(Chapter 5: Omshui II: False Masks)

Not very far away, Naruto, Sasuke, Kyatchi, and Riru had finally arrived on the large 'Island of Waterfalls' as it was known, "Hm… A lot larger than I had expected." Riru said as looked at the map of the Land of Waterfalls. Despite being a major CIty, Takigakarue itself only took up around 60% of the island, with the outskirts having military bases and smaller villages. "Definitely larger than Wave," he said, getting a small nod in return.

"Unfortunately, those cheap bastards at the base gave us a map of Takigakure without Taki itself being marked…" Kyatchi grumbled, looking over his friend's shoulder. Naruto sat up and put his hand to his chin, thinking "Well, It should be in a waterfall, right? So if we just look for a waterfall then we might find it." Naruto said, nodding his head. "That won't work." Sasuke said, correcting the red-head "This is the Land of Waterfalls you can find one around every corner. " he said confidently.

"You're right." Kyatchi started "There are thousands of Waterfall's here, it would take too long to search through every single one." Riru looked back down to their guide-map. "Well, we should just probably go to one of those villages and ask them." He said, pointing to an outskirt village 'Omshui'"

He narrowed his eyes as he routed their position to the town, which happened to be the biggest (Non-Taki) village on the Island. The Blonde Haired Fumetsu member also looked down and gave a small nod "It's fairly large… It could be near the entrance to Takigakure." He rolled up the map and pointed his finger south-east "Off to Omshui I suppose."

One small hour walk later (literally nothing happened)

"Ah, What a nice quaint place this is," Kyatchi said, taking a breath of fresh air as he gazed off into the town, where the townspeople were going about their day. "Is it just me, or does it feel even more… Misty here?" Naruto asked, narrowing his eyes as he attempted to look out to the other side of the village, but failed. Riru also did the same. "We don't have time for this, we need to be In Taki, quickly," Kyatchi said looking down at his watch, "Let's just head into town" he ordered with a grunt.

The two Fumetsu took the lead ahead of the two boy's "Hey Naruto'' Sasuke said quietly, nudging his friend "I don't really trust these guys…" He said, not taking his eye off the road ahead of him. Naruto for his part also kept looking forward, but his grin dropped and he slowed down his pace. "I don't either, but they haven't really done anything yet…" Naruto whispered, slightly gazing at his misty surroundings,

"Yet…" Sasuke repeated, grunting. Before he could respond with anything, Naruto heard the two Hunters stop ahead of them "I suppose this is it." Kyatchi said to Riru, who was grinning, "I suppose we should just ask someone where the entrance is now." the brown-haired Fumetsu member responded, and so they continued searching for the entrance to Takigakure

Naruto looked around at the VIllage In awe when the two older men called this place small, he had been expecting something even more quaint than 'Hosomen' But that was wrong, very wrong. He had only ever been to one place larger than this. 'It's almost like Konoha…' The boy thought back to his birthplace with a bit of sadness. 'No matter how many buildings Konohagakure had, no matter how much room it has, it always felt like a room with the walls closing In…' he thought with a frown. He looked over at Sasuke, who was keeping a keen eye on the two Hunter-Nin. As they continued to walk through the village the group observed the area and noticed the barren area around them. Causing Riru to give a mischievous grin.

Sasuke peered around the Village as well, taking note of the eerie emptiness of the area 'it's like a warzone…' his eyes narrowed slightly as if another similarity had crossed his mind, looking around he could definitely tell that people had been here not long before their arrival, sores deserted, a sense of urgent danger In the air.

"Eh? Kyatchi, It seems they've cleared out." Riru said in a joyful tone, causing the two boys in the back to sweatdrop nervously, The blonde Fumetsu member simply sighed "Perhaps they noticed the cloak of The Fumetsu…" The man pondered. Looking around he noticed that the place was a bit of a mess as if a fight had happened not long ago, "Or I guess it could be" his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone running at them yelling "Stop you criminal's!" the man screamed at the top of his lungs, running right for Kyatchi. The Blonde In mention turned around and frowned at the person running at him. He could immediately tell that the man was a Shinobi, he wore gray armor, with a headband on his forehead signifying he is from Takigakure, In his hand, a Katana pointed at Kyatchi. 'Hmm, Interesting' he said taking note of the man's beat up and bloodied appearance,

Despite the man's intention to stab him, Kyatchi didn't move, not because he couldn't but because the man was moving too slow to even hit him. "We got you now!" The Taki Shinobi said as he plunged his weapon towards Kyatchi, while closing his eyes, Naruto's eyes widened and he reached his arm out, attempting to stop the blade before it hit the older man. Although he quickly stopped as the sword's movement ceased. The Shinobi seemed just as surprised, as he opened his eyes. His blade had not hit the Fumetsu member, Instead, the blade was caught by Kyatchi. Who In return grunted and chuckled.

