DRIVER!

It was midnight in a city. A train rumbled past on its tracks.

A building was seen. It was in the centre of the city and looked like a pair of angel wings reaching to the sky.

In an office at the very top of the building was a screen that displayed a glowing portal. It was red with a white core.

Standing near a window was a woman on her mobile. She looked to be around twenty, was asian and had a mature figure.

She had long red air that reached to her butt and green eyes.

She wore a white sleeveless jacket, a short white skirt, white sneakers and white elbow length gloves.

"Yes. By close of trading Friday". She spoke into the phone.

"..." The person on the other end said something.

"No you cannot have more time. You know the terms, you know what will happen." The woman replied.

A bank of screens displayed security camera feeds of several different parts of the city.

Including a certain street.

"..."

The woman laughed. "No this is not a veiled threat." Her voice turned hard. "This is a direct one. Should you fail to compile, the collapse of the economy will be on your head."

Another woman was watching in amusement.

She had asian skin and looked to be the same age as the other woman. Her hair was pitch-black and reached to her ankles, even with it being pulled up into a ponytail. She had purple eyes and wore a bikini.

"I will make sure you are stripped of power, shamed and hated. Is that clear enough for you? Or do I need to draw you a picture?" The red haired woman spoke into her phone.

"..."

"Friday it is then." The woman closed up her phone call in a triumphant voice. "Have a good night, Mr President." She hung up.

"Did you get what you wanted? My darling?" The black haired woman asked.

The red haired woman threw her phone onto a table. "Over a trillion."

The black haired woman gasped in delight.

"Soon, I will own everything worth owning. I will control the world through debt. I have absolute power."

"The world is at last you b****h. As am I. Nothing left, you just grab it by the hair, bend it over and-"

The red haired woman looked to the side in anger.

"What's the matter? What? What's the matter?" The black haired woman asked.

The red haired woman looked out of the window, over the city, for a minute. "A loose end." She spoke at last.

"A loose end? What?" The black haired woman looked worried.

"The daughter of the traitor Haruka, Carly." The red haired woman replied.

Now the black haired woman was no longer worried. "Her."

"She's still out there." The red haired woman remained on guard.

The black haired woman walked around to the other side of the red haired woman.

"The Wolf will find her." The black haired woman was still not worried. "They found Haruka and her w***e. And when they do."

The red haired woman finished the sentence. "I will rip open her chest with my bare hands and feast on her heart while it is still beating."

Next day:

The inside of a room was seen.

It was small, with a bed against one wall, a wardrobe on the right side of it, a door on the left side. To the left side of the door was a kitchen space, opposite the bed was the front door and to the left of that door was a desk.

A theme song was heard from a laptop on the desk.

It came from a laptop that showed a news site.

"The Gurongi's have been among us for years. They are increasing their power and on the verge of controlling womankind."

The laptop displayed the video of a blond haired woman in a black coat, wearing a black mask. She was giving this speech in a modulated voice.

"Citizens, we've been kept asleep in a manufactured illusion for too long. We must wake up." The woman pleaded.

A video changed to a brown-haired woman.

The bed's occupant reached up and shut the laptop.

"Why did I even leave that on all night?!" She mumbled as she got up.

She looked to be around nine. She had asian skin, bright-green eyes and black hair that turned to green at the tips. Her body was littered with hundreds of tiny white scars.

She got up and went to the bathroom.

When she came out she was dressed in the clothes she had left in there last night.

She wore pitch-black knee high boots, black jeans, a dark-blue jacket, a dark-blue t-shirt and pitch-black fingerless gloves. Her hair was pulled up into a ponytail by a black hair tie. Around her neck was a black choker with a red amulet hanging from it.

All of which showed signs of wear and tear.

Suddenly, someone started knocking on the door. "Carly! Get out of there! You're in danger!"

Carly got out.

By jumping out of the window!

She was off like a shot.

"Carly! Wait!" A voice shouted from behind her.

A wave of energy passed through the city.

"Not now!" Carly shouted.

The air turned red as the clouds started to speed up, moving by in a blink. Pieces of the road started to float up, revealing rivers of what looked like black blood.

