The next chapter is up! Enjoy :)

The living room was filled with awkward silence for a good minute or two. Drew, Lina, and Matt sat on the couch while Frieza took up one of the recliners off to the side. Eve sat in the other recliner. She was so nervous she couldn't stop fiddling with pieces of her hair. It didn't help either that all eyes were on her. She bit her lip and finally spoke.

"I guess, it's probably best to start from the beginning." She says.

"Yeah, that be a good start." Drew replied.

Eve knew he wasn't happy with her. Which is understandable. Drew is her brother. He became so when his parents adopted her into the family when they took her off the streets at age eight. They became a family of four and she became their daughter. And ever since they were little, they never had any secrets between them. Both of them always knew they could talk to each other about anything, and they did.

"I'm really sorry, Drew. I...I didn't mean to keep this from you of all people. But I also had a good reason." Eve tried to explain.

"Just tell me, Eve. How long have you had him here and didn't say anything to me?" Drew asked, cutting her off.

She fidgeted in her seat.

"Since early December. The night of the sixth to be exact." Eve admitted.

Their eyes widened in surprise.

"You mean to say you had the notorious Galactic Emperor living here with you under your roof for three months!?" Matt blurted out.

"And just how do you know of me again, human?" Frieza inquired while eying the young man on the couch closest to him.

Matt opened his mouth to talk. But again, Drew cut into the conversation again.

"Forget that for a moment. Eve, are you fucking kidding me right now? Three goddamn months with this guy? Just what were you thinking having someone like him in your home and for that long?" Drew snapped.

She sighs, "He was injured and needed help. I couldn't just leave him out in the open for obvious reasons. Not when I know anyone else would've called the F.B.I and had him carted off to Area 51."

"Eve, I think they have more to fear from him than vice versa. If they did take him there, there wouldn't be an Area 51 left. Probably just some huge ass crater where it use to be." Matt implied.

Of course, he and the rest of them still had no idea that Frieza was powerless here. And she's wondering if it's a good idea letting them in on that. Because if she were to tell them, what's to stop any of them from calling someone and letting them know of his presence here? The tyrant would be a sitting duck and she doubts he'd be able to get out of a heavily guarded facility without his super strength, speed, and powers.

Not only that, but she wouldn't be able to break him out either. No one would be able to. The only ones who could were the ones that teleported them here to her reality. And even then, she's wondering if they would intervene. This could be a way for them to get rid of him altogether. So many what ifs floating around in her mind. It certainly didn't make her feel any less nervous.

"What do you mean Matt? He has superpowers or something?" Lina asks.

Frieza started getting annoyed that they were talking about him like he wasn't even here; sitting not a few feet away from them.

"You all do realize that I'm still sitting right here. And I'm perfectly capable of answering these questions." He quipped.

"Well then, do you?" Drew asked.

"I do. I was born with an abnormally high power level. One of the highest my Universe has ever witnessed." Frieza replied.

None of them really liked that answer. They didn't like the fact at how dangerous this being was. Nor could they fathom what he was capable of. The only one who knew just how powerful he was is Matt. Mainly because he watched the show religiously as a kid and currently has been watching the reboot Dragon Ball Super plus the latest movies that came out around the same time as the new series. Hell, he has quite a few Blu-ray discs on the series and the newest movies back at home.

It's also because of what he knows of Frieza is why he's worried for his friend. Though he can't understand how she's still ok. Eve didn't look to be injured in any way and she was still alive after all these months. He's almost wondering why the ruthless tyrant didn't end her life after all this time. But then, Matt knew Frieza was very manipulative and always had his motives and reasons behind everything he does. And that is just as bad as if he were to eventually hurt or kill his friend.

"If that is the case, then why are you here with Eve? Surely if you're that powerful than your more than capable of looking after yourself while here. So, why do you choose to stay here in her home?" Drew questions him.

The questions were getting harder as they went along. And Eve is unsure of how to answer that one. She hated that she had to lie to them, especially Drew. But she still also felt obligated to protect Frieza. She had to think of something solid and quick and can only hope Drew doesn't catch her in a lie.