"Did you need me for something?" he said to the man who only started with a gaping face. Whatever the man's response happened to be seemed to be stuck In his throat as he realized he was now at the mercy of the person who he was ordered to stop. Kyatchi sighed and reached into his Cloak, "I know we're not exactly on good terms with Takigakure, but I don't think this attack was warranted" he said, glaring at his attempted assassin. Before the Taki Shinobi could defend himself, Kyatchi pulled out a weapon.

Naruto and Sasuke both narrowed their eyes attempting to see what the man was going to pull out, Naruto In particular was interested. And so he carefully observed as the man pulled out a…

'F…Fishing Rod!?" Naruto blanched as he saw what the man pulled out, It was a metal Fishing Rod. Even odder, RIru pulled out the same thing. 'T-Two Fishing Rods?' Sasuke thought with a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. Riru laughed as he looked down at the scarred Taki Shinobi

"What the hell made you think attacking us was a good idea, was it an order? Do your commanders hate you so much that they send you to fight us while you've already had your ass kicked?" Riru laughed again, "You're not even worth having your Chakra taken, looking at your pathetic condition." He grabbed the man by the throat and pulled him up "Please die quickly, you're annoying." he said as he started squeezing his neck, "H-hey, do you really need to kill him?" Naruto said as he reached out his hand to stop Riru, who in return just laughed and continued squeezing "He tried to kill my partner, this is only the natural response." The man attempted to plead for help, to no avail.

"Get your hands off him!" a voice said from behind the men, causing Naruto and Sasuke to quickly look behind them, only to see a group of around 6 Taki Shinobi running towards them. Kyatchi frowned and also turned, "More of you bastards? And you look just as bad." he said, seeing their bruised bodies. Riru stopped squeezing the neck of the man and sighed "Who the hell ordered this guy to attack us?" Riru said, glaring at the man.

"I did…" a deep and weary voice said from behind, looking behind them they saw a beat-up and a bandaged man with a cigarette loosely out of his mouth, alongside him a boy who seemed to be only a little bit older than Naruto and Sasuke, with messed up gray hair, and a pair of broken goggles on his head, there names being Kirisame Shoki, and Callan Vass respectively, behind them stood a rather large assortment of Shinobi, Kyatchi simply let out an annoyed glare at the men. "All this for us? I don't know whether to be happy you consider us this much of a threat or insulted that you sent the ones who already got their asses kicked," he said, slightly scoffing at the men, Riru also chuckled and let go of the man who he'd been holding on to. Naruto and Sasuke both looked slightly nervously at the confrontation between the Shinobi, both worrying for the worst. Before things could escalate the Uchiha spoke up.

"Uh…" he started off, getting the attention of the Shinobi there, who all turned to him. Despite feeling slightly off by all the heads looking at him his face showed none of it. "What happened here and what happened to you guys?" he asked cooly, pointing at the Taki Shinobi. Kirisame opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by the frustrated voice of the Gray-Haired Genin next to him "It was that BASTARD Fumetsu Scorpion Guy!" he yelled, obviously mad about his earlier loss, he continued to speak off Into a frustrated tangent about the man who beat him. However, the four outsiders had already stopped listening after the first part, Naruto, Riru, and Kyatchi all had their eyes rocketed up, and their jaws to the floor, Sasuke was only marginally better at hiding his surprise, although he did wonder why the duo of Fumetsu members was surprised he was here.

'Weren't they the ones who told us he was here?" Sasuke thought, looking at the Duo.

As for the duo, their brains could barely comprehend what they were being told 'He's here!? Why the hell Is he here!?' the two thought at the same time, both shocked at the Information. 'Is he here to steal our target?'

Naruto's thoughts were far off from the rest as he heard what the guy from Taki said 'He's so strong! How much was he holding back against me?' he asked himself. He took a step back, stifled with surprise, gaining the attention of the Commander.

"Are you with the Fumetsu?" the beat-up man asked the young teens, his eyebrow slightly raised. In return, the boys simply shook their heads. "Good, then stay back," he said as he turned his attention back to the two Fumetsu members, The Gray-Haired boy also turned his attention to them, the two Fumetsu Members slightly reeled back from the glare of all of the Taki Soldiers, as if they'd even done anything yet, Kyatchi, ever the diplomat simply waved his hands at the men.

"Woah, Woah… we're here to stop the guy who beat you up anyway!" he said, trying to salvage a peaceful way into Takigakure. His pleading didn't give any results as the Jonin activated his Kekkei Genkai and far quicker than they could tell, he rushed the yellow-haired boy and threw a punch at the Fumetsu members' faces, barely being blocked by the target. 'Damnit, I can't pull back my rod now…' Kyatchi thought as he let out a distinct groan, he also couldn't help but tell the ground felt more… wet? And he felt as if he was going to slip at any moment. Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other as they realized that this was going to end up In a fight. Kyatchi looked at Riru as if asking a question, only getting a small nod In response.

