I chopped up another tree and tossing the wood into the growing pile next to my home before admiring the area, it was looking better out here now, A lot of space. The inside was looking real good as well.

I spent my morning cleaning up the green house before I felt done and Hungry. Took a quick shower put on some clean clothes and headed to the bar.

Walking in Gus was staring at me with this strange smile, I looked around at everyone here before I looked at him confused. He then moved quickly into the back as I took my seat on the corner.

I spotted Clint talking to Emily in the corner booth, curious how that is going.

Marnie was sitting at a table looking kind of lonely I almost was about to get up and talk to her when Gus came back out.

He had a plate of burger and fries sticking it in front of me. "Awesome."

"Was waiting for you before I put it on the Menu." I smiled at the kindness before I bit into the large hot burger.

I nodded with my mouth full "It is good." He then placed a new cocktail in front of me with a smile. These people are getting to know me huh? I felt strangely nice being a regular. I took a sip, it was alright but not my speed but I nodded and sipped it slowly pretending I liked it, unsure what this one was.

I leaned on the counter eating as I thought about if it was time to put the farm up for sale. It was good enough but I just could not do it yet, I know I did want to see what summer was like here. I was so lost when I looked up and saw Shane not far away it startled me as I did not even hear him come in.

I slowly stood up to use the bathroom. I spent my time fixing my hair and walked out crossing paths with Shane coming from the male's. We blankly looked at each other as I let him move in front of me. I started to chuckle as I looked down making him glare at me, I walked closer reaching and pulling his shirt from the back of pants, stuffed in his boxers. He looked at me a little embarrassed and walked away.

I followed behind with space, done with my drink and food I just headed out.

I peered at the wall outside the store as there was a new help wanted. "For girls only: psst I need a cauliflower...you know what it is for, keep it secret okay? Haley." I started to laugh, okay this must be some running joke or something.

I suddenly kind of liked her, I am unsure what you would do with a cauliflower but it was still funny. Maybe sometime I should post one and see what happens.

I walked into the store needing some toilet paper, I grabbed a large bag and a bag of chips, I put them on the counter and waited. The green haired lady came out saw me gave me a strange look and walked back into their home.

I just peered around, grabbing a lighter and some chocolate, it was not long until he came out and rang me up. "So I have a package for Robin." He tried to wait for me as it was turning into my job and handed a small box to me.

I popped in my truck putting them on the passenger seat wondering if it was my part. I opened the chocolate bar and slowly ate as I headed to her home. I pulled up to Sabastian working on my bike as I crawled out with the small package.

He looked my way and gave me a head nod as I nodded back. "Your mom home?"

"She went out with Demetrius, date night." I nodded, I had not met him yet. "Maru's dad." He spoke. "He is a scientist who studies the valley's local wildlife."

"You and your family are all so interesting." I spoke but before he spoke as he looked at me. "I have a package for her."

He looked at me for a second. "You can just leave it at the door." I nodded as I went and placed it down before leaning on the wall.

"Other then the bike, got plans?" I asked just trying to chat.

"I will work in an hour and then heading to Sam's." I nodded, feeling like this was over I walked back to my truck.

"See you."

Unsure what to do I walked to the beach, I found Alex on it tossing a ball to himself but he noticed me and he smiled as I walked towards him, looking around we were alone, when he tossed it at me and it was startling I almost did not catch it.

I held it right and tossed it back at him but it fell short making him laugh and pick it up. "So close, you held it right." I smiled. "You going swimming? I would love to see you in a bathing suit."

I was startled, making me nervous as I was alone with him and he was flirting, he looks like a nice guy but man he is ripped. "I um, wore the wrong shoes for the beach." I looked down. "This sucks, see you later."

I waved back as I walked away not looking back, it was a long day when I had nothing to do, it is still hours from sundown I went back to the bar, the trio was not here just the regulars that I kind of am now, I drank a bit and got to talking to Gus.

I have learned so much here.

I pulled out the old nails holding the leg to the table top and tossed it away. I had gotten two old barstools and a broken hairdressing chair from the back of the bar Gus gave me. The chair was missing the seat but the leg from the hairdressing chair was perfect to nail under my table.

I flipped it up and shook it and it did not wobble this time. Pressing the foot pedal it rose up to a good height and looked so cute. I stood there proud at me doing something so well. I then moved to fix up the two bar stools replacing the seat with fake black leather to match my couch.

I stood back and admired them, crossing my arms it looked so nice.

How am I going to leave this place?

I heard my cat hissing and screaming making me run outside, it was chasing away a small fox. I went to help both but it ran from her as she moved in an arch, hissing. The fox was gone a little worried for my cat to just roam now but she loves it.

I spent the rest of day cleaning all I could on the outside and trying to do something with the broken greenhouse.

