The next chapter is up! Enjoy :)

Eve's unsure of how long she was laying there on the bed. Her sobs have died down some time ago along with her tears. Yet, her fear was ever prevalent. She was also physically and emotionally drained from what had taken place earlier with the Evil Emperor. Everything that Goku and Vegeta told her about the tyrant was relatively mild to what she has experienced so far with him. He was batshit insane.

She eventually got up from the bed when her bladder started screaming at her. Eve looked around the expansive room and saw what looked to be a single metal sliding door in the far-right wall of the room. She walked over to the door, and it slid open when she came within a couple feet of it.

The young woman cautiously stepped through the opening and into another fairly large room. The floor, walls, and the ceiling looked different from the bedroom. Instead of metal, every surface in there was made up of some type of tile. There was a large rectangular inground space in the center near the back. And to the right side of the wall closer to the door were two objects that jutted out from the tiled wall. Both said objects were metallic.

As Eve drew closer, she realized it was a toilet and the other object next to it was a sink. She went and relieved herself. Only to hit a snag. She couldn't find any toilet paper, and because of this she had to sit there for a few moments to a minute to air dry down there. Then as soon as she finished and stood up, Eve jumped when she heard a sharp flush right behind her.

As she washed her hands, she looked around the small area to see if she can find anything to use as a weapon to protect herself. Sadly, there was nothing in there she could use, seeing as the only objects in there were a stack of towels in the far-left corner in a crevice in the tiled wall. Eve sighs and leaves the bathroom.

She does a brief walk around the room to see if she has any luck in there finding anything handy, she could use. Eve became frustrated when she couldn't find anything in his bedroom either. She thought for sure she'd maybe find something on his digital desk on the opposite side of the bed. Instead, nothing. No pencil like objects, pens, or even a tiny fucking cactus plant. 'Hey, it would hurt like hell if anyone got hit with one of those prickly little fuckers.'

Though, something tells her, anything she tries to hit him with will only further piss him off and make her death a thousand times worse. Thinking about the possibility of impending death only served to rev up her anxiety and fear again. She even went to try the door just for the hell of it. Of course, it came to no surprise that he locked her in on the way out.

Eve found herself pacing lightly near one of the large bay windows in the room. She was trying hard to think of a way out of this mess only to come up short each time. Her only chance was with Goku and Vegeta. Unfortunately, she had no way of contacting them. And even if Bulma does contact them and tell them what happened to her; there still isn't a chance of them possibly finding her. Because for all she knew, this ship was out in the deep void of space somewhere.

She finally stops pacing and turns to face the window. Eve puts her hands on the thick cool glass, slumping her shoulders in defeat. She slowly lifts her glassy eyes up and peers out the window, to see a rather beautiful yet deceiving view. Swirls of bright colors and trillions of stars took up the entire view. Many would've found the view breathtaking. But to her, it felt like one of the last views she'd see before she died.

With Frieza...

What a tedious and uneventful meeting that turned out to be for him, and it dragged on a lot longer than it should have. Unfortunately, the people who he was conversing with seemed to have an unending list of questions for him and his subordinates. To be honest, it could've dragged on longer had he finally not told them that they were finished here, and he had other important tasks he needed to get done. He simply told them that whatever questions they had left to just message them to his subordinates at a later and more convenient time.

They understood and everyone excused themselves, thus ending the meeting. Frieza didn't bother watching as they all were escorting down the Docking Bay to leave. He just made his way back to the Main Room for the time being. He sat down in his chair and pulled up the holographic screen to get a couple things done that he meant to do earlier.

The tyrant maybe got ten-minutes of silence, if that. Before the double doors slid open at the back of the spacious room. The two individuals walked in and stopped by the side of his chair down by the bottom step and bowed their heads. Frieza barely glanced their way as he spoke to them.

"You made sure the dragon balls we have were securely stored away for the time being, correct?" He inquired.

