Just what heck is going on with those two?

After witnessing Helmet D. Heyman and Flandre Scarlet giggling like maniacs, Gino Samuels and Meiling Hong are left wondering if the two had finally mad. Meanwhile, Helmet is teaching Flandre how to make friends... by introducing her to the world of FaceBook.

The next day in Uminari City, we head towards the 'abandoned' Takehera Estates and inside the room where Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa Harlaown and Hayate Yagami are sharing, we see Nanoha waking up from her slumber but she didn't get enough sleep after that talk she had with Marcus "The Kane" McGee from last night.

The very fact that Marcus is ready to commit murder to avenge Nodoka Takehara for her sufferings, sends chills down her spine and while Nanoha doesn't get scared that easily but the sole look on Marcus' face really unnerved her and at the same time, she is concern about his mental state.

After dressing up in her uniform, Nanoha made her way down the hallway when she came across with Fate.

"Good morning Nanoha." Fate greeted with a smile, "Did you sleep well?" she asked.

Nanoha shook her head, "Not much." she replied.

Fate noticed the solemn expression on Nanoha's face, "Is there something wrong?" she asked in concern.

Nanoha released a sigh and began to explaining to Fate about her small talk with Marcus last night. As Nanoha explained things, Fate looks at her in shock with various kinds of thoughts racing from her mind which ranged from disappointed, enraged, guilty, shocked and upset.

"H-he's going to do that?" Fate uttered in dread.

Nanoha shook her head, "I'm not really sure but looks like he's serious." she replied, "Those eyes he had last night, it was so cold that I barely see any traces of kindness." she described, "Nodoka's suffering must have snapped something inside of him." she assumed.

"Goodness... should we stop him?" Fate suggested, "I know that what happened to Nodoka is unforgivable but I think Marcus' plans won't do him any good." she stated in concern.

"I know but I got a feeling that Marcus isn't the type of person who backs out of his words." Nanoha pointed out.

Fate then gained a look of determination, "I refuse!" she said, "I refuse to let him do this!" she declared.

Nanoha nodded in agreement, "Then let's do it together." she beckoned.

The two then made their way towards the living area to confront Marcus about his plans and the moment they entered the room, they we're shock to see what's in front of them.

"Okay! To the left Eddy!" Marcus shouted while holding a videogame controller with a headpiece around his head, "To the left!" he repeated, "No! I said left! Not right!" he insisted.

"You're not making any sense Marcus!" Eddy Skipper McGee argued while holding a second controller, "Damn!" he cursed, "Beast Boy almost got me!" he admitted.

"Don't look now!" Rex Salazar piped in, "But the Team of Ed and Trixie is coming!" he pointed out in panic.

"Aw yeah!" Edwin "Ed" Horace Williams cheered, "Eat laser beams, you unwanted fuckerers!" he beckoned.

Inside the living area and on the floor, we see Marcus, Eddy, Rex, Ed, Duncan Nelson and Jake Long playing a H.A.V.O.C Marathon using a huge Holographic Screen while Xyrielle "XY Girl" Yona, Vita and Shamal watches them from a couch.

"Holy shit!" Duncan cursed, "I think Chad and Darren just arrived!" he announced.

"So does Raya and Sylvia!" Jake added.

"Raya?" Marcus uttered in dread, "Oh boy..." he breathed out, "I better keep my head on the game, I still had that bet on her!" he cried out.

Vita then turns to Xyrielle, "Bet?" the redhead questioned.

Xyrielle sighed, "He made a bet with a girl back in camp." she answered, "Whatever it is, I had no idea." she uttered.

Nanoha and Fate could only stare at the scenario in front of them in utter surprise as Marcus had gone back to his usual cheerful yet rude personality, no traces of his cold demeanor written on his face.

"Eh? What's going on?" Nanoha uttered in confusion.

Hayate then walked towards them, "Good morning you two." she greeted, "The boys are currently playing an online videogame called H.A.V.O.C." she pointed out, "They're just killing time before they go for another investigation tonight." she stated.

"I... I see..." Nanoha uttered.

"Something wrong?" Hayate asked.

Nanoha shook her head, "Nothing..." she replied.

"Wooh! Close! So close!" Marcus squawked, "Boom!" he cheered, "Looks like I won the bet!" he declared.

Xyrielle crosses her arms, "What did you and Raya betted on anyway?" she questioned.

"Ya don't need to know." Marcus replied with a blank look.

"Watch out Eddy!" Duncan shouted, "Trixie is aiming for your nuts again!" he pointed out.

"What?" Eddy gasped, "Oh no, you don't! Haha! Miss me!" he gloated.

Nanoha stares at Marcus for a minute before sighing, "I think we should worry about that later." she advised.

"H-hai..." Fate replied with an unsure look.

