Anyway, on to the fic.
The majority of the readers enjoyed some time getting to know one another, and especially Jessica as she was the latest addition to the group.
She got along swimmingly with Naruto's alternate parents as did Naruto despite how awkward it was initially to interact with them.
Unlike the majority of the room both Jotaro and Dio hang upside down suspended in mid aid by the Host's power.
Both glared across the empty space at one another until they were slowly settled back in their seats. Only to find themselves uncomfortably restrained once again.
In contrast the rest of the readers had earned a margin of trust and were left free.
"There will be no violence here. I do not wish to be made to remind you again. Now it is time to begin reading once again. If the rest of you would please return to your seats we can move on." The Host waved a hand toward the seats and the rest of the readers moved back to begin the next chapter.
With the usual snap and flash Kushina found the book in her hands. She didn't wait long before she opened the cover and flipped to the proper spot to read.
It's a strange feeling getting what you want after nothing but bad luck. She could still feel it, a thin layer of skin separating her strings from his blood and muscle.
The vibrations painted a clear picture, almost as if she was there in the car.
"Reliving the first kill. You never really forget the first." Jiraiya commented.
"Do you forget any of them?" Jolyne asked
"Yeah." A chorus of voices, and not all of them the Shinobi caused her to snap her mouth shut before she asked more questions about such things. She realized she wasn't curious enough to hear about murder and assassinations.
So lost in her thoughts Jolyne missed her name being called.
"Cujoh, get your ass in gear, it's your turn" sighing the dual haired beauty melted into the barber chair, finding it relaxing in a strange way or she would have if it weren't for the buzzing noise coming from the base of her neck.
Green eyes snapped open, nearly launching herself out of her chair, Jolyne whirled around in a fit of rage "What the hell?! Dick! Don't touch my hair!"
The hairdresser looked a bit disgruntled at being insulted but still held an air of professionalism "Miss it's standard rule for everyone to get a haircut"
Jolyne narrowed her eyes, noticing there was a hidden message in his words, it was only when she saw he was tapping his belt with his finger, revealing a bunch of hidden notes.
"I gotta pay you huh?"
"It's free if you want to be shaved bald but if you want five inches it's five dollars, if you want ten it's ten dollars"
"How much for no haircut?"
"Thirty" Jolyne handed over the money with great reluctance, annoyed that she's already spent more than half but then again, she almost came in with nothing.
Naruto breathed as sigh of relief causing Jolyne to glance at him with a questioning look.
"I love you no matter what, and you'd be pretty no matter what too. I like your hair just as it is though." Naruto explained.
Jolyne smiled softly at that and leaned into her boyfriend's side.
The ex-delinquent didn't have to wait long before she was moved. Gifted her prison jacket with the insignia G.D. St jacket sewed onto the back. Forcefully standing in a single file line with her fellow inmates.
The guards watched them like hawks, hands hovering beside their batons. Waiting eagerly for any excuse to use them.
The clacking of leather shoes against the floor echoed throughout the room. A middle aged man strutted in front of the prisoner, his large pot belly leading him into the room "To those of you who are new welcome and those of you who have returned, welcome back"
He seemed to eye each prisoner with a strong mixture of disdain and disgust.
"So this is the man running this place. Fitting." Jonathan said.
"I am Green Dolphin Street Prison's manager, Roccobarocco" clearing his throat with a nasally 'Ahem', he eyed his clipboard with interest, making sure memorize each inmate and put a name to every face "Now I'm sure you're all very anxious to leave and go mix around with your fellow inmates but there is a few thing you must know"
"This prison represents an ideal of our great country, placing importance on 'freedom' and 'Equality'" as Roccobarocco started his long winded speech, he never noticed Jolyne eyeing his pen. Her finger twitched as a familiar sensation ran along her pointer "We believe if you have your human rights ignored you won't have a chance to reform and become the outstanding citizen we know you can be. We allow special luxuries to our inmates, you may walk around, you can use the phone, read a book, if you do well here perhaps even own a tv"
The readers narrowed their eyes at the man's words. They were waiting for the other shoe to drop.
"Some of you inmates will be allowed to work, and some can even enter a university by studying. See we're not monsters, we just want to help you" Green Dolphin's manager explained, his tone seemingly kind but still held an undertone of warning that lingered in the air like a horrible smell "That isn't to say there aren't any rules, I strongly suggest you follow. No sharing of goods, you cannot wear anything metallic and no pens. If you need something to write with, pencils are acceptable"
"Are earrings allowed?" Roccobarocco narrowed his bulging eyes at Jolyne, humming to himself as he stared back down at his clipboard.
"FE40536 Jolyne Cujoh. No earnings aren't allowed, however wedding rings are acceptable but that shouldn't be a worry for you, seeing as you're not married" Jolyne managed to stop herself from saying something snarky, simply nodding her head in forced obedience.
"Good choice dear." Jessica praised.
"…"
Roccobarocco eyed Jolyne once more before clicking his pen and placing it back in his shirt pocket "That's all I have to say"
A guard took over for the manager, the veins in his neck bulged as he barked his orders to the inmates "Everyone turn and face left! As you walk through the passage, you will be handed your belongings. A guard will be assigned to you and will take you to your cell"
Jolyne smiled as she passed the prison manager, the robust man didn't even notice as his pen was swiped from right under his nose. Tucked tight against her wrist then hidden by her things.
"Nice." Naruto said as he jostled Jolyne playfully.
"That could definitely be useful later…I just hope no one catches on." Tsunade commented.
The dual haired beauty didn't have to walk long before she found herself in front of her cell, the horizontal bars she saw the faint outline of her roommate.
Thankfully another woman.
Naruto grimaced at the thought of Jolyne having to share a cell with a man. He would have been rather displeased by such a thing. Thankfully he wouldn't have to worry about it.
She was what many would describe as pretty, while being a bit thin there was still a fair bit of curve near her waist and bust.
Dark hair hidden underneath a voided hat that had a sort of bird motif. However what caught Jolyne's attention was the blue dotted tattoos hanging under her left eye.