"Riru, Brat One, Brat Two… Go on ahead!" he yelled with a grin as if he was somehow having fun with his current situation. Sasuke didn't hesitate, simply thinking of the objective at hand, although he was starting to wish they had just gone to Konohagakure. Naruto on the other hand clearly was having difficulty leaving behind someone who had been so willing to help them. "Naruto, hurry up!" Sasuke yelled, already being a good while away from the Red-Haired boy. Naruto's eyes widened as he finally started to run.

"Not so fast you Idiot's!" Vass yelled as he bolted towards Sasuke, landing a right hook on the boy, and knocking him down, with him the Taki Shinobi also surrounded the men. Immediately after taking down Sasuke, he turned his head menacingly toward Naruto, and prepared to launch at him as well, however, before he could stop him, Riru appeared and grabbed Naruto 'Shit... I can only grab one… You better take good care of Target #3 Kyatchi….' he thought before making a B-line for the entrance to Takigakure… Naruto Immediately attempted to get out of the Older-Teens hands, obviously terrified of leaving his brother behind. "Sasuke!" The Red-Haired boy yelled with tears In his eyes, reaching his arm out as if reaching for his floored brother.

"Hey! Where are you asshole's going?" Vass yelled as he followed behind the escaping enemies, completely forgetting about his other target. Kirisame simply let a small frown on his face, still facing off against the Fumetsu member, who he had now confirmed was far weaker than Tamashi. 'Tch… That damn brat never learns, plus I neer told him to punch an Innocent.'

Sasuke finally got back up, although now with a very bloody nose, he looked towards the familiar voice yelling his name and immediately was brought back Into reality, also reaching his hand out towards his Whiskered-Friend "Naruto!" he yelled back.

But alas… the distance between the two continued to widen and widen, what the Duo of special boys didn't know was… They wouldn't see each other again for a long while.

(With Tamashi…)

In the bustling Hidden-Village of Takigakure, A young man walked. 'It took me a lot longer than I thought to make it into the Village, If only that bastard and his goons hadn't tried to stop me… Those two idiots could be here by now.' he thought as he looked around the very traditional Village, he hadn't been here for a long time, although he didn't have very many memories about it due to how young he had been then, he could certainly tell it had rebuilt since the Battle of Shichi, the Nation's first, and last battle. A battle that was so bloody for all participants, that it was one of the factors of Peace during the 'Third Great War' and also a fight that took place right in the center of the Island, destroying the whole village, and killing almost as many as the 'Kyu-Jigoku' Incident of Konoha that killed nearly Ninety-Thousand People, despite being nearly twice as large as Taki.

He could still see scars from the battle in the village, historical sites destroyed, memorials, and a very somber population. Despite it all, he still saw the village as quite nice, and also very quiet, 'Once this is all over… I might just Vacation here if I can affor-' he stopped as he heard a scream, a very rare sound in the middle of the day downtown Taki' so he observed where the noise came from.

"Get out of here you damn demon" he heard a lady say with emphasis on the ending, he saw the lady throw a tomato at a young-looking girl, barely missing her, Tamashi narrowed his eyes as he saw the girl backing up slowly, and a few other shop owners also starting to take notice. Although, That wasn't what caught his attention. What concerned him was the fact no one stepped in to help the girl, and worst of all, it seemed some also started yelling at the girl.

As he got closer he heard some more of what the people were saying.

"Damn Shibuki's word, if he won't make you leave, we will!" he heard someone say, as they clenched their hand into a fist. The girl just continued to back away. As the people surrounding her began to get more and more vicious and angered. She looked around and saw no one there to save her, at least not this time.

She felt herself bump into something behind her, and to her shock when she looked back she saw one of the angered shop keepers behind her, the man pulled his fist back and said "Go back where you belong." and he prepared to throw his punch.

"Eh? You realize you don't leave a good impression on visitors when you assault children, right?" the man turned his head, as did everyone else. And saw Tamashi with an obviously angry face. The man gulped, but steeled his nerves and spoke up, "Tch… of course, you're a tourist, you don't understand what this filth has done to our people." he said loudly, obviously trying to sound serious to the young foreigner.

"You're right, I don't know, but hurting a child Isn't ok…" he said seriously to the shopkeeper, 'a bit hypocritical for me to say that… but still' he thought, he sighed as he realized he was creating a scene for no reason.

"Now… just unhand the girl," Tamashi said as he glared at the people who surrounded the girl. The man who had been trying to hit her before faltered a bit, and everyone stepped back "F-fine, but we'll be telling Shibuki about this!" the man yelled before running off, and everyone else backed off at that moment. Tamashi just gave a deep sigh and decided to walk off without another word.

"W-Wait!" he heard from behind him, he turned and saw the girl from before, he noticed she had olive* skin and mint green hair, he raised his eyebrow. "Hmm… you need something?" he asked her. The Girl shook her head and started speaking "I just wanted to thank you for standing up for me… No one's done that before." she said as she bowed, "Ah, don't worry about It, those guys were being dicks." Tamashi said as he waved her off, "I guess I should at least introduce myself.." the girl started "Im Fuu, No last name!" she said with a grin. 'No last name?' Tamashi noted, but soon he spoke "Just call me Tamashi, I have a last name but it really doesn't matter…" the brown-haired boy said, Fuu nodded "That guy said you're a foreigner, do you need any help getting around the village?" she asked.