"Yes, My Lord. We just stored them in the hidden safe in your Quarters." Berryblue replied.

Crimson orbs shifted to the two subordinates.

"And what is our lovely human guest up to? Still cowering on the bed like a fearful child?" He asks, with a slight grin.

"Last we saw, she was standing by one of the windows. Of course, she didn't say anything to us while we were there. And obviously, there is no way for her to get into that safe. The girl was quiet as a mouse and hardly moved from her spot and didn't give us any trouble." Kikono added.

Frieza snorted, doubting the slip of a human could give anyone trouble even if she tried.

As if reading his mind, Berryblue asked the one question that was on all their minds.

"So, we know what we intend to do with her yet, My Lord?" Berryblue asks.

Frieza rubs his chin in thought.

Back with Eve...

She watched the two squat aliens as they sauntered in with the dragon balls Frieza's men were able to gather for him. They barely glanced her way as they approached one of the back corners of the large bedroom. The alien woman placed her hand on the wall and some strange light flashed beneath her hand. To Eve's amazement, a compartment she swore she didn't see there earlier appeared in the wall and opened up. It wasn't very big, the inside looked to be about the same circumference as a medium sized locker.

They put the dragon balls in there. Then the little creepy blue alien woman placed her hand on the wall right next to the opening. A bright thin light ran up and down the wall beneath her palm, right before it closed, sealing the dragon balls within it. Both of them then headed for the exit. The alien woman's bulgy eyes gave Eve a cursory glance on the way out. Eve glared back at her and the lime green little alien man. It only made Berryblue's grin widen.

Then the two disappeared around the corner as the double doors slid closed behind them.

After a few moments, Eve walked over to the side of the bed again and sat down. She placed her elbows on her knees and pressed her fingers to the sides of her temples. Brainstorming on a plan of escape gave her a slight headache and mounting frustration. She lifted her head up and stared ahead. One thought came to her as she sat there.

Eve recalls when Bulma told her of these small circular pods that Vegeta came to Earth in several years back. The topic was brought up when the young woman walked into the Capsule Corp Heiress's lab one afternoon and saw her and her father working on a large metallic sphere. It piqued Eve's curiosity and she started asking about the interesting invention.

That's when Bulma told her the story about the one-man space pods. And how they got the concept from studying one of the original pods the saiyans came to Earth in when they invaded nearly two decades ago. Eve remembers the older woman stating that the pods were one of the few ways the Frieza Force traveled around space.

If that is the case, then perhaps a few of those pods may be stored aboard the large ship she was currently on. The only problem would be is how to get to them if they truly were here. She doubts she'd be able to walk about freely around this shithole. Plus, her biggest issue at the moment; was trying to figure out how to get out of this room.

Eve furrowed her dark brows and her blue gaze settled on the double doors at the other end of the room. That's when another thought hit her. 'Wait, I didn't see one of those two place either of their hand on that panel next to the door. Frieza did it on the way out to lock me in. If that is the case...' Her mind trailed off.

She stood up from the bed and approached the doors at the front of the room. Eve stopped several feet from them and stood there for a few moments. Then with a hesitant look, she took a few more steps closer to the doors. To her delight, the doors slid open for her.

Before stepping out, Eve cautiously peered out of the doors and looked down both ends of the hall. To her luck, the hall was vacant. So, she stepped out of the room. She tried to think of which way to go. It won't be easy moving around here and she was taking a huge risk in doing so. But the way she sees it; she has no choice. It would've been more dangerous if she stayed put in that room awaiting his return. She didn't want to think of what he'd do to her once he came back either.

The left end of the hall seemed shorter than the right and she saw what looked like another large square door at the end. Eve quietly made her way down the hall, all while looking around to see if anyone else may be coming. Luckily, there weren't too many doors on the way to the end.