"Because the last thing we want is for him to cause a massive global panic. It's better he remains here unseen because of that." Eve exclaims.

"So, in the meantime you think it better that he remains here as a threat to you is what you're saying?" Lina asks, stunned.

"But I'm not a threat to her. She has aided me after all. And because of her help, I'm on the mend and much better now than I was months ago." Frieza said.

Matt arches a brow, "And how did you get injured? All things considered; it takes a hell of a lot to hurt someone like you. I bet if someone were to drop an H-Bomb on your ass you'd just shrug it off like nothing. You get in another fight with Goku and Vegeta or something?"

Shit, the two of them can't let them know he was struck by a measly car. They may as well keep adding to their story. Frieza didn't like it, but he may have to swallow his pride and tell them that that's what indeed happened. How ironic, he almost didn't know what was more embarrassing. Getting hit by a car and becoming injured or stating he got into another fight with those monkeys and lost yet again. With his safety on the line though, he will have to swallow his pride just this once.

"Yes, I did. And quite a fight it was. It was a very close one. Nearly won this one. Had they not got the drop on me again." Frieza spat out.

On the inside he cringed and glowered at the thought of it. Even Eve could tell that spewing all this garbage out wanted to make him hurl. She just hopes he can continue to keep it together.

"Still, it doesn't explain how you ended up here. Considering you don't exist in this reality." Matt pointed out.

Well, it was now or never. She has to tell them.

"It...may be hard for you all to swallow but I actually first found myself in his reality before he ever came here. The real mystery is we are still unsure of how it happened. Though Frieza seems thoroughly convinced that a couple divine deities may have been involved. It's the only explanation to how it was possible." Eve confessed.

She then went on and told them all from the beginning in detail on what happened. Eve started from the time she left the Marina that day to the accident. As soon as she mentioned accident, she was bombarded with a round of 'Oh my god! Are you ok!?' from everyone at once. Of course, she quickly told them that she was fine and that was where everything became weird.

It was a bit hard describing to them that there was a flash of bright light right before the cars collided and that when the light died down, she found herself in another strange and unfamiliar land. Eve explained how everything appeared different there, kind of cartoon like. And how she was found by Goku and Vegeta. To her explaining to the saiyans that she had no idea where she was or how she got there.

Then afterwards they took her back to Vegeta and Bulma's Home where they introduced her to everyone else. Eve shared with them that she was there for months in their reality living under Vegeta's roof out of one of their many guestrooms. And this is where she had to twist the story.

Instead of telling them she ended getting caught and brought to his ship. Eve told them that he came to Earth with intentions of fighting Goku and Vegeta again. It was a little hard to try and figure a way to tell them how she got mixed in during this fight. Frieza was able to help her out though and fill in some of the proverbial blanks.

How she happened to be out in the woods that day with Goku and Vegeta. That they were out there trying to find more clues as to how she got there when Frieza invaded. To a supposed intense fight between him and the saiyans. And how he fell to the ground badly battered. But before he made impact with the ground not far from where Eve was standing and watching the fight that they were both blinded by another bright flash of light.

Then next thing either one of them knew, the pair found themselves in the middle of a snow-covered road conveniently not far from her house in the middle of the night. It was very shocking for the both of them because it happened so quickly and randomly out of the blue. Neither of them expected to just suddenly be dropped back into her reality. Even more confusing when she found out that barely any time passed here while in Frieza's reality some months had passed.

Normally, her brother and friends would've called her on bullshit for such a story. But the proof was sitting there in front of them on one of the recliners.

"I must say, Eve I'm kind of jealous that you got to travel to the DBZ Universe. It sounds like it was just as awesome in person if not more so than the actual show itself. I definitely wouldn't mind traveling there myself to meet the Z-Fighters and their families." Matt said, thoroughly impressed.

Of course, Drew and Lina just looked at him like he was crazy for even suggesting something like that.

"Please, you'd probably scare them by fangirling all over them if you went." Lina quipped.

Matt snorts, "Don't act like you wouldn't feel the same if you magically found yourself in the world of Harry Potter, Lina. Considering your obsession with both the book series and the movies."