"She seems like an interesting person. Hopefully she's decent and not a problem for you." Kushina said.
The two new cellmates started eyeing one another with a critical gaze. The ex-delinquent found her grip tightening around her possessions.
"You two behave yourself, especially you Gwess" Jolyne's roommate gave the guard a wink. The man grunted as he walked away leaving the two girls in a sort of tense silence.
"That's not inspiring confidence." Minato said with a sigh.
"Maybe the guard is just an asshole. She could be fine." Kushina said, though she had a doubtful tone in her own voice.
The ex-delinquent awkwardly greeted Gwess with a forced smile "Uh, nice to meet you Gwess? was it?"
"Yeah. You are?"
"Jolyne"
"Well it's nice to meet you Jolyne. Food?" Gwess offered as she leaned back in her chair, eyeing Jolyne critically.
"This is off to a fine start actually." Jonathan commented in surprise.
The dual haired beauty sighed, moving towards the bunks "No thanks. Haven't had much of an appetite lately"
It was instantaneous, just as Jolyne was placing her things on the bottom bunk, a force shoved her against the bars, gripping her jacket tight. Gwess was nearly frothing at the mouth.
"There it is." Several of the readers said with a sigh.
Even Dio had a flat expression on his face. "You really can't catch a break, can you…" he then snorted in laughter as he recalled just who it was having a hard time.
Instincts kicking in, the dual haired beauty started to fight off her roommate "What the fuck are you doing?!"
"The bottom bed is mine! Do you understand that you little bitch?!" Just as Jolyne was about to break her roommate's jaw, when a bird popped out of her jacket pocket. The poor animal looked frightened and tired.
Gwess was quick to back away from her cellmate, covering the avian with her hand as she moved her things from the top bunk.
"I wasn't trying to take your things. I thought the bottom bunk was mine" Jolyne explained but still kept her guard up. Berating herself in her head for letting her guard down around her cellmate.
A glint of gold reflected into the dual haired beauty narrowed green eyes. Why did that shine seem so…familiar.
"Wait is she like Jolyne? Does she have a power?" Tsunade asked.
"I don't know but I know something that she does have." Jotaro said as his expression soured further.
"Continue reading please." The Host said simply.
That's when it hit her. It was the pendant her father sent her, the one that cut her and gave her this bizarre new ability.
"I see." Tsunade said with a frown.
"W-Where did you get that?" Gwess eyed Jolyne curiously, rubbing the gold little trinket between her two fingers.
"I found it. Why?"
"That locket, my father sent it to me" Jolyne tried to explain, her eyes firmly locked on the pendant.
"You're full of shit" Gwess scoffed as she turned away from her cellmate, eyeing the little trinket in her palm.
"I'm not. Open it up, you'll see a picture of my parents and a piece of stone" eyes narrowed at her dual haired cellmate, a quiet 'click' lingering through the cell as the pendant opened.
"Well, I'll be damned. You were telling the truth" Gwess smirked as she placed the gold little trinket back in her breast pocket "You want it back right? I'll sell it to you"
"Well that should have been expected." Minato dryly commented.
Jolyne grit her teeth, the urge to beat her cellmate growing stronger and stronger by the second "How much?"
"Two hundred"
"Pfft, yeah alright." Jiraiya laughed. At least give a reasonable offer.
"Are you mad?!"
Before anything could be said or done, Gwess parrot caught Jolyne's eye. A slit appeared around the poor creature's neck, small hands spread apart the slit, reaching out and swiping a stray piece of food.
It left the ex-delinquent dumbfounded, wondering if her eyes were playing tricks on her or perhaps the stress over the last few weeks was causing her to see things.
"Gunna go out on a limb and say that yes, Guess very much does have an ability like Jolyne and the other two." Kushina said to Tsunade.
"Yeah I kinda caught on to that myself." Tsunade gave the redhead a flat look as she replied.
Whatever the case Jolyne kept her guard up, realizing that if her cellmate had strange abilities like her then that puts the dual haired beauty in a dangerous position.
As she packed away her things, she couldn't help but think of her boyfriend. Where was he and was he okay? Why hasn't she heard from him?.
Jolyne laid quietly in her bunk, her thoughts shifting from one topic to another yet they all held a similar theme.
Naruto.
Naruto frowned at the thoughts of his girlfriend. He needed to make it up to her.
As she was starting to nod off, she couldn't help but dream of better times together, before all this.
It was a cool day, a gentle breeze rustled the curtains, thin beams of light trailed over bare skin.
Jolyne fit perfectly in Naruto's arms, resting her head gently on his chest, making small patterns on his abdomen with her fingers.
"Oh no! Not again!" Jolyne cried out as she buried her face into Naruto's chest.
Naruto himself looked plenty unhappy especially as the teasing looks of their elders and murderous glare of his girlfriend's father were sent his way.
Smiling in content as he started to play with her hair, running his fingers through her silk locks.
Jolyne placed a gentle kiss on his chest before staring up at him, green eyes met amber in a tender look.
"I wish we could stay like this forever…" Naruto smiled as he placed a gentle peck on her head.
"Do nothing but lay in bed all day? With the most beautiful woman in the world?" His chest moved up and down with his chuckle, running his hand down her naked back to cup her hip "That doesn't sound too bad. There's worse ways to spend forever"
"Oh, a little charmer. You two are perfect together!" Jessica all but squealed.
Jolyne smiled tiredly as her hand reached up to cup his cheek, her thumb tracing his whisker-marks in a soothing matter "Is that something you'd want? To spend the rest of your life with me?"
Without any hesitation Naruto whispered out a quiet "Yes"
"Wait…does that count as a proposal?" Jiraiya asked.
"If it was that easy…" Minato mumbled avoiding his wife's gaze.
Jolyne's heart skipped a beat, her eyes tearing up when she saw the amber eyed blond was serious, breathlessly she whispered out his name as she crashed her plump lips into his own, the blanket covering their modesty fell.