It didn't take long to get there. Eve noticed a pad on the side of the door with a few buttons on it. She hesitantly pressed one of the buttons and watched as one lit up underneath her finger. A few moments later, the large square door slid open. There was no other room, just a small square space. 'An elevator, most likely.' Her suspicions were confirmed when she walked in and turned around and spotted another panel on the inside next to the door.

She pressed one of the buttons and watched as the door slid shut. Then it started to move downward. After a minute, it stopped and opened. Eve pressed herself to the wall and peered out again to see if the coast was clear. So far, it was, and she stepped off of the elevator. As she walked down the hall, Eve noticed there were more doors on this floor. Next to each one there were some symbols on the wall. Of course, she couldn't read them. Something that chould prove a problem for her while trying to find where they keep the smaller ships.

Eve had just walked past a set of double doors when they slid open. She froze when she heard a huge crowd coming from whatever room it was, she just walked past. Wherever it was, there were a lot of people in there and it was pretty loud. There was a lot of talking and some laughter. And not a moment after the doors slid open, someone came out.

There was no room or corridor for her to hide in. The last corridor she passed happened to be several feet down behind her. Eve turned to confront whoever walked out. Her eyes widened when she saw a rather burly soldier come stumbling out. He tripped over his feet and landed on all fours, dropping a bottle in the process and spilling some of its contents on the floor.

The alien man stumbled to his feet and clumsily looked around. His bloodshot eyes landed on the petite human female standing a few feet away from him. He turned and gave her a scrutinizing look.

"Lady, what in the hell are you wearing? Where's your uniform?" He said, his speech slurred.

Eve blinked a few times. Oh yeah, this dude was completely trashed. As in torn up from the floor up.

"Uhhh..." She was at a loss for words.

"You're a new recruit, aren't you?" He slurred.

Then a thought hit her.

"Yeah, yeah I am. Could you possibly point me in the direction of the room where the uniforms are?" She asked.

There was a pregnant pause and he clumsily reached down to grab the bottle he dropped. He nearly fell on his face when he bent over to pick it up. If it weren't for her current situation, Eve would've found the whole scene downright hilarious.

Then he stood back up, tilted his head back, and drained the last of the contents from the bottle. He then wiped his mouth on one of his gauntlet clad wrists and let out a rather loud burp.

"No problem, Miss. It's actually 'hic' further down this hall. I'll 'hic' show you." He said, between hiccups.

At this point, she had to refrain from laughing.

"Uh yeah, thanks." She said.

The intoxicated soldier gestured with his head to walk forward. Then he began walking; well, more like stumbling down the hall at her side. Eve hopes he doesn't fall over again on the way there. And she really hopes he's right about the uniforms being on this floor. And not a figment of his drunken mind's imagination.

They were near the end of that hall before they stopped at a door. He reached up to the pad next to the door to press a button. The soldier actually missed a couple times with his finger at first, but then eventually got it. The door slid open and showed what was multiple storage shelves with neatly folded up uniforms lining them.

Eve entered the room and looked through the various shelves.

"The ladies' uniforms are 'hic' 'hic' on that shelf to your left right above your head." He slurred, as he pointed to said shelf with the bottle in his hand.

She looked to where he was pointing and saw a few smaller folded uniforms. Eve reached up and grabbed one. Then she knelt down and grabbed a pair of white boots from the row of boots lining the floor beneath the shelves. Eve looked over her shoulder at the soldier who was leaning against the open doorway. He looked like he was starting to nod off and wasn't fully paying attention to her at this point.

Eve walked behind one of the tall shelves and quickly started to change. She unraveled the uniform and nearly dropped a second piece. She quickly pulled off her shirt and kicked off her boots. Then shimmied out of her jeans. And wasted no time in pulling up the light purple spandex stretchy midi leggings. And then pulled the matching stretchy top over her head. The top was also a midi and left her stomach exposed. 'Damn, these uniforms are skanky.' She thought.