"Fucking shit!" Eddy cursed, "Ed tell your hoe to stop shooting me in the nuts!" he demanded.

Ed frowned in response, "Did you just called Trixie a hoe?!" he exclaimed in anger, "That's it! You're going to pay!" he declared.

"Uh-oh! You should've had said that Eddy!" Rex exclaimed.

"Ahh! Fucking shit!" Eddy yelled in panic.

Shamal watches the boys with concerned looks, "Xyrielle..." she uttered, "Is it me or is just that some of your teammates had barn-raised mouths?" she pointed out.

Xyrielle sighed, "Yeah... pretty much everyone back in camp had machine gun-like mouths..." she confirmed, "I'm no exception." she admitted which surprised Shamal.

"Huh? Must be something in your camp are fond of." Vita commented.

"I can't argue with that." Xyrielle replied in agreement.

Meanwhile outside the mansion, we see Nodoka Takehara, Ichigo Kurosaki, Taro Yamada, Sigma, Akane Isshiki and Zafira gathered around the lawn in a circle with Nodoka petting Zafira.

Nodoka then stretches her arms, "It's been a while since I had time hanging around outside the mansion." she admitted before flopping down the grass, "I just love lying here outside during a beautiful day." she stated.

"I hear you!" Akane chirped in agreement before flopping down right next to her, "Ah! So nice and comfy!" she commented.

"It makes you really sleepy though." Nodoka quipped only to hear Akane snoring, "Already!?" she squawked in shock.

"It's a good thing the barrier we set up had the ability to hide those behind it." Taro commented looking towards the gate with Randy Cunningham sticking his tongue out at several passing-by on-goers, "Outside the people can only see the mansion but they can't see us." he explained.

"Very convenient." Zafira admitted.

Nodoka closed her eyes, when suddenly a flash of images briefly appears from her mind, she quickly sat up in shock, "What!?" she gasped.

"What is it Nodoka?" Sigma asked in concern.

"I... I just saw another future sight!" Nodoka exclaimed.

Akane then sat up, "What is it?" she asked.

"So you're awake!" Taro retorted.

Ichigo stood up, "I think it's better that everyone hear this." he suggested, "Gather everyone in the living room, we're having another meeting." he beckoned.

A minute later, everyone are seen gathered in the living area, though the boys were complaining because they had to postponed their game but they relented in the end.

"So what did you see this time, Nodoka-chan?" Javelin asked.

"I saw another creature in another place, I believe... it's some sort of mall... an abandoned mall to be exact." Nodoka explained.

"Why does every place we go had to be abandoned!?" Eddy questioned in disbelief asked.

"Do you know where the abandoned mall is?" Marcus inquired.

"There's only one abandoned mall in this city." Nodoka shared, "It's called the Ichiban and was closed down due to low sales." she explained.

Marcus nodded, "Okay." he said, "Then some of us will head there tonight to investigate." he chalked out.

bzzzttt...

Later that night and while the entire city is fast asleep, we see a group consisting of Vita, Sigma, Vaas Montenegro, Needles Kane, Geraldo Axel and Nadia "Ms." Fortune, making their way towards the abandoned mall.

"Okay..." Needles uttered, "So, how do we find these Nightmares inside this horrendous mall?" he asked.

"Just keep your eyes open." Vaas advised, "Eddy said that they just appear out of nowhere where least you expected." he stated.

"We also need to keep an eye for Aka Red." Vita added.

"What about her?" Ms. Fortune questioned.

"According to Marcus, Aka Red is a Blessed with the ability to turn her hands into drills." Vita explained, "And she's also very territorial, threatening people who dare step in this city." she added.

"She sounds like a real peace of work." Ms. Fortune commented.

Geraldo then looks around when he noticed something, "Guys!" he called out which earned everyone's attention.

"What is it, Geraldo?" Sigma asked.

Geraldo kept quiet for a minute before speaking, "I see them..." he replied before pointing a finger at the second floor balcony.

Everybody looks up to see several strangely drawn stick figures with red eyes and long limbs crawling around the balcony.

"Marcus is right." Vaas uttered, "Those Nightmares appears to be something what a child would draw." he commented while getting his knife out.

"Welp! We came here for them, so let's end this quick!" Ms. Fortune beckoned while getting into fighting position.

Geraldo then began to count, "There are total nine of them." he pointed out, "So there's enough for the six of us." he reassured.

"Why are you keeping count?" Needles questioned in disbelief.

Suddenly, a new voice spoke, "That's too bad because I'm taking down all of them." the voice declared. Everyone then looks up at the third floor to see Aka Red sitting on the edge with a heated glare, she then drops down the floor with ease, she then looks at them and only recognized Vita and Signum, "Huh? This group is a lot different from the last." she commented.

