Chapter 26: The Final Game of Friendship - Yuugi vs. Jonouchi, Part 2

"Well, Yuugi?" Jonouchi asked. "Are you going to surrender?"

"I'm going to use this card, 'Black Magician', attack mode." Yami Yuugi replied.

"Yuugi's 'Black Magician'." Jonouchi grinned. "Finally. But you can't defeat my 'Black Demon Dragon'."

"I know." Yami Yuugi smirked.

"In the face of a monster with higher attacking points, you'll just be the target." Jonouchi reminded.

"Jonouchi, I told you." Yami Yuugi stated. "The basics of a duel is the unison of Monster and Magic cards. Magic card, 'Magical Silk Hats'. Jonouchi, which 'Magical Silk Hat' is the 'Black Magician' hiding in?"

"I'll just destroy them one by one." Jonouchi hissed. "Go, 'Black Demon Dragon'!"

"I think he dodged it, Jonouchi." Yami Yuugi remarked, 'Black Demon Dragon' destroying a hat. "Three left. Jonouchi, you're going to destroy them one by one, right? What now?"

"If I defeat 'Black Magician', it'll be the end." Jonouchi noted. "It's be a shame to end this battle so soon. That's it. 'Garoozis', attack mode. He has 1800 attack points, 'Black Magician's is 2500. I want to let you win this time. I want to keep this battle going. I could destroy 'Black Magician' easily. But that wouldn't be fun."

"I put this card into the hate and end my turn." Yami Yuugi played his card.

"'Black Demon Dragon', attack." Jonouchi gave the order, the attack destroying yet another empty hat. He then declared another attack, Yami Yuugi having passed his turn. The third destroyed hat, however, revealed the 'Hexagonal Curse' card.

"Magic card, 'Book of Secret Arts'." Yami Yuugi played his card. "I use this Magic card to increase 'Black Magician's power by 300." With that, he called out 'Black Magician' to destroy 'Black Demon Dragon'.

"'Baby Dragon', in attack mode." Jonouchi played his card. "And I place one card face down."

"'Black Magician', attack ''Baby Dragon'." Yami Yuugi gave the order.

"Not so easy." Jonouchi countered. "Trap Card activate! 'Chained Boomerang'! Here goes! 'Time Magician'! 'Time Roulette'! 'Thousand Nose Breath'!" he declared an attack after 'Baby Dragon' evolved into the 'Thousand-Year Dragon'.

"'Makiu the Magical Mist'!" Yami Yuugi countered, nullifying the attack. "Jonouchi, 'Baby Dragon' wasn't the only one affected by 'Time Magician'. The 1000-year-old magician is about to become a sage; the 'Black-Robed Sage'. During each turn, I can play a Magic card from my deck. When it's your turn, it'll activate." Activating 'Monster Reborn', he recalled 'Black Demon Dragon' from the graveyard and had it destroy 'Thousand Year Dragon' and winning him the match.