I sat on my porch with cola in the dark, the front light only slightly luminating the area when a Shadow to my left scared me making me jump up. "It's me." Abigail laughed out as she came over sitting on my steps with me.

"Shit" I said as I grabbed her a unopened can from beside me and handed it over.

I just looked at her in wait at what she was doing. "My mother is insane." She spoke. "I used to come here and explore your yard when I felt like this." I nodded grabbing her a pop can from next to me and she took it.

"Did you walk here?" She nodded. "That is impressive it is a bit of a walk."

"I walk everywhere, because my mom would not let me get a license for so long until I was twenty and even now I have no car, because she does not want me driving." She got angry. "Like I would just drive far away, what I can not have freedom!" She yelled.

"Well you are welcome here anytime."

She looked at me. "You are kind I just don't get it."

"Get what?"

She looked sad and shook her head, she looked behind her and walked up and just wondered into the cabin, I slowly stood and followed.

"Wow." She looked around. "I broke into here a few times, man you made it, nice, must have been expensive."

"Not really, I am cheep I got around it, the paint and tile and lights were the most expensive."

She turned on my t.v but just stared at me when all I had was three channels making me laugh. "You need tech in here my girl."

"I would but it is not worth the money if I am just going to leave."

She looked sad. "I want a girlfriend to talk boys with and stuff."

I sat down on my couch. "Boy's huh?" She looked ashamed. "Got any boy's?"

She looked at me kind of scared confusing me. "Nope." She looked at my t.v and turned it off. "No boys." She looked at me. "You like anyone?"

"I am not here for romance." She looked confused. "I would rather not talk about it." We both did not want to continue this boy's chat making me laugh. "Well, that was fun, such a long chat." I walked to my fridge. "Hungry?"

We just chatted lightly mostly she just vented to me about her parents.

She was going to spend the night but once she was done venting I drove her home as it was around midnight, I enjoyed the drive back in the dark, the forest was wonderful.

I went to Jojo mart for more candle ingredients, they were selling well. I filled my basket, I was making good money on them, I paused and wondered what else I was good at to make that the town may love.

I paused looking down an Isle at Shane, he grabbed his head and went back to what he was doing. I just walked off not to bother him. Walking around there really is not a lot of workers. The women at the cash, Sam, Shane. No wonder he works so hard as it seems to be all on him.

A small town can find use in this place as Pierre's does not hold nearly enough food but then there is only so many that live around here. I wonder what the profits of a place this big has in such a rural place.

I almost turned down an Isle as I saw the back of the suited man making me move to a new one. It was like a reverse game of tag as I did not want to deal with his cocky ass, I made my way to the Lady, avoiding him well.

I slammed the back of my truck when Shane wondered out, he tore off his vest and hat tossing them in his truck, he glanced my way and I smiled back but he just got in and drove off, speeding off like someone was hurt.

I don't want to invade his life, I wont be here much longer anyway. I will probably be home before my birthday, there was just something about him that drew me to him. Maybe because he looks as broken as me.

I was driving home when Sam jumped in front of my truck near the town making me slam on the breaks. "You fuck!" I yelled. I almost hit him. He ran to the passengers side and hoped in. "Drive!" He yelled at me as I saw Abigail chasing him down with a sword.

"Wha?" I was so confused.

"Drive!" He yelled again making me press the gas. "Oh shit." We drove away as she stood on the side of the road looking pissed as fuck.

"What did you do?" I looked at him. He laughed, leaning back. "Where we going?"

"Oh, she can get mean when she's angry." He laughed looking comfertable as I moved down the road slowly, unsure if I need to turn around or something.

"Well I am going home, should I drop you off somewhere?"

"I can't go home yet." He looked back. "She knows where I live, let me see your place." I just shook my head with a smile and continued on my way faster. "At least it would take a while to chase me down there and then she will calm down."

"What did you do?"

"Something bad." He would not say, I sighed and let it go.

I pulled into my home and he jumped out right away as he has never been here and just looked around, again being alone with a guy was making me nervous but come on, Sam is awesome.

Right?

"You ever just... Kitty!" He ran towards my cat who let him pet her, ya, Sam is cool, he is like a ball of light. "Aw so cute." He was just petting her with his smile before he picked her up and cuddled her to his chest as she tried to get away.

I could not help but smile.

He put her down as I moved towards my cabin when I looked at him but he was gone. "This is a good tree." He was suddenly halfway up one of the bigger ones. "Damn the view is nice." I was so confused on how he did that so fast.

He climbed higher. "Wow is all this yours?" Confused I moved to it and started to climb, I was slow as I slowly made it up next to him and he was right. Since this one was older I could see almost over the rest of the babies, this yard was huge unsure where it ended but I think I have more farm here then I thought.

I think I need to raise the price in my head for this place. It was bigger then I ever thought.

We both hung around up there for a while before we got down, with nothing to do at my place I drove him back to town.