Buildings moved outwards, breaking apart with the pieces floating in the air. The people burst into black ash, leaving behind what looked like black ghosts.

"It's too late." A voice said from next to Carly.

Carly looked over and did a double take.

First, a bit of a backstory.

Carly was an orphan. Her first memory was waking up in St Lamia Orphanage when she was six. She was told that she had just recovered from meningitis and it had removed her memory.

For the next year, Carly had a good life. The sisters working at the orphanage were strict but kind.

Then, on her seventh birthday, everything had changed.

Carly and another girl had been pulled into this pocket dimension. There they could interact very little with objects in the real world and could not interact with people in the real world at all!

Then the head sister had appeared and turned into a monster!

She had chased the two girls and trapped them.

Flashback:

"So who is going to help you now, Carly?! Even your parents abandoned you!" The monster that had once been the head sister rammed Carly into a wall by her neck.

"So long as you remain true to your path-." A strong female voice spoke.

"That voice, who?" Carly choked.

"You will have great power!"

Carly's waist started glowing.

"It burns!" Carly shouted.

The Kuuga Driver appeared around Carly's waist in a bright-silver flash of light.

KUUGA DRIVER!

It was a silver belt with an oval-shaped buckle. In the centre of the buckle was a black circle-shaped light. On the right, left, top and bottom sides of the buckle was a dagger slot. On the top of the buckle, behind the slot, was a silver button.

Carly smashed her fist into the monster's face.

"Argh! You little-!" The monster glared at her.

Let the battle begin!

A dagger appeared in front of her. It's blade was in a triangle shape and was colored bright-silver. The handle was pitch-black and under it was a bright-bronze trigger. Written on the side of the blade was the word 'ASTRAL' in bright-yellow text.

The Astral Element Dagger pulled its own trigger.

ASTRAL!

The dagger loaded itself into the driver's top slot.

The center of the driver's light lit up, displaying a hotel-yellow circle.

Another dagger appeared.

This one had a triangle-shaped blade which was colored bright-bronze. The handle was pitch-black and under it was a bright-silver trigger. Written on the side of the blade was the word 'DEATH' in death-purple.

The Death Element Dagger's trigger pulled itself.

DEATH!

It slammed itself into the driver's right slot.

The driver's light now had a death-purple ring around the circle.

Another Element Dagger appeared.

It was identical to the Death Element Dagger only the text was earth-red and spelt 'EARTH'.

The Earth Element Dagger yanked its trigger.

EARTH!

Then it placed itself into the driver's bottom slot.

Her driver's light gained an earth-red ring around the death-purple ring.

A final Element Dagger teleported in.

It was identical to the other two Element Daggers. Except the spirit was spirit-green and spelt 'SOUL'.

It yanked its trigger.

SOUL!

The Soul Element Dagger loaded itself into the driver's left slot.

The driver's light now had a soul-green ring around the earth-red ring.

The driver's button pushed itself.

GO!!

The belt made a ring of pure-white light around Carly's waist. The ring split in half, forming two rings. The upper ring rose up and the lower ring dropped down.

Carly's clothes vanished as her skin turned into pitch-black chiten. Her hands shifted into pitch-black gloves and her feet shifted into pitch-black boots.

Her head transformed, it now looked like a dark-black helmet.

Her wrists and ankles turned into bright-golden shackles.

Carly's body age to the point she looked nineteen.

This is the Initial Civilization.

HOLY!

A blast of yellow light exploded from behind Carly.

Her mouth transformed into a bright-silver mouthpiece that looked like bug teeth.

Her chest turned into a white chestplate made from scales, it had muscles etched into it and left her stomach exposed.

Her left shoulder was turned into an oval-shaped holy-yellow shoulder pauldron made of scales.

The sides and outside of her lower left arm transformed into a holy-yellow forearm guard.

A holy-yellow circle-shaped gem appeared in the outside of her left wrist shackle.

This is the Astral Translation.

REAPER!

A reaper made of death-purple energy appeared to Carly's right and swung its scythe through her, turning into energy and merging with her.

Her eyes turned into a pair of death-purple circle-shaped visors.