Naruto dropped his head back against his seat as he groaned at the oncoming scene.
As they kissed, both could feel a multitude of emotions, love, happiness, content. Nothing in this strange world could ever ruin this moment.
The need for air became too strong and the passionate lock of lips broke, leaving the two teens grinning at one another like fools.
But that's what they are, fools in love.
"I love you" Jolyne nuzzled into the crook of Naruto's neck, placing a gentle kiss on a spot she knew he loved. Her eyes grew heavy.
The whiskered blond held her tight, like he never wanted to let her go, sighing in content "I love you too"
"They both said it." Kushina and Jessica cheered before looking at one another and silently communicating the need to meet up during the next break.
It was unfortunate that the two lovers couldn't stay like this forever like they wanted, knowing Naruto would have to leave and continue his assignment asked of him by the Speedwagon foundation.
But that didn't matter, all that mattered was this moment. They would deal with the rest of the world tomorrow.
A faint beam of light struck Jolyne's face, waking the dual haired inmate. Sad green eyes took a moment to adjust, a shaky sigh escaped past her lips, a single thought lingered through her sleepy mind. Why? Why did she have to dream of that moment now? Why did she have to miss him so much…
"Sorry..I guess?" Naruto jokingly said getting a pinch to his side.
Saddened by her thoughts, the ex-delinquent covered her eyes with the back of her arm.
Was this how she was going to wake up every morning? Sad and depressed?.
"It is prison." Dio helpfully said getting glares in return making him laugh.
"I mean he makes a good point." Jiraiya said.
"Shut up idiot." Tsunade said simply before motioning for Jessica to continue.
Jolyne heard some rustling from her left, removing her arm, the dual haired beauty nearly jumped out of her own skin when she saw Gwess lurking by her bedside, watching the disgruntled teen like a Hawk.
"Well that's not freaky or suspicious or anything." Naruto said.
"What the hell are you doing?" Jolyne was ready for anything, a fight, an attempt on her life, perhaps even trying to assault her.
She definitely wasn't ready for what came next.
"I'm sorry"
"You...what?"
"I'm sorry for how I acted. You're new here and me acting like a mad bitch probably didn't help you're process" Gwess seemed sincere as she apologised, brushing a stray bang away as she averted her gaze "I've been in here for a little while and I guess that's kept me on edge when it comes to people. I was just like you once, so I know how it feels to be 'fresh meat'"
"Aww how kind. I hope the two of you can become friends Jolyne." Jessica said happily.
Many of the others didn't look so sure.
Jolyne was left floored, not quite sure what to say to her cellmate.
Seeing as Gwess was waiting for a response, the dual haired beauty was quick to respond with a forced smile "Uh Thanks for that, it's been a rough few weeks"
"Understatement." Naruto rubbed his girlfriend's back soothingly.
The ex-delinquent's cellmate gained a teasing grin as she nudged Jolyne's arm "So who's Naruto?"
"How do you know about Naruto?"
"You were muttering his name in your sleep. He must be something special huh?"
"For a second there I was about to get really suspicious." Minato said.
"Yeah, he is"
"Do you have a photo?" Jolyne looked over her things, finding the framed picture she usually kept by her bedside back home.
Gwess gently took the frame from cellmate, eyeing the blond with an appreciating eye, biting her lip as she traced his form with her hungry gaze "You are one lucky girl"
"The kid's alright. I mean he's just a brat though." Jiraiya commented jealously.
"Jiraiya, you know how you have never had a chance with me…" Tsunade asked getting a frown from her fellow Sannin.
"If I was a few years younger I would ride him like a horse and give him as many kids as he would let me." She said causing the man's jaw to drop in shock and a few others to howl with laughter.
"I'm not sure how I feel about that…" Naruto said.
"Same here." Jolyne commented as she righted her grip on her boyfriend getting an eye roll from him.
"How do you two think we feel." Kushina asked.
"Well, I'm pretty much just proud I guess." Minato shrugged.
Kushina shot her husband a disbelieving look before returning to reading the story.
Jolyne chuckled as her cellmate handed the photo back "I know"
Gwess eyes lit up in awareness "It's time for breakfast, I'll see you down there?"
"I'll see you down there Gwess" Jolyne sighed in relief as she was finally alone for the first time in weeks.
Having a small debate with herself, the teen was unable to decide whether she should go down and get a bite to eat or stay in bed.
"You need to eat. Keep your strength up and everything." Jessica gently chided her daughter.
"Right, thanks mom." Jolyne said with a small bit of exasperation in her voice.
The gurgling and cramping of her stomach gave her answer for her, with a tired sigh Jolyne got dressed, praying that they at the very least had decent food.
(Dining Room)
The sound of chatter bounced off the concrete walls, all the tables nearly taken, holding a group of people ranging up to a dozen or more.
Jolyne felt out of place standing there looking around, holding a single plastic tray. The grumble of her stomach reminded her why she was here, turning to face the cook, a rather robust woman with dark skin, currently packing away her cooking utensils.
A sign saying 'Sold Out' lay atop the empty food warmers.
"'Sold out'? You can't be sold out! I haven't eaten anything yet" the cook gave Jolyne a shrug. Turning to face the hungry girl with an apologetic look.
"I'm sorry honey but you arrived late. We're all about freedom here, your free to sleep in but in doing so your free to wake up late" the dual haired inmate rubbed her brow in frustration, before she could ask if there were any scraps, a fellow prisoner came and stood beside the hungry girl "Right on time, here's your launch sugar. Have a great day"
"Well this all seems about what I expected. Still annoys me." Kushina commented.
"Thanks Marie"
Jolyne's brows frowned in confusion, watching the girl leave lunch in hand. Turning back to face the cook now named Marie with a frown marrying her pretty features "Why did she get lunch? She was late just like me?"
