The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

When the light cleared the five of them found themselves at what appeared to be a deserted lot. It was quite late at night, so it was pitch dark out and no one was really around. Eve looked around scoping the area. Goku and Vegeta did the same. While Lord Beerus and Whis just casually stood there without a care in the world.

She turned her attention back to them, feeling a little unnerved that they were out in the open and exposed like that. Sure, she and the saiyans look like ordinary humans. But the Destroyer and his Attendant stood out like a sore thumb.

"Well, this is your stop. We wish you the best of luck. And we will be watching. And as we stated earlier if you two find yourself in any trouble, we will come." Whis told them.

"Thanks, before you go though, I must ask. How come you two still have powers? While the others here don't?" Eve asks.

It's something that she's been meaning to ask when they first came.

"Because we are of the Divine. We are infinite and have no limitations. We can transverse through time, space, and other dimensions without repercussions." Whis replied.

Lord Beerus just yawned out of boredom.

"If that is all, we will be going. I'm quite famished and want to eat." He says, in a bored tone.

Whis rolls his eyes.

"Honestly. All right we will take our leave now. Again, good luck everyone." Whis said.

He then tapped his staff on the ground and the two disappeared in a bright flash of light. The three remaining people could only hope no one saw that. Especially someone at the nearby base.

Who are they kidding? Someone was bound to have seen that. There were always people out watching guard and keeping surveillance.

"Maybe we should get moving. I have no doubt someone from the base hadn't seen that bright flash of light." Eve said.

Goku turned his attention to the base in the distance. Before turning back to Eve.

"Uhh, I don't see how. We're still pretty far from there. And there is a lot of trees surrounding us." He replied.

"Doesn't matter if trees are concealing us. Bases always have guards keeping watch 24/7. That means scanning the base's surroundings and general area. If someone spots something unusual that they can't explain they may feel obligated to send someone out to investigate." Vegeta added.

No sooner did the words leave his mouth. The three of them heard a low rumbling in the distance and recognized it to be vehicles. They left the lot and started heading for the tree line. She had a vague idea on how to get there. He showed them some areas open to the public. Her cousin, Devin who is a marine and is stationed at the base told her and Drew a little about it when he was on leave.

Devin told described to them the area surrounding the base itself. He also told them it's quite guarded. There were some areas that allowed the public to view and observed. Other areas were way more restricted. Some of which he didn't have clearance for. And most likely one of those restricted areas held Frieza. It will be challenging getting into these places.

And they hope that what they had planned would work.

They noticed the vehicles or more like one vehicle came into view. They drove into the lot and came to a stop. Then what appeared to be three marines came out of the Humvee. And proceeded to look around with flashlights. Eve, Goku, and Vegeta stayed hidden behind some trees watching. Waiting for the marines to move in closer.

She already knew what was about to happen and wasn't looking forward with what Goku and Vegeta were about to do. Goku assured her that no one was going to get killed.

Meanwhile with Frieza...

The tyrant sighs in frustration. Just how long did they plan on keeping him detained in this room? They told him why, but of course he didn't believe a word that came out of their mouths Frieza just hopes they will leave Eve alone as he requested.

Frieza also recalls when he said her name, one of the young men guarding the exit gave him a cursory glance for a few moments. Before turning his attention ahead again. The tyrant would switch his gaze back and forth between the ones addressing him and the soldiers standing at attention by the door. Mainly the one who would give him sideways glances when he thought Frieza wasn't looking.

His keen eyes went over what appeared to be a name embroidered into the breast pocket on the right of his uniform. His interest peaked when he saw a very familiar last name with another letter in front of it. 'D. Maggio'

The tyrant does recall Eve telling him about her cousin who worked at one of these military bases. Stating he was something called a Marine. Which she explained it was another type or branch of soldiers. She said he was part of some branch called the Coast Guard. Though he's having a hard time remembering what the name of the Station was when she told him.

They also kept a damn bag over his head the entire time, never taking it off until they brought him to this room. Which he learned was some sort of interrogation room. Frieza still had on his ridiculous getup and was itching to take it off. Though he's concerned the appearance of the rest of him may make them all even more uneasy. There was certainly a lot of staring while they chatted him up for the better part of the last several hours.

