Chapter 18 The Prophecy

The group was inside of Dark Trailmon as they enjoyed the trip.

Filo was looking outside with a big smile."It's all so amazing."

Darcmon smiles at her."It is, our home is much different back in Melromarc."

Naofumi looks around and said:"Where's Judai?"

"Oh he's in the next cart since he wanted to take a nap."Kari said.

"Was he tired?"Rishia asked.

"Well we're trying to protect princess Melty for a long time, he always kept watch so I guess he deserves it."Rino said.

"Yes, he's the digidestined of darkness, so his stamina is greater but he still needs to rest."Candlemon said.

"Like any of those nobodies can beat me and Judai."Impmon said.

"I'll go check on him."Kari goes to the cart.

Judai was lying down on the seats with his eyes closed, then someone comes out of his Digivice and goes up to him.

It was Ranamon and she was smiling."Oh cute, even when he's sleeping he's handsome, well since he's like this."

She leans foward with her lips ready to kiss him and a blush.

Kari then appears next to her."Hey Ranamon what's the big idea?!"Ranamon stops looking nervous.

Ranamon looks at Kari."Well I just wanted to give sugar a little surprise."

Kari goes up to her."No way he's my boyfriend!"

"No he's mine!"Ranamon argued with her and they glared at each other.

Judai opens his right eye to look at them, he sighs and sits up."They're doing it again."

Naofumi goes to his side and said:"Who is this girl?"

"She's Ranamon, she is one of the successors to the Ten Legendary Warriors and is the Warrior of Water."Judai said.

"How did you meet her?"Naofumi asked.

Judai then remembers how they met.

Flashback

Ranamon once was working for the evil Cherubimon, she was facing a group lead by Takuya with other members of her group helping her and they were in a forest.

"Now let's get out spirits."Grumblemon said.

But then the ground shakes making them surprised as a herd of Brachiomon came out.

"Brachiomons!"Mercurymon said.

"Where did all these Digmon appeared?"Tommy said.

"Look!"Koji points up.

They saw. Kimeramon looking down at them with the eleven year old Judai on top of it.

"Kimeramon."Arbormon said.

"But who's that other kid?"Grumblemon said.

Ranamon looks at Judai before she has hearts in her eyes, she puts her hands together and said:"Who's that hunk?"

"I am Judai, the Digidestined of Darkness."He said.

"No way, the Legend is true."Mercurymon said.

"That's right."Impmon came to his side."And I'm his partner."

"Hey do these Digimon belong to you?"JP asked.

"Why yes, I would suggest you all run now before they try and get you."Judai said.

"Let's go."Takuya said and they ran off.

Zoe looks at Judai and said:"Thanks."

"Get him!"Grumblemon said and the others charged at Judai.

Impmon digivolve to... Devimon!

Devimon comes down and claws them all away.

"I might not be that strong now, but the power I possess is enough."Devimon said.

"Plus with the number of Digimon we have it makes us have the advantage."Judai said.

Grumblemon charges at him but then Etemon comes down grabbing him by the nose."Nice try nosy."

"Let me go!"Grumblemon said but Etemon swings him around before throwing Grumblemon away.

"Blockade Seed!"Arbomon shoots many seeds.

"Brachio Bubble!"All the Brachiomons shoot bubbles hitting the seeds and the rest striked Arbomon back.

"Hmmm, it seems those Brachiomons together make a threat working together."Mercurymon said and he looks at Kimeramon."That Kimeramon can prove trouble with all these Ultimates and Champions. But I'm sure I can..."He lifts his mirrors.

But then something attacks him from behind making Mercurymon grunt."What?"He looks back only to get shocked.

He saw it was a Arcadiamon (Rookie) looking at him.

"Oh no, not a Arcadiamon!"Mercurymon said.

The others got shocked hearing that.

"That's right, I don't like using him as much because he can be dangerous but against you guys it's a necessary evil."Judai said.