"Stand down Aka!" Signum advised, "Our groups were tasked to take out these creatures while investigating it at the same time, we can't let you do what you want with them." she stated with a stern voice.

"Shut up!" Aka growled, "I do whatever I want!" she declared, "And I told you before to stay away from my business or I'll drill you from the inside out!" she reminded.

"That's one catchphrase." Ms. Fortune mused.

Vita then steps forward, "Guys! Go ahead and take on those creatures, I'll deal with this unreasonable brat." she beckoned.

"Who are you calling a brat?! You brat!" Aka demanded.

Vass nodded, "Understood! Let's go team!" Vaas beckoned.

And with that, Vaas, Needless, Geraldo, Ms. Fortune and Signum ran towards the stairs which leads to the second floor, much to Aka's displeasure, "Oh no you don't!" the redhead yelled and was about to go after them but Vita got in her away.

"You're opponent is me!" Vita exclaimed while holding her red mechanical hammer.

Aka then turns her hands into drills, "So you wanna go at it huh?!" she exclaimed.

Upon arriving on the second floor, the Nightmares quickly charges at them.

"Here they come! Let's go!" Vaas commanded.

Signum was the first to strike as she and one Nightmare would exchange attacks while dodging at the same time, Signum thrust her blade forward but thanks to the creatures slender build it dodges by ducking down, Signum then took a step back before igniting her sword with flames before charging again, "Try and dodge this!" she challenged, "Purple Lightning Flash!" she yelled before slicing the creature in half.

Meanwhile, Ms. Fortune unleashes a fury of swipes on one Nightmare, resulting to numerous severe scratches on its body, she then somersaults forward doing another claw strike completely killing the creature, she then charges to another one while quickly removing her head before spinning it like a drill, creating a hole on the creature's body, killing it on the process.

As this is going on, a Nightmare jumps towards Needles but the psychotic clown swung his machete and hits the creature on it's side which made it fall to the ground, the ice cream clown wasted no time butchering the creature with his weapon until it was dead, he then noticed another one coming after him, he quickly throws his machete like a kunai, quickly stabbing the Nightmare on the head.

Geraldo puts on his goggles while bringing out two hatchets, two Nightmares then charges towards him with one creature swung its claws but Geraldo blocks it with his weapon, the former criminal then kicks the creature on the mid-section before bringing down his hatchet and then repeatedly butchers it around the neck. The other Nightmare tried to attack him but is greeted by a hatchet to it's face.

Vaas swung his knife grazing a Nightmare on its chest, the creature retaliates by swinging it's claws but Vaas ducks down, he quickly stabs the creature on the jaw before tackling it down on the floor, Vaas wasted no time pulling out his handgun, placed it on the creature's face before pulling the trigger, killing it via close headshot. He then noticed the last Nightmare trying to escape only for him to shoot it on the head, killing it quickly.

"That's takes care of that." Ms. Fortune mused.

"They weren't kidding." Signum uttered while watching the creatures' corpses fading away into dust, "These things do turn into dust whenever they die." she commented.

"I wonder how Vita is doing with that girl." Needles thought out loud.

Meanwhile back on the first floor, Vita just delivered a powerful kick towards Aka's stomach, making her gasp for air while crashing towards a wall.

"Give it up brat!" Vita urged, "You're years too early to defeat me!" she declared.

Aka glares at her, "Shut up!" she growled, "I won't let a snotty little brat like you look down on me!" she shouted before charging forward with her drills ready to pierce her opponent.

Vita responded by blocking her attacks with her hammer and the two would try to push each other, Aka tried her best but Vita was far more superior, the braided redhead quickly broke through Aka's defense, much to her shock. Vita then inverts her weapon and used the end to hit Aka on the stomach, making the girl to gasp violently before she was sent flying to a wall. Aka then fell down to the floor, unconscious and defeated.

Vita sighed, "She can definitely fight but she's still green." she commented.

A minute later, the group are seen gathered around the middle of the mall, Aka is seen being carried by Geraldo on his right shoulder.

"Well done everyone." Vaas complimented, "We eliminated the creatures roaming in this area but sadly, we didn't get any new information about them." he stated.

"Guess this investigation are a lot more troublesome than we thought." Signum admitted.

"We'll just have to keep on searching for more clues." Ms. Fortune beckoned, "Who knows?" she uttered, "We might actually solved this puzzle sooner or later." she mused.

"Gee, I hope so." Geraldo uttered.

Needless then turns to girl being carried by Geraldo, "By the way, are you sure we need to bring that girl with us?" the creepy clown asked.

"As much I don't like her, I just can't leave her here." Vita admitted, "Might as well take her back with us and try to knock some sense to her." she stated.

"Good idea." Vaas said in agreement, "Hopefully, we could get her to join the Heroes Coalitions." he said.
