary weapons."Melty said.
He then attacks them with a beam of light hitting everyone back.
Judai noticed that the sword he had was glowing red for some reason.
He then makes a staff hitting Naofumi back and then a Cathedral rises up trapping the group.
"We won't let you win!"Devimon said.
Devimon digivolve to... NeoDevimon!
Gatomon digivolve to... Angewomon!
Dorugamon digivolve to... Dorugreymon!
Turuiemon digivolve to... Antylamon!

All the Digimon changed and charged at the Pope attacking him with they're special attacks, he makes a shield with the staff and makes them go back.
"It doesn't matter I was chosen by God!"Pope said.
He the blasts them all with a red beam making the Digimon revert back to they're bases and hitting the others two.
"Dorumon!"Naofumi goes to his side picking him up.
Judai was holding Impmon and said:"Don't give up on me."
"I won't."He said.
Dorumon looks at Naofumi and said:"Looks like I'm not strong enough to help you Naofumi."
"Don't say that, we'll get out of this and be great Heroes."Naofumi said with a tear coming out of his eyes.
"Goodbye Shield Devil."Pope shoots a beam at them.
Naofumi looks at him and glares before the digivice glowed.
The blast hit them making explosion and they saw the shield fall down.
"Naofumi! Dorumon!"His friends called out.
Pope smirks but then he saw a light come out."What?!"
Then from the smoke came a figure and it stops revealing a new Digimon, standing there was a black armored figure and he was looking at the Pope with hate.
"Who are you?!"Pope said.
"I am Alphamon, the leader of the Holy knights."He said.
"Alphamon?"Kari said and she then remembers Omnimon and Magnamon.
"What happened to the Shield Devil?!"Pope said.
"I am him."He said shocking them."Dorumon and Naofumi have become one, forming me Alphamon."
"But that's impossible, the Shield shouldn't leave you unless you were dead."Pope said.
"I am too powerful for it."Alphamon said.
"What?!"Pope got shocked.
"The power that this world has is not enough to take hold of me, it can try as many times like it tried with the others but not this time, some call it a game but we digimon have been able to alter reality it self, so my friends be free from it grasp."He uses his power on his allies making them feel stronger and they're levels were much higher.
"Our strenght."Judai looks at himself.
The Pope shoots a beam but it got destroyed when it got close to Alphamon, he got scared and backs away before Alphamon appears in front of him.
Inside Naofumi was looking at him and said:"We will never forgive you."
"No, I was chosen by god!"The Pope uses the weapon as a sword but Alphamon catches it and breaks it in half shocking him.
He raises his arm making a purple energy blade appear."Divine Sword Grade Alpha!"He then slashes the Pope with so much that everything in front of him got destroyed.
Then everyone was seeing Alphamon through a orb that was recording it and they were all in shock, they were seeing a Knight that defeated the Pope with incredible power.
The group then saw the remains of the weapon still on the ground glowing before it made.a image of a golden head head with six eyes.
"Quartzmon!"Alphamon said before it vanishes.
"Quartzmon."Judai said.
He knows that Digimon very well, it was one so dangerous that they had to keep him as a egg but looks like he escaped.
Alphamon changes back to Naofumi and Dorimon who jumps to his arms making Naofumi smile.
Naofumi picks up the shield and checks it."It doesn't bind me anymore. It's just a weapon."
They then saw someone go up to them, it was a woman wearing royal clothing and purple hair.
"Who are you?"Judai said.
"I am Mirellia Q Melromarc."She said making them surprised.
Note: Here's the battle with the Pope, he only did so well because Quartzmon was helping him, Alphamon appears and he changed the rules, yes Digimon are that strong to alter the rules of Shield hero, like it doesn't matter if it's a game, games can be hacked and change with mods, Alphamon is so much more powerful than Medea that not even the world can restrain him, so he altered the code and made sure his friends would always be in they're strongest.