'Obviously, those two aren't here yet, and I don't really want to just sit around…'

"Sure…" he said, she grinned and took the lead.

The two walked around town for a while, with Fuu showing off the village's best sights and such, although Tamashi noticed she tended to avoid certain places, which sparked his interest as he remembered how people seemed to treat her.

"Say…" he asked, pausing as she turned around and gave him a questioning look. "Why do people seem to treat you so badly?" he asked. He quickly noticed how pale she got, "I-It's nothin' that really matters!" she said frantically. As she continued the tour.

Before they could get too far though Tamashi watched someone appear In front of them. He immediately could tell it was an ANBU Black Ops from Taki, given how they were dressed, "Girl, Foreigner… Lord Takikage has requested you to appear at his office…" Tamashi narrowed his eye's his distrust of village leaders being shown Fuu on the other hand seemed… excited, before her eyes widened and she realized why he wanted them to appear.

Tamashi simply raised his eyebrow at the ANBU, "Me, too?" he asked the masked Shinobi, "He simply wants to meet you, that's all." the ANBU said with an emotionless voice, Tamashi sighed but decided it was ok to go.

The ANBU guided the two to the center of the Village Hidden In the Waterfalls, where a large building stood, which Tamashi was sure was the Office of the Takikage the Black Ops led the two into the building and walked Tamashi and Fuu to the office, 'This should be interesting.' Tamashi thought with a frown, anticipating his first Meeting with a Kage, the two entered the building and Tamashi was met with a relatively young-looking man, perhaps in his 30's to early '40s at most, who wore the Robe that the Fumetsu member would have imagined a Takikage or any other Kage to wear, the man looked up from the paper's he was reading as he saw their arrival.

"Ah, Fuu and…uh?" he said as he looked at the browned-haired foreigner with a questioning stare, "Oh, just call me Tamashi… L-Lord Takikage" he answered the leader. Slightly stuttering at the end due to the formality.

The man smiled and waved him off. "Simply call me Shibuki, Young Man." He said lightly, Tamashi's eyes widened as he remembered the man In the mob speaking of a Shibuki. "Thank you, Sir," he said, Shibuki slightly frowned as the man still spoke to him formally, but he continued.

"I wanted to call you here to thank you for protecting Fuu…" he said to Tamashi, shaking his hand "Not many people who aren't directly ordered by me would do so." Tamashi simply nodded, "I saw someone attack an Innocent person… So I intervened." The boy said, waving off his compliment, "And you…" he said, narrowing his eyes at the Mint-Haired Girl, who winced a bit at his harsh tone. "Y-yes Shibuki?" she answered timidly.

The Kage got up and walked over to Fuu, the room going deathly quiet, "Remember" he whispered before hitting her on the head.

"How many times have I told you that pranking and blowing up fruit stands Isn't the way to get people to like, or respect you, If anything you're only hurting your reputation!" he said harshly, but also lovingly. What no one noticed was Tamashi slightly recoiling at the mention of a prank

'damn brat's…never again.' Tamashi thought as his depression came out in full force.

"But!" Fuu started before being silenced by another bonk from Shibuki stopped her. "But nothing! I care too much about you to punish you for property damage… but I am Takikage, and the people complain every time you even enter the Village" Shibuki said, with obvious conflict in his voice. Tamashi, who was by now listening again. Looked at the two

"C'mon Shibuki, You know they'll never accept me!" she said loudly at him. He simply sighed and looked at the girl, silencing the Village leader. "I'm just going to go home…" she said as he ran out of the room. Tamashi, who had no idea what was going on, could still tell there was an obviously big situation surrounding Fuu, although he was still too dense to realize what it was.

Shibuki sighed as he put his hand on his desk, he looked at Tamashi. "I needed to talk to you for two reasons," he said as he eyed the foreigner, who in response just raised a single, questioning eyebrow. "It's abnormal for the Fumetsu to come here…" he started, glancing at the boy's cloak "Normally we would have detained you already, as we don't have any agreement with the Bounty Association, as well as you attacking my Shinobi, But. I wanted to personally ask you why you were truly here before I jumped to any conclusions…" he ended, glaring Tamashi in the eye, "eh? What makes you think I have any motive for being here?" he said, narrowing his glance.

The Takikage looked at the man blankly for a few seconds before sighing and closing his eyes. 'I can't just imprison him without proof… even if he fought Shoki… I don't need the Fumetsu on me right now… I need to figure out their intentions with this for now.' he rubbed the bridge of his nose as he opened his eye's back up "Fine… since you helped someone important to me.. I suppose I can let you go for now, and if your word's to Kirisame are true, I'll let you go." he said, waving off the Hunter-nin. Tamashi scoffed as he walked away from the Kage.

'How the hell could that kid be so hated?' Tamashi pondered as we walked out of the building.

