Chapter 25: The Final Game of Friendship - Yuugi vs. Jonouchi, Part 1

"I go first." Yami Yuugi took his turn. "'Elf Swordsman' in attack mode."

"'Gilita the Dark Knight' in attack mode." Jonouchi played his card. "Battle, Magic Attack: Soul-Searing Spear. 'Elf Swordsman' is defeated. What's wrong, Yuugi? Is this the best you can do?"

"My turn." Yami Yuugi played his card. "'Dark Knight, Gaia' in attack mode. Battle, 'Gilita the Dark Knight' is defeated."

"'Armoured Lizard' in defense mode." Jonouchi placed his card.

"'Demon Summon' in attack mode." Yami Yuugi placed his card. "'Armoured Lizard' is defeated."

"I see." Jonouchi grinned. "I knew it was going to be him. I've been waiting for this moment when you summon 'Demon Summon'. Yuugi, the importance is the balance between Magic and Monster Cards. I'll return that advice to you. It's my turn. 'Flame Swordsman' in attack mode. Now it's time for this Magic Card." He activated the 'Shield in the Right Hand, Sword in the Left Hand'. "Even though my attack points have dropped to 1000, your attack points have risen to 1200. Battle. 'Demon Summon' is defeated."

"My turn." Yami Yuugi took his turn. "'Curse of Dragon' in attack mode. And I play the Magic Card 'Polymerization' to fuse 'Curse of Dragon' and 'Dark Knight Gaia' together. 'Dragon Champion Gaia' attacks. 'Flame Swordsman' is defeated."

"'Red Eyes Black Dragon' in attack mode." Jonouchi summoned his monster. "And I play the Magic Card 'Graverobber' to steal a card from the opponent; I'm taking the 'Demon Summon'. And also, I play the 'Copycat' Card to copy my opponent's cards and the Card I'm copying is the 'Polymerization' Card. I fuse 'Demon Summon' and 'Red Eyes Black Dragon'; 'Black Demon Dragon'. 'Black Demon Dragon', attack 'Dragon Champion Gaia'. 'Meteor Flare'. 'Dragon Champion Gaia' is defeated."