Her eyes widen and cheeks flush at being called out for that.

"Still, it probably would've been a hell of a lot less dangerous than this DBR Universe you were going on about. And were getting off the subject here. And forgetting about the bigger problem at hand." She says.

"It's DBZ. And your right. We are, perhaps now it's time I clue you in a little more about that reality, and how I know about it and him." Matt says, while gesturing to Frieza.

He began explaining everything he could about Dragon Ball Z and Super. Matt started at the very beginning and gradually went up it's timeline in order. He even suggested that Eve go to the 'On Demand' setting on her DVR and look up the series and watch some of it.

She didn't seem all that enthused on doing so though. Since she felt like she already knew what to expect after being stuck there for several months. Frieza on the other hand was quite curious about this show and may look into it himself. He didn't find it all too surprising when Matt informed them that the show mainly revolved around Goku and his life.

'Figures, even in this reality Goku seems to be quite the glory hog.' Frieza thought.

Still, even when it's all said and done it didn't make Drew and Lina worry any less for Eve. If anything after learning more about the tyrant, it made them worry even more for her life and safety. Even so, what could they possibly do about it. If Frieza is that powerful then no one is safe and no one here can stop him. Least of all the government with their high-tech weapons. Which most likely wouldn't even put a scratch on the Galactic Emperor who could decimate worlds without batting an eye.

This meant he could easily do the same to the Earth. No army in the world could stop a being whose powerful enough to do that. And they didn't have strong inhumane warriors like Goku, Vegeta, or the rest of the Z-Fighters around to protect them. So, that meant they were royally fucked if Frieza were to decide to wipe them out.

"So, what's the plan then? He still can't clearly stay here forever. There has to be a way to send him back to his world or dimension. Whatever you want to call it." Drew stated.

"That all depends. When they decide when they want to bring me back." Frieza answered.

"Though we're still not a hundred percent sure they are the ones involved with our mysterious teleportation here." Eve added.

The tyrant opened his mouth to debate with her. But Matt cut him off before he could speak.

"Who are you guys talking about? You still never mentioned who it was that possibly brought you here." Matt said.

"Frieza has a strong suspicion that Whis and Lord Beerus may have had something to do with that. Both bringing me there from the start and then bringing us back here again. But I spoke with them on several occasions and even asked them a few times how they think I ended up there. Whis said that sometimes people from alternate dimensions have wound up in their Universe over the last few millennia. He went as far as to mention that I wasn't the first.

He does believe that some kind of divine intervention was involved for each of these individuals. And that they were brought there for a reason. That they had some kind of purpose to fulfill there. But that's where it all ends. He and Lord Beerus said they were at a lost for who possibly intervened for me.

None of it makes sense even more as to why they would send me back to my reality. Especially, if I were supposedly chosen for some kind of important purpose. Whoever is involved, I can only hope that they can find a way to teleport Frieza back. Because if one thing's for certain he doesn't belong here at all." Eve stated.

Though as she mentioned that last remark it made her heart hurt, because she knew no matter the outcome, she will never see him again. A painful reminded that they were two different beings from two different realities. While at the same time, Eve was a bit oblivious to the fact that this fact hurts Frieza just as deeply.

"I still say Beerus and Whis lied to you, Eve. It wouldn't be a first time they lied to someone. Especially when it came to talks of the Divine. The fact that you were teleported there and back here already shows this whole thing is connected to you. And me on some level since I was brought back here with you. It makes me think this whole thing may in fact have something to do with both of us. Though I can't fathom what that could possibly be or why they would entertain such an idea. But then those two were always rather flippant and unpredictable in their behavior. The Destroyer especially." Frieza pointed out.

"If what you do say is true. Then maybe this is something they may possibly want us to figure out for ourselves." Eve replied.

"And for all we know, they have been watching us this whole time. It's no secret that Whis can use his staff to see anywhere he wants. And not just our Universe but most likely other dimensions as well." He added.

"Still, say your assumption is correct; Why Eve?" Drew asks.