Her chestplate turned death-purple.

The outside of her lower leg turned into a thin, death-purple plate of scales that covered the outside of it.

Her left ankle shackle gained a death-purple circle-shaped gem in the outside of it.

This is the Death Base.

ROCK!

Earth-red rocks burst out of the ground around Carly before merging with her.

An earth-red rhino horn appeared from her helmet's forehead.

A tribal tattoo appeared on her chest plate. It was shaped as an earth-red ring and wrapped around her neck.

Her right leg hardened into earth-red scales. They covered her hip, upper leg, knee, lower leg and boot.

Her right anklet shackle now had an earth-red circle-shaped gem in the outside of it.

This is the Earth Inscription.

SPIRIT!

A human silhouette appeared above Carly. It was colored spirit-green and fell through her.

Her head's animal limb now had four bright-green circle-shaped gems in it in a diamond formation.

The tribal marking on her chestplate now had bright-green runes through it.

Her right shoulder shifted into a bright-green shoulder pauldron that pointed outwards.

The outside of her right upper arm was covered in bright-green scales.

The sides and outside of her lower forearm shifted into bright-green scales.

A bright-green circle-shaped gem appeared in her right wrist shackle.

This is the Soul Rune.

TRANSLATION IS NOW CONFIRMED!

She was now Kamen Rider Lightseeker.

She hit her driver's button once.

PREHISTORIC TRANSLATION!

Lightseeker teleported forwards in a purple flash. She increased her right fist's weight and decked the monster in the stomach.

The monster took a step back and then punched forwards.

Lightseeker cupped her hands and blocked the hit.

Lightseeker coats both hands in solar fire and punched forwards, firing a pair of beams that slammed into the monster, destroying it.

Lightseeker fell to the ground, she was covered in astral-yellow, death-purple, earth-red and soul-green energy, transforming back into Carly.

A knocked out Carly.

End flashback.

After Carly had killed the monster, that she had later found out was called a Wolf Drone Gurongi, both girls had been teleported back to the real world.

That was where everything had taken a turn for the worse.

As it turned out, people could see them in the pocket dimension, which was called Limbo, but they saw things in the Gurongi's favour.

Instead of a young heroine defending herself and an innocent, the people at the orphanage had seen a troublemaker snapping and killing a kind old lady.

Carly had to run.

That had been the story for the last two years of her life.

Whenever she tried to settle down, she was pulled into Limbo and attacked.

Back to the previous point, everyone in the real world looked like a ghost made of ash from Limbo. Carly could barely see them and not touch them at all!

So why could she see and hear this girl?!

The girl in question looked to be around eighteen. She had fair skin, blue eyes and short orange hair. She wore a white sailor fuku, but the bottom of the skirt was orange. She also wore white ankle socks and white school shoes.

She was see through but Carly could still see her!

"You're going to have to fight your way out." The girl vanished.

Suddenly, black rocks sprung out of the ground, forming a barrier around Carly.

Out of the ground burst a Wolf Drone Gurongi.

It looked like a female anthro wolf made from black leather. It was armed with a dagger that was held in its right hand.

Let the battle begin!

The Kuuga Driver appeared around Carly's waist.

KUUGA DRIVER!

The Astral Order Dagger appeared and Carly pulled its trigger.

ASTRAL!

She slammed it into her driver's top slot, making the light turn onto the Holy Setting.

The Death Element teleported into her right hand and she used her left thumb to yank on its trigger.

DEATH!

She slammed it into her driver's right slot, making the light turn onto the Reaper Setting.

Carly called out the Earth Element Dagger and pushed its trigger with her right thumb.

EARTH!

She placed it into her driver's bottom slot, causing the light to glow on the Rock Setting.

Carly drew the Soul Element Dagger and yanked its trigger.

SOUL!

She slammed it into her driver's left slot, making the light turn onto the Spirit Setting.

Carly raised her right hand to the sky and turned it into a fist.

"HENSHIN!"

She slammed her fist down on the button.

GO!!

The driver formed two white rings around her waist. The lower ring dropped down while the upper ring rose up, transforming Carly into Kamen Rider Lightseeker Initial Civilization.