Meanwhile, away from our other heroes. Naruto and Riru had finally passed through the Great Waterfall and arrived on a bridge connecting the entrance from Omshui to Takigakure, trailing a ways behind were Vass and a group of around 10 Genin and Chunin.

"GET BACK HERE YOU BASTARDS!" Riru and Naruto both heard from the leader of the chasing group, Riru looked back with a sweatdrop as the yelling gray-haired boy, still keeping a tight hold on the red-haired boy who happened to be completely silent, other than a few low sniffles. The Fumetsu member looked back ahead and saw a guard post that seemed to divide Omshui and the main Village. Squinting his eyes he observed that it seemed the guard post had been run through already 'Thanks, Tamashi.' he said to himself sarcastically as he crossed the already destroyed entry point, with the Shinobi and Callan following not far behind.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING SLACKING OFF!" The Steel-Boy yelled as he passed by the two-Guards who had obviously failed to stop the last intruder, he didn't even bother to stop and listen to their excuse, and so they continued chasing down the rouge-nin.

Finally, they arrived on the other side of the bridge and Riru's eyes widened as he saw the village of Takigakure for the first time "This place is big…" The brown-haired Fumetsu member muttered as he finally crossed Into the village. Now In a more crowded area at the front of the Village, Kyatchi frantically looked around the more urban area as he started to run throughout the Village, going from street to street, creating a scene as the Taki Shinobi followed close behind, Riru once again glanced around the environment, still holding on to Naruto, before finally landing his eyes on a back alley a few feet away. Before he could make his turn he heard a yell from behind him. "Doton: Rock Bullet Jutsu!" The Genin yelled furiously as he kicked the gravel road full force, creating a loud sound from the impact. RIru looked back, eyes widened 'What a persistent Idiot…' he thought as he saw dust being kicked at him. He pulled out his fishing rod with his free hand and before the bullets could be sent at them, he cast his rod, catching a nearby empty cart, he then shifted his weight and drifted on the ground, pulling the rod as fast as he could to fling the empty cart to the right place. And so as he quickly slid around to the back alley they became shielded from the rock bullets, which all went right through the cart, kicking up dust.

'This guy!' Vass thought as he turned the corner with his men, only to see no one. 'He must have gone to the roof, damn it…. He could be anywhere now' The Genin simply gritted his teeth as he turned to the Chunin and Genin who had followed him.

"Fan out, he could be anywhere In the Village!" He barked out to the others, while some instantly compiled, others did not. "Eh? Why should we follow your lead now? you're just a Green Genin!" he heard one of the Chunin say In discontent, Callan only scowled as he looked at the men and women "EH?" he shouted, either In genuine confusion or in anger. "This guy is getting away from me… I mean you, so who gives a damn about rank right now? FAN OUT!" He once again barked and clenched his fist at the Soldiers, who immediately scrambled away In defeat, before he himself jumped onto the wall and threw himself up to the roof, 'I'm not losing this time…' he thought to himself as looked over the village.

While the Shinobi of Takigakure went on to find the Fumetsu member, their targets were closer than they seemed, as only a few moments away, Riru stood with Naruto In his arms, hand over the boy's mouth, "Hah… That guy has spunk for a slave" Riru said to himself, before he could think about his next move, he felt the Red-Haired boy bite down on his hand as hard as he could "GAH, you bastard!" he yelled as he dropped the boy, who gave him a punch to the stomach "How the hell could you leave your own brother?!" Naruto yelled at him with tears In his eyes, Riru curled his eyebrow up, but soon gave out a tired sigh as he looked at the younger child. "I just wish I would have been able to grab your friend too…" The Older boy clenched his arm on his shoulder with a tiny grunt of pain, pausing as he gazed away from Naruto, who had taken it as him having guilt. "That's not the point! You left your own brother there to die, how could you do that without care?" He asked as he clenched his fist, looking at the man. Before he could continue he felt a threatening glare coming from the Fumetsu member.

"tch… you think I don't feel bad about it? When you see the world for what it truly Is…When you see the people who have control… the monsters who have power… you'll learn that sometimes you have to make sacrifices to accomplish your goals. If we don't accomplish our goal here, my… our freedom will be out of reach, sometimes doing what you don't want to do is a part of reaching your dreams!" The Hunter-nin said in a loud, but still hushed voice, his eyes slightly widened when he realized he had gone off on a tangent, he sighed. Turned around and said In a quiet voice, "Kyatchi Is smarter than me… He'll be fine." he said before signaling Naruto to follow him. "Can you wall-run?" he asked the boy, who nodded 'He's good for someone who's not even a Genin yet… I have to keep it In mind.' The Brown-Haired Teen thought to himself before they began jumping from building to building In a stealthy fashion.