"We don't know Drew. It's probably only a question Lord Beerus and Whis could answer. Assuming it really is them behind all of this. For now, all we can do is sit tight. And hope they will be able to bring him home soon. In the meantime, I need all of you to do one thing for me." Eve says.

"Which is?" Drew asks, though he's already unsure of where this is going.

"I need you guys to keep this whole thing a secret. Please, don't mention to anyone that Frieza is here. It will only cause more problems and can quickly turn to chaos because then we could have a panic on our hands. So please, promise me none of you will say anything." Eve pleads.

The three of them appeared rather reluctant to agree to her request. But they also saw her point. Announcing his presence here could cause for a massive public panic. It's something they didn't really want to be responsible for. On the other hand, they didn't want to help aid this apparent monster either. This was certainly case where their hands were tied; literally speaking. In the end, there really wasn't much of a choice for any of them.

"Ok, Eve. We're willing to do just that. Though I can't say any of us are happy about this. It could spell trouble for all of us in the end. I honestly hope that he can go back and very soon. For everyone's sake. I still certainly don't like the fact that he's staying here with you. But I understand it's because you don't want to cause a panic." Drew informed her.

Eve nods, "Thanks, Drew. Just bear with me is all I ask. From all of you."

The rest of the time spent there was still rather awkward to say the least. No one was still all that comfortable around the tyrant. Even more so after Matt was finished talking about him to everyone. It was quite shocking how pinpoint accurate this show seems to be about him. It's just one of the reasons why he wanted to watch it. If not to see how they really portray him. Frieza wouldn't be all that surprised if they were completely off about some of his aspects.

Instead of staying a couple days like they usually would, Drew, Lina, and Matt ended up leaving a little later that afternoon. Though Drew was way more reluctant to do so. Even going as far as to tell Eve he will stay if not to keep an eye on her. He knows he wouldn't stand a chance against Frieza. But that didn't stop him from wanting to protect his sister and watch over her.

It was hard convincing him, but Eve eventually talked him down from staying. She knew it would only lead to more tension within the house, something that none of them needed right now. She merely just had to remind him that it's been three months and she's still breathing. And still convinced that Frieza wouldn't hurt her.

What finally made Drew leave was that Eve promised to call him once a day if it made him feel better. He told her he will keep her to that, before he finally left along with the others.

Before they got into their cars though the three of them couldn't help but put their own two sense in about the matter.

"I still don't think this is a good idea. I know we promised her. But I think maybe we should call someone. I'm still very scared for her safety and don't trust that guy one bit." Lina said.

"It won't do any good though if we do tell someone from the government. They wouldn't be able to handle him. No one here can." Matt said, grimly.

"But he's still injured and not at one-hundred percent. Surely, they would be able to take him out while he's still wounded. We all saw that he was still wearing a makeshift brace around his calf. He can't fight with a mending leg." Lina replied.

Matt shakes his head, "It wouldn't make a difference to him. Trust me. This guy was still able to hold his own in a fight in much worse conditions. He could be beaten all to hell and it wouldn't slow him down all that much."

He's speaking from all the time he watched every fight between him and Goku. Even when his energy was waning, Frieza still fought like hell to the bitter end each time.

They both turned to Drew who has yet to speak his own thoughts about it.

"Well, what do you think, Drew?" Lina asked.

He closes his eyes and sighs, "We can't say anything to anyone."

Lina was quite shocked at his reply. She would've thought out of everyone here that he would want Frieza gone. The tyrant was sharing the same space as his sister after all.

"What? Why? Your sister's life will always be on the line while he's there with her." Lina blurts out.

Drew looked at them, mouth set in a straight line.

"You guys don't get it. If the government found out about this, what do you think will happen? More importantly what do you think they will do to Eve? I doubt they will let her slide. Especially, since she was the one harboring a dangerous extraterrestrial being to begin with. I can tell you right now, they won't take kindly to a civilian who has been hiding something like that from them.

The way I see it, the government would be just as much a threat to her as this guy. If Frieza doesn't end up killing her, what makes you think the government won't have a problem making her disappear for her involvement with him? It's a double-edged sword here guys. Unfortunately, our safest bet that these deities come and collect his ass. The sooner the better." He said.

