The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

Eve and Frieza have been living together with their infant daughter in a capsule home on the outskirts of South City for nearly three months now. Within that time, they found their rhythm and had Leah on a good solid schedule. Both continued enjoying their time as parents. Leah was the center of their Universe.

They haven't seen or been able to speak with Lord Beerus and Whis for the last few months since before Frieza's return. And Eve is anxious to talk with them an ask if it was safe for her to at least go and visit her family and friends. She knew a long time ago that she will never be able to live freely in her reality anymore. Especially since Frieza and Leah would be in constant danger if they did.

There was also the issue about if the government might still be looking for her since they knew she was present at the Coast Guard Base and mysteriously disappeared with Frieza. Her cousin Devin informed her from the start that there were CCTV Cameras all over the place. Especially with lab compound her, Goku, and Vegeta entered to free the former tyrant.

But it's been over a year now since then. Surely things have settled down within that time. And she figures a visit wouldn't be too risky for them. All Whis would have to do is teleport them to her family's home. It would be the safest option. And at three months old, Leah can travel with them.

It seemed like a solid idea that she worked out with Frieza. Now all they had to do was wait for the two deities to make another stop on Earth. Bulma knows that she really wants to talk with them. And because of this, the Capsule Corp Heiress promised that she would let Eve know right away when they were stopping by again.

The women both found some amusement in the fact that Eve wasn't the only one who was getting a little impatient waiting for the Destroyer and his Attendant. Goku and Vegeta were getting antsy waiting for them to come because they want to go back with them to Lord Beerus's World for another intense round of training. Bulma was also getting increasingly annoyed because Goku won't stop asking her if they were coming yet.

Eve chuckled at that, because she knew how persistent the cheery saiyan could be when he sets his mind to something. And if there is one thing he can never pass up: it's training. Vegeta can be the same at times. Apparently, the saiyan prince is still determined to stay ahead in his training when it came to Frieza. It was challenging enough to train to try and become stronger than Goku. But adding the former tyrant to the mix just made Vegeta want to double up on his training even more.

And as much as Frieza claimed it didn't bother him, Eve knew it irked him a little. She knew he didn't want to get too left behind in his training and wanted to keep the power gap between the three of them close and not wedging further apart. Plus, he wants to get stronger so he can protect his family.

The training will come in time. Right now, helping take care of his daughter was still his top priority. He already made it clear to Eve a couple months back that he won't start any kind of training until she's a little older. It's nice that they were able to make future arrangements together so they can live as a full functioning family.

Eve and Frieza were currently in their living room with baby Leah. They had the t.v. on in the background. Frieza was sitting next to Eve who had Leah laying against the side of her chest and collarbone. In her other hand she had a small baby book she was reading to her daughter. The small family was just having a lazy afternoon inside while a rainstorm was passing over.

Leah was starting doze as her mother read to her. She let out a tiny yawn as she snuggled into Eve's shoulder. Within another couple minutes she was fast asleep. Eve put the book down on the couch and leaned back with Leah still lying on her.

"You want me to take her?" Frieza quietly asks.

Eve carefully hands the sleeping infant over to her father. Then stretches her arms over her head before leaning back into the comfortable couch. Sitting here, gave her some deja'vu. This reminded her of the times her and Frieza would frequent the couch in her living room back home. They would spend time there while he was still healing from his injuries.

It stirred up quite a few memories. Like the time she poured her heart out to him about her rough upbringing while she was drunk. To the times she would sit there teaching him how to read English so he can read some of her books including the ones she got for him to kill time during those tedious hours he was laid up and could only get around on crutches from time to time.

Frieza turned his attention from Leah who was still fast asleep in his arms to Eve. She had a small smile on her face as she looked out one of the windows off to the left side of the room. Then rain still coming down pretty hard you can hear it hit the glass in thin tiny rivulets.

"What's on your mind that has you so happy?" He asks.

Eve turns her blue gaze over to Frieza and her smile widens.

"Just remembering some of our time together back at my house. I recall many a times we were lazing about on the couch in the living room just like we're doing now. Back when you were still healing from the injuries you sustained when you were hit by that car. You would go crazy with boredom at times so, we spent most of our free time in the living room." She said.