Riru turned to the boy who was following closely behind, "Will your friend be ok back there?" he asked the Red-Haired Uzumaki, who let out a dumb grin "He'll be just fine… He may look like someone cool, but he has no life and trains too much because he has nothing better to do." The Boy chuckled "I'm not much better I guess…" he mumbled with a slight sweatdrop. Riru turned back forward and threw himself forward with his momentum, landing on a higher building, he looked back at Naruto "Eh… Can you do that kid?" He mocked the boy who did the same maneuver, although he nearly fell. Landing only slightly below Riru, he once again smiled "I still need to work on my wall running…" Riru gave him a raised eyebrow.

"I guess if these kids beat Tamashi I should have expected them to be ok… But this kid Isn't a prodigy like the report said about the Uchiha… What's so special about him?' The man decided to dwell on it later, and turned around and said "Well.. We should probably start searchi-" he was cut off as he felt something blast by, and a fist entered his stomach "IRON-CLAD!" a voice rang out as a blast of air knocked Naruto away from the wall, the boy catching himself only a little bit farther down the building, he looked up and saw the Gray-Haired Shinobi who had been chasing them earlier, throwing Riru to the ground as he yelled "RUN FROM THAT YOU BASTAARD!" the Genin yelled as Riru hit the ground hard.

-(With Sasuke)

'Gah… who does that guy think he is? He just caught me off guard!' The Uchiha thought as he pushed himself up, the world around him spinning In circles, he moved his hand to his forehead, confirming his thoughts as to when he removed his hand he saw blood 'That guy took Naruto…' he said to himself as his vision slowly regained its clarity. Looking up, he saw a stand-off between the Fumetsu member and the Taki-nin. "Tsk… you're annoying." Kyatchi muttered as he glared at the Jonin adjacent to him, who glared right back, "Let's get this going…" Kyatchi said as he jumped back from the deadlock and threw his rod back, before bringing it forward. The Taki-nin Jumped away as the hook of the rod reached their area, 'Not so fast kid…' Shoki thought as he raised his arm, moving Chakra through it, before moving his arm back down, The rain coming down from behind him.

Kyatchi let out a chuckle as he put Chakra into his Fishing Rod 'Raiton: Current' The Fumetsu Soldier said to himself as his hook sparked with electricity.

Soon the spark's connected with the small rain-storm that collected around them and a large surge of lightning burst from within, everyone inside of the radius of the storm Immediately recoiled as the bolt went through their body's, knocking many of the Shinobi unconscious, with the only one's still standing being some of the higher-ranked Chunin, along with the Commander of the forces. Kyatchi also found himself letting out a grunt as the rain finally hit him, unexpectedly shocking him. As well as throwing him full force at the ground. Kirisame yelled In pain as he felt his weakness for Electricity at full force. 'Gah… Damnit!' he grunted as he pulled out a Kunai, putting it Infront of him to absorb the electricity. "You Fumetsu really are strong…" The Commander said with a frown as he pushed himself towards Kyatchi. "But I'm even stronger!" Shoki said as he quickly landed on the ground and pushed himself towards the blonde-haired boy, swinging his Kunai at him, Kyatchi immediately put his Rod up defensively, one again clashing their weapons. The boy reeled back in shock as his arms shot up, being thrown back by the force of the Kunai, His Fishing-Rod flying out of his arm.

"Hey, hey you bastard!" Kyatchi yelled as he felt the weapon coming towards him, he quickly grabbed his own Kunai and prepared for the hit. "You think a dirty weapon like that's gonna stop me?" Shoki said as he clenched his fist 'Raindrop!' the Jonin yelled in his head. The Fumetsu boy's eyes shot open as he felt an ominous chakra seeping from the Older Shinobi. 'Damn… That's not going to work!' Kyatchi immediately moved back and prepared for the hit. As soon as the Kunai's clashed the Fumetsu member angled his head up, not even bothering to try and clash whatever his opponent was, feeling his Kunai breaking from the force of the Jonin's power, Kyatchi used the Kunai as a tool though as he pushed his body back and flung his head In the air. As his kunai broke, the blonde-boy opened his mouth as wide as he could, and to the surprise of his opponent, caught his weapon In his mouth, so when his weapon shattered, Instead of feeling a slash through his body, he jerked his head down, meeting the blade of his enemy up front, and unlike the flimsy weapon from before, it didn't even crack.

Kirisame found himself In shock, not only at the movie the boy had pulled, but at something else 'He's not slipping from the Suibun? The hell!' the man grunted to himself as his attack power finally fizzled out and he was forced to jump away. Kyatchi took the chance and released his Fishing rod from out of his mouth, grabbing it with his hand and slapping an explosive tag on It, before swinging it right at his target. 'That's not going to work on me again!' the man thought as he quickly jumped back, his eyes widened as he realized the tag had not been meant for him, and he shielded himself as once again he found himself blocking an explosion.

