Anyway you have been warned and everything so let's get started.
At the request of the Host the readers returned to their seats for the next installment of the story. The worrisome thoughts surrounding Jolyne's imprisonment were at the forefront of their mind, though they didn't have long to focus on them before the Host snapped their fingers and two bright flashes filled the room and an additional pair of readers came into existence in the room.
"Mom, Dad!" Jolyne called loudly.
"Naruto, Jolyne? What's going on?" Jotaro asked while quirking an eyebrow at the heated glares coming toward him from Naruto's mother and step-father. Or at least two people that looked like them as well as another woman with blonde hair.
"Dio!" Jotaro roared as he realized who was sitting nearby.
"That will be enough screaming." The chilling voice of the Host said as Jotaro felt the strength leave his body and was drug to the front of the room beside his wife.
Dio crossed his arms over his chest at the moment and let out his own huff while staring after Jotaro.
"Allow me to fill you in and we can begin shortly." The Host announced before catching the pair up to speed.
"Now, please take your seats." The Host requested.
Jotaro and Jessica complied. However as they sat down the Host snapped their fingers again and the readers each found themselves unable to get out of their seats. As if they were bound to them with invisible ropes.
"What is the meaning of this?" Minato demanded.
"Conflict will not be tolerated beyond this point. The repair of the room, or yourselves is better left unneeded." The host said without the slightest fluctuation in it's tone.
"Now, please read for us." It said as the book appeared in Jiraiya's hands with a snap from the being hosting the event.
"Right…" Jiraiya sighed out.
Cold and alone. That perfectly described how Jolyne was feeling as she curled up into a protective ball, nuzzling into her cheap uncomfortable pillow all prisoners seemed to be gifted with their crappy single beds.
Naruto and Jotaro shared equally menacing looks while Jolyne looked displeased at the description and how distraught it made her mother. Most of the others seemed more intent on learning about the situation though. Each for their own reason. The shinobi were attempting to mentall craft a method of escape despite being unable to help the Jolyne in the story, while Dio was more or less bored with what was going on at this stage.
Sighing the dual haired beauty rolled onto her back, staring up at the concrete ceiling with disinterest. A single beam of moonlight shines through her window, illuminating her room.
"..." Jolyne rested both her hands above her navel, fingers tracing her smooth yet slightly muscled stomach. She couldn't help but think of better times when she and Naruto would spend an entire day resting in bed together. She'd lay just like this, but her head resting on his arm. The inmate in the next cell over glanced at her twin roommates, a single brow raised in confusion. The two brunettes gave a synchronized shrug in response. Sighing in annoyance the braided beauty turned back to face the bars "Hey stop trying to kill yourself for the moment! You're Jo-uh…Jolyne right? Tell us what happened. Most of the room chuckled good naturedly at the girl, though Dio had simply ignored the conversation and had begun to stare at Jotaro to rile him up. For Jotaro himself, the man was too busy glaring up at the ceiling trying his hardest to force out the mental images of Naruto and Jolyne.
Dio cracked a smile at what he was seeing. This was his favorite chapter so far. From Jotaro's reaction alone.
Hazel eyes widened in realisation, turning to face her fellow cell mates with a choked laugh "Wait a minute! You can't mean you were seen doing 'that' by one of the guards?!"
Jolyne's frustrated groan was all the confrontation they needed. The cell block was filled with the woman's laughter.
"Oh Jolyne, you're fine. It's not that big of a deal. It's natural." Kushina tried comfort only to hear a snort from Jiraiya.
"Ah, err, it's true. It's natural." Jiraiya tried to play off his amusement.
The fact that it didn't help in the slightest shocked no one.
"Oh my god! Ahahaha! Are you hearing this Ermes?!" A new voice called out in a cackle, catching the braided haired beauties attention.
It was another female inmate, looking like she belonged from the punk era with her face having more piercings than actual skin.
The blond leaned against the bars of her cell, calling out to Jolyne with a mischievous glint in her eyes "So which one saw ya?"
"What?"
Ermes chuckled as she clarified for her fellow Inmate "Which guard was it?"
"Does it matter? Surely they are all talking about it now." Dio said smirking as Jolyne's head dropped in despair and Jotaro seether.
Definitely the best chapter so far.
Jolyne grumbled as she rubbed her tired eyes "I didn't realise he was standing outside my cell, he's the young one, kind of looks like Tom Cruise"
"Ahahahah! Oh my god! Retard! You were seen by him?" Ermes leaned forward barely able to make out the dual haired beauties slumped form "So how much did he see?"
"Tch. The voyeuristic prick didn't see much but it doesn't matter. I've made up my mind" Jolyne's knuckles cracked as she gripped the metal bars tightly.
"Oh?" Ermes crossed her arms under her bust, plump lips quirked into an amused smile.
"I'll never do such a thing without my boyfriend ever again. I'm even willing to bet a large sum of money on it!" Jolyne said with full confidence, absolutely believing that she would never find herself in this…uncomfortable situation again
"Good luck with that." The other women said.
"Mom?" Jolyne asked in horror.
