The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

Eve let out an inaudible groan as she found herself coming to. Her head felt like it was swimming, and the back of her head felt a little sore. Probably from passing out and falling to the hard metal floor. She quickly realized she still wasn't on the floor though. Instead, she was on something extremely soft and comfortable. She quickly sat up, which wasn't the best idea because she found herself dizzy from the move.

"About time you woke up. I was just about to come over and wake you myself had you continued sleeping the day away." A familiar raspy voice said.

She looked to the source and saw Frieza. His back was to her as he looked out one of the many windows in the room. Eve finally took the time to notice that they were no longer in that one large and rather vacant room. She was in fact in someone's bedroom. Three guesses whose room it is by the lavish furnishings and tacky taste.

She inched herself towards the side of the large bed that was closest to her. Eve had every intention to sprint from the room and get as far from the crazy little son of a bitch as she could. Despite the fact she was currently trapped on a ship, it didn't stop her from wanting to get away from him. She kept her sky-blue orbs on him as she quietly scooted to the edge. Her feet lightly touched the floor, and she quietly took a couple steps towards the exit, while still watching for any movement from the tyrant.

Eve barely made it three feet, before his voice cut through the air once more.

"Don't bother, you won't make it another foot to the door. And besides, I locked it." He stated, while still looking out the window.

Eve clutched the bedding behind her where she stood in anxiety. Her heart started pounding again. Especially, after he finally turned to face her. Frieza cocked his head slightly to the side and eyed her.

"Think you can possibly stay conscious this time around? Because I have some questions to ask, and you obviously can't answer them if you pass out again." Frieza informed her.

While the Evil Emperor reveled in the young woman's obvious fear of him, he'd be greatly annoyed if she fainted on him again. It was nauseating enough that she was out for a good couple hours before she finally woke up. A small grin made its way to his face.

"Forgive me, where are my manners. I am Lord Frieza. Your name is Eve, is it not?" He inquires.

She composes herself slightly and slowly nods.

"Yeah but...how did you know my name?" Eve asks.

Frieza's grin widens, "Let's just say; I have my sources."

She was quiet for a few moments before speaking again.

"Why am I here?" She hesitantly asks.

"It's as I stated earlier; I have a few questions to ask of you." The tyrant said, as he started making his way over to her.

Eve tensed up and started inching herself away from him as he drew closer to her position. Of course, Frieza noticed this, and it just made it rather amusing for him. It's like with each couple steps he took, she started shuffling further away.

"No need to be shy. I don't bite." He said, amusement coating his tone.

Please, he may as well have said that with a forked tongue to match the rest of his lizard-like form. Either way, he was full of shit, and she knew it. Especially, after what she just witnessed him do earlier in the other room. The fucking little psychopath. Eventually, she found her voice, and worked up the nerve to reply to his quip.

"I find that awfully hard to believe after what you just did back there." Eve said, in a low tone.

Frieza just shrugs, "That is what happens when someone fails such a menial task. I may as well appoint a toddler to finish the rest of that mission."

She narrows her eyes, "Or...is it simply you're afraid to go back and get the rest yourself."

Eve thought for sure he'd strike her or kill her for that comment. Instead, she was quite surprised when he started chuckling at the remark.

"Looks like the mousy little human has some bite to her after all. How charming. But let's get back to the task at hand and you can start providing me with answers." Frieza stated.

She quirks a dark brow in slight confusion. What questions could he possibly have for her, of all people. Vegeta has implied Frieza's cunning and manipulative behavior when he spoke of the tyrant to her. 'He's a sociopath, they delight in playing games with their victims.' She eerily thought.

"Questions? About what?" Eve cautiously asks.

"Why, about your Reality, My Dear. I simply wish to know more about it and its inhabitants. After all, it's not every day we hear about a being coming from a parallel reality from our own. It's...quite intriguing when you think about it." He implies.

Eve starts getting nervous again. 'What!? Why!? Why does he want to know of my reality!?' Her mind screamed.

"Why? What's the point of knowing about it? I agree it's a fascinating concept to learn of people and places in a different reality or dimension. But what's the relevance of wanting to know more about it when one will never see or experience it?" She asks.

She wasn't going to answer anything. At least not until she learned more for his reasoning or motive behind his line of questioning.

"Perhaps, but who's to say it is entirely impossible. After all, we are making more and more advancements every day here." He tells her.

'So, that was it. Figures, this lunatic wants to know more so he can find a way there. No doubt, he will try and take over too.' Eve thought.

"You make it sound like you're planning an invasion." She says, getting straight to the point.

"I wouldn't go that far. At least, not yet. I much prefer to learn more about certain destinations before I make any moves." Frieza admitted.

As scared shitless as she was of this guy, Eve still didn't want to share anything about her reality to him. She leveled him with a glare.

"Then I guess we're done talking." She snapped.

He figured this would be a possibility. But the tyrant was still rather surprised she chose to go this route. Especially, since she appeared scared to death of him and knew what he was capable of. It certainly was disappointing as well.

"We're done when I say so. And if you choose to be difficult, I have many fun ways of getting you to talk. Believe me when I say, I know all the games." He said, as he drew closer to the petite young woman.

Dread dropped down into the pit of her stomach at his words. Having no doubts, he won't have any problems getting what he wants from her. Eve swallowed the lump in her throat.

"Hurting or killing me won't give you your answers." She says.

