Chapter 18: The Strongest! The Magnificent! Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon

"The card I've drawn is 'Magic Removal'." Kaiba drew his card. "I will attach it to 'La Jinn'. 'Lamp Spirit, La Jinn' will be summoned. I will destroy one of your Magic Cards. I've buried a nice Card." He noted, 'La Jinn' having taken out the 'Sealing Swords of Light'. "'Sealing Swords of Light' is a Card that can seal monsters away for three turns."

"Here it goes." Yami Yuugi took his turn.

"Well, come attack 'La Jinn'." Kaiba taunted, Yami Yuugi having re-summoned 'Black Magician'. "You'll just be caught in the trap again."

"I'm destroying the 'La Jinn' and 'Magic Lamp' combo, Kaiba." Yami Yuugi declared. "The Magic Card, 'Eye of Truth'. With this card, I can see all the cards in your hand, Kaiba. He already has a 'Blue Eyes' in his hand? 'Magic Box'!" he activated the card. "The 'Magic Box' is a Magic Card that can destroy my opponent's combo. In one of the boxes, your 'Magic Lamp' will be sacrificed."

"My 'Magic Lamp'…" Kaiba gaped, the card skewered by the blades.

"Come out, 'Black Magician'!" Yami Yuugi ordered. "'La Jinn' has been defeated." He announced, 'Black Magician' having destroyed 'La Jinn'. "Kaiba, I won't let you fuse the three 'Blue Eyes'. Before that, I'll reduce your 'Life Points' to zero.

"That's just like you, Yuugi." Kaiba noted. "You've found me out. But you underestimated me, Yuugi. My plan for victory is perfect. My turn is over." He declared, sending out 'Dark Clown Master Sagi'.

"All right, I'll change my main monster." Yami Yuugi declared, drawing 'Dark Knight Gaia'. "I'll battle with 'Dark Knight Gaia'. Attack 'Sagi'. 'Spiral Shaver'! 'Dark Clown Master Sagi' has been defeated."

"Gotcha." Kaiba smirked.

"What?" Yami Yuugi gasped, 'Dark Knight Gaia' was frozen in its tracks. "'Dark Knight Gaia' is…"

"And not just 'Gaia'." Kaiba added, 'Gaia' vanishing.

"The 'Black Magician' too." Yami Yuugi realized, the 'Black Magician' card disappearing.

"It's the power of this card." Kaiba boasted. "The 'Deck-Destruction Virus of Death'. 'Dark Clown Master Sagi was infected by a death virus. When you attack 'Sagi' with your monster, the virus was spread. With the effects of the Virus card, all your monsters with an attack strength of 1500 or higher are dead. It's as if your deck was destroyed. I'm just helping you along, so that your defeat will come much more quickly. Yuugi, I'll make your blood run cold with the terror of this duel. Since there are no monsters in play, draw your card and set it on the Duel Disc. My monster will take it out immediately. What's wrong, Yuugi?" he barked. "Until you play a monster, I'll just wait and pass on my turn. There are no other monsters in your deck, except weaklings." He added, Yami Yuugi summoning 'Silver Fang'. "I'll play 'Minotaurs' in attack mode. Cut down 'Silver Fang'. This isn't even a high-level monster, so take note. But you can no longer use any cards that are capable of defeating my 'Minotaurs'."

"'Griffol'! Yami Yuugi summoned his monster.

"'Griffol'" Kaiba snorted. "Another weak monster in defense mode? The 'Minotaurs' will soon bury it."

"I'm not putting 'Griffol' in defense mode, Kaiba." Yami Yuugi smirked. "'Unicorn Horn'!" he activated his Magic Card. "I will combo attack with this card and 'Griffol'."

"I guess I should applaud you for defeating 'Minotaurs'." Kaiba admitted. "That'd help if this turn wasn't the end of your life. First, I'll use a Magic Card in my hand. 'Holy Elf's Healing; with 'Holy Elf's Healing effect, I have recovered 300 'Life Points'. Arise, 'Blue Eyes'!" he summoned his trump card. "Here it goes, Yuugi! Prepare yourself! Your pitiful monster has been annihilated." He declared, 'Blue Eyes' obliterating 'Griffol'. "You don't have much 'Life' left, Yuugi."

"I'll play 'Rock Soldier' in defense mode." Yami Yuugi played his card.

"Yuugi, since I met you, I've hungered for victory and thirsted for your defeat." Kaiba remarked, drawing the 'Polymerization' card. "Now, I'll cast off all that pain and I'll show it to you." With that, he fused all three 'Blue Eyes', summoning 'Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon' to the field. "What do you think? Take a look, Yuugi. This is the form of the strongest, most magnificent, ultimate monster. Yuugi, prepare yourself. I've been burdened with the cross of defeat, but now, I will give it to you. I will let you taste that disgrace. Here comes the 'Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon's attack."