"Your father was away from home quite a lot darling." Jessica answered simply with a dusting of pink on her face causing Jotaro to frown and Jiraiya and Dio to smirk for two very different reasons.
Once again the cell block was filled with rude cackling. The pierced woman called out to the ex-delinquent "Ahahah! Good luck sweetheart. You'll break down eventually" the punkish girl sneered as she started fille down her nails.
Ermes scowled as she came to Jolyne's defence "Shut up you stupid slut! Haven't you already done it before?"
"Hmph! Unlike you two, I'm not always thinking about that stuff" the blond declared as she went back buffing her nails.
"Hey whoever you are, let's see who can go without it the longest. We could even make a bet out of it" Jolyne suggested, her green eyes hiding a mischievous twinkle.
Jolyne avoided the mixture of looks sent her way by the other readers. From the shocked looks of her family to the exasperated looks of her boyfriends not-parents. Even the doubtful looks of not just Jiraiya and Tsunade but Naruto too. It wasn't fair that he was giving her that look. If she broke down to touch herself again, she knew it would be because of thoughts of him.
"Someone like you probably can't even hold out until lunch.." Ermes snarked out, resting her chin against her hands with a smirk.
"Ahah idiots! How can you prove we're not just doing it quietly? Anyone of us could just lie" the punkish woman said with a scoff.
"If I were to say that I could tell by the joint of your left ring finger…would you believe me?" Jolyne pointed towards the punkish girl's hand "You ended up here because of your behaviour right? When I look at your ring finger, I'll know"
Most of the readers looked between one another confused by that statement, though Jiraiya simply snorted at the comment before continuing on.
Blue eyes widened in disbelief, the pierced girl was left in a stunned silence as she hid her hands from the ex-delinquents view.
"PRISONER TWENTY ONE AND TWENTY NINE! You two are going to be transferred to another prison! Stand beside the bars and put your hands through the cell door!" Jolyne sighed in annoyance as she stuck her hands through the cell door.
Ermes followed the ex-delinquents lead, hazel eyes glanced over to her fellow prisoner "So is it true? The ring finger thing?" Frowning at the lack of response, the mixed girl tried asking another question that she knew would get her an answer "What did you do to end up here?"
"If I said I didn't do it would you believe me?" Jolyne muttered as she felt the familiar cool metal cuffs lock tightly around her wrists, binding them firmly.
This caused the room to pause as they all thought about that.
"I wonder how many inmates that's actually true for?" Jessica pondered aloud.
"Probably a lot less than claim it's true." Jotaro replied.
Ushered out of her cell, she couldn't help but remember how things went so wrong. All she could hope that Naruto would be here soon to help her.
A thin sheet of glass separated Jolyne from the man defending her of her crimes. Brown hair smothered by gel, large ears and a small face. Features similar to that of a rodent.
"I can already tell something is wrong with this picture." Minato said with narrowed eyes.
"It doesn't look good. You've been prosecuted and your bail refused" her Lawyer muttered as he read through her files "It doesn't help your record that you've stolen twice before and refused to admit that you did it. In other words JoJo, you are going to be sent to Green Dolphin Street Administrative Center to receive your punishment"
Jolyne's green eyes narrowed as she leaned back in her chair "Don't call me Jojo. Only my Mom can call me that" the dual haired beauty crossed her arms in annoyance "Also that thing you said earlier about me stealing, I was fourteen and I was only borrowing someone's Motorcycle. They got it straight back when I was done with it"
"What about the Hell Riders gang?" Jolyne's Lawyer questioned as he pulled out her criminal record.
"What about them? I left them a long time ago and went back to school. I've even got a spot to take the University exams" The ex-delinquent explained with a crooked brow. Her lawyer made a humming sound at the information.
"And your boyfriend…a mister Naruto Brando?" If he didn't have her full attention then, he certainly did now "Perhaps we could link some of your behaviour-"
"That filthy little rat!" Naruto snarled.
"Naruto calm down." Jolyne attempted to relax him.
"No, they are railroading you. Not to mention there is something up with that lawyer." Naruto declared.
"Naruto is right. Something feels wrong with this whole situation." Jonathan said.
Bang!
Jolyne's balled up fist slammed into the wall. Furious green eyes gave the rat like man a glare so fierce, he was sure he would die right then and there.
"Don't." A mixture of sweat and gel ran down the side of his scrunched up face. Her warning hung in the air like an executioner's axe.
It was tense as the disgruntled man tried to find his composure.
"What a wretch." Dio sneered toward the thought of the lawyer.
"How's my Mom? She must be worried sick" Jolyne once again rubbed her tired eyes, something she began to notice she does a lot more since she was arrested.
"You'll see your mother very soon. When your set to be transferred to Green Dolphin Street Prison, you'll see her then" eyes lighting up in remembrance as he signaled to the guard "Actually I have a few things from your mother"
"What things?" Jolyne looked down as a small silver tray was placed in front of her. Surprised to find it was mostly her belongings.
"Your mother was very kind to provide you with clothes for court, a toothbrush under seven centimeters and some vitamins" The ex-delinquents lawyer listed out "As well as some of your favourite magazines and some school assignments"
"Taking care of her as best you can, even in those circumstances. You have done well with my future daughter-in-law." Kushina said to Jessica who smiled over toward the other women.