The two men at the table must've asked him every question known to man. Most of which was who he was, where he was from, and where was his ship? Of course, the last bit about his ship was asked more times than he can count. Because they didn't really believe him when he told them he didn't come in a ship and there wasn't one here.

Eventually he told them he had been teleported here. When they asked by who, Frieza told them he was unsure of who it was, and it was an accident. He wasn't sure when was the last time he held a conversation this long with someone and was truthful about it. What was the harm? There was no way these airheads were even close to finding a way to his reality. And even if they somehow did, what could they possibly do about it? It was quite clear the people of his reality were way more advanced than the people from this reality.

He's also pretty sure Earthlings from his Universe were more advanced than these guys. So, if anyone from here went there looking for trouble, they'd get overwhelmed rather quickly and efficiently. Especially, by the other alien races and deities of the DBZ Universe.

And the more he talked about it and described it the more intrigued the one soldier at the door became. The young marine had a pretty good poker face going on for the other humans in the room, most of the time. But Frieza was good at reading facial cues from others, no matter how hard they tried to conceal how they were feeling at that moment.

And like that young police officer back at the Nantucket Precinct, Frieza thought he saw a flash of recognition in the young Marine's eyes when the tyrant mentioned his name and told him he was from another reality altogether. The tyrant sarcastically thought how many of these people actually seen that pathetic excuse of a show that he feels portrayed him so badly.

Frieza didn't know what was worse, the fact that they portrayed him as they did on this show or the fact his curiosity got the better of him and he watch a little of it. He barely made it through one episode before he turned it off. Eve noticed the sour look on his face as she as she came home that day. And when she asked what was wrong, he eventually told her he saw parts of an episode about his reality.

Eve laughed a little when he described how horrible and inaccurate it truly was. She laughed harder when Frieza said it was an abomination that shouldn't be shown on the t.v. He appeared dead serious as he said it and that's what made her bust out laughing. Something he wasn't all that amused about. So, he picked up one of the couch pillows and threw it at her for it.

A small smile appeared on his face as he ran through the memory in his mind. In the end, Eve's laughter was rather contagious, and he ended laughing too. Frieza signs and looks up to the ceiling.

'I really do hope she is alright and that they leave her be.' He thought.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the heavy metal door open. Frieza turned his gaze to the source. Low and behold the same young Marine who was staring at him on and off earlier came in. And in his hands, he carried what appeared to be a tray of food. He walked up to the metal table and placed the tray down on it.

Again, he gave him a curious look. Frieza stared back analyzing him. He cleared his throat before speaking.

"By any chance is your name..." His mind drew a slight blank trying to remember Eve's cousin's name.

"Is it...Devron?" Frieza asks.

The young man was taken aback and arched a brow.

"It's Devin, Sir. But you may address me as Corp. Maggio." He replied.

"So, you are Eve's cousin then. She told me of you." Frieza said.

Devin was quite shocked at hearing this. When this being mentioned of someone named Eve, it did pique his curiosity. But he just thought it was coincidence because his cousin was not the only one with that name in Nantucket. It's a fairly large town so it's likely there are many girls with that same name. That's why he didn't think to look too much into it.

His superiors did mention there was a recording of this alien being that was sent to them. And one of them mentioned a young human woman was in the video as well. A couple of them made jokes about it because one mentioned the video showed the pair in a compromising position. But Devin himself never got a chance to observe the footage so he wouldn't know it was his cousin in the recording with the being standing before him now.

Devin balled his fists in anger thinking about this guy touching his cousin like that.

"What were you doing with her? They said that in the recording of you someone sent from the Oceanic Institute showed you getting physical with her in an inappropriate manner. Just what in the hell did you do?" Devin snapped.

Frieza crossed his arms behind his back.

"I didn't hurt her if that is what you're thinking. Nor would I ever do so." The tyrant told him.

The young marine snorted in disdain.

"You'll forgive me if I don't believe you. If you are who you say you are, then I find it unlikely you didn't do something to hurt her." He fired back.

Frieza pinches the bridge of his nose in annoyance.