HOLY!

A blast of light came from behind her, transforming Lightseeker into the Astral Translation.

REAPER!

The death-purple reper appeared in front of her, slashing through Lightseeker, adding the Death Base to her transformation.

ROCK!

Rocks appeared from the ground around Lightseeker, forming the Earth Inscription.

SPIRIT!

The spirit-green human silhouette appeared above Lightseeker, falling down and adding the Spirit Rune to her transformation.

TRANSLATION IS NOW CONFIRMED!

Four weapons appeared in front of her. They had appeared over the last three years.

The first was a black katana with a neon-yellow edge.

The second was a black dagger. It had a diamond-shaped blade with a neon-purple edge.

The third was two sets of claws. Each set was a comprised of a black pad that would go over the back of her hand with three claws coming from it. The claws were black with neon-red edges.

The final weapon was a pitch-black staff. At each end was a neon-green circle.

These are:

The Holy Slasher.

The Deadly Dagger.

The Rock Smashers.

And the Spirit Pole.

They vanished after a second.

Now the battle can really begin!

Lightseeker pushed down on her driver's button twice.

CLASSICAL TRANSLATION!

Lightseeker ran forwards as her fists were coated in purple poison.

The Wolf Drone Gurongi swung its sword down.

Lightseeker deflected it with her right leg and punched Drone Gurongi in the sky with a right uppercut.

Lightseeker kicked up, firing a purple beam that threw the Drone Gurongi higher into the sky.

Lightseeker took a step back and then shot forwards and up. She got level with the Wolf Drone Gurongi and slashed it in half with a purple crescent blade that was growing from her elbow.

Battle ended!

With the battle over, Lightseeker ran forwards.

"Carly, this way!" The girl shouted before vanishing.

"Who said that?!" Lightseeker ran along the peer.

Suddenly, her instincts screamed at her. She rolled to the side as a knife slammed into the bridge.

Looking back, she saw a figure standing at the end of the peer. It looked like a Wolf Drone Gurongi but was covered in black leather armor.

This is a Wolf Gurongi.

It held up its hand and its knife flew back into its grip, causing the bridge to start coming down.

"Woah!" Lightseeker raced forwards, she ran to the right, avoiding a hole.

Lightseeker leapt over a caravan as it fell off a second caravan.

The second caravan started to slid towards her. Lightseeker increased her speed and got past it.

Part of a building fell into the peer, opening a hole. Lightseeker leapt over it.

A hole opened under half a trailer, causing it to start sliding.

Lightseeker leapt onto the trailer and then ran up it, and landed on solid ground.

The Gurongi jumped into the blood river.

Suddenly, a new type of Drone Gurongi appeared in the air.

It looked like an anthro fly made of black leather and was armed with a sachel full of spheres.

This is a Fly Drone Gurongi.

"Target practice! Right on cue!" Lightseeker shouted.

Let the battle begin!

Lightseeker pushed her driver's button three times.

MIDDLE TRANSLATION!

Lightseeker threw her right hand forwards, firing a beam of rocks.

The Fly Drone Gurongi threw a bomb that hit the beam and exploded, blocking it.

Lightseeker grew a rock made from her right leg and jumped into the air. She spun, slicing into the Drone Gurongi.

Lightseeker landed on the ground and jumped into it.

As the Fly Drone Gurongi crashed into the ground, Lightseeker leapt out, throwing it into the air with an uppercut, destroying it.

Battle ended!

With the battle over, Lightseeker was about to move on.

The girl ran up to her. "Carly.

Lightseeker spun around, aiming both guns at her.

"Don't shoot!" The girl skidded to a halt and put her hands up. "My name is Honoka. I am not a Gurongi."

Lightseeker didn't by that for a second. "How come I can see you clearly?"

"It's a power I have. I can phase into Limbo from the real world. I can see you, I can talk to you, but I'm not in Limbo with you."

"And if I pull the trigger?" Lightseeker asked.

"I'll die." Honoka replied. "I'm risking my life for you. I want to help."

Lightseeker scowled. She had found out that help often came with a big price tag attached to it.