"And the way they are going I'm sure we will have grandchildren to spoil soon." Jessica said getting a bright smile from Kushina and Minato and a hollow glare from Jotaro.
A reflection of light caught Jolyne's eye. It was gold in colour, almost looking like the shell of an insect.
"What's this?" Slim fingers picked up the small trinket. Watching it with a critical eye as she rubbed it between her thumb and forefinger.
"I think it's some sort of amulet…" the lawyer offered his client as he too was stuck eyeing the golden trinket "It doesn't appear be tampered with…You'll find a small 'stone' inside"
"A small stone?" Jolyne arched her brow in confusion.
"Ah, the Stand Arrow." Jotaro commented in thought.
"What exactly-" Jiraiya began to ask.
"Please continue with the reading. You may find any explanations and answers for your questions reside within." The Host interrupted motioning for him to continue reading.
"Right…" The Sannin huffed.
"Yes. I'm not quite sure what your mother meant by that. All she told me was 'This was a gift from Jolyne's father. If she ever gets in trouble, he told me to give her this pendent'" Green eyes grew unfocused as the dual haired beauty started to think of her father, never noticing the blade peaking between the amulet.
"What's this got to do with my fat-" the ex-delinquent yelped as she sliced open her pointer.
"That'll do it." Dio and Jotaro said simultaneously before both shot venomous glares at one another.
"Jolyne what's wrong?" Ignoring her lawyer for the moment, Jolyne hissed through her teeth as the wound on her finger throbbed in pain.
"Hey what the hell is goin' on over there?!" The ex-delinquent was quick to wave off the obese guard, wincing as she knocked her injured finger.
"N-Nothing's wrong. I just chipped a nail" the guard seemed to accept Jolyne's answer as he waddled back to the door. The dual haired beauty locked eyes with her lawyer as she pointed down to the amulet with a scowl "What the hell is that? Who keeps a stone like that in their locket?"
"I'm not sure. As I said it was a gift from your father" the man easily missed the inmate tending to the mention of her absent father "Your mother has been trying to contact him but as you know, your father is an Oceanographer. Last your mother heard he's somewhere in Africa, we're unable to reach him at this time"
"A pretty good gift if this is what gives people their abilities with those stands." Jonathan said.
"I don't care if you called him or not. I made sure to call Naruto. He's going to get me out" Jolyne muttered as she glanced down at the pendant in her hand "You know, I had a high fever when I was six, around forty two degrees, and in critical condition. If he didn't come for me then, he isn't coming for me now"
The room was silent, except for the light chuckling of Dio as he soaked in Jotaro's displeasure.
"Best chapter. The very best." Dio said with a grin as he watched Jotaro's fists clench as tightly as they could.
Upon closer inspection, the dual haired inmate noticed that behind the stone arrowhead lay a photograph of her parents, holding one another in a tender embrace as they stared at the camera.
Dejected green eyes narrowed in anger, Jolyne flung the locket away, not caring as it clanked across the hard floor, rolling into a drain. Seemingly gone forever.
Jolyne looked ashamed from her action. She had her issues with her father, but to cast away something like that was terrible. Noone said anything to her, and for some odd reason the fact none of them had done so made her simply feel worse.
The dual haired girl noticed the cut on her finger had stopped bleeding but ignored it for the moment.
"That healed remarkably quickly." Tsunade noted as she tapped her chin in thought.
A cough from behind alerted her of the guards presence. With a sigh she allowed her wrists to be cuffed once more, leading her back towards her cell.
"Look I'm not pleading guilty okay. I know I'm innocent and so do you. You'll figure this out. When can we meet again?"
"In two days you'll be transferred to Green Dolphins Street Administration, I'll be seeing you then. Take care of yourself, Jolyne Cujoh"
"I still really feel wrong about this guy." Naruto said with a sour look.
Jolyne felt nervous as she was ushered onto the bus but also relieved as she wouldn't be going alone.
Ermes sat in the seat in front of the dual haired girl, sitting in a way that was more comfortable for the woman as they waited for their bus ride to end.
"Be there…the bridge…" Jolyne's head shot up in surprise staring at the front of the bus with wide eyes. The voices sounded like they were wisphered directly in her ear.
"Hey did you hear what they said about the Administration?" Ermes raised a brow at the dual haired girl, crossing her cuffed hands under her large bust.
"What are you talking about? No one said anything" as if to show fate was on her side, the driver slid open the viewer hatch on his door, calling out to the new inmates.
"Odd." Minato said with narrowed eyes.
"We're crossing the bridge now and we'll be arriving at the prison in roughly ten minutes. Look alive ladies" Ermes looked taken aback as she turned to face Jolyne, with intrigue hiding in her hazel eyes.
With a jolt in their seats, the bus brought them ever closer to their final destination. A small island surrounded large bodies of water.
The group silently pondered the changes that Jolyne was now dealing with. A new power like with Naruto. Hopefully it might help her out of the situation she had landed in.