A slow smile made its way to his face.

"I remember. You taught me many things during my stay in the beginning. Like the lab top and reading in your language." He paused for a moment and let out a brief chuckle. "I also recall the time you came home very inebriated. I still can't figure out to this day how you made it to the couch without falling."

Eve snorted, "I wasn't that plastered. Your exaggerating shit again."

Frieza snickers, "Hardly, though I did appreciate the entertainment value that came with it. It was certainly some of the best entertainment I've had in a long time. That's for sure."

Had he not been holding the baby right now; she would've whacked him over the head with one of the couch pillows. Instead, she just crossed her arms and leveled him with a look.

"Don't make me bring up some of your not so shining moments. I'm pretty sure they outweigh my own." Eve replied.

Frieza opened his mouth to say something else. But he was cut off by a sharp knock on the front door. They shared a brief glance wondering who it could be. Usually, one of their friends would give them a heads up if they were dropping by. Well, with the exception of Goku who still had a tendency to drop by unexpectedly and unannounced at times.

Eve got up and went to answer the door. She was quite surprised to see who it was at her door.

"Lord Beerus, Whis? I didn't know you were coming to Earth today." She says, as she allows them in out of the rain.

"Forgive us for the unexpected visit. Sometimes we do have an affinity for just dropping by on this world. I didn't even let Bulma know until right before we left home. When we did get to her place, she informed me you had something important to discuss with us. Of course, we ate lunch before we decided to make our way over here." Whis informed her.

Frieza overheard them from the couch seeing as the front door leads into the living room. He carefully got up so he wouldn't jostle his daughter and made his way over to the small group.

"Well, it certainly is an unexpected visit. But thank you for stopping by." He says.

"You're welcome. Shall we sit?" Whis said, gesturing to the couch and recliners.

They all went and sat down.

"So, Eve what would you like to discuss?" Lord Beerus asks.

She was silent for a few moments before she finally spoke.

"It's just...I have been here for a little over a year now. And I was wondering when it would be safe enough to see my family back in my reality. Not for very long, just at least a visit to see how everyone is. I'm sure their also extremely worried. We did kind of leave rather abruptly before I could even give an explanation or say goodbye." Eve explained.

"We understand that you miss them. And I suppose a year is long enough for any trouble to blow over. Though we need to figure out what is a good place to teleport to. It would need to be somewhere enclosed and out of sight from public view. That's mainly why we teleported right into your living room in the first place when we arrived." Whis said.

Eve tried to think of where they could go. Only one thought came to mind though. And even then, it could be risky. But it may be the only option they have.

"Perhaps, you could teleport us to my family's home? That's really the only option I could think of." She explained.

Whis gave it some thought. Lord Beerus was still unsure about the option.

"I can see that going one of two ways. What makes you think your family won't become downright hysterical upon seeing us with our sudden entry?" The Destroyer inquires.

"I'll just have to do my part in explaining everything. I like to think they would just be happy to see that I'm alright more than anything." Eve replies.

"I guess we could always leave if things don't work out. No harm in giving it a shot. Plus, I know I promised you Eve that I could take you back to them when things settled down. And angels are not one to break their word." Whis said.

Her heart leapt when Whis said he could take them there. She wanted to inquire when they could make arrangements for the visit. He spoke up again before she could ask.

"While we're here, we can probably use the time to pop in for a visit. I take it you two weren't really all that busy before we stopped by." He stated.

They were a bit surprised that they would make the decision that quick and to go during this time while they were here. Eve and Frieza glanced at one another for a few moments and nodded.

She smiled and turned her attention back to the two deities.

"We'd be happy to make a short visit at this time." Eve replied.

"If it's alright we would just need to pack a few things for the baby. Then we will be ready." Frieza adds.

"Fine, just don't take too long. We're not making a day trip out of it. At the most it will only be for a few short hours. After all, we're quite busy ourselves." Lord Beerus said.

"I understand. The fact that we can go at all is more than I could've ever asked for." Eve says.

"Well, better go pack your stuff then. We'll wait here for you." Whis told them.

