Narrator the City of Townville's is under an attck "Mojo Jojo sits in his flying saucer as it hovers over the city of Townsville but hidden behind a billboard. He grins evilly as he waits for the time to launch his latest plan. He looks down at the unsuspecting city below him, the people going about their business, unaware of what is about to happen to them.

Mojo Jojo said "Yes, soon I will show these ignorant fools that they will no longer have heroes to protect them."

He turns to look at the distant horizon and barely makes out a large object looming in the distance. As it comes closer Mojo's grin becomes wider as he recognizes the shape of a large monster.

Mojo Jojo Laught "Buwah ha ha ha ha ha ha! Success comes to those who wait."

Narrator The Utonium home itself is the scene of strife as the Powerpuff Girls have a personality conflict. of there own

in the Living room Counch

Buttercup said "Aw, you're a baby!"

Bubbles said "You're a meanie!"

Blossom said "All right you two, what is this argument all about this time?"

Buttercup said "She started crying when the wolf chased those rabbits in that wild life documentary she was watching on the teevee."

Bubbles said "Those poor bunnies were going to be eaten by that big bad wolf. Why do they have to show that terrible stuff on television?"

Buttercup said "Well duh, it's real life."

Bubbles said "Real life can't be that terrible!"

Buttercup said "This from a girl who fights monsters once a week."

Bubbles said "You're a meanie, you have no heart at all!"

Blossom said "Buttercup, why don't you go punch a side of beef or something? I'll talk to Bubbles."

Buttercup said "Whimp!"

Blossom said "Just go or I'll have the Professor give you a lecture."

Buttercup said "Okay okay, you don't have to get nasty." She leaves, grumbling under her voice about a world populated by cowards.

Blossom sit next to Bubble on the Couch"

Bubbles said "Why does she have to be so heartless?"

Blossom said "Now Bubbles, your sister does have a heart."

Bubbles said "Where does she keep it? Buried in the back yard?"

Blossom said "Don't let her bother you, Buttercup just sees the world differently than you. She's more...uh...realistic."

Bubbles said "A REALISTIC world does not have to be a bad world."

Blossom said "I know, I know, but sometimes we have to accept things the way they are."

Bubbles said now "I feel bad for those bunnies."

Blossom said "Tell you what, let's watch a cartoon video together. That will cheer you up."

Bubbles said "Oh goody! Can we watch MY LITTLE MAGICAL PUPPY again?"

Blossom said "You've seen that one over fifty times."

Bubbles said "I know but it's my favorite, please."

Blossom (rolling her eyes) - "Okay, let's watch MY LITTLE MAGICAL PUPPY again. I'll make the popcorn you get the tape."

Bubbles said "Yippee!"

Suddenly the hotline buzzes. Blossom said "Thank goodness, saved by the bell. I mean hotline."

Bubbles said "Awww!"

Blossom said "Powerpuff Girls hotline, Blossom here. Yes, Mayor? A monster? We're on our way."

Bubbles said "Mean nasty monster spoiling my day, he's just as bad as Buttercup."

Blossom said "Now Bubbles, I know you don't mean that."

Buttercup barges back into the room.

Buttercup said "Did I just hear the hotline?"

Blossom said "Yeah, monster attack on Townsville."

Buttercup - said "Great, monster booty kicking time. I was getting bored around here."

Blossom said "Let's roll!" Just as they step up to fly out the windows Bubbles sticks her tongue out at Buttercup and then zips out.

Buttercup said "What was that all about?"

Blossom - said "Um, personal issues."

Buttercup said "She's getting weird."

Blossom said "Let's just go."

Narrator Mewhile The giant scaly monster stomps through the streets of Townsville settings buildings on fire with its flaming breath. The citizens of the city scream and run away in a panic as Mojo Jojo watches nearby, waiting for his moment. Then he hears the jet-like sounds of the Powerpuff Girls approaching. He fires up his new Anti-X raygun.

Mojo Jojo said "This time I will get them."

The Powerpuff Girls arrive on the scene while people try to get out of the way of the monster. As they get into position to fight it they do not notice the small drama happening below them. A young woman herds a group of little children out of the playground of a daycare center.

Woman said "Come along quickly children."

Little girl said "I'm scared."

Woman said "You will be safe down here. Go on..." Thinking only of the safety of the children she makes them climb down into the cellar of the daycare building and then shuts the door after them. She stands in front of the door bravely protecting it with her own body. But then the monster's breath sets a nearby gasoline tanker truck on fire and the ensuing blasts knocks the young woman over.

Woman - yelled "OH MY GOODNESS!"

She stunned into unconsciousness by the blast. A police office directing the panicking crowd to safety sees the young woman on the ground and rushes over to her. He hoists her over his shoulder and runs out of the area as the Powerpuff Girls begin their attack on the monster.

Mojo Jojo watches as the girls coordinate their fight, to him Buttercup especially is effective since she has learned to trust Blossom's leadership and is their strongest fighter.

Mojo Jojo said "Yes, you are my first victim." Knowing that without her strength and stamina the girls would be more vulnerable

Narrator Mojo aims his ray at her. When she isn't looking he fires and bathes her body in radiation which nullifies her Chemical X powers.

Buttercup said "Uh...what's happening to me...I feel so..." Feeling weak Buttercup falls out of the sky like a rock.

Mojo Jojo laugh "Buwah ha ha ha ha ha, I did it!"