Green Dolphin Street Prison, Florida also known as the "Aquarium". Containing a combined number of one thousand two hundred and thirty one adult convicts while the Juvenile was less than half of the amount.
"Impressive." Tsunade said as she looked at the prison.
"Security is no joke there, huh?" Jiraiya asked.
"Of course not, it's a prison, Sensei. You're right though it does seem a particularly hard place to escape from." Minato pointed out.
"Like you said, it's a prison. It's supposed to be." Kushina added with a giggle as Minato pouted at her for doing the same thing to him that he had done to Jiraiya.
Back inside the bus, the braided beauty leaned towards Jolyne, resting her restrained hands against her seat "Hey how did you know we were arriving? Did you learn that with your finger trick?"
Ex-delinquent just shrugged as she leaned back into her uncomfortable seat with a smirk "I can't quite explain it myself, it's freaking me out if I'm honest"
With a smile of her own, Ermes offered her hand to her fellow inmate "I don't know if you're just weird or just strange in general but I do know that makes you gutsy. I'm Ermes Costello"
"Hmm, don't trust anyone, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to have some back up should you need it." Jotaro offered.
"Yeah…" Jolyne answered awkwardly.
Jolyne clasped her hand in a tight grip, showing her strength. Something the mixed grip respected.
"So what brings you here Ermes?" The mixed beauty sighed at the dual haired girls questioned.
"Honestly it's not as exciting as you think. I stole something from a twenty four hour convenience store, this is my second time here already so I'm not sure what's gonna happen" Ermes looked toward the guards then back to Jolyne "Hey Jolyne let me ask you something. Did you bring money with you?"
"That can't be a good sign." Kushina said worriedly.
"Surely she won't be trying to rob her before they even really arrive." Jonathan said with a bit of surprise.
The ex-delinquent tried to play it cool, waving her hand half heartedly "Maybe I do, why? Do you have any on you?"
Naruto chuckled lightly, a chuckle that broke into real laughter as he noticed the half glare half pout Jolyne was sending his way.
Ermes rolled her eyes at Jolyne nudging the girl with her hand "Relaxe, I'm trying to help you. Soon, I would have been in this place twice. Take my advice" The two new inmates got an unsettling view of the prison. Noticing how old and worn down it seemed "Trust me just like everywhere else in the world, you need money. Roughly got to bring in one hundred to two hundred U.S.. It's one of the only ways to take care of yourself"
"So if you don't bring any, I imagine you're just out of luck then." Kushina said sourly.
Jolyne narrowed her enchanting green eyes on the mixed girl's curvy form. Searching for where Ermes could have possibly hid her money.
"Alright let me guess you hid it under your sock right?" Ermes chuckled as she shook her head at Jolyne's seemingly naivety.
"Do I look like a little girl who ran from home to you?"
"You can't mean you smuggled it in through your ass or even…up 'There'?" Jolyne asked with a look of disgust, shivering at the thought of smuggling money through her private area.
"Oh dear." Jessica said with a pale face.
Most of the others in the room seemed more inclined to laugh at the situation.
"Don't be an idiot! I thought you were smarter than that Jolyne. We go through a full body cavity search, they'd find it" The ex-delinquent narrowed her eyes at the mixed beauty, her brilliant mind racking for an answer on where she could have hidden the money.
"That's the only reason she didn't?" Naruto squawked.
"Well where do you hide it?" Jolyne asked once more, leaning over her seat to get closer to Ermes.
"I can't tell you that, what if somebody hears? It's over for me!" Arms once more found comfort under her bountiful bust, drawing in intelligent green eyes.
"Wait…" Jolyne whispered as she started connecting the dots, her hand rising to cover her mouth.
"Hm?"
"You can't have possibly hidden it…" Jolyne pointed down at her fellow woman's bust "…There!"
Ermes eyes bulged and her cheeks began to gain a rosy tint, covering her crimson cheeks and part of her face with her palm, whispering out a defeated "Goddamn it"
"She was worried about a cavity search and she just hid it there. This girl isn't quite as experienced as she makes herself out to be, is she." Jonathan commented with a faint chuckle.
"No way!" The braided beauty smacked the ex-delinquents arm, quieting her surprised yell.
Ermes looked around for a moment before pulling aside her shirt, showing a small stitched scar near her pectoralis major muscle "Yeah…The hole is very small and it will bleed for a little while but it's a damn near full proof way to get money in. I have fifty three, twenty dollar bills on this side and fifty on the other"
Naruto and Jolyne glanced at Tsunade's chest and then up at her a bit suggestively. Tsuande's narrow eyed glare had them turning back to face forward.
"You gotta cut them some slack Tsuande. There has to be something hidden in there. My money is on some legendary brand of sake or something like that." Jiraiya joked, getting the glare for himself. It wasn't nearly as effective against him as it had been against the two teens.
Jolyne wanted to ask more questions but was interrupted by the guards yell "We've reached the Green Dolphin Street Prison. Inmate number twenty one and twenty nine down here!"
Dual haired beauty cringed at this particular guard "Damn, it had to be Tom Cruise" Ermes started to rise herself, until she was stopped by the Tom cruise look alike.