The tired cook gave a sigh "She's a worker. Sometimes they come and get their lunch during breakfast. Look honey, I'm sorry but there isn't much I can do"
Jolyne muttered a quiet "It's fine" deciding it wasn't worth it to make a big fuss of it on her second day in prison. Putting her hands in her small jacket pockets, the dual haired inmate was ready to go back to her cell, maybe hang in the small room till lunch but something caught her eye, similar to yesterday, she spotted something familiar. It wasn't the golden pendant but rather the photo of her parents.
Brushing aside other people's trash, thin fingers scooped up the tiny photograph, she couldn't help but be thankful it wasn't ruined beyond repair.
'That fucking Bitch!' Jolyne raged inside her mind, realizing Gwess had dumped her parents photo in the trash and done who knows what with the stone that used to lay inside.
"Well, I guess we know which side of Guess is the real deal." Minato said.
Dangerous Green eyes narrowed, searching through the wave of prisoners for her cellmate, there she was! Leaving the Dining room with some pip in her step, something that pissed off the ex-delinquent immensely.
With stealth that could make even the greatest of predators proud, Jolyne began to prowl after her Gwess. Just out of sight but still keeping her prey in her peripheral vision.
The strange woman found a place where she could be alone. Sitting alone on a bench with what appeared to be…her parrot? Resting on her shoulder.
"I have to say this Guess girl is all over the place. What a weird one." Jiraiya said.
Jolyne took the stairs, standing on a small platform that led to many cells, including her own.
Directly under her was Gwess, unaware of a thin piece of wire slithering down the wall like a snake.
Jolyne frowned as vibrations moved across her strings.
"…Darling…"
"...Love you…"
Jolyne narrowed her lovely green eyes, who was she talking to? A guard? A fellow prisoner who was it?.
"…I just want to see you fly my darling…"
Jolyne tensed as Gwess seemed to snap, snatching the avian off her shoulder in such a quick movement that it even surprised the ex-delinquent.
"She is dangerously unhinged." Jonathan commented.
"And she sleeps right above Jolyne." Jotaro grunted in aggravation.
The inmate seemed to go deranged as she held the bird in a tight grip, her eyes crazed. The dual haired prisoner decided enough was enough.
Waiting patiently for an opening…now! With her amazing wire-like power Jolyne switched the parrot with a stray piece of trash.
The avian lay limp in her hand, green eyes narrowed as she started to poke and prod the animal "Listen I know what I saw. I know you're not a regular animal! Now come out or I'll rip your little parrot suit to pieces!"
Jolyne thumb brushed against a small slit, near the avian's neck. Gently she started to peel a mixture of flesh and feather back.
Blood began to drip along her fingers, before the dual haired beauty could panic, thinking she killed the creature, a human arm and leg followed.
"No fucking way…" Jolyne whispered, jaw dropping as she stared down at her shaking hand. Before the ex-delinquent could freak out, she heard the faint noise of footsteps.
Dropping the bird carcass in surprise, The dual haired beauty hid behind a pillar, eyes widening once she remembers she dropped the bird, a thin piece of wire wrapped around the body, dragging it behind the pillar just as Gwess emerged from the steps.
The deranged girl's eyes swept across every nook and cranny. Her lips curled into a predatory smirk.
"I don't know who was in that bird, but they aren't long for the world." Naruto said.
Jolyne held a hand to her chest, her heart thumping against her ribs. The sound of steps began to grow faint, the dual haired beauty finally released the breath she didn't even know she was holding 'So this just confirms it. She has a weird ability just like me…'
So lost in her own thoughts, she never noticed something was happening to her until it was too late.
Jolyne grunted as she nearly slipped, looking down her usual enchanting green eyes widened in horror, a large puddle of crimson stained the concrete floor. An arm and a leg laid in the small pool, shadowed by the large parrot carcass.
"Why hello little mouse~" Whirling around the dual haired beauty mouth dropped. Gwess stared down at her, eyes crazed and white teeth bared in a dreadful smile.
"Well shit." Several of the readers said at once.
Jolyne struggled in her captor's tight grip, still trying to figure out what was happening. Why was she so small and why was everything else so big?
"Jolyne, Jolyne, Jolyneee~" Gwess sang to herself, throwing the tiny girl onto the table like a discarded object "Oh Jolyne, I knew there was a reason I liked you"
"Are all the people you guys completely nuts?" Kushina asked.
"Pretty much." All of the Joestars and even Dio replied.
"How comforting." Kushina responded hollowly.
"What the fuck did you do to me you psychotic cunt!?" Jolyne barked, shakily standing on both feet as the deranged inmate started pacing back and forth in their small shared room.
"You know I was serious about what I said earlier. I want us to be good friends, best friends even. I'll even go as far to forgive you for taking my darling away from me" Gwess leaned down so she was eye level with the shrunken inmate, her madness clear as day on her gigantic face "I'm not sure where I acquired this bizarre ability, I can turn anyone I want small, well except myself but I know we can use this to our advantage. How would you like to escape with me, Jolyne?"
"What?" Jolyne whispered out confused, taking a step back as the disturbed woman's face got closer to her small form.
"I'm not sure what you did but I'm sure you want to get out? Go see your boyfriend? Be my little mouse and we can both escape"
"Just say no!" Jessica said sounding like the anti-drug slogan used by schools.
"Jessica I don't really think she can without being harmed." Jotaro explained.
"Then just say maybe later but don't do it!" Jessica announced toward her beloved daughter unknowingly getting a snort of laughter from the young couple in the room.
"And how exactly would we get out? I'm not sure if you noticed but this prison is pretty high security" Gwess giggled as she poked Jolyne with her well manicured nail, giving her a condescending look similar to that a parent would give a child.
"The prison doors and main gate are electronically operated, behind the gate on the far left is a control center. I want you my little mouse, to go and open the gate using that switch and we can escape"
"That sounds fucking stupid. I'm not doing that" Jolyne growled out, glaring up at her deranged cellmate.
Jotaro and Naruto both gave Jolyne a look as if asking if she had really done that. The girl avoided their gazes entirely.
BANG!
Gwess balled fist missed the dual haired beauty by mere inches. Slamming into the table hard enough for it to shake and knock over the things littering the flat surface.