"You sure about that? Because I can be quite convincing. And I highly doubt you'd last for very long. At least not before you finally cave into my demands." He replied, with a hint of warning in his voice.

Her eyes became glassy, and he knew then he was getting to her. Until Eve's look of sorrow turned into a glare.

"Then what are you waiting for? Kill me...Asshole." She added at the end for good measure.

He clenched his jaw in anger at being insulted by such a lowly species. Fine, if she wants to tempt fate and play games, he will play too. She will be singing a different tune very shortly. Frieza reached up and grabbed her jaw. Eve winced as he squeezed it. He jerked her forward causing her neck to painfully arch. The tyrant made it painfully clear he was not amused anymore.

"Care to reiterate that statement, Human? Because I refuse to standby and be insulted by the likes of you. Perhaps a lesson is in order to prove my point." Frieza said, in a low dangerous tone.

"Even if I did tell you anything, it doesn't change the fact that there is no way there. Despite what Whis and Lord Beerus told me; I'm still unsure of how or even why I came to be here. And even then, they still told me there is no way to return. I'm stuck here forever. From what they explained, I was brought here through some kind of divine intervention and if that's the case than that means it's an impossible feat for any mere mortal to accomplish. It doesn't matter how advanced people here get. It will always be something out of man's or alien's reach. So, it's still irrelevant to share any info with you." She gritted out.

As much as Frieza hated to admit it, she has a point. He only partially heard the conversation between her, Beerus, and Whis. Before the drone's feed started mysteriously acting up and fizzing out. When she mentioned something about divine intervention it gave him some insight on her sudden appearance. And he has a good idea on what or should he say, who was behind it.

"Sadly, I'm beginning to believe you. Though, I do believe that Beerus and Whis are keeping something from you. If you were in fact brought here by means of divine intervention than surely, they must know something about it. It's no secret that deities talk among one another. I wouldn't be too surprised if those two even had something to do with it. After all, their power and abilities rarely have any limits." Frieza deducted.

The tyrant released her and shoved her back. Eve barely caught herself on the edge of the bed. The look she was giving him was one of uncertainty and denial.

"No, they wouldn't. They have no reason to lie to me. Whis seemed genuinely surprised about my unexpected landing here. He even said, it was a mystery to even the gods on how someone from a completely different reality could just end up here." Eve rebuked.

Frieza just chuckles and shakes his head at her blatant ignorance.

"It behooves me to tell you this, but even Gods have the propensity to lie. There may be more as to why your here and they simply refuse to tell you why. Though I cannot fathom why they would bring some weak hapless human here from another reality altogether. Then again, no one can truly comprehend the actions or motives of Gods. Being quite the fickle creatures, they are." He says.

Eve still refuses to believe that though. She refuses to believe him. He's a lying bastard, and everyone knows it. This could just be a twisted way of getting her to tell him something useful. If not about her reality; than about something else viable to him. She may not know what it is, but she still doesn't want to continue talking to him any longer.

"I still don't believe you." She says, barely above a whisper.

Frieza sneers at her.

"Face it, Darling. You're a pawn in someone's game. If not Beerus, then to some other wayward deity." He pauses, moves closer to her, and leans into the side of her face.

Eve flinches and turns her face away from his.

"Or maybe, your just someone's recyclable trash to be used up and discarded with when they are done with you." He whispers.

Being referred to as trash made her clench her fists in barely contained anger. 'Trash', something she hasn't been referred to as or called in a very long time. It is sadly something that she has been called countless times in her past though. And the term still burned her to this day. It was then she said something she will eventually come to regret as she turned to him with a glare.

"I may be 'Trash'. But standing before me; I see this Universe's biggest Galactic Fuck Up." She spat.

No sooner did the words leave her mouth, Eve gasped as her head snapped to the side with a resounding and painful slap. Then she was roughly shoved onto her back onto the bed behind her with a pissed off tyrant on top of her. Her eyes widened in horror as he leaned in close with a glare.

"Looks like that mouth of yours has a bad habit of running away from you. And I'll be more than happy to shut it for you. As of now, I'm still wondering if you still have any further use or if I should just dispose of you altogether." He declares.

A stray tear escapes the corner of her eye. She feels utterly defeated and helpless at this point knowing that this monster is dangling her life over her head. Eve flinches when he runs a finger over the tear's trail none too gently. Frieza leans in until his face is mere inches from her own.

"Don't fret, if you promise not to insult me again; I'll make it quick and painless for you." He says, against her lips.

She couldn't help but let a small sob escape her upon hearing those words. Something that brought a smirk to his face. Before anything else can commence, a voice crackles over the intercom at the front of his room.

"Lord Frieza, your presence is needed in the Board Room. The delegates from Planet Ninyx are here and they are waiting for you there." Berryblue informed him.

Frieza pulled back and stood up. Damn, he almost forgot that meeting was today. Now he was going to be late. The tyrant headed for the door. He placed his hand over a panel by the sliding doors. It flashed green indicating the doors had been unlocked. Then they slid open for him. Before he left, he glanced over his shoulder briefly at the young woman, who has yet to move from her position on the bed. She was huffing and puffing like she just ran a marathon.

Eve slowly turned her attention to her tormentor and met his gaze. It was quite brief and ended when he turned back and left the room. The doors quickly slid shut behind him. She rolled onto her side and drew her knees up. She put her hand to her mouth as one sob after another left her. And she curled up in a fetal position as the sobs continue to wrack her body.

Until Next Time ;)