"Honestly, is there no one in this reality that didn't see that pathetic rendition of my Universe and the beings that inhabit it? It was without a doubt grossly misconstrued." He quipped.

"So, what? You're saying that you're not a notorious Galactic Warlord? That you don't blow up planets for kicks?" Devin said, sarcastically.

"No, those parts were about the only things that were fairly accurate. But I've obviously haven't done any of those things since I been here. How else could you explain why you lot are all still here?" Frieza retorted back.

"Because you're a very manipulative and calculating bastard. You're probably just buying time before you do harm to this world." He said.

The tyrant rolled his eyes.

"You really have me all figured out, don't you?" Frieza replies.

Devin knows he should go and tell his superiors of the danger they were all in once he learned his suspicions were confirmed about this individual. But what can they all really do? Even if he informed his superiors about Frieza it doesn't change the fact that they are all in danger and don't stand a chance against him.

Despite the fact that Frieza told his people a lot of things these last several hours, the tyrant still left out the fact that he was an Intergalactic Warlord. Still, when it all came down to it, why did he end up turning himself in to them in the first place? None of that makes any sense. But then no one really knows the inner workings of this pint size maniac.

"Why did you turn yourself in? That doesn't make any sense. At least for someone as powerful as you." Devin inquired.

Of course, he was unaware that Frieza lost his strength and ki when he came here. Something else he kept from everyone here during the interrogation.

"Were you not paying attention earlier? I thought I made it relatively clear why I did it." Frieza stated.

"No, I heard you. And it sounds like a load of shit to me. Considering you view us as mere insects." The young marine snapped back in contempt.

Frieza shrugs his shoulders.

"What can I say, your cousin has an effect on others. I don't necessarily care if you don't believe me. But I don't want to put her in harm's way by involving her with your government. I hear things don't end very well for those who are involved with alien beings. And I can assure you, that if they don't abide by my request to leave her be, then there will be hell to pay." He said.

Devin inwardly cringed, because something told him Frieza would make good on his threat. Why not? He always did in the past and the young marine knew it. But he also understood what the tyrant meant. It's true, the government didn't like knowing there were civilians out there that had aliens around them and kept it a secret. Of course, none of the officials ever mentioned anything about what happens to those who do. Still, he had a general idea though. After all, not all secrets were airtight when it comes to the F.B.I or C.I.A.

There was silence for several more moments before one of them finally spoke up again.

"I believe you. And it behooves me to say that you are right about your assumption. And even I'm unsure if my superiors will leave her alone and it makes me worry for her safety. Hell, it makes me worry for all my family's safety." Devin admitted.

"What would you say the odds are they will pursue her?" Frieza asks, hesitance in his voice.

Devin sighs, "I don't know. He says, barely above a whisper.

Back with Eve, Goku, and Vegeta...

"Shit! You sure you guys didn't lay into them too much!?" Eve hissed as she eyed the now unconscious marines.

"Nah, they will be pretty sore when they wake up. But that's about it." Goku says, while turning one of them over.

"Let's stop stalling and start getting dressed." Vegeta snapped impatiently.

He was still pretty pissed that they even had to bother doing this. The saiyan prince still thought Frieza had what was coming to him and would much rather leave him to rot than help break him out. But Lord Beerus and Whis twisted his arm. And he also got thoroughly chewed out by Eve when he suggested otherwise.

Goku didn't take his side on the matter either. So, Vegeta was greatly outnumbered here. And on top of that he was powerless so there wasn't much he couldn't do on the matter either. So, he reluctantly agreed to assist them.

Now, here they were. Goku and Vegeta surprised the marines when they came closer to the tree line and got the jump on them. Despite not having their inhuman strength and power, the soldiers were still no match for the highly skilled warriors who have trained in the art of martial arts their whole lives. It was quick and they were all down for the count.

They started pulling the uniforms off their prone forms. So, that the three of them can dress in them and hopefully pass themselves off. At least long enough to get through the gates and figure out where Frieza was being contained.

"Well, let's get it over with then." Eve mumbled under her breath.

"That's the spirit. Let's do this." Goku said.

At the same time, neither of them could imagine what they were truly getting themselves into.

Until Next Time ;)