Eve couldn't move fast enough. Frieza followed her into the nursery and watched as she grabbed a few diapers from the drawers along with some cream. She also packed a couple bottles just in case. And threw a small light blanket into the pile. Then she pulled the diaper bag out of the closet and proceeded to put all of the supplies in there.

She almost went out to grab a jacket but stopped herself when she remembered they will be teleported to inside the house. Eve turned her attention to Frieza who still had Leah in his arms.

"You ready?" Eve asks.

"Yes." He replies.

A hesitant look became present on his face.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"It's just, you do realize it may not go well, and we may have to make a hasty retreat." He inquires.

In her excitement, she briefly forgot how they may react to seeing Frieza, Lord Beerus, and Whis. But it was also killing her wondering how they were all doing, and she missed them very much. Eve understood that could very much be a possibility. And gave him a sad smile.

"Then we will leave. And it's not like it will take time in doing so. Whis teleports within seconds. Though I still hope it won't come to that. Yours and Leah's safety matter most to me. At any sign of trouble, we will let Lord Beerus and Whis know it's time to go." Eve said.

He grasped her hand and gave it a light squeeze.

"Then let's not keep them waiting." Frieza said.

He led her out of the nursery, and they headed back to the living room.

"Alright, if we're all ready you just need to give me coordinates to their home." Whis instructed.

Eve told him where the location was. Before he told them to place a hand on him. Whis tapped his staff to the floor a couple times, and they were off. It was still amazing that traveling that fast through space and time existed. Yet, Whis managed it like it was nothing.

Within seconds the wind died down and they found themselves in what Eve recognized as her adoptive father's study. No one was currently in there. They heard movement downstairs though. So, they headed out of there and walked down the hall until they got to the stairs. Eve was the first one to slowly and quietly head down.

Before she could make it down five steps someone spotted her from their position on the loveseat down in the living room which was off to the right of the stairs. Eve quickly made eye contact with none other than Drew. Her eyes began to tear up.

Wondering what their son was looking at, his parents looked behind them over the side of the couch that faced away from the stairs and gasped when they saw their long-lost adopted daughter. Both the older adults sprung up to their feet.

"Mom, Dad, Drew. I'm home." Eve sobbed.

She raced down the rest of the stairs while the other three adults ran over and met her at the bottom where they pulled her in for a hug. Her mother couldn't stop crying while her father enveloped her in the biggest bear hug. Drew did the same. All of them were elated to see her again after all this time.

"Eve, my baby girl. Where have you been all this time!? Devin told us what happened at the base. Next thing he knew, you just disappeared." Her mother sobbed.

"I'm...I'm so sorry mom. But it was out of my control. We just had to leave for everyone's safety." Eve tried to explain.

"By everyone, you mean Frieza, Goku, and Vegeta don't you?" Drew speculated.

She was a little surprised he knew both the saiyans were present in this reality. But then, their cousin Devin must've told him everything after they all were transported back to the DBZ Universe.

Before Eve could answer, her mom let out a startled yelp as she spotted someone else near the top of the landing. Her dad followed her line of sight and his eyes widened in alarm at what he was seeing. The only one who didn't seem too startled was Drew because he's seen Frieza before over a year ago in Eve's home along with their friends Matt and Lina. He was however a bit anxious at seeing Lord Beerus and Whis.

"Greetings everyone. Forgive the intrusion. We were just bringing Eve, Frieza, and Leah by for a visit." Whis politely said.

Drew furrowed his brows.

"Leah? Who's that?" Her brother asks.

Frieza took a couple steps down until he was standing behind Eve. That's when they all noticed the infant who surprisingly was still asleep. Her family all seemed stunned when they spotted the pale alien holding a small infant in his arms.

"Can we please all sit down. I promise I will explain everything. And before you ask, no; they are not a threat. They are my friends." She told them.

Their eyes flickered back and forth between her and the alien beings.

"Sure, good idea. Let's go." Her dad stuttered as he continued to stare at them.

Eve lightly grasped her father's arm and placed a hand on her mother's back and began to steer them back to the living room area. Drew followed close behind. Something tells her this will be a long evening.

Well, it was certainly quite the homecoming for Eve and Co. Guess we'll see how everything goes next chapter. Until Next Time ;)