Sasuke almost seemed mesmerized as he sat on the sidelines, almost everyone seemed to have forgotten he was even there, as they all looked at the fight between the two combatants. 'Dammit… I can't just sit on the sidelines, what kind of deadweight am I!' The boy thought as he decided to run for Naruto and Riru, he sprinted off, but not before one of the groups with the Taki-nin noticed him and stopped him. "Eh, Where do you think you're going?" A large Taki shinobi asked as he signaled the Ninja to surround the Uchiha. "Get out of my way!" Sasuke yelled as he got Into form, leveling a glare at the Taki-nin In front of him. Although they just let out a sigh before he ordered his men to collect the teen "Sorry kid, you arrived with a criminal, you are a criminal" the man said as his soldiers encircled the Uchiha. Who simply grunted at his Situation

Kyatchi, who heard the commotion not very far away, turned his head and briefly saw Sasuke's situation 'Damn It… I can't let them-' he immediately jumped away from his battle and rushed towards the group, but before he made it he stopped as Kirisame appeared In front of him "Don't run now…" The Jonin joked as he gave a small malicious grin at the younger boy. 'Ah… Hell!' Kyatchi thought as he once again engaged In combat with the Commander.

Sasuke hadn't even realized that his companion had tried to grab him as he decided to strike at his enemy first, slightly surprising the group he was fighting, he launched himself at one of the more nervous Genin, appearing right In front of him and kicking the boy In the stomach. "Maybe that'll be a bit fun…" Sasuke tainted as he rocketed at another Genin, who seemed slightly more prepared. The Uchiha threw a punch at the man's face that was blocked, and with his larger form, the man was able to easily deflect the next few attacks from the Boy, grabbing his wrist. The man grinned, and to his dismay, instead of fear he saw an even bigger grin In return from the Teen. Sasuke didn't falter as he used the ground to flip, forcibly moving the man's arm to an angle that allowed him to kick his opponent in the face, as well as escape from his grasp.

"What are you doing? Get him!" the large man ordered, his subordinates replied with a group "Yes!" before all moving In on the boy, some even throwing shuriken at the boy, 'I thought they were trying to capture me?' Sasuke thought with a sweatdrop as he pulled out his own shuriken and with near-perfect precision, he reflected their attack. 'Katon: Spitfire Jutsu!' The Uchiha yelled In his head as he landed, and inhaled the air around him, before releasing bullets of fire at the Shinobi. "Eh? That was less than last time!" Sasuke said to himself In shock, while also moving for his next move as he knew there was no time to stop and question himself, 'Is it because of all of the moisture here?' he asked himself as he followed close behind his own Jutsu, which was not arriving on target, hitting multiple of the enemy's, burning them.

As his comrades fell, the Large Chunin who had cornered Sasuke grunted 'He missed me… Damn brat!' the man yelled as he pulled out a large sword and took a swing through the air, clearing any smoke between him and the Black-Haired teen. Sasuke kept running at the man and simply laughed when the Chunin lifted his sword to hit him, he didn't even flinch when it came down at him, simply putting his hand on the ground and pushing himself out of the way right before it hit the ground, he slid on the dirt road, moving grip from the ground to the man's arm, allowing him to launch himself at the enemy, landing a kick to his face, knocking him back. He immediately turned back and ran at the other Taki-nin around him, engaging in Taijutsu combat with them. Everyone was surprised that this kid was able to go against them with such flawless ease. Kunai against Kunai, Shuriken against Shuriken. What was this kid, it was almost like he had a Sharingan?

He didn't though… 'This is good training for when the first Tomoe awakens…' Sasuke thought to himself as he uppercut a man. His supremacy over the battle soon ended as he felt knocked onto the ground via a punch In the back, 'Gah!' Sasuke internally groaned as he rolled on the floor, when he finally managed to open his eyes he saw the Chunin from before standing over him, slightly bruised "You're strong for a brat… That just means I can be a bit rougher against you." The Man finished yelling as he once again swung the large sword at Sasuke, who barely managed to roll out of it 'Doton: Earth Slice!' The Man yelled as his sword hit the ground full force. Sasuke raised his eyebrows, had the guy realized he completely missed? He looked at the guy, who gave an almost sadistic grin back at the Boy. The Uchiha soon found himself In pain as a massive cut appeared In the ground as if an earthquake were happening. Sasuke also found himself yelling In pain as he felt his arm and shoulder being sliced open, he fell back as blood sprayed out of the wound, he hit the ground with a thud as he put his safe hand over the cut. "Don't you see now, you're nothing but a brat with a good reflex, now please stay down… or suffer the consequences of your actions" The Chunin said as he slowly made his way to the downed boy with his sword still ready at any moment.

Sasuke didn't falter though as he attempted to get up, as he stood he felt himself stumble as he took a deep breath. "Fine then kid, I'll take you down!" the man yelled as he raised his sword up for the final blow, before he could yell it out again he heard a yell. "STOP!" It wasn't the criminal boy who was fighting the Jonin, it was the Jonin who yelled for him to cease. Sasuke managed to turn his head as he looked back at the battle between Kyatchi and the Taki-nin, which had still been going strong up to this point, both combatants looked tired and beaten, although he noted that Jonin was on his last legs it seemed. The two were stuck In a similar deadlock that they had been a while ago, with Kirisame's Kunai and Kyatchi's fishing rod. "Chunin, what were you thinking? Vass hitting him was bad enough, but you can't just attack an Innocent!" Jonin yelled harshly with his rough voice, slightly scaring the man.