"It's only because we're such good friends that I'll let you off with a warning. Don't. Fuck. With. Me." Jolyne refused to show fear but she would be lying if she said this psycho didn't have her worried for her own safety "If you want to see that handsome boyfriend of yours ever again then I suggest you do as I say"
"This girl needs mental help." Minato awkwardly concluded.
"…"
"Good, I'm glad we could come to an understanding. Now I've made you a cute little suit to scurry around and help us both get free" Gwess threw a dead rat at the shrunken girl "I've hollowed out it's eternal organs, so there's plenty of room for you to move about"
"Well that is terribly disgusting." Jonathan supplied.
The rest nodded, even Dio. None of them envied Jolyne at the moment.
Jolyne gave her deranged cellmate a disgusted look "I'm not wearing this!"
"Oh I think you will Jolyne"
(A few minutes later)
"This is so humiliating…" Jolyne muttered, her face gaining a green tint from the horrible smell coming from the dead rats carcass. Forcefully carried towards the gate by her psychotic roommate "So what the hell do I do?"
"Unhygienic, horrifying, terrible…any of those I think I would feel more than humiliation." Tsunade suggested.
"You have to have a sense of shame to feel humiliated, Tsunade." Jiraiya said getting a heated glare from the blonde.
"Do not think you have room to talk pervert." Tsunade growled.
"How should I know? That's why I'm counting on you little mouse" Gwess muttered placing the shrunken girl between the bars "I would say watch out for cameras but since you're dressed as a mouse, it shouldn't matter. Good luck"
"You just wait you crazy bitch…" Jolyne muttered as she scurried across the hallway like the animal she was forced to wear. Her heart was ringing in her ears as she got closer and closer to the last gate.
"Hey you!" The dual haired beauty froze, eyes widening in horror "What do you think you're doing inmate?"
Gwess was quick to cover for Jolyne, pressing her body up against the gate with a teasing smile "Just going for a walk handsome, why? Do you want to join me?"
The guard narrowed his eyes as he barked out an order "What's your name and number?"
"FE18081, my name is Gwess" Jolyne managed to scrape past the man by the skin of her teeth. Thankful that her deranged cellmate was good for something.
"The only good thing she's done so far." Naruto grumbled.
"Get moving or I'll throw you in solitary" Gwess just blew him a kiss as strutted away from the gate, hips swaying with each step.
The distraction bought Jolyne enough time to scurry under one of the guards desk, taking in the room to its very last detail.
'So there's four steel doors and a camera in each corner covering the blind spots. I knew this plan was fucking stupid!' Jolyne growled in her head, just as she was about to move to get into a better position she was shocked to find she was stuck 'What the hell?! I was able to slip in and out no problem! Why is my head getting stuck?!'
Riiiippppp!
Green eyes widened as the skin suit she was forced to wear started to rip and tear around her body.
"Well that figures." Kushina sighed.
"Yeah, should have seen it coming really." Jotaro added in.
"Kid just cannot catch a break." Tsunade said.
"I hope they beat your daughter with those batons." Dio called over to Jotaro before laughing.
The Joestar fumed but couldn't do anything.
"Hey did you hear that?!" Jolyne looked down at her hands, watching as her body slowly started to grow.
"I'm changing back! Fuck! Why did it have to happen now of all places?!" Tearing the rest of the carcass off her body, the dual haired inmate pressed herself tight against the corner of the desk.
Jolyne froze when she saw the barrel of a shotgun come into view 'Shit, oh shit, oh shit!'
With quick thinking on her part, Jolyne managed to spill one of the guards' coffee onto his lap, using her wires.
While the trio was distracted, the shrunken girl made a break for it, dashing as fast as her legs would carry her.
"Fuck this! I don't care what the crazy bitch has to say! I'm not getting myself killed for her" Jolyne was so caught up in trying to escape, she failed to notice the bizarre creature chasing after her until it was too late.
"Good girl. Don't be pressured by your peers into doing things you know to be wrong." Jessica said happily getting looks from the rest of the room.
"Is she always like this?" Minato asked Jotaro quietly.
"She's a pure soul…" Jotaro tried to argue weakly.
"A pure idiot more like." Dio sniped getting Jotaro to practically vibrate in his seat as the restraints kept him locked in.
"Goo…" By mere inches the strange creature's claws missed her neck, instead nicking her arm leaving three large cuts, thankfully not too deep.
Jolyne released strangle gasp, holding her arm tight as she whirled around to see the demented monstrosity chasing her.
"What the fuck?!" The discarded rat carcass clings to its waist, it's body a shimmering purple colour yet it's eyes dull and lifeless like a doll.
'Was that thing in the suit with me?! Shit! It must have been what killed that guy in the parrot suit and what's making me small! Not wasting a single moment, Jolyne hauled ass and ran like her life depended on it. Her body continued to grow, green eyes widened when she found she couldn't slip through the bars as quickly and easily as she did before.
"These powers are honestly just confusing to me. That and a bit horrifying." Jiraiya said. He then shrugged and scribbled down some notes that he had been taking here and there. Most surrounded what he could recall from the earlier lewd scene in the previous chapter.
"Goo Goo Dolls!" The small terror went for another slash, hoping to tear the dual haired beauties throat out.
Jolyne's ability and her quick wit saved her once more, a flick of her wire wrapped around the camera hanging in the corner then wrapping around the bizarre creature. Halting it momentarily.
The force of its momentum lifted the shrunken teen off the stone cold floor onto the gate, yet try as she might she still couldn't fit. Smearing blood on the bars, the lubrication helped the dual haired inmate slip through, relief washed over her but it was short lived as the tiny terror ripped through her wire and continued to give chase.
"That thing doesn't know when to give up. But why would it try and kill her if it needed to make her sma for Gwess' plan to work?" Minato hummed in thought.
"GOOOO!"