"I don't need your help." She turned to walk away.

Honoka ran around in front of her. "The Wolf Gurongi has pulled you into Limbo. I can get you out." She offered.

"I've been here before." Lightseeker explained. "I know how to get out, you kill the Drone Gurongi that pulled you in."

Honoka shook her head. "You don't want to fight a Gurongi. They are on different levels from the drones." She ran off. "Follow me. Now!"

Lightseeker rolled her eyes and ran after Honoka.

Honoka vanished.

"Where did she go?!" Lightseeker ran through a short allway as the main road was blocked by black rocks.

In front of her was a carnival ride that spun people around.

"Huh, I forgot the carnival was in town." Lightseeker tilted her head to the side.

The rocks turned into barriers.

A Wolf Drone Gurongi exploded from the ground.

Let the battle begin!

Lightseeker hit her driver's button four times with her right thumb.

MODERN TRANSLATION!

Lightseeker held her right hand forwards and formed a ball of green energy. She pulled her arm back and thrust it forwards, firing the orb.

The Wolf Drone Grongi slashed down, cutting the attack in half.

Lightseeker then fired six bolts of green energy. They vanished in a teleportation and appeared around the Drone Gurongi in a circle before shooting inwards and exploding.

Lightseeker threw a double palm strike, firing a green beam that washed over the Wolf Drone Gurongi, destroying it.

Battle ended!

Lightseeker ran along the peer.

She jumped up as the rocks had pushed part of the peer up, she easily cleared the jumping distance.

She had to repeat the move again as rocks had pushed the next section further up.

Lightseeker darted past a carousel with ponies on it. "I think I went on one of those as a child."

Lightseeker darted past various stalls before arriving next to a ferris wheel.

"Why do I get the feeling something is about to happen?" She looked up at the wheel.

Suddenly, the Gurongi arrived.

"Oh right, because I'm not an idiot." Lightseeker deadpanned.

The Gurogi grabbed the wheel and pulled it free of is mournings.

Then Lightseeker noticed a jacket at the top of the wheel. "Is that my coat? How did it get up there."

The Gurongi threw the wheel at the Kamen Rider.

Lightseeker leapt up through the wheel, grabbed her coat, placed it into her pocket dimension and jumped out of the wheel again.

"Oh just great! Something else I'm going to get blamed for." Lightseker groaned.

In the real world, the ferris wheel was rolling down the street.

Back in Limbo, the Gurongi jumped into the water.

The barriers came up and a Fly Drone Gurongi appeared in the air.

Let the battle begin!

Lightseeker summoned a new Order Dagger.

It was identical to the Astral Order Dagger, only the word was 'STORM' and written in storm-blue letters.

She pulled its trigger.

STORM!

Lightseeker removed the Astral Order Dagger from the Kuuga Driver's top slot and replacing it with the Storm Order Dagger.

The circle in the centre of the driver's light turned from holy-yellow to tempest-blue.

Lightseeker held her right hand over her driver's button.

"HENSHIN!"

She slammed her hand down on the button.

GO!!

The driver formed a pair of rings around her waist. They were stacked on top of each other and were made of pure-white light. The top ring rose up and the bottom ring dropped down, transforming Lightseeker back into the Initial Civilization.

TEMPEST!

A blast of watery lightning coated wind hit Lightseeker from behind.

Her mouth turned into a silver mouthguard that looked like a bird's beak.

Her chest hardened into a chestplate made from scales. They were colored bright-blue. It covered her chest, leaving the area between her shoulders and neck, as well as her stomach, exposed.

Lightseeker's left shoulder turned into a bright-blue diamond-shaped shoulder pauldron made of scales.

The inside of her left lower arm turned into bright-blue scales with what looked like two straps around the outside of it.

Her left shackle grew a bright-blue circle-shaped gem in the outside of it.

This is the Storm Translation.

REAPER!

The death-purple reaper appeared in front of Lightseeker and slashed through her, adding the Death Base to her transformation.

ROCK!

The rocks rose around Lightseeker's feet, adding the Earth Inscription to her.

SPIRIT!