"The scum." Naruto growled with narrowed eyes.
"Not you Costello! You don't get off here" the two inmates shared a quick glance as Jolyne was escorted off the bus, leaving her fellow prisoner alone.
This prison is already off to a terrible start. Corrupt as it comes I suppose." Jonathan said with an annoyed sigh.
She was quick to take in every little detail, from the white to grey castle-like walls, the buzzing of the electric fences, even how many guard towers hung high in the sky, watching down on all the occupants like predators.
"Welcome back Castello! Are you excited for your second stay in the Aquarium? What brought you back this time? Stealing? Fighting?" Jolyne's ear twitched as she looked back to face the prison bus, her brows frowning in confusion.
"Hey! Don't look around and walk forward Twenty One" A middle aged guard barked into ex-delinquents face, shoving her forward.
Jolyne was slow to walk forward, still hearing a conversation but unable to see it. Flinching from the sounds of something heavy sticking something flesh like.
"I…*cough* didn't bring any money"
"Greed, bribery, corruption. Typical." Minato rolled his eyes.
"Don't try that shit with us Costello! We know you got money, fork it over!" There was another thwack-like sound, a wheezing cough and a dripping sound.
Jolyne brought her hands towards her face, eyes wide as she was forced to listen as Ermes was savagely beaten.
"Bastards. That's so messed up." Kushina grumbled and several others among the readers agreed.
"They'll get theirs. I'll make sure of it." Naruto growled, though he was primarily concerned for Jolyne, he did feel a bit bad for Ermes benign treated in such a way.
'What the fuck is going on?! Why can I hear Ermes and those other guards?! It's just like when we were crossing the bridge earlier!' The dual haired beauty froze as her hand started to feel strange, mainly the tip of her pointer, the same one that had sliced her finger open.
Looking down Jolyne felt her heart go down into her stomach, as a long piece of wire flowed out of her cut, connected to the shrinking form of the prison bus.
The string moved with sound vibrations, relaying the conversation in the bus like a sort of one way radio.
"So this is part of her Stand Power. How interesting." Tsuande said with hands crossed in front of her face. She wasn't the only one. Several other readers had similar poses of contemplation as they studied the unique abilities.
Jolyne's mount dropped as her skin started to peel away leaving revealing instead of blood and muscle it was just more wire.
"What the fuck is this?!" The guard once again shoved Green Dolphin's new prisoner forward. Confirming for her two things. They couldn't see or hear anything that was going on.
Jolyne winced once she heard Ermes hacking up blood in a chest rattling cough. Almost able to picture everything perfectly.
(Inside the Bus)
The bus rumbled as it slowly drove, Ermes was leaning against one of the seats using it as a form of crutch, while using her other hand to wipe the blood away from her mouth.
"Damn, they are really working that poor girl over aren't they?" Jiraiya said with a frown. The way these men were acting toward beautiful women was anathema to him.
Just as the biggest of the duo raised his club to whalup on the mixed girl someone, she raised her cuffed hands above her head while also bowing her head in a non threatening way.
"A-Alright! I'll give you my money, just please don't hit me anymore" Ermes reached towards her hair, pulling out a fifty dollar note from her biggest braid.
The Tom Cruise look alike frowned down at the fifty dollar note, nearly crushing the bill in his palm "This ain't enough Costello. That's twenty five for us both, we need more. I know you've got more on you!"
"I don't!"
"Smart of her to separate her money like that. Hopefully they will buy it." Minato said.
"I doubt it though. Thugs like this might even just use it as an excuse to keep beating on her too." Jotaro grumbled out.
"Then what were you whispering with that Cujoh girl? I know you two were talking about money, so where is it?!" He went in for another blow, only for the bus to jerk in a sudden stop.
Ermes winced as she tried to stand, using her arm as a protective barrier to cover her stomach and sides "Please don't take that fifty away from me. I don't have any family and that fifty is all I have. If I don't go in with anything then it's gonna be rough for me. Please…"
Her desperate begging fell on deaf ears, as the Tom Cruise look alike tapped her throat with his baton, smirking as he eyed her up and down "Hey you were letting that Cujoh girl get a good look at your girls earlier. Does that mean you got money stuffed there?"
His perverse stare made her feel sick, using her other arm to cover her chest, blocking his wicked gaze.
"And these guys are on the side of the law. That is just garbage." Naruto said as he eyed Jolyne. He knew she was getting to see things surrounding herself that she would much rather not.
Ermes tried to back away but found herself caught by his partner. Arm locked around her throat tight.
Braided locks flew around widely as the prisoner tried to break the choker hold, growling as she moved around, trying to get away from his grubby hold.
The Tom Cruise look alike licked his lips, eyeing off Ermes' plentiful bust with a disgusting look in his eye.
The room had again gone quiet besides Jiraiya's reading as the adults felt anger for the young woman being accosted. Thankfully it wasn't Jolyne. If it had been the Host knew there would have been no end to the rage filled howling of the girl's loved ones.
Her screams were either unheard or ignored as his large and imposing hands reached forward.
"Get the fuck off me!" A wild swing nearly clocked the molester in the jaw, but her wild swings did nothing more than enrage the man.