Lastly, she slipped on the boots. They were a little big on her feet, maybe a size and a half bigger than what she wears. Eve kicked her former clothes underneath the shelves and stepped out from behind it.

She then walked up to the soldier who was still leaning against the door frame.

"Hey." Eve said, snapping her fingers to get his attention.

His eyes snapped open, and he briefly looked around before his bloodshot eyes landed on the petite woman in front of him.

"Can you by any chance tell me where the smaller ships are? They informed me that after I suit up, I need to head down to the ships. They already gave me an assigned mission and I need to head out." She lied.

He gave her a goofy grin.

"No problem, Sweetheart." He slurred.

Eve steeped around him and back into the hallway. He stepped out, allowing the door to slide shut behind them.

"You can take this elevator down right here. It's two floors down from this one." He explained, as he walked over to the elevator door ten feet away.

The soldier jammed his thumb into one of the buttons on the panel for her and the elevator door slid open. Eve entered the elevator.

"Thanks for your help." She says.

He gave her another goofy smile.

"No problem, glad to 'hic' help a fellow soldier." He slurred.

The drunken soldier pressed his fist to his chest and leaned forward to bow. Unfortunately, he didn't realize how close he was standing to the wall next to the elevator and ended up knocking his head into it as he bowed.

Eve winced and grimaced as she heard the resounding thunk as his forehead met with the thick metal wall. Then he fell over and didn't get up. The las thing she saw as the elevator door slid shut; was him passed out spread eagle in the middle of the floor of the hall like roadkill. Then the elevator slid down.

Once the elevator came to a stop and the door opened, Eve's eyes widened at the impressive area before her. The station was huge! As she stepped out of the elevator and looked around, she saw rows of small cruisers and mini ships. There were quite a few soldiers in there working about some of the ships and pushing carts with metallic parts and equipment.

She played it safe and stuck close to the wall and she walked about trying to find the small one-man pods. Bulma told her that Vegeta informed her that the pods were obnoxiously easy to work. How you simply place your hand near the door on the pod to open it. Then you get it and give it a voice command on where you want to go. Definitely seems simple enough.

It took Eve a few minutes and she was starting to worry that maybe they either didn't have them or they were all being used at this time when she couldn't find them. She passed a few soldiers, some of which looked at her in slight confusion because they never seen a human female before.

Eve started getting more nervous when she still hasn't spotted the pods. Then after a couple more minutes of searching, she turned around a corner, and stopped dead in her tracks. A relieved smile made its way to her face as she finally spotted the pods. There were several rows of the tiny pods. She was also surprised, because they looked even tinier than she thought they'd be.

She sped walked across the floor towards the pods. Eve was less than fifteen feet away now from her freedom.

"Hey! Who are you? State your purpose here." A rough voice called from behind her.

Her breath hitched and she stopped dead. Eve stood there and had yet to turn around to face whoever was addressing her.

"I'm talking to you soldier. You have a hearing problem or something?" He snapped impatiently.

Eve let out a shaky exhale and finally turned to face him. To her dread there wasn't just one but three soldiers standing before her. And each one of them had looks that ranged from confusion to suspicion decorating their ugly faces.

The one in the middle of the trio narrowed his eyes at her and looked her up and down.

"Wait a minute." He said, taking a couple steps forward.

Then his eyes widened considerably when realization hit.

"You're the human woman that came in during that failed mission from Earth." He pointed out.

Then he sharply turned his gaze to the men beside him.

"Grab her!" He barked.

One of them rushed her. Eve's eyes widened and with a gasp quickly turned to run. Only when she turned, she hit something solid, and two hug arms wrapped around her. She yelped and started struggling in their grip. The one holding her turned her around and she was facing the other three men again. All of them had smirks on their faces.

The one in charge reached up to his scouter and pressed a button.

"Come in Lieutenant Kikono. Please inform Lord Frieza that the human female is down in the Docking Station." He stated.

Back in the Main Room...