Finally the soul-green human silhouette appeared over Lightseeker and dropped down through her, finishing her transformation by adding the Soul Rune to it.

A new weapon appeared in front of her. It was a storm-blue machine gun called the Tempest Rifle.

TRANSLATION IS NOW CONFIRMED!

Lightseeker hit her driver's button once.

PREHISTORIC TRANSLATION!

Lightseeker crossed her wrists and then threw her arms to the sides. Six beams of lightning shot forwards.

The Fly Drone Gurongi threw six bombs that the beams slammed into a exploded.

Lightseeker fired a beam of wind at her opponent that slashed its right arm off.

Lightseeker then punched forwards four times, firing four fists of water that shot through the air. They impacted the Fly Drone Gurongi and destroyed it.

Battle ended!

Suddenly, the Wolf Gurongi jumped onto a roof.

"Hey, get down here and fight!" Lightseeker shouted up.

The Gurongi fired its dagger.

Lightseeker dove into a building.

She watched as the Gurongi's attack sealed the door.

Lightseeker ran up a short flight of stairs and followed the hallway around to the right.

A door opened and a skelton came out of it.

"Get lost!" Lightseeker was not scared of it at all.

Suddenly, a blast exploded through the wall.

"Nuts!" Lightseeker rolled back, dodging it.

The corridor collapsed and Lightseeker continued on after going through a door right before the collapsed section.

Now she was at a T junction. To either side was a corridor with paintings of eyes hanging from the walls.

The right turn led to a deadend.

As did the left turning, but it had a mirror at the end of it.

"Better than nothing." Lightseeker walked towards the mirror.

Which then shattered as the Wolf Gurongi came streaking out from behind it.

Lightseeker took a step to the right and let the Gurongi go smashing through a wall that collapsed behind it.

"That's seven years of bad luck!" She quipped.

But the Gurongi had revealed another T junction that was behind the mirror. The opening was revealed when the mirror was shattered.

"Thanks!" Lightseeker ran through the opening.

"Woah!" Lightseeker was surprised. At the end of the left turning was a giant doll that had just lit up with electricity.

After shaking off her surprise, she looked to the right and saw another dead end.

With little other choice, she walked towards the doll and saw a staircase to its right.

She ran down the stairs and followed the hallway down to the left at the bottom.

In front of her was a room, the walls and floors were coated with golden gears. Opposite the door was another door with the word 'EXIT' above it in green.

"Exit, good." Lightseeker ran into the room.

Several of the gears moved to block the door.

"Not good." Lightseeker skidded to a halt.

The door behind her vanished.

A doll appeared from the wall and screamed at her.

"Whatever." Lightseeker was not impressed.

A Wolf Drone Gurongi burst from the ground.

Let the battle begin!

Lightseeker pushed her driver's button twice.

CLASSICAL TRANSLATION!

Lightseeker teleported forwards and flipped into a backflip, throwing the Wolf Drone Gurongi into the sky.

The Drone Gurongi came down with an overhead slash.

Lightseeker teleported so that she was behind the Drone Grongi and fired a purple beam into its back, throwing it forwards.

Lightseeker bent down and lept into the air. She teleported higher and kicked down, firing a purple barrage of beams that slammed into the Wolf Drone Gurongi, destroying it.

Battle ended!

With the battle over, the gears moved aside.

Lightseeker ran for the door, only to have to dodge several gears as they shot at her.

She got out of the building and had to jump back as the Gurongi's knife shot past her.

Before she could do anything, the Gurongi jumped over the rooftops.

"This way!" Honoka ran past her.

The whole place started to come down. Bits of the road were pulled into the sky and dropped back down.

"There's a rift up ahead!" Honoka called back.

"A what?!" Lightseeker shouted.

"It will take you back to the real world! We'll come back for the wolf later!" Honoka shouted back.

Suddenly, a knife shot past them and destroyed the building that they were running towards.

"I'm guessing the rift was in there?" Lightseeked skidded to a halt.

"Yep." Honoka nodded.

"Alright, you want to fight?" Carly turned to the Wolf Gurongi. "Let's fight."

Let the battle begin!

Next time!

To be continued!