'This has to be Gwess doing! It's sort of transparent just like my wires, if that psychotic cunt has one then that means I do too but how do I summon it?!' Jolyne didn't have much time to think, as the miniature monstrosity edged closer and closer, causing the shrunken inmate to panic.
Seeing a metal bar close by, the dual haired beauty acted without thinking, jumping and reaching for metallic structure. As her fingers curled around the cool steel, the monster chasing her managed to clip her ankle with its claws.
Jolyne grit her teeth in pain, pulling herself up while curling the rest of her body inwards, to keep any part of her out of reach.
Once again her body started to grow. Her air waves blocked as the metal structure that saved her started to strangle her.
"Goo!" Tears pricked at Jolyne's eyes as tiny terror slowly climbed up her leg. It's dull lifeless eyes crept ever closer.
Naruto pulled his girl tightly against him, as if protecting her. Jolyne didn't bother telling him she was fine. She simply enjoyed the proximity to her lover.
'T-This can't be how it ends?! I still need to prove I'm innocent! I need to get back to Mom!' Her life flashed before her eyes, it was the last image however that stuck out the most. It was Naruto standing there with his vulpine grin 'No I can't die here! Naruto's waiting for me!'
"That's my boy." Minato and Kushina said with smirks at learning he had such an impact on Jolyne's life.
"Not this time he's not." Dio said with a smirk getting frowns from the two Shinobi.
"Get away!"
Boom!
Something struck the creature with such velocity and power that it left it deeply indented into the wall.
Jolyne could only stare with wide disbelieving green eyes, her jaw dropped as the creature pulled itself out of its little hole. Shaking its head, the little terror attacked once more with a newfound ferocity.
BOOM!
"That's my girl." Naruto said softly with a warm voice as he looked down at Jolyne.
"No, that's MY GIRL!" Jotaro snarled as the teens ignored him completely.
Once again it was struck but this time whatever hit the little horror, didn't disappear. An ethereal arm studded and cyan in colour kept it pressed against the wall.
Jolyne's eyes traveled up the arm, eyes widening when she realised it was constructed by her wires.
A torso began to take form, followed by shoulders and finally a head.
Jolyne's ethereal protector was just as bizarre as Gwess. Wearing what appears to be a pair of sunglasses varying in darkness, obscuring vertically ridged eyes.
Four blade-like protrusions run over its head from the top of the jaw to the back of its neck, bordering the sides of both eyes. Cones truncated at a length of one-third the width of its head protrude from the region of the ears.
Elliptical shoulder pads with a snakeskin pattern, connected its arms to its torso.
"It's weird but I think it looks pretty cool." Kushina said to Jolyne.
The tiny monstrosity, seeing that it had no chance, tried to flee but Jolyne's protector proved to be faster. Snatching it up in tight grip, similar to how Gwess treated the dual haired beauty earlier.
"I got you, you little fucker!" The creature cried out in agony as the tight grip holding it only got tighter "Now call Gwess or I'll rip you to shreds!"
As the old saying goes, speak of the devil and they shall appear.
Gwess limped into view, bloody and beaten.
"I-I really underestimated you, my little mouse. To think you would have a power like my Goo Goo Dolls" Jolyne roared as her ethereal spirit followed her orders, whirling around to attack her tormentor. However, the deranged woman fell to her knees, holding up her hands in a form of surrender. "Wait, please don't hurt me anymore! I'm so sorry Jolyne!"
"Kill her!" Several of the readers called out surprising Jolyne.
"Shut up! I'm not in the mood for anymore of your shit Gwess! Shrink my body, so I'm loose or else I'll tear your goddamn head off!" Gwess sobbed as she did as Jolyne ordered, shrinking the teen so she slipped past the metal structure with ease.
The dual haired inmate grunted as she landed on her feet, glaring up at the sobbing woman with disgust shining in her enraged emerald green eyes.
"Let's just forget what happened! I won't bother you ever again, I'll even give you the bottom bunk!"
"I told you I don't care about that crap! Just give me the pendant with the stone inside and I want to know who you got it from!" Gwess shaking hands fumbled in her pockets searching for the small golden trinket.
"I-I got it from a girl called…Er something. Ermes, I think her name was called?"
"Ermes?" Jolyne muttered the name of the acquaintance she shared the bus ride to this hell hole.
"Aww, I kind of like Ermes…she's just a dirty thief though." Kushina whined.
The pendant slipped from Gwess fingers, rolling across the ground towards the gate, distracting the dual haired beauty.
The distraction cost Jolyne greatly, as her deranged cellmate struck her with all the force she could manage, accessing her abilities to shrink her roommate so she would slip right through the bars.
Gwess cackled like a mad woman, sneering down at teen as she forced her to grow full size "Ahahaha! You fell for it! Guards! Come quick, she's escaping!"
Jolyne charged at the gate, clawing at cellmates face, only for her to miss by mere inches.
"Hey you! How did you get past the gate?!"
Jolyne ignored the guard as she glared bloody murder, at her cellmate.
The light above the gate flashed red coating the small hallway in colour.
Once again summoning her protector, Jolyne tried to strike Gwess, but a sheet of metal sprung from the roof blocking her blow.
"I told you not to fuck with me Jolyne! That guard went to pick up his shotgun and since you're behind the gate he's got the right to shoot your ass! I sure do hope that boyfriend of yours comes to visit! Maybe he'll need some comf-!" Gwess' mad rant was interrupted by a cyan coloured fist and an arm phasing through the metal, striking the deranged woman with enough force to spit open her cheek.
"As if I would bitch." Naruto grumbled causing Jolyne to smirk.
"Yare Yare Dawa" Jolyne muttered, brushing aside a stray bang "Just shut the fuck up for once. I'm tired of listening to you talk" the dual haired beauty eyed her spectral protector "You gave yours a name right? Goo Goo Dolls? I suppose if you gave yours a name it's only fitting that I do something similar"
"J-Jolyne…p-please" Gwess pleas were ignored, as the spirits grip tightened around the bloody woman's collar.