"You stupid little cunt!" He brought his arm back in an exaggerated swing, never noticing the glint of silver crawling up his arm like a snake.
With a savage swing, the Tom Cruise look alike swung his baton, hoping to bludgeon her face in.
THWACK!
A spurt of blood stained the metal walls, painting it crimson in random splatters.
Ermes was hesitant to open her eyes, confused as his baton was only inches away from her face, looking as if it was forcingly being held back by something.
"Part of Jolyne's powers?" Kushina asked.
"Or someone else?" Minato shrugged back.
She finally saw it. The blood.
The Tom Cruise look alikes right cheek was splashed crimson. Trickling down like a fountain onto his uniform.
It took the disgrace of a man a moment to realise his ear was sliced off. Sticking to the metal wall before falling with a wet and meaty splat.
Falling to his knees as he brought his shaking hand to his wounded area, body shaking as his eyes welled up with tears.
A blood curdling scream escaped the molesters throat, blood spilling between his fingers and staining his face even more.
(Outside the Bus)
The electric gate closed behind in soft click, the screams of agony muffled by the prison bus.
Jolyne eyed the hunk of metal over her shoulder, frowning as she could no longer hear the guards or Ermes.
Green eyes widened in surprise as her hand was once again normal. No longer a mangled mess filled with wire, as well as something new, a fifty dollar bill.
'What the hell is going on with me? What is happening with my body? What the hell did you do to me Dad?' Jolyne wondered as she entered Green Dolphin Street Prison.
"You're better now than before. Maybe even worthy of my spawn's attention." Dio said arrogantly.
Jotaro looked hatefully toward the vampire while Naruto himself looked enraged at his own alternate father's words.
The clock on the wall rhythmically ticked as the second hand counted down the seconds. Once again Jolyne was speaking with her Lawyer, her mind a jumbled mess as she remembered 'That' night. The night her friend ran over a man crossing the street and drove off. Leaving him for dead.
It's been two days since she entered the aquarium, two days too long in her opinion and true to his word Jolyne's lawyer came to see her with more information involving her case.
"…..Ne"
The ex-delinquent felt lost. Wondering what was taking Naruto so long to get here.
"I will be there as soon as I can. You know that." Naruto comforted her.
"I know but two days in a place like that on top of the time in the first one. It's awful." Jolyne replied.
"…Lyne"
Was her mother okay? She must be worried sick.
"Oh thank you sweetie but you are the one that is in a pinch, not me." Jessica said.
"Jolyne, are you listening to me?" Jolyne's mind seemed to be elsewhere much to her lawyer's chagrin.
"Hey at the police station you remember handing me that lockett or amulet or whatever it was?" Hesitantly her lawyer nodded "I *Sigh* ended up throwing it away, do you remember where?"
The attorney rubbed his sweaty forehead in defeat "N-No sorry, listen Jolyne I've been thinking of the best way to help you. Holding court can take up to half a year"
Several people's eyes narrowed as the Lawyer spoke.
"I don't care. I know for a fact as soon as Naruto gets here, I'll be out"
"I'm not sure if we can wait that long. Besides your one phone call, have you heard from him?" Jolyne remained silent confirming, no she hasn't heard from Naruto, something that's began to greatly worry her "I'm just trying to help. Now tell me, do you know what a 'Plea Bargain' is?"
"*Sigh* No"
"He's going to screw you over for some reason." Minato said with wide eyes.
"But why?" Kushina asked turning to look at her husband again.
"I don't know. Sensei pick up the pace." Minato said.
Jiraiya sighed and grumbled about being interrupted in the first place but continued as he had been asked.
"I didn't think so. It's a special type of court procedure. If you freely admit to being guilty to all charges-"
"What the hell do you mean 'Freely'?!"
"Jolyne please let me explain" the attorney pleaded as he tried to clarify "The Judge was the one who brought this idea to my attention, coincidentally he's actually a good friend of mine. He said if you plead guilty to all charges, including that you were the one that drove that car under the influence, he will ignore the hit and run charge"
"They're framing you….not just railroading you framing you." Naruto said in shock. His countenance darkened considerably then.
"I had better tear him apart." He said with a deep frown.
Jolyne slammed her hands down hard on the table, roaring at her lawyer "I refuse to take the blame for something I didn't do!"
The rodent-like man jumped back in surprise, practically pleading for the enraged girl to calm down. "Listen if we do it this way, the case will be a simple car jacking and accident. At the very least you'll have to do one, maybe two years? You'll also have a Grace Period" frowning Jolyne's attorney decided to ask the disgruntled prisoner a question "Do you know what that is?"
The ex-delinquent just gave a dismissive grunt as her finger tapped her arm. Taking that as a no, her lawyer began to explain what a Grace Period is.
"It means you won't have to go to prison and you can leave immediately"
"This guy is filthy." Tsunade hissed.
Jotaro was breathing heavily at not being able to do anything at the moment. Nothing was more frustrating than this.
"I don't want to do this stupid bargin! I'm innocent! I didn't hurt anyone!"
