The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

Eve woke up the next morning with a stiff neck. Other than that, she felt pretty well rested. She was momentarily confused when she first opened her eyes and found herself on the living room couch instead of her bed. As she sat up the thick duvet slid down to her waist. A pale early morning light filtered through the shades.

Then last night finally came back to her. Eve scrunched her eyes and wiped a hand down her face with a grunt. She remembers everything. She got really trashed last night because Matt gave her a couple more drinks on top of the one, she had. Then feeling so lightheaded and a bit dizzy that Lina had to drive her home. Luckily Drew drove her car back for her and then left in Lina's SUV.

What really irked her though is what came after she got in the door. Eve recalls hearing Frieza talking to her when she got in. How she started acting all loopy around him and how she needed to sit down before she fell down and incidentally it meant plopping down on the couch next to him. They chatted about random topics and recalls calling him a tight ass. Then she flushed when she remembered telling him that he needed to get laid.

Now that she remembers that part, she's wondering what possessed her to say that to him. As in what the hell was she thinking. At least he didn't get insulted by the comment; she thinks. Though he must've thought she was a loose nutcase.

Still, what really got her kicking herself was when she remembers spilling her guts to him about her not so pleasant past. Disappointment ran through her. 'How? How could I blab out something like that of all things? And more importantly why did I think it was a good idea to share it with him of all people!?' Her mind screamed.

A part of her wanted to be pissed at Matt for providing the extra alcohol to her. But Eve knew she really had no one to blame but herself for getting shitfaced. After all it's not like he force fed her the drinks.

Eve folded the duvet and placed it back on the back end of the couch. Then she quietly made her way down the hall to her room. She changed out of her clothes from yesterday and pulled on some sweatpants and a tank top. Afterwards she left the room and stop in front of Frieza bedroom door. She's wondering if she should peak in and check to see if he's awake or leave him be.

Eventually she went with the former and slowly opened his door. Expecting to see him fast asleep, Eve was surprised when she noticed he was wide awake and sitting by one of the windows in the cushion chair. He had a book in his hand but looked up when he caught movement in his peripheral vision. Frieza looked up as the door opened.

"Hey, sorry I didn't mean to bug you. Just wanted to see if you were awake or not." Eve said as she stepped into the room.

"Been awake for quite some time now." He replied.

There was an awkward silence between the two with Eve still lingering by the entrance.

"How did you sleep? Though as comfortable as that couch is it really isn't all that suited for sleeping." Frieza added.

She lightly shrugs, "Not too bad surprisingly. Just woke up with a stiff neck. But that's about it."

More silenced ensued afterwards. This was turning out to be a pleasant conversation. Input the heavy sarcasm in that statement. Eve was at a loss for words at the moment though as it was. Mainly because a certain topic still weighed heavily on her mind. She looked everywhere but at him as her mouth opened and closed a couple times. Something he found rather amusing.

"About...about last night. Can we...just forget it happened?" She awkwardly says.

Frieza sighs and placed the book on the small side table next to the chair before turning his crimson gaze back to the young woman in front of him.

"Why? It's nothing to be ashamed about. It also seemed like something you really needed to get off your chest." He said.

Eve sighs while running a hand through her long brown locks.

"Still, it's not something one should just blab out in a drunken stupor. It's not how I wanted to explain such a thing to someone. I'm still not even sure I told you all about that. I still feel like I barely know you at times and yet I told you something that was extremely personal and touchy to me. I mean it took me a good couple years before I told my best friends about my past." She stated.

"And do you regret it?" He asks.

She was a bit taken aback by his question.

"What?" Eve says.

"I said, do you regret it?" He asked, more pointedly.

She so badly wanted to say, yes. But when Eve really thinks about it, for some reason she doesn't.

"No." Eve replies, barely above a whisper.

Frieza gives her a lopsided smirk.

"Will it make you feel any better if I told you about my past?" He asked.

She crosses her arms and gives him a scrutinizing look.

"Is it necessary? It's probably not all that much different from any serial killer's background. If I had to guess, you had a hellacious temper, and most likely tortured and killed animals. Bed wetting would complete the trifecta of severe psychopathy." Eve retorted.

He chuckled at her grossly misconstrued assumption.

"None of the above if you could believe it." Frieza replied.

She arches a brow, "Really? Enlighten me then."

Eve walks over and sits on the side of the bed facing him.

"Fair enough. I was born on a planet called Arcose. It for the most part was a rather bleak world with most of its terrain resembling your coldest and most frigid continents the Arctic and Antartica. Though it's not to say that it was like that all year round. We did have periods of warmer seasons as well. My race is known as Arcosians. But others tend to call my race Frost Demons or 'Icejin'.