Both Lina and Matt knew he just made a huge point. It's true, who knows what the government may do with Eve. They all knew the government will go to great lengths when it came to national security and government secrets. And because of this they certainly wouldn't have a problem making one woman disappear without a trace. And not just her, but everyone else who was involved.

"Ok, we see your point. I'm sorry I even mentioned it. Your right, the government could be just as big a threat to Eve's life of they find out. And the last thing we want is to put her in danger that way." Lina admitted.

"Agreed, we won't say a word. To Anyone." Matt added.

With that settled, they spoke of it no more, and they all got into their cars and left.

Eve carefully watched from the window and only pulled away when they all finally left. She turned around and dropped down onto the couch with an audible sigh and pressed her fingers to her temples. She felt the spot beside her dip as Frieza sat down. He placed a hand on her shoulder and gently grasped it.

She looked up and turned her gaze to him. He could tell this whole ordeal put her under a lot of stress.

"I'm sorry. I know this is not the way you would want your friends to find this out. But at least it's behind us now. And they did give you their word that they wouldn't say anything." Frieza assured her.

"Yeah, but who knows what they were talking about out there afterwards. This is not an easy secret for them to keep. This is serious." Eve replied.

He shook his head, "Something tells me they will keep it. Don't forget, I may have lost my ki. But my sharpened senses are still there. I could hear and pick up the conversation they had outside."

It's true, he heard every word. And what Drew said, made Frieza very concerned for Eve's safety. He's not ignorant when it comes to society. It's quite common on many planets that their world leaders have no qualms with silencing others if they deem them a threat to their cause or secrets. By her having him here, Eve very well be deemed a threat to the government along with him. And the last thing he wanted was to be the cause of her demise.

He may go as far as to say it may be a good idea if he did leave her. Sure, he knew he'd be compromising his safety and life. But it would mean Eve would be left alone and safe.

"Maybe I should leave, Eve. I'm not worth jeopardizing your life and safety. If I do leave, at least your people will leave you alone and won't bother pursuing you." Frieza said.

Eve was taken aback by his statement and quickly shook her head.

"No, you go out there and that's it for you. They will capture you and...they will kill you." She replied.

He looked ahead with a bittersweet smile on his face.

"And I deserve no less. Many will testify to that." Frieza said, before turning his gaze back to her.

"But you, you don't deserve that. You're a genuinely good person, Eve. You deserve so much more than this." He added.

"Your wrong in saying your own life has no worth. Everyone's life does. I do this because it's my choice and I want to. But don't you dare go throwing your life away like this. We will find a way. Just please...don't leave." She said, her voice cracking a bit.

Frieza doesn't say anything at first. Just leans back into the couch and diverts his gaze upwards.

"We don't know if we will figure something out before it's too late. This is something that is bound to get out sooner or later. I'm sure even you realized that by now." He said.

Eve leans back and into his side.

"There has got to be an explanation for all of this. I refuse to believe that it will come to that, before this situation can be resolved. And if Lord Beerus and Whis are involved and watching, I definitely don't believe they will let it get that far. I know it's getting harder each day. But we have to remain positive." She states.

Frieza's response was to slowly wrap his arm around her shoulders and pull her in closer to him. Eve responded back by lightly wrapping her arm around his lower front and resting her cheek against his shoulder.

'...Even though I'm the sacrifice,

You won't try for me not now.

Though I'd die to know you love me,

I'm all alone.

Isn't someone Missing me?

Please, please forgive me,

But I won't be home again.

I know what you do to yourself.

I breathe deep and cry out.

Isn't something Missing?

Isn't someone Missing me?

Even though I'm the sacrifice,

You won't try for me not now.

Though I'd die to know you love me.

I'm all alone.

Isn't someone Missing me?

And if I bleed, I'll bleed.

Knowing you don't care.

And if I sleep, just to dream of you.

And wake without you there.

Isn't something Missing?

Isn't something?

Even though I'm the sacrifice,

You won't try for me not now.

Though I'd die to know you love me,

I'm all alone.

Isn't something Missing?

Isn't someone Missing me?

Until Next Time ;)