"I'll call it Stone Free! Because I know I'll become free from this stone hell hole!" Jolyne declared as she was surrounded by a shimmering energy, her green eyes glowing menacingly through the darkness.
Stone Free took that as it's mistress command, ruthlessly pummeling Gwess with bone shattering force, ferociously crying out "ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!"
Multiple wires wrapped around the beaten woman like a boa constricting around their prey. Jolyne forced her cellmates face against the bars "Now here's what's gonna happen, you're going to shrink me down and get me out of here or I'll cut you in two, got it?"
Gwess whimpered as she followed her orders, shrinking and then unshrinking the teen she used to torment.
It seemed to be just in the nick of time as two guards barreled into the gate aiming their shotguns at nothing but thin air.
"That was close." Jessica sighed in relief. She wasn't all that happy about the situation but at least her daughter was seemingly on top of things when it counted.
(Later that night)
Jolyne rested comfortably in the bottom bunk, arms folded behind her head. The green eyed beauty couldn't help but stare up into the darkness with a deep frown marrying her pretty features.
'Naruto…you have a power just like mine and you've been carrying something like this around for so long. I've been so blind, but no longer. I can finally see things more clearly and once I get out of here, I can help you just like how you helped me' Jolyne promised herself that she would help her lover anyway she can, finally understanding why he would leave for weeks on end. As her thoughts drifted from her boyfriend onto her father, the dual haired teen couldn't help but sigh 'I guess this might explain some of your behavior as well old man. I can't forgive you for everything but I can start to understand'
Jotaro's eyes widened before he smiled slightly at the thoughts of his daughter. Similarly Naruto was grinning at his girlfriend as he thought of the two of them becoming an unbeatable duo with their stands.
Just like with her power the teen started to grow, maturing into the wonderful woman both her father and boyfriend knew she could be.
"That's my girl." Both said, causing Jotaro to glare at Naruto again while the boy ignored him.
Dio hummed as he looked over at Naruto and realized that what he was doing was driving Jotaro up the wall. He hummed again thoughtfully as he turned to look at Jessica.
There wasn't much here for him, but if he could do something against the Joestars…that would be enough for now.
It had been a quiet and tense drive.
Naruto had been left in a state of constant worry ever since he got that phone call from Jolyne. The whiskered blond struggled to eat or sleep, thoughts stuck on his girlfriend, was she okay? Is she hurt?.
Jolyne smiled at seeing he was so worried about her.
He guessed it probably didn't help that he spent most the drive staring down at old photos on his phone.
'She must be wondering why I haven't called…' the whiskered blond glanced over to the driver's seat, Jotaro having been stone faced ever since he heard the news. He was hard to read to anyone else but the amber eyed teen had spent years around the man. He knew better.
Dio's earlier look of contemplation had turned to one of disappointment as it was clear that his not-son was enthralled by the Joestar girl.
Jolyne's father was furious and worried for his daughter but he kept it hidden. A weakness he wouldn't allow his enemies to exploit.
"I know you want to call her" Naruto put his phone away, grumbling as he adjusted his position to sit for the tenth time "I want to too but we can't. We'll give away our position"
"Most would say it isn't very smart to go into a trap on purpose" the teen joked as he took a sip of water.
"Most people can't do what you and I can do" Jotaro allowed himself to smile briefly before going stoned face once more "Don't worry about Jolyne, she's strong. You should know that"
"I know. It doesn't stop me from worrying"
Jotaro glanced down to his left hand, eyeing the silver band that lay faithfully still on his ring finger "I used to be just like you. Every time I would leave Jolyne and her mother, I couldn't do much of anything. I always felt…empty"
"I do like seeing you two get along so well." Jessica said.
"Same here." Jolyne added.
At that Jotaro's glare lessened considerably. He didn't mind Naruto that was for sure. He was probably the best boy his girl could wind up with too. Being around Dio like this didn't help though, and being forced to witness him take Jolyne's virginity had made things even worse for his mood.
"How did you learn to deal with it?" Naruto asked, as he looked over to the closest thing he had as a father.
"I didn't have to worry as much. I knew she was well looked after with you" the whiskered blond couldn't stop the massive grin stretching across his face even if he tried. Scratching his spikes blond locks as faint embarrassed blush dusted his whiskered cheeks.
Naruto would never say it out loud but he looked up to Jotaro, the man's kind words meant a lot to the blond. He would make sure to never forget them.
"Yeah well, you're not so bad yourself old timer" the world's best marine biologist couldn't help but chuckle. He liked the kid, even if he was a bit of a smart ass.
Naruto looked confused as the car parked near a local fast food chain "What are we doing here?"
"You need to eat. If there's going to be trouble like we expect then you need to be in top form" the whiskered blond sighed as he followed Jotaro out the car, groaning as he stretched tight muscles.
"Alright but only a small meal. I'm not that hungry"
"You guys already act like father and son there." Jolyne said with surprise.
"Yeah well…maybe I don't hate him." Jotaro said.
"Oh yeah?" She asked with a grin.
"Maybe I like him…" Jotaro admitted.
"Just maybe?" Jessica aksed joining her daughter in teasing Jotaro.
"Don't push the maybe, baby." Jotaro said seriously causing both of them to giggle and Jotaro to sigh, despite the smile on his face.
(A few minutes later)
"Mhmm" Naruto groaned as he ate his fourth burger, the delicious mixture of three different animals, topped with a smokey sauce soothed his incredible hunger.
"Yare Yare daze. I don't know where the hell you put it kid" Jotaro muttered as he sipped his coffee.
"Outlets is the same way…he emptied my wallet so many times." Jiraiya said with a fake tear in his eye.
"Don't pull that, Jiraiya. You emptied out that kids waller for hookers and booze regularly. Practically everytime he turned his back." Tsunade said.
"You fucking what?!" Kushina and Minato demanded outraged.
Thankfully both were suddenly restrained by the Host.
"Please continue the chapter." The Host requested.
Naruto didn't answer as he stuffed his face with a handful of fries, sighing in content as he finished the rest of his shake "I feel one hundred precent again"
"You look better" Jotaro finished the rest of his drink, ocean blue eyes hardening "Are you ready?"