The evil Warriors looked around but then a red slash came down pushing Arcadiamon away, Judai looks up and sees Duskmon.

"So the Legendary Duskmon is here."Judai said with his arms crossed.

"You are the Digidestined of Darkness, it seems the legends of your return has come true, but I won't allow you to let Arcadiamon absorb they're data."Duskmon said.

The other warriors ran with Ranamon looking at Judai and she smiles."Well he could be my king."She then goes off.

Judai goes down with his Digimon at his side.

"Well looks like they ran, at least those guys are safe."Judai said.

"Very good."Judai looks up and sees Daemon come down."You managed to scare them off."

"Yes, but why did you give me Arcadiamon?"Judai asked.

"Simple, as the Digidestined of Darkness your destiny is to rule over all the Darkness in the way you wish, some of those so called evil lords are nothing when you grow, your already bringing balance when your with the Digidestined of Light."Daemon said.

"I see."Judai said.

"So keep growing strong and you'll be the true Emperor of Darkness."Daemon said before he flies away.

"Looks like all Dark Digimon need me, either way it will be easy once I get more allies."Judai said.

"Still that guy was freaky."Impmon said."But I'll surpass him."

"I know you will Impmon, after all your my partner, but now let's go, we need to find Duskmon. That guy might have the Spirit of Darkness but he can't control it, only I can use that power."Judai smiles.

Ranamon was at her area and she was thinking about Judai."I wish I can be with him, well theres always next time."

Flashback ends

"So you fought her?"Naofumi said.

"Yes, but then she became my ally."Judai said."But she fell for me."

"Well lucky you."Naofumi smirks but Judai hits him in the back of the head.

At another place

The old man that was watching them was now in a dark forest, he comes down revealing that he is Barbamon.

"It seems Daemon's help from back then helped the Digidestined of Darkness, his power with the Dark Seed has made him grow even stronger, that other fool doesn't know who the true ruler of darkness is."

Flashback

Barbamon was at his temple looking at the books he has, the prophecy was starting and he was so happy.

Then the front door gets destroyed surprising him and from it came Bagramon with Laylamon and AxeKnightmon.

"You!"Barbamon said.

"Hello Barbamon."Laylamon said.

"So the famous demon lord is here."Bagramon said."You know what my visit here is for, join my army and help me conquer the Digital world."

Barbamon stares at him before he starts laughing surprising them."Me serving you... Don't make me laugh!"

"What?!"Bagramon got mad.

"Just because she joined you doesn't mean anything."Barbamon points at Laylamon making her grunt.

"Why are you doing this, don't you know that Bagramon is the true ruler of Darkness."She said.

"Not in this lifetime, no the true ruler of Darkness is here in the Digital World getting stronger as we speak."Barbamon said.

"Who is this so called ruler?!"Bagramon demanded.

"The Digidestined of Darkness!"Barbamon said shocking them.

"No, the Prophecy!"Bagramon knows about it very well making him angry.

"He's here."Laylamon said surprised.

"That's right, you have no rule over me! Once the true lord grows to his full potential you'll never know what hit you!"Barbamon laughs.

Bagramon tries to attack him but Barbamon uses his sceptor to blast them away and sends Laylamon away to another part of the world and she was changing back.

"Now, I'll be going."Barbamon then teleports away leaving Bagramon mad."Also heres a illusion of my vision of what I think the future will be."

Then a small window appears and it has a dark image before light comes out, there was a man wearing dark armor with a cape and helmet, behind him was a army of Digimon with one at his side.

"I will destroy him!"Bagramon said.

Flashback ends.

"He believes he can destroy the Digidestined of Darkness, fool he will win. The true enemy is Quartzmon."Barbamon said."Until then I shall watch as Judai grows."

Note:Here's a flashback how Judai got some of his Digimon and how many has, he has a herd of Brachiomon, Arcadiamon and Ranamon, Daemon and Barbamon both want Judai to grow stronger as the Digidestined of Darkness he will make all Dark Digimon have a better life when he's with Kari.
