Narrator the City of Townville In his volcano top lair, that evil monkey genius Mojo Jojo, sits and broods after another of his schemes to destroy the Powerpuff Girls has failed. Time and again his plans would blow up in his face or the Powerpuff Girls would foil them.

Mojo Jojo - said "How long must I endure such failures? Why has fate decreed such a miserable existence for someone as brilliant as I? All the while those Powerpuff brats continue to enjoy praise and admiration from the fools they protect, the citizens of Townsville. It should be me they could be admiring, for my genius."

He walks over and stares down at the debris of another machine of destruction. He kicks a piece of it, sending it clattering across his ruined lair. He surveys the damage to his home and his weapons, all the result of a visit from the Powerpuff Girls.

Mojo Jojo said "Why has not FATE been kind to me?"

He slams his fist on a table. His teeth gritting in frustration.

Mojo Jojo said "If only things happened differently, history taken a different path my life would be so much better..."

He stops and ponders what he has just said. He stares through the hole in the wall at the blue sky beyond.

Mojo Jojo said "If things happened differently? Could that be possible? I tried once before to change the past by using Professor Utonium's time portal.*" (* The episode "Get Back Jojo")

His eyes go to slits as he rubs his chin and his mind churns.

Mojo Jojo said "I may have gone about it the wrong way." A sly grin etches its way across his face.

Narrator oh boy The Utonium home is a bustle of activity as the Powerpuff Girls do chores around the house. Buttercup is in the front yard pushing the lawn mower over the tall grass. Bubbles is inside vacuuming the living room while Blossom helps the Professor with the laundry.

Professor said "Be sure to separate out the whites from the coloreds."

Blossom said "Okay, Professor."

Then Buttercup enters the laundry room from outside.

Buttercup said "Professor, a large package for you was just delivered. It says on the label it's from a scientific supply company so I left it in your lab."

Professor said "Thank you, Buttercup. Must be some lab supplies I ordered, though I don't remember doing so. It doesn't matter, I'll check it out later. Have you finished mowing the lawn?"

Buttercup said "Yeah, I also raked up and bagged the cuttings."

Professor said "Very good, you can take a break before you trim the hedges."

Buttercup said "Can I have a soda? It's really hot out there."

Professor said "No, too much sugar is not good for you. Drink orange juice instead."

Down in the lab, the large box which was just delivered sits unnoticed. Then a panel opens on the side of it and Mojo Jojo climbs out.

Mojo Jojo said "Good, they do not suspect I was inside the box."

Narrator He sneaks across the empty lab toward the door to the storage room. Entering it he looks around the dimly lit place for a certain object which he eventually

finds hidden under a tarp behind some crates. It is the Professor's Time Portal.

Mojo Jojo said "Good, I must set this for a time period a few years back. And I will attempt to change history to my benefit."

He switches on the portal and mustering all his courage steps into the swirling time vortex it creates. He tumbles through time into the past. The journey once again being a trying experience and one he does not enjoy going through. Finally he appears back in the lab a few years in the past. Gathering his wits Mojo looks around to find himself in the same storage room though it looks a bit different. He goes over to the door and peers out after opening it a crack. At a lab table he sees the Professor and at his feet is his lab monkey.

Professor said "Well Jojo, so far my formula for the perfect little girl has not worked. It seems I need to add something but I'm not sure what it should be. Oh well, I'll try again later. Now don't mess with my stuff while I go fix lunch."

When the Professor leaves Jojo jumps up on the lab table and looks into the vat. The mixture of sugar, spice and everything nice just sits there doing nothing. Jojo even sticks his finger in and gives it a bit of a stir. Mojo who has been watching his younger self spies a bottle of Chemical X on a shelf above Jojo.

Mojo Jojo said "Perfect!"

Narrator

Mojo pulls a small ray gun out of his jacket and aims it at the bottle. Squeezing the trigger he fires a short burst and the bottle shatters, splashing Chemical X all over Jojo. As the little monkey shrieks in surprise the chemical begins to affect him. His brain and body mutates. As this happens Mojo Jojo heads back to where the Time Portal's vortex dropped him off. As he had planned it re-appears and he steps into it. Once more tumbling through the time vortex Mojo finally falls back into the present. Getting up and shaking off the affects of the time travel Mojo Jojo makes his way back to the lab from the storage room. Stepping through the door he suddenly finds himself facing the Powerpuff Girls.

Blossom said "Mojo!"