Naruto nodded as he stood next to the man, Gold Experience shimmering to existence, standing protectively by his side "I'm ready"
The son of Dio working alongside his fathers greatest enemy, the Great Great Grandson of Jonathan Joestar.
It was poetic.
"And totally unfair for anyone against them. It'll be great." Naruto said while shooting a smirk toward Jotaro who couldn't help but smirk back with a nod.
Naruto eyed the prison with disdain before glancing over to Jotaro, with a nod the two stand users marched into the 'Aquarium'. Ready to face anyone that stood in their way.
Naruto felt himself growing anxious.
The small disgusting room did little to ease the growing nerves. He wasn't sure what had him so concerned.
Maybe it's because that prick Johngalli was lingering around and could strike at any moment. Maybe it's because he hasn't seen Jolyne in a while and he's scared of what she'll say when she sees him.
"When the two of you meet again it's going to be wonderful. You're both so worried apart from one another, it's like a romance novel." Jessica commented.
Jiraiya hummed in thought at that notion. Tsunade didn't stop him either…she wasn't opposed to reading abother serious novel like his first. Especially if it was a romance story.
Naruto's head snapped to attention when he heard the sound of footsteps. She was close.
The guard, a misshapen blob of a man entered the room. Sweaty grime covered face as he gave both stand users his version of an intimidating glare "You two better follow the rules or you'll find yourselves locked inside, alongside you little friend. You got that?"
Naruto clenched his fist, wanting nothing more than to crack the misshapen man's head open, but Jolyne was so close. He couldn't allow his temper to get the best of him "We understand"
The guard gave them a once over before moving to the door, grumbling as the hunk metal slowly opened "FE40536 you may enter"
Naruto could feel his heart in his throat, each step seemed to take an eternity, but then he saw the familiar shade of blond and black.
Her face was shadowed by her hair.
"Jolyne…" Jolyne tensed, slowly her hair parted, her lovely jade green eyes began to tear up.
"Naruto…" Naruto didn't know when he started to move, honestly if you asked he couldn't remember what happened for those brief seconds. All he knows is that one second he was taking in Jolyne for the first time in weeks, the next she's in his arms holding him tight "I've missed you so much!"
The whiskered blond was quick to pull the distressed girl into a tight loving hug. Pecking cheek as he rocked her back and forth.
"Aww!" Several of the readers called out at seeing the reunion.
"It's okay, I'm here. I told you I was coming to get you" Naruto whispered cupping her cheeks with both hands, his thumbs brushing away her gentle tears.
"I will never doubt you again." Jolyne said with a smile as she hugged her lover.
Jotaro faintly grimaced but slowly came around as he recalled just how much the pair of teens cared for one another.
Jolyne wrapped her cuffed hands around the back of boyfriends neck, pulling him down into a deep loving kiss.
Separating tearful jade met kind amber, lip trembling as she rested her head against Naruto's own, nuzzling into his warmth "I-I thought you left me…"
"Never"
Jotaro couldn't help but smile softly at the sight of the two lovers reunited. It was heartwarming to see them both so happy to be together again but time was of the essence "Jolyne, did you get the pendant I sent you?"
The dual haired beauty separated from the whiskered blond, staring at her father with a hint of surprise and confusion "Dad…"
The room grew awkward as father and daughter stared at one another.
"Family reunion, yayyy" Naruto joked, trying to break the tension. Unfortunately the amber eyed teen was ignored.
"Well that is awkward." Jiraiya said sympathetically to Naruto for being caught in the middle of it.
"What are you doing here?" Jolyne asked her father, removing her cuffed hands from behind her lover's neck.
"I came to see you" Jotaro looked down at his daughters hands, noticing her bandaged fingers "What happened to your hand?"
Jolyne glanced at the guard then back at her father, she could feel Naruto shaking with rage by her side.
"Oi, asshole, did you do this?" The guard grinned at the amber eyed blond, yellow teeth shining in the room.
"Oh he had better not have. Break him Naruto!" Kushina crowed at her sort of son.
"So what if I did? She wasn't cooperating. I had to get a little violent" Naruto moved protectively in front of Jolyne.
"Is that right?"
"Yea-!"
WHAM!
Blood splatter across the floor as Naruto broke the disgusting man's jaw "Touch my girlfriend again and I'll fucking kill you"
"Do it anyway me! Fuck em up!" Naruto called getting a surprised look from Jolyne as he jumped to his feet tossing her back into her seat.
"Naruto you can't do that!" Jolyne grabbed the whiskered blond by his jacket, only now noticing that her hands were no longer cuffed "My cuffs…"
"Don't worry about it Jolyne, we've come to get you out" The dual haired girl frowned her brows in confusion.
"Get me out of here?"
"We know you've been framed"
"You know about Sarah?"
"This goes a lot deeper than Sarah" Naruto took Jolyne by her hand, leading her over to the table, the two teens faced Jolyne's father "I think it's best if your father explains it all"
"Wait really?" Several of the readers questioned.
"Oh yeah." The Joestars and Naruto replied.
"Jolyne…it's time I told you everything. About our family, about Naruto's family, about me" Jotaro explained, a shimmering gold surrounding him as he summoned his stand.
Turning green Jolyne jaw dropped when she saw Naruto's own stand, leaning against him, staring at her with a hint of recognition.
The dual haired inmate could only sign as she summoned her own stand, muttering a quiet to herself "Yare Yare Dawa"

"Oh I can't wait to see them tear that place apart!" Kushina cried as she closed the book and the Host snapped it back into it's place.
"You may take a few moments to relax. We will continue again shortly." The Host explained as it released the room.
"Oh, excellent. Now I can ask you a question Sensei…what was this about you robbing my son?" Minato asked as he turned his frozen ice chips he called eyes on his old teacher.
Jiraiya began to sweat as the Host seemed to decide being fair with it's ban of violence wasn't something that concerned it all that much.