"Jolyne…I understand but please think for a moment. You can refuse the bargain but if you do and the court finds you guilty, you'll receive at the very least five years" Seeing as his words were having no effect, he tried a different method "Think about Naruto. How do you think he will feel having to wait five years or more? Do you think he'll even stick around?"
"…"
"Jolyne!" Naruto cried in shock.
"He made me doubt everything. I'm sorry." She said sadly.
The boy's eyes softened and he released a sigh. This lawyer, rat, bastard, was going to pay dearly for this crap.
"There isn't much time left Jolyne, please consider the bargain" Once again her lawyer left, leaving Jolyne to sit and think. What would she do?
It was quiet in the courtroom. Her attorney did his job and tried to defend her to the best of his abilities.
The judge who looked to be in his late seventies, squinting as he looked over the evidence, a wrinkled and frail looking hand reached up to scratch his chin. Humming as beady eyes went over each line carefully.
"Does the defence acknowledge the entire contents of the plea bargain?" Jolyne glanced over to her lawyer, the rattish man glanced back before nodding.
"Yes, your honour" The judge nodded as he turned to face the prosecution.
"And do you feel the same?"
"We do, your honour" , adjusting his frames that barely hung to the bridge of his nose, the magistrate finally turned his attention to Jolyne.
"Defendant Cujoh, does that mean you plead guilty to all the charges? And that by no means were you forced or pressured by any others?" Jolyne grit her teeth, hands clenched tight as she swallowed her pride.
"Shit." A collective voice said all together.
"Y-Yes. I…I admit it" the ex-delinquent nearly crumbled as she heard her mother sob. Wanting nothing more than to scream out, tell them the truth whether they believe her or not.
But she wouldn't, she couldn't.
The Jude mumbled to himself as he adjusted his tiny specks once more. Gently he placed his papers down and stared Jolyne dead in the eyes.
"The court has decided…Jolyne Cujoh has pleaded guilty on all charges, furthermore, while the defendant had no intent to kill, the court will take into account the use of alcohol" Hopeful green eyes stared up pleading up at the judge, her hopes that this would all be over quick and just go home "But let us not forget that because of the defendant's action she still committed manslaughter"
Jolyne's world shattered around, her mouth fell open and her eyes stared in horror. Turning to face her lawyer with betrayal "You…you never said he died!"
Her attorney remained silent, picking up his briefcase and turning away from the ex-delinquent.
It would seem the Judge wasn't finished as he stared down Jolyne with a disappointed frown "The court has decided to sentence the defendant, Jolyne Cujoh to a sentence of fifteen years at Green Dolphin State Prison. Court is adjourned" his gavel slamming on his stand echoed louder than any explosion could.
"T-This can't be happening. I didn't kill anyone! You can't send me away for fifteen years!" Jolyne turned to face her lawyer, practically pleading for help, for anything "Hey you gotta help me and get me out of this!"
The room was once more quiet as the readers tensed with anger at the injustice happening to Jolyne. None worse than Naruto and Jotaro of course. Jessice herself seemed nearly ready to cry at what was going on.
"I'm sorry but I've done all I can" With a bob of his head, the man bid his goodbyes to to the distressed girl "Take care of yourself Jolyne"
Jolyne struggled in the guards' hold screaming out for him to stop. She continued to scream and fight as he walked away.
Briefly losing her fight when she spots Sarah standing there with a concerned look on her face, biting her lip.
Jolyne's now ex-attorney greeted the girl with a kind smile, patting her on the shoulder "Congratulations Sarah!"
Sarah squealed excitedly, clapping her hands as she acted like a child on Christmas "It's done?"
"Because of the Plea Bargain, she can't appeal anymore and the case will no longer be investigated" the man laughed as he was pulled into a hug, gently patting the excited teens back.
"I can't thank you enough" the ex-attorney just laughed good naturally, smiling like an uncle would to a niece.
"It's no problem, I'm always happy to help, your father is my oldest friend after all" with one final hug, he turned to leave.
Sarah stared Jolyne dead in the eye, she blew her 'friend' a kiss, before walking away with a cackle.
"So her and the lawyer then." Naruto said.
"Yep." Jotaro said, both men had murder in their eyes as they mentally planned the act out in violent detail.
Jolyne nearly lost all her fight but she held on strong. Eyes going crazed, she started to fight as hard as she could, forcing more guards to come and restrain her.
Once more her hand began to turn into wire and with a roar of a lioness, she called out Sarah's name.
In her mind she promised herself she would get back at those two. One way or another.
"Good."
Jolyne grumbled as she was back in the aquarium, the wires in her hands wriggling and moving. She felt one crawl up her spine, reaching for the main buckle on her straight jacket.
'I…I'm slowly gaining control. I don't know what the hell this is and I'm not sure I really care. This power…' the ex-delinquent nearly cried out in frustration as the wire broke, her control wavering.
Deciding to wait before she messed around with her new power, now she had to go through her check up.
It was embarrassing for the teen as she was stripped naked for all the staff to see, embarrassed beyond belief as she was asked all sorts of horrible questions.