Bubbles said "Are you all right?"

Buttercup said "You look like you've been through the ringer."

Mojo Jojo said "Huh, I uh..."

The girls take his arms and lead him upstairs.

Blossom said "You need to relax."

Bubbles said "Yes, you've been too working hard."

Buttercup said "You do enough around here being our Dad."

Mojo Jojo said "Dad?!"

When they enter the living room it looks different to him. It reflects his taste in furniture which he had in his lair. The girls sit him in an easy chair, put up his feet on a footstool and bring him a glass of banana juice.

Blossom said "There, if you need anything just ask."

Bubbles said "You take it easy while we finish cleaning the house."

Mojo Jojo said "Dad?"

Buttercup said "You're silly, why do you keep repeating that?"

Mojo Jojo said "Uh, I am not used to being called Dad."

Blossom said "You definitely have been working too hard. You have always been our Dad since you created us in your lab."

Mojo Jojo said "I did?"

Bubbles said "Sure you did, don't you remember?"

Mojo Jojo said "I uh..."

Buttercup said oh brother "It's the same story everybody knows. You were working on the formula for creating the perfect little girl. Sugar, spice and everything nice, then you accidently added Chemical X and created us, the Powerpuff Girls."

Mojo Jojo said "Oh yes, that is correct."

Blossom said "And we go out and save the day with our super powers, protecting the citizens of Townsville who are all grateful to you for creating us."

Mojo Jojo said "Yes, as they should be."

Then the hotline buzzes and Blossom quickly answers it.

Blossom said "Powerpuff Girls' hotline, Blossom speaking. Yes Mayor, he's at it again? We'll get right on it." When she puts down the phone she has a look of anger on her face.

Buttercup said "Let me guess, HE'S causing trouble!"

Bubbles said "Again? He never gives up."

Blossom said "He tries and he tries but his schemes always blow up in his face."

Buttercup said "And we're the one to do the blowing up."

Mojo Jojo said "Excuse me, who are you talking about?"

Blossom said "Why that mad scientist Professor Utonium."

Mojo Jojo said "Professor Utonium!"

Bubbles said "Yeah, that evil meanie. He's always trying to find a way to destroy us and take over the world."

Buttercup - "Don't you remember? He was your lab assistant before you created us."

Blossom said "When you made us he somehow got disgruntled over being shown up by your genius so he turned bad. Now he launches attacks against the people of Townsville from his volcano-top lair."

Buttercup said "What are we waiting for? Let's go pay him a visit and kick his booty."

Blossom said "Let's roll!"

Narrator As the Powerpuff Girls zoom out the front door Mojo sits there stunned from what he has heard.

Mojo Jojo said "I cannot believe it. I have changed history. I am in the Professor's place and he is in mine. I am now the father of the Powerpuff Girls. "Standing up he shouts to the ceiling.

Mojo Jojo said "YES, NOW WE WILL SEE HOW FATE TREATS ME NOW! BU-WAH HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

Narrator In his volcano top lair, that mad scientist, Professor Utonium once again attacks the good people of Townsville by firing a ray cannon at the city. He is blasting holes in the buildings nearby making the occupants run out onto the street screaming.

Professor said "Yes, yes, ha ha ha ha ha! You are at my mercy you fools. I will make you bow down to my genius."

Suddenly the Powerpuff Girls crash through the wall of his lair.

Blossom said "Not so fast..."

Buttercup said "Professor..."

Bubbles said "Utonium!"

Professor said "Aha, so it's those Powerpuff brats come to save the day."

Blossom said "Give it up Professor! You know you can't win against good."

Buttercup said "Don't make me open up a can of whoopass on you!"

Bubbles said "Yeah, you big meanie!"

Professor said "How very noble and righteous you are. Little good it does you when you're in my trap!"

Narrator He pulls a lever and a web of energy surrounds the girls.

Buttercup said "You think this can stop me?"

Professor said "I wouldn't touch the web if I were you. It is made of Anti-X energy which will drain you of your super powers if you touch it."

Blossom said "Oh no! Be careful girls!"

Professor said "Yes, I have you in my clutches, ha ha ha ha ha!"

Buttercup said "Just wait until I get my hands on you! I'll make you laugh out of the other side of your face."

Bubbles said "Yeah, you big meanie!"

Buttercup said "Geez Bubbles, can't you come with anything more original?"

Bubbles said "What do you want me to do, hire a writer?"