Narrator Blossom and Bubbles are too busy fighting the monster to notice what has happened to their sister. Mojo chuckles to himself as he now aims his ray at Blossom. Without her leadership the remaining Powerpuff Girl would be at his mercy, he thinks. But before he can fire his ray the monster's tail swings in his direction and knocks his saucer out of the sky.

Mojo Jojo yelled "AAAAHHHH!"

Narrator His saucer crashes into an alley. Crawling out of the wreckage and suffering aches and pains Mojo Jojo slinks back to his lair.

Mojo Jojo said "Groan, I will get the others another day."

Narrator Buttercup wakes up with a headache and finds herself laying in a lot next to a small building. The whole area around her is burning from the fires set by the monster. She tries to fly but finds she can't. Her powers have left her.

Buttercup said "Oh geez, I can't fly. I feel like when Mojo splashed the Antidote X on me during that slumber party." She looks for her sisters but finds them some distance away fighting the monster who still makes its way across town.

Buttercup -yelled "Blossom! Bubbles! HELP! Dang, they're too far away to hear me over that monster's roar. And it's getting hot around here." Realizing she is danger from the fire around her she tries to walk out of the area. That is when she hears the small cries for help. Going over to a set of cellar doors on the building she opens them and is confronted by a group of frightened toddlers.

Little boy said "Help us!"

Little girl said "I want my Mommy!"

Buttercup said "Okay okay, settle down. I got to get you out of here. It's not safe for you."

Little boy said "Where's the teacher?" Many of the kids start crying.

Buttercup said "There's no one else here but us. Stop crying, be brave like me."

Narrator She pulls the kids out of the cellar and has them hold on to each other.

Buttercup said "Come on, hold hands and follow me." She leads the group of children out of the building just as it catches fire.

Narrator In a single line they cross the street toward the other side. The way is treacherous as all around them fire seems to block their escape. Buttercup has to think fast as the smoke from the flames is starting to make it hard to see down the street. Then a burning telephone pole falls down in front of them blocking their path. The kids scream and grab onto Buttercup. She looks back and finds the way they came is now a wall of fire. Looking around she spots a small drainage canal next to the road. She climbs over a low fence in their way and helps each of the kids over it. She then leads them down an embankment to the water-filled canal.

Buttercup said "Come on kids, we're going in the water."

Little boy said "I don't want to get wet."

Buttercup said "No arguing, do as I say or I'll throw you in."

Narrator A nearby car's gas tank exploding quickly changes any reluctant minds and the kids all get in the watery canal with Buttercup. When fiery debris begins to rain on them Buttercup picks up a signboard that had been knocked down and holds it over their heads. Tightly bunched together the Powerpuff Girl and the little kids wade carefully down the canal, the water almost coming up to the children's chins. Buttercup keeps the group close together as she tries to lead them to safety. With a final combined punch Blossom and Bubbles knock the monster out and it falls down taking several buildings with it.

Blossom said "That takes of that!"

Bubbles said "No thanks to Buttercup."

Blossom said "Where is she?"

Bubbles said "She's probably goofing off somewhere."

Blossom said "Don't say that Bubbles. You know she never shirks her duty. Something must have happens to her."

Narrator Then they hear the call of a bullhorn nearby. They see it is the fir chief calling to them.

Chief said "Blossom, we need your help."

The girls fly down to where firemen, police and ambulance personnel are gathered.

Blossom said "What's up Chief?"

Chief said "This woman..." He points to a young woman on a stretcher being attended to by medics.

Chief said "...says that there are a group of kids trapped in the basement of a daycare center over there." He points to a small building surrounded by a huge fire. Suddenly the building collapses from the flames as they watch.

Blossom said "OH MY GOODNESS!"

Bubbles said "OH NO, WE'RE TOO LATE!"

The woman becomes hysterical.

Woman yelled "THE CHILDREN, NO! THE CHILDREN!"

Narrator The whole crowd is hushed as the reality sets in that many young lives have just been lost. Then they hear a small cough and a sneeze. They all look over at a nearby canal and see what looks like a signboard floating toward them. Then the sign is thrown off and everyone can see Buttercup and the kids. A spontaneous cheer erupts as firemen and police help pull wet kids out of the canal. The last to reach dry land is Buttercup as she is wrapped in a blanket. The young woman is ecstatic to see her young charges safe. The kids are dried off and given hot cocoa to soothe their nerves after the ordeal.

Buttercup sits on a curb nearby sipping her cocoa as her sisters stand next to her.

Blossom said "I'm proud of you Buttercup."

Buttercup said "Aw, I just did what I was supposed to do."

Bubbles said "What happened to your powers?"

Buttercup said "I'm not sure but...hey, isn't that Mojo's saucer over there?"

Narrator

They all look over and see the wreck of Mojo JoJo's flying saucer in a nearby alley.

Blossom said "It is and I bet he was responsible for you losing your powers. Well once we get you home the Professor can get them back for you."

Narrator Suddenly they are surrounded by little kids who all have come over to hug their rescuer.

Little boy said "Thank you, Buttercup!"

Little girl said "Thank you."

Narrator Blossom and Bubbles step back and watch as the children swarm over Buttercup and smother her with gratitude.

Blossom sees Bubbles wipe a tear from her eye.

Blossom said "Still think Buttercup has no heart?"

Bubbles said "I never meant what I said. She's my sister and she has more than enough heart for all of us."

Narrator: So once again the day is saved (The view dissolves to the background—no girls— as he says this last, and they appear in their standard pose.)