The Chunin froze before giving him a response, "He arrived here with the enemy… He IS an enemy!" the man said sharply, although the way he said it almost seemed questioning to the Jonin. Who used Suibun to escape the deadlock and back away from the blonde-haired teen, "As far as I'm concerned… We only have three enemies here, the Fumetsu are our only targets." Kyatchi, who was still catching his breath, only could raise his eyebrow at what the man was saying. "And… how do you know that they're not Fumetsu?" The Hunter-nin asked with a dangerous smile, which was soon cut off as once again the 'Hero of Taki' set off at him and this time managed to knock him over and pin him down, "I already know what you're really here for…" he said loudly, before punching Kyatchi In the face, making him grunt painfully. He soon found himself gaping when he processed the man's words towards him.

"W-What do you mean real reason…" Kirisame slightly turned at the words as he looked at the one who asked the question, he turned to see the Raven-Haired boy who seemed barely conscious. Kirisame seemed to growl as he responded "I don't know how he convinced you to come with him here…" he started, still keeping his grip on his enemy tight. "But, he's certainly not here to do anything nice, he's here to Kidnap a girl, And it seems you also fell into his trap!" he yelled, revealing Kyatchi's plan to everyone. "Just a child… I've never trusted Fumetsu, but how can you stoop that low!?" he questioned the man on the ground, who only glared at the Jonin in anger. "D-damn you, I won't let you ruin our freedom!" The Blonde boy yelled as he struck Kirisame with his weapon, which was unusually sharp, the man reeled back In pain 'If I hadn't fought that bastard Tamashi earlier then I could have dealt with this kid already!' he thought as he stopped himself from falling. He quickly looked back up, which to his fear was Kyatchi making a run for the Boy. "I won't stop now!" he said as his eyes looked bloodshot, he threw his reel back and cast his line at the downed boy.

'How could we have fallen for such an obvious trick…' Sasuke thought to himself as his consciousness faded. 'Dammit… I let Naruto be taken by the enemy as well. We're both going to be kidnapped because of my failure, I'm sorry. Mother, Father, everyone. I couldn't bring you Justice…' his thoughts slowed as did the world around him as he prepared for his likely death, or at least imprisonment.

'Keep going Sasuke!' A familiar tone spoke to him, 'Mother!' he thought as he remembered the voice that was so far removed from his memories.

'Keep getting stronger, Son.' Sasuke felt a chill head through his spine, 'Father!' he yelled to himself as he remembered the stern, yet loving Clan leader of the Uchiha.

Next, he heard the voices of the Uchiha children he had befriended and cared about… remembering how they all cheered when he showed off his progress In training, how loved and respected he felt when they asked him for help with something… Now he could feel his tears rolling down his cheeks as he reached his hand out into the void, no response given to his attempts.

'Eh? I can't have a weak rival, get up you bastard!' he would recognize the voice from anywhere and the voice of his pseudo-brother only made his tears move severe as his words cut deep. 'I'm sorry Naruto, I should have been able to stop myself from getting hit by that guy!' he screamed into the abyss, he sobbed harder than he had In years, soon forgetting his arm had been sliced. 'I'm too weak, what the hell was I even doing! How the hell am I supposed to catch him If I can't even beat a Chunin If I can't even help my only friend! WHY THE HELL HAVE I BEEN TRAINING FOR ANYWAY' he screamed as his world began to fade around him.

"Do you want power?" a smooth voice said from the void, almost excited sounded. Sasuke attempted to answer but found himself unable to talk.

"Don't bother answering, I already know your answer…" the male voice said, before appearing In front of the Uchiha. The man had no physical features, other than being tall and shady, Sasuke could also tell the man had earrings on, as he heard them chime. The man walked over to Sasuke slowly, he held up his hand and a white pattern appeared on his pitch-black figure. "Here is your power…" The voice said as he put his hand over Sasuke's eyes. The pattern glowed and Sasuke began to feel pain again, 'THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME!?' Sasuke attempted to scream as he felt his eyes burning as if the man had been pressing him against an oven. Soon it was over though, Sasuke felt himself slipping away once again 'Damn… this isn't strength, I'm still too weak!' Sasuke said as he felt his eyes burn, and the world fade away.

"Hmm… I expected better of you, Last Uchiha…" the man said with a disappointed sigh, as he walked away from the dying teen.

"You disappoint me." he finished as he walked off, away from the Uchiha.

'You disappoint me.' the voice rung In his head as he finally felt truly defeated by the world.

'You disappoint me, Sasuke.' a distorted voice said In his head, sounding familiar, he didn't immediately recognize the voice through the corruption, but he soon realized.

'You're still too weak, brother.' the voice said clearly.

Sasuke's eyes shot open, any feeling of pain absent as the world recollected itself to him, he screamed the moment woke up, his eyes now shining a red color. He hadn't just opened his eyes, he had awakened them.