Narrator Meanwhile Mojo Jojo paces the living room while he makes his plans.

Mojo Jojo said "First I must convince the Powerpuff Girls that helping me to take over the world will be a good thing. They will trust me since I am their father."

Then the hotline buzzes and Mojo reluctantly answers it.

Mojo Jojo said "What is it? I am in the middle of my important plans."

Mayor said "Mojo Jojo, you got to help us. That awful Professor Utonium has captured your girls and is threatening to destroy them if we don't obey him."

Mojo Jojo - said "WHAT?! How dare he?"

Mayor said "You must do something."

Mojo Jojo said "I will teach that fool to meddle in my affairs."

He slams the phone down and scowls.

Mojo Jojo - said "Blast it, now I must rescue the Powerpuff Girls if I am ever to succeed in taking over the world. For I cannot do it without them."

He hurries over to the garage and there parked next to the family station wagon is his flying saucer. He hops into it and zooms out toward Townsville.

Mojo Jojo said "You just wait Professor Utonium. You have yet to feel the wrath of MOJO JOJO!"

Narrator At his lair, Professor Utonium gloats over his apparent victory.

Professor Laught "Ha ha ha, the Mayor and the rest of Townsville must be sweating bullets after I had telephoned them my demands. The news should be reaching everybody by now."

Blossom said "You'll not get away with this!"

Professor laugh "Hah, no one can help you now that you are my prisoners. If they try I will destroy you with but a flick of a switch."

Bubbles said "Daddy will rescue us!"

Buttercup said "Yeah, Mojo Jojo will visit a world of hurt on you!"

Professor said "Hah! That retarded simian. His intelligence is the result of the same Chemical X that gives you your powers. I can easily deal with him."

Blossom said "Why are you so evil?"

Professor said "Why? Because all my life I have searched to create the perfect little girl. With sugar and spice and everything nice I wanted to make something wonderful. But that upstart Mojo Jojo stole my formula when he used Chemical X to create you. My Chemical X!"

Blossom said "Wait a minute, you mean if you had used your Chemical X in the formula you would have been our father?"

Professor said "Yes, yes, I would have been the one to create you. I would have cared for you and nurtured you. Sent you off to school, nursed your injuries."

Buttercup said "This is weird. An evil mad scientist being our dad."

Bubbles said "How could such a big meanie as you become our Daddy?"

Professor said "I don't mean to be evil, I was driven mad by the thought of all my life's work being stolen by that Mojo Jojo."

Blossom said "Something doesn't feel right here. The thought of you being our father doesn't sound so strange now come to think of it."

Bubbles said "I'm confused!"

Buttercup said "Yeah, I'm think everything is all mixed up somehow."

Professor said "I'm sorry, I guess I went too far over the edge. Maybe it is best if I let you girls go. Carry on protecting the city and saving the day. I should just give myself up and let my madness languish in some jail cell."

Narrator He presses a button and the energy web disappears. The Professor slumps into a chair and looks like he wants to crawl into a corner and waste away. The girls float up to the man and stare at him with sympathetic eyes.

Blossom said "Don't be sad. I can see you have the potential to be a great scientist. Look at all your inventions."

Professor said "They are inventions of destruction. My madness compelled me to make them. I really wanted to create good things."

Bubbles said "You can, we can help you."

Professor said "But..."

Buttercup said "Everyone has some good inside, even you."

Narrator Suddenly there is an explosion and Mojo Jojo flies through a hole he made in the lair's dome with his saucer.

Mojo Jojo said "Aha, I have you now Professor Utonium! Release the Powerpuff Girls!"

Professor said "Don't worry Mojo, I give up. The girls are free to go."

Mojo Jojo said "What?"

Blossom said "It's true Mojo, he has seen the error of his ways."

Mojo Jojo said "Very well then, I don't have to worry about him ruining my plans anymore. Now you girls can help me."

Buttercup said "To do what?"

Mojo Jojo said "In taking over the world! Bu-wah ha ha ha ha ha!"

Blossom said "WHAT?"

Mojo Jojo said "With your powers I can become supreme ruler of this world."

Bubbles - said "Why do we want to help you to do that?"

Mojo Jojo said "These foolish humans don't need their independent thought or freedoms. Under my rules their lives will be much simpler. And you will do it because I am your father!"

Buttercup said "Help you enslave the Earth. I don't think so."

Mojo Jojo said "You disobedient brat. You will do as I say or you will be punished."

