Katsumi wakes up with the startling noise of her clock. She sits up in her bed and looks over at the clock.
"7:30" She says out loud.
Katsumi flops back down on her bed and thinks to herself "Another day of school."
As she lies, Katsumi thinks of what to come on that day. Normal classes of course, but then there would come forward the Sensha-do practice. As the thought of Sensha-do comes into her mind, she winces in pain as flashing lights enter her eyes.
She puts her hand on her forehead and it stays there for a few seconds, and then she pulls her hand back down.
A small reminder of what had happened during her recent matches against other schools, and of the thought of all of her losses. Sad memories begin to flood her head, but she inhales and exhales twice to calm herself down.
She stands up, and slowly begins her morning routine. Getting dressed into their schools uniform. Its like the Saunder uniform, a short red skirt, white collared shirt with a tie, and a light gray jacket on top. combs her blonde hair and walk's out the door. A small light breeze begins to blow. Katsumi inhales, exhales and begins her walk towards Summit All Girls Academy.
The noises of cars rolling by, the shout of nearby vendor's, everythings familiar to her. Her stomach growls as she walks closer towards the flower shops, right next to her favorite bakery.
As she walks closer and closer towards the flower shop, she's greeted by a familiar voice.
"Katsumi! You're late!"
She looks up and sees her friends Akina and Anka in their usual spot by the flower shop. Anka is chewing on a bagel, while Akina stands up, and rushes over.
Anka gives a wave, and smiles.
"You're five minutes late, Haruto has fresh bagels made and you come waltzing in late! They're probably cold by now!"
Katsumi rolls her eyes. Only Akina is one to care about food. But she was hungry and acknowledges it.
"Yeah yeah yeah, I don't mind."
Katsumi grabs a bagel, and bites into it. The trio begins to walk towards the school. Anka waves to the girls across the street as Akina reminds Katsumi of their upcoming match.
"Don't forget Kat, we have a match next week against another school. We have to win this, and prove we are the better school. We have practice the whole week and the whole of next week, and a bunch of exams next week. Oh yeah and an essay we have to write in one day!"
"Great, as if there wasn't enough stress already." Katsumi thinks to herself, but forces herself to continue to smile, knowing how painful the next week is to come.
As they approach the school, the banners wave through the air. Banners of their schools, their sensha-do league, team captains, and of course to tell everyone of their Student of the month. The logo flies on another flag. Just like Saunders again, its almost the exact same, but the difference of instead of a lighting bolt, it was a golden star.
They enter the building and the bells rings. Katsumi waves goodbye to her friends and heads to her first class. As she sits the an announcement goes through the loud speaker.
"Attention all sensha do student's. This coming week we will be facing off against a unfamiliar face, West Kureoji Grona Academy! Give 'em hell!"
Katsumi sighed and looked up at the clock.
"Not even quarter past eight" She thinks "This is going to be a long day." To keep her mind off of the subject, she pulls out her sketch book and begins to draw
Lunch soon drew near, as Katsumi waited patiently. Classes go by faster and faster.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGG
Katsumi calmly stands up and heads to her locker. As she opens her locker door, her favorite Kay poster floats down from her locker door.
She bends down, and picks it pauses to looks at Kay. The poster showed Kay winning a successful match with her team.
"Still looking at that poster Captain Kay?"
Kat turns around as her driver, Julia, comments.
"I still can't tell the difference between you two. You both look the same" Julia says.
Kat blushes, but doesn't say anything. It's her secret she adores Kay, so she tries to copy her without fail.
"Well there is the difference, She's more chatty, while you on the other hand are so quiet."
"I mean being social was never my strongest ability. You know that Julia. I'll see you at lunch, I gotta quickly put my stuff away."
Julia smiles, and leaves. As Kat closes her locker, a looming shadow falls over her. Kat looks up to see the President of the school, Kaitlyn standing over her. Kaitlyn was a tall, perfect girl. She had brown hair and dark brown eyes that twinkled in the sunlight.
"I hope you're ready for today's practice, Kat. Your commanding skills still impress me everyday. I'll be following you lead. " Katilyn remarks.
"Kaitlyn your always impressed by my skill to command." Kat says to the school's president.
Kaitlyn gives a small grin, turns around, and walks away back to the President's office. Kay turns to walk towards the lunchroom where her friends are waiting for her.

Chapter 1's out! Merry Christmas to ya'll! First of all yes this chapter is kind of short, but second yes the nickname of the main character is "kat" like "kay" that wasn't intentional, I just shortened the name of Katsumi to Kat. Anyway merry christmas ya'll and have a good day!