While Frieza was still conversing with his two subordinates over plans a voice over the room's intercom interrupted them.

'Come in Lieutenant Kikono. Please inform Lord Frieza that the human female is down in the Docking Station.' Came the soldiers voice over the speaker.

Everyone went dead silent in the Main Room once they got the message. Frieza fluidly stood from his seat. A furious look darkened his features.

"What!?" He sharply said.

His two subordinates also seemed quite surprised. Then Berryblue narrowed her eyes and turned to Kikono.

"You forgot to lock the door behind you again. Didn't you?" She quipped.

Kikono started sweating bullets and his lower lip began to tremble.

"Ye ye yes." He squeaked.

Frieza growled and jumped down from his chair, clearing all the steps and stormed out of the door. Berryblue and Kikono were hot on his heels and rushed to keep up as he trudged down to the Docking Station.

Down in the Docking Station...

Eve continued to struggle in the large soldier's grip. Her struggles were so futile though, and it made him laugh. Then she grew frustrated, lifted up her foot, and slammed her heel down into his toes as hard as she could. He grunted in pain, then lifted her off the ground. She flailed and kicked her legs out.

Eve felt his breath on her shoulder and found her opening. She flung her head back and nailed him right in the face. He roared in pain as he felt the crunch of his nose being broken. He dropped her and before the other soldiers could grab her, Eve made a mad dash out of there. They sadly, brought her back to the entrance of the station to wait for Frieza. So, she'd have to run as fast as she could back to the pods.

During the chase, she pushed an unused cart behind her as she passed it in an effort to slow them down. If Eve bothered to look behind her, she'd notice that a couple of them took to the air and started flying towards her. Though it didn't matter, because she was getting closer to the pods, and they were still ways behind her.

No one noticed the elevator door slide open and one of the individuals that came out took off with incredible speed to where the young woman was.

She was huffing and puffing from the adrenaline shooting through her. Eve was just about there. She had just rounded the corner and the pods were now in sight. She made it another several feet before something or someone suddenly appeared right in front of her. Her eyes widened in horror when she saw who it was. Eve couldn't slowdown in time and was headed for a head on collision with the tyrant.

Frieza didn't budge and his hand shot out and wrapped around her throat as she just about stumbled into him. She gasped and her hands went to his as he raised his arm and pulled her off the ground. She dangled by her throat from his grip. He then jerked her forward and she was now eye to eye with a very pissed off Galactic Emperor.

Her face started turning red as she desperately gasped for air. His scowl slowly disappeared, and a sadistic grin replaced it.

"What a naughty girl. Leaving so soon. And without saying goodbye." He said.

He released her throat, only to roughly grab the back of her neck and pull her flush against his front. Eve coughed and sucked in air to her deprived lungs. Her eyes widened and started to become glassy as she stared at his face, which was now only a couple inches away from her own. The sneer still ever present on his face.

"I can only imagine how you managed to get this far or how you managed to get ahold of one of the uniforms." He pauses and let's his eyes rove over her body. Before his blood red eyes settled back on her face. "Though I must say, the clothes are not a bad look on you."

"Let...let me go." She rasps.

Eve did not like the way he was looking at her. A look that instantly reminded her of the cat that caught the mouse. He chuckled at her feeble plea and pressed his other hand to her lower back, enjoying the feeling of her warm soft body pressed up against his.

Frieza leaned in closer.

"I may have use of you yet. But first, I do believe punishment is in order for this little stunt you pulled." He told her, in a low voice.

A couple tears left her eyes. She was in for it now. No, she was dead.

I had a lot of fun typing this chapter. I know some of you may say that her near escape was too easy and a bit unbelievable. But hey, you throw in a shitfaced soldier plus the fact that the Frieza Force is made up of the Galaxy's biggest collection of dimwits and idiots, and it's really not that hard to believe it's definitely possible. We can only imagine what Frieza has in store for Eve now. P.S. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Until Next Time ;)