Blossom said "A true father who loves us would not punish us for wanting to do the right thing."

Mojo Jojo said "You will obey me!"

Bubbles said "Even if you are our father we will not help you make slaves of good people."

Enraged, Mojo Jojo backhands Bubbles across the face making her cry.

Mojo Jojo said "Just for that no supper for you tonight!"

Professor said "How can you be so cruel to such sweet girls? They are your own creations."

Mojo Jojo said oh "Shut up you, or I'll have the girls destroy you!"

Buttercup said "No, we don't kill people for any reason."

Mojo Jojo said "I am going to spank you until your butt is raw! Now will do as I say and use your powers at my bidding!"

Blossom said "We will never use our powers for doing evil." She is standing at the control panel of the Professor's machine and turns it on. An energy beam shines on her and her sisters.

Mojo Jojo said "What are you doing you little fool?!"

Blossom - said "I have used the Professor's Anti-X ray to remove our powers. Now we are just normal little girls and you can't use us anymore to enslave the Earth." Then she turns the ray on Mojo Jojo.

Mojo Jojo said "NO! What are you doing?!"

Blossom said "I am removing your Chemical X powers as well."

Mojo Jojo said "NO! I will lose my intelligence and become a normal monkey once again."

Blossom said "It will be for the best, for all of us."

Mojo feels his body begin to revert to what it once was.

Mojo Jojo said "No, it cannot end this way. Professor Utonium, you must know the truth. You are truly the creator of the Powerpuff Girls."

Professor said "What?"

Mojo Jojo said "I used your Time Portal to change history. I am really in your place and you are in mine. You must hurry and stop me from changing the past or I will never...ook ook eeek." And there what was once Mojo Jojo, evil simian genius, is now just a simple monkey.

Bubbles said "Oh how cute, can we keep him."

Blossom said "Professor, is it true what he said? Are you really our father?"

Professor said "It makes sense, I was supposed to create you and he ended up being your enemy. There is one way to find out."

Buttercup said "Great, let's fly!"

Blossom said "You're forgetting Buttercup. We don't have our powers anymore."

Buttercup said "Oh yeah, I hope someone remembered to bring cab fare."

Narrator Back at what was once the Utonium home they find the Time Portal in the storage room by the lab.

Professor said "Yes, this does look like something I would create."

Blossom said "Can you use it to change the past to the way it was?"

Professor said "I can certainly try."

Bubbles said "Ow, Jojo! Stop pulling on my pigtails!"

Buttercup said "I can believe that scamp will turn into an evil monkey."

Narrator And sometime in the past Mojo Jojo has just arrived in the storage room from the Time Portal. He has looked out into the lab and sees himself as a monkey standing by the vat containing the perfect little girl formula. As Mojo raises his ray gun to shoot at the bottle of Chemical X on the shelf a hand reaches out from behind him and grabs the gun. Mojo turns around to see the Professor standing there.

Professor said "Not this time Mojo."

Mojo Jojo - said "WHAT?"

Suddenly they are both surrounded by the swirling colors of the time vortex and they both disappear into the time stream. Evening at the Utonium home is peaceful as the Powerpuff Girls relax with the Professor after dinner.

Buttercup - said "Mmmm, that was a good meal. I love spaghetti and meatballs. Thanks Professor."

Blossom said "Yes, thank you."

Bubbles said "I liked the garlic bread too."

Professor said "You girls are welcome. You all deserve it after the hard work you did with your chores today."

Buttercup said "I bet you it would be boring without us around and you had to cook for yourself."

Blossom said "Now what makes you say that?"

Buttercup said "Uh, I don't know. It was a crazy thought that crossed my mind."

Professor said "Well girls, I had be alone for along time trying to find a way to create you. I was lucky that Mojo Jojo made me accidently add the Chemical X to the formula of sugar, spice and everything nice."

Bubbles said "Yeah, he's like our other Daddy."

Buttercup said "And I thought I talked crazy."

Blossom said "I don't think Mojo Jojo would ever consider himself our father, even if he did help create us."

Bubbles said "Well I'm just glad we have the best Daddy in the world." She floats up and kisses the Professor on the cheek.

Buttercup said "Nothing crazy about that." She and Blossom join Bubbles

Narrator and the Professor is happy with the way life has turned out for them. And he wouldn't have it any other way.

Narrator ! So once again the day is saved, thanks to the Powerpuff Girls—