My family was very successful and wealthy, and we lived in a palace. My father held a lot of control over our world's Galactic Trade and ran a successful and lucrative empire. He met my mother through an arranged marriage. Which was in fact arranged by himself. Just like he ran everything else, he treated his marriage like a business.

He never truly cared for her. If anything, he flaunted her around on his arm like a trophy. Her main goal was to produce strong heirs for him and be his right hand in his business. And while she did eventually give him two sons, mother refused to work with him.

You see, she was what's the phrase, the polar opposite of father. While he was a cold hearted and cruel man, she was softhearted and caring. In the end, that is what got her killed." Frieza said.

Eve thought she saw a brief glimmer of sadness and anger in his eyes when he mentioned his mother being killed. If she looked even harder, she would've saw him clenching his fists a little. She didn't say anything though and waited patiently for him to continue.

"She mainly spent most of her time keeping the palace organized and made sure the staff stayed on task. She also had the best tutors sent to the palace to tutor my brother Cooler and myself. And despite having the best education money could buy, I was rather disruptive when it came to my studies. And mother would get angry because she went through various tutors with us.

Mainly because I always played pranks and practical jokes on my teachers, and it drove them insane. Though it's not to say my brother didn't have his fair share of practical jokes either. He was rather picky when it came to them. Cooler would drive away many of the male tutors only to flirt with any younger cute female tutors that walked through our doors.

All in all, I was very mischievous in my youth. It was enough to keep both my parents on their toes and drive them mad. There were also plenty of times my brother got annoyed and angry with my actions. Though I think he just didn't like it when I drove away the tutors he openly liked to ogle.

That and there probably wasn't any area in the palace I haven't trashed or accidently destroyed." He said, with laughter in his voice.

"There were definitely some rooms I was prohibited from entering because at one point or another I did damage to them. One being the kitchen and the other father's room of fancy and expensive vehicles.

One evening he was hosting an event in the palace's banquet hall. He had his chefs put out a large buffet of various cuisines. We all sat around the head of the long table while his associates occupied the rest of the seats. Needless to say, when they all bit into their food, they got a lovely surprise. Food was being spat out left and right all down the table. To say father was embarrassed and mortified was a huge understatement of that evening.

Especially after he found out the reason why the food tasted horrible. It's because I replaced a good portion of the food with fake food made out of wax. I swear the top chefs who were standing off to the side of the table nearly soiled themselves over the matter. But father knew who was behind it all. It didn't help that I had a hard time hiding my laughter as I watched the scene play out from my seat.

My entire being must've been many different shades of black and blue by the time he was finished with me. Mother certainly wasn't happy with how he handled the situation. But then, she never did like it when father became physical and violent towards us if my brother or I did something to disappoint him or misbehave.

As for one of his coveted vehicles, well it hasn't run right since I took it out for a little joy ride out of curiosity one day. " He ended.

By the end of those tales, Eve was practically laughing her ass off. This is something she definitely did not expect of the notorious Evil Emperor. He basically told her the opposite of what she expected to hear. She always imagined him to be a well-behaved groomed palace brat. Instead, he tells her he was the biggest hellion growing up.

"You really were a demon child, weren't you?" She asked between laughs.

Frieza's grin widened, "That would be putting it lightly. Those are just a couple examples out of a much bigger picture and list of things I did. What can I say, palace life isn't all as luxurious as everyone makes it out to be. If anything, it was quite tedious and dull. Though I will admit, there were some jokes that did backfire and some I deeply regretted going through with."

"Like what? Don't expect me not to ask for an example." Eve said.

"Well, I know of at least one good one that has scarred me for life." He ends with a flinch.

Oh yes, that he remembers like it happened yesterday. It was certainly an image he wouldn't be able to get out of his head for a long while.

"One in particular took place when I was very young. Keep in mind that at the time I was very ignorant to what teens and adults like to do. My brother, who was a teen at the time got into a heated argument with me which eventually led into a fight. By the end of it we were both pretty beaten and battered. But despite being much younger and smaller than him, I still came out on top and won.

But just because I won, it didn't mean I was no longer angry with him. My father had a security system set up in the palace and there were cameras set up in the halls and some of the rooms in the palace. Each one was on a mount far up the wall near the ceilings. You could also easily take them off the mounts.

It was later that day after our squabble that I decided to take one of the security cameras off its mount in one of the halls. I then snuck into my brother's quarters and hid the camera up on a mantle near the center of his room. The angle ensured it captured a good portion of his bedroom. I wanted to see if he would do something embarrassing like maybe sleep with a stuffed toy or something.

But what I saw hours later on the camera's feed when I snuck into the security room was something completely opposite of that and unexpected.

I knew what his schedule was like for the rest of that day, and I knew it would be a while before he returned to his quarters. So, later that evening I quietly snuck into the security room where all the camera feeds were. I spotted the screen that showed my brother's room. The security guard that was in charge of watching everything was fast asleep in his chair.