"I hate this. I keep being humiliated and embarrassed. Not to mention reading about getting betrayed. I just hate this." Jolyne moaned out.
Naruto and the others could only look on sadly as the girl tried to hide her face away in embarrassment like earlier.
She almost cried tears of joy when it was over, however something caught her attention, looking through the barred unglazed window.
"No…it couldn't be" Jolyne whispered, the same rodent features, that same mattered down brown hair filled with nothing but gel. It was him. No she couldn't, no she wouldn't allow this "I need more power…"
"Revenge, huh?" Dio asked no one in particular while smiling. It was sooner than he or any of the others had expected but at least it was interesting.
(With Jolyne Ex-Attorney)
The rodent of a man felt a smug sense of satisfaction, as he strolled into the prison, humming a jolly tune as he walked toward reception.
"Hello, I'm here to turn in some information about Jolyne Cujoh" Jolyne's Ex-lawyer explained as he held out some papers.
A short stubby balding man took the papers, briefly glancing down at them with him before tucking them under his sweaty arm.
"Oh yes I heard about the case. Manslaughter from such a young girl. It's a shame" the rodent of a man couldn't waste such a perfect opportunity. Hunching forward as well as clouding his eyes with unshed tears, he perfectly portrayed the defeated and helpless man who failed his client.
"I'm such a failure…fifteen years? How horrible. I hate that I couldn't help her more, that all my years at law school and yet it still wasn't enough" the potato of a man felt his own eyes well up with tears, the sob story actually working.
"Lying filth!" Several in the room hollered.
"You're not even getting paid either?"
"I didn't do it for the money" he continued to lie through his teeth, his rodent features scrunching up in a smile.
"How noble. Would you like to see Jolyne?" The dual haired beauties ex-attorney was quick to deny the request, sprouting off some made up nonsense about how his work was finished and he couldn't face her.
The guard continued to smile and nod before his bulging eyes widened in remembrance, rummaging through his desk, he pulled out a single sheet "That reminds me, Jolyne wrote you this letter, she left it here just in case. What luck huh?"
"Yes. What luck" with that he bid the guard a goodbye, while also wishing Jolyne luck in his mind.
"He'll get what's coming to him. No doubt about it." Naruto said with a dark smile.
The sun blared down on him as he walked towards his car? The gel in his hair started to trickle down his cheek.
With a relieved sigh he opened his door and hopped into his car.
Briefly he glanced down at the letter. Frowning at its contents.
[Pass this to him:
Are you feeling safe and comfortable?
This isn't over.
I'll get back to you sooner or later.]
With a dismissive grunt, he threw her letter onto his dashboard. Unaware just how real Jolyne's threat was.
(Back with Jolyne)
Jolyne stared down at her hand, clenching and unclenching her fingers stuck thinking to herself 'He's so close yet so far away, if that little rodent drives off and over that bridge then he'll be out of my reach'
Once more she reached out with her hand, watching the skin dissolve away, revealing her wire.
The strings shot out of her palm in a burst of moment, traveling out the unglazed window. The metallic string fought against the wind. Surging through the air like a predator searching for its prey.
As he sat there waiting for the bridge to be lowered, Jolyne's wires crept along the car, searching for an entry point.
The bridge finally started to lower, the rodent of a man continued to drive, unaware of the thin wires creeping through his air conditioner.
Like snakes the wires struck, wrapping around his neck deathly tight grip. First they cut off his airways, then they started to cut into his neck.
He lost control of the wheel, his car started to swerve.
It was almost instantaneous.
His car crashed into a pole and part of the bridge wall. He barely had time for his eyes to widen a fraction before he was flung through his windshield.
Glass impaled his rat-like face, while his neck snapped upon impact.
As he laid there dying over the hood of his car, his blackening vision caught sight of Jolyne's letter, stained red with his blood.
It was over.
The group was stunned silent for a moment. Jolyne's control and power with her ability were growing quickly and the fact that she could already take revenge on that vile lawyer just went to show what she could accomplish with a little creativity with her powers.
Jolyne watched impassively as her hand returned to normal, her usual breathtaking green eyes as where dim.
She could still feel her strings wrapped around his neck, trying to squeeze the life out of him but in the end it was a car crash that ended his life.
Ironic.
Jolyne looked back down at her hand "This power…I'm not sure what else it can do or how else it can evolve but with this power…I'll be able to protect myself much better"
This was a declaration or rather a promise to herself. She'll continue to use her power and become stronger. It seems she couldn't wait for Naruto to come and save her.
With a newfound determination Jolyne promised that she would find a way out and she would get her revenge on Sarah.
That was a promise.

"So that's the end of the chapter." Jiraiya said as he set the book down.
"You really impressed me Jolyne. With the speed you learned to control your abilities. But I will be there to get you out." Naruto said resolutely.
Jolyne smiled at him and nodded. Suddenly the restraints on all the people were released and they could stand. Jotaro leapt to his feet and looked about to attack Dio before pausing and looking over at Naruto and recalling the earlier scene.
Jotaro's eyes flicked back and forth between Naruto and Dio for a time before he locked onto Naruto.
"I'll deal with you later!" He shouted before launching himself at Dio