Still, I played it safe and watched from behind a small stack of crates by the door. A few minutes later and right on time, my brother entered his room. I watched as he locked his door before he approached his bed. I eagerly waited to see what happened next, chuckling at the fact that Cooler had no idea that the camera was set up in his room.

Anyways, he laid down on top of his bed near the center. What happened next, I will never get out of my head for as long as I live. Cooler laid back and relaxed. A few moments later, his...privates emerged from its sheath. My eyes widened slightly in disgust then that look slowly morphed into confusion and horror when he started...stroking himself.

Being so young at the time, I couldn't imagine why in the world would he be doing that. I thought I was going to vomit when he wrapped his hand around it and started...pumping it. I went to cover my mouth and back up towards the exit, when I accidently bumped into the crates and knocked them over. The loud noise and the movement startled me and made me jump. And not just me, it woke the security guard with a start too.

He floundered about in his chair momentarily before gathering his bearings. He looked around bewildered wondering what that loud noise was when his eyes happened to land on that one screen. I think at first, he didn't know what he was seeing than it finally clicked. His mouth dropped to the floor with a gasp, and he ran over to that screen and started hitting various buttons trying to turn it off.

Instead, he accidentally hit the speaker button and not just any speaker button but the one that allows one to hear or speak into from anywhere in the palace. In other words, the main speaker. And soon all anyone could hear all around the palace grounds was my brother groaning and grunting. To me he sounded like he was in pain. But to everyone else who was not ignorant to the concept knew that wasn't the case.

And I didn't learn until after the fact and I was old enough to know that he was what you would say, 'rubbing one off'." Frieza stated.

Eve's mouth nearly hit the floor and she fell on the bed on her side laughing until she nearly pissed herself. Her laughter was contagious and soon Frieza himself couldn't help but laugh along with her.

"The best part was mother, and father put the blame on Cooler. That it was his idea of a sick joke. Oh, did they reem him out good that day for it. What was funny was that he was equally mortified and stunned that he couldn't even properly defend himself and claim that he didn't know and didn't do it. As for me, I couldn't look him straight in the eye afterwards for a long time after that." Frieza said, after his laughter died down.

"I can only imagine you probably needed therapy after witnessing that. I know if it were my brother, I would definitely need it. It was awkward as hell and bad enough when I walked into Drew's room one morning to wake him up, and I noticed he had a bad case of morning wood. We were only thirteen at the time when that occurred. This was before I even knew what that was. So, it definitely confused and horrified me. All the more embarrassing I told his mom and dad what I saw. His mom awkwardly coughed into her coffee to hide the awkwardness of the topic. While his dad flat out laughed and eventually explained to me what it was." Eve admitted.

Frieza got a good chuckle out of that.

"At least you got to witness an erection firsthand." He joked.

"Oh, shut up!" She said, before tossing a pillow at him. Frieza snickered and batted it away.

"And let's not forget the time you walked in on me while I was in the bathroom using the toilet. You caught a good long glimpse before turning around and rushing out." He teased.

Her face grew bright red and her eyes widened, causing him to laugh again.

"That was an accident!" She blurted out.

Frieza laughed even more because it left her all flustered.

Eve chucked the other pillow at him. This time she nailed him square in the face making him sputter. Even when it did slide down and off his face onto his lap, he still had a humorous grin on his face. She just rolled her eyes and shook her head, before standing up.

"On that note, I'm going to go make breakfast now." She said.

She then headed for the exit. Eve stopped short and looked back over her shoulder at Frieza.

"Though I can't promise I won't put half an erect banana on top of your pancakes to refresh that lovely little memory for you." Eve quipped.

"My memory or yours?" He retorts with a smirk.

Eve just flips him the bird and walks out without another word. Frieza shakes his head, but the smirk never leaves his face. He grabs his crutches that are leaning against the side of his chair and carefully stands up. Then he uses his tail to grab his book before he hobbles out of his bedroom and heads for the living room.

Both of them had a fun morning continuing telling stories to make each other laugh. It's as if they both had smiles permanently etched onto their faces that day. Most of all they feel as if they really learned a lot about each other these last couple days as they swapped stories about their lives. Especially now that Eve didn't hide her past from him anymore. And he knows she fully appreciated that he shared his past with her in return and that he did it so she'd know more about him as a person.

I couldn't resist adding some humor to Frieza's Backstory. Yes, he may be a cold and brutal tyrant. But I still can't help but think he could've easily been very mischievous in his youth as a small child. In a way, it wouldn't be all that surprising if he was. Him sharing his past with her also helps Eve see that there is more to him that meets the eye, and, in many ways, he was capable of being carefree and playful just like everyone else. Until Next Time ;)
