Narrator: Sugar. Spice, and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girls, but Professor Utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction. Chemical X!

Professor: *Gets moved backwards by an explosion, but smiles when he sees what he created*

Narrator: Thus the Powerpuff Girls were born! Using their ultra super powers, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup have dedicated their lives to fighting crime, and the forces of evil.

Blossom: *Flies through the sky*

Bubbles: *Flying to the right of Blossom*

Buttercup: *Flying to the left of Blossom*

Villains: *Standing together in a red room*

Powerpuff Girls: *Getting ready to attack*

Villains: *Getting ready to attack*

They ran towards each other, but the villains were not going to win, (obviously.)

Blossom: *Punches Mojo Jojo*

Bubbles: *Punches Fuzzy Lumpkins*

Buttercup: *Kicks Him, making two teeth, and blood fly out of his mouth*

Narrator the City of Townsville where at Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, where young minds explore new worlds through the lessons of their teacher, Ms. Keane. Today she leads her students in a study of family relationships.

cut to inside the Class room

Ms. Keane said "Class, here on the display board we have a drawing of a daddy, a mommy, a son and a daughter. What would the brother of either parent be to their kids?"

Class said "An uncle!"

Ms. Keane - said "And the sister of either parent?"

Class said "An aunt!"

Ms. Keane said "And how about the father and mother of either parent to the kids?"

Class said "The grandfather and grandmother!"

Ms. Keane said "Very good. I see it is almost time for recess and since you have all done so well this morning we'll go out early."

Class said "Yay!"

Just then the Powerpuff Hotline buzzes.

Buttercup said "Rats, just when we're about to go out and have fun."

Blossom said "Duty first Buttercup."

As the rest of the kids rush out to the playground Blossom goes to answer the hotline while her sisters wait.

Blossom said "Powerpuff Girls hotline, Blossom speaking. Oh Professor, it's you!"

Professor (on the hotline)- "Blossom, the sensors on my instruments have detected a disturbance in the time-space continuum near your school. I suggest you and your sisters be on your guard in case something happens."

Blossom said "Don't worry Professor, we're on it." She then hangs up the receiver.

Buttercup said "Did the Professor want to talk to his 'pooky face' again?"

Blossom said "No Buttercup, he's over his infatuation with Ms. Keane."

Bubbles said "I wonder if he really is?"

Buttercup said "Yeah, this morning at breakfast he poured coffee on my waffles instead of syrup and didn't even know he was doing it. He's been going around like a love-sick zombie sometimes."

Bubbles said "I've noticed Ms. Keane doing that too. Right in the middle of teaching us new words this morning she wrote the word 'love' on the chalkboard, stopped, and then erased it."

Blossom said "Okay, so it's taking some time for those two to get over their breakup, but right now we got a possible situation. Follow me and I'll tell you about it."

When they zoom out of the schoolhouse, Ms. Keane, who has been watching over the kids in the playground glances over at the Powerpuff Girls as they fly off.

Ms. Keane said "I wonder how their father is doing? Wait, I must be crazy, why should I care about what happens to that man?"

Then she looks at the yard full of happy children.

Ms. Keane said "I don't need the Professor to make my life complete. I have all these kids..." She suddenly grows sad.

Ms. Keane said "But none of them are my own..."

Narrator Meanwhile the Powerpuff Girls patrol the skies over Pokey Oaks for the trouble the Professor detected.

Bubbles said "What are we looking for, Blossom?"

Blossom said "Something out of the ordinary."

Buttercup said "You mean like that?"

They look to where Buttercup is pointing to and see a swirling vortex of glowing mists in the middle of the sky. Suddenly a silvery missile comes flying out of the vortex toward them.

Blossom said "Stop it, it's heading for Pokey Oaks!" All three Powerpuff Girls catch the speeding rocket in mid-flight.

Buttercup said "Let's get rid of it before it explodes!"

Blossom said "No wait!" She puts her ear to the side of the projectile.

Bubbles said "Is it ticking?"

Blossom said "No, I hear a heartbeat, there's someone inside of this thing."

Buttercup said "What?"

Blossom said "Use your X-ray vision to look inside."

Bubbles said "You're right, there's a little boy in here!"

Buttercup said "What's he doing inside that thing and where did he come from?"

Suddenly a ball of fire zips by them almost singing one of Bubbles' pigtails.

Bubbles yelled "AH! What?"

Blossom said "Look out, here comes some more!"

Narrator They dodge several fireballs which seem to come from out of nowhere. Blossom takes a quick breath of air and blows her ice breath on one of them. Frozen in mid-air they can see it is a ninja throwing star.

Blossom said "A flaming shuriken!"

Bubbles said "Where are they coming from?"

Buttercup said "Probably from him!"

They turn to see a black figure floating in front of the vortex. It resembles a person covered in black metal with a mask. He also has monkey ears and tail. It is a NINJA MONKEY!

The creature raises his hand showing a star in his fingers. He flicks it toward the Powerpuff Girls with inhuman speed. In mid-flight the spinning steel blade ignites and becomes a lethal flying disc of fire! Buttercup zips into its way and hits it with her fist shattering it into many smoldering pieces.

Buttercup - said "Is that the best you got, weirdo?" Then another ninja monkey flies out of the vortex. And another.

Bubbles said "We're going to have our hands full."

Blossom said "I bet they're after the kid inside the rocket."

Buttercup said "They sure don't look like they want to play nice."

Blossom said "Bubbles, you take the rocket with the kid home and protect it. Buttercup and I will take care of these goons."

Bubbles said "Okay, be careful!"

Narrator As Bubbles takes the rocket and flies off, Blossom and Buttercup face the strange threat. The ninja monkeys, with a flourish and a sound of steel being unsheathe, display a long sword in each hand.

Buttercup said "Bring it on, monkey faces!"

Narrator With an unearthly scream the creatures pounce upon the two Powerpuff Girls. Blossom and Buttercup charge the enemy and then split up to take them on, one on one, despite being outnumbered.

Buttercup dodges the slashing blades of two of the ninja monkeys while Blossom parries with the third. Deciding to even the odds

Blossom sidesteps a sword thrust and grabs the blade. She sends a bolt of energy down the sword to the ninja holding it. The crackle of electricity lights up the sky as the ninja is disabled and falls to the ground. When Blossom turns to help Buttercup she sees her sister has the situation under control. Buttercup has grabbed one the ninja monkeys by the tail and is slamming it against the other one. Stunned, the two injured ninjas retreat and disappear into the vortex before it vanishes.

Buttercup said "What a couple of cream puffs!"

Blossom said "Come on, let's check on the one I knocked out." They fly down to where the ninja monkey fell in the street. It is motionless as they carefully approach it.

Buttercup said "Where did these creeps come from, some bad samurai movie?"

Blossom said "We'll see when we unmask this one." But when she pulls off the mask covering the ninja monkey's face all she finds underneath is a tangle of wires, circuits and servo-mechanisms.

Blossom said "It's a machine! A robot!"

Buttercup said "Weird!"

Narrator Suddenly the robot ninja sputters and shudders.

Buttercup yelled "LOOK OUT, BLOSSOM!" She tackles Blossom out of the way as the robot explodes.

Blossom said "Thanks, looks like he had a self-destruct."

Buttercup said "Not much left of him now."

Blossom said "We might get some answers from the boy inside the rocket. Come on, let's go home."

Narrator Meanwhile, Bubbles has taken the rocket to their home and the Professor looks over the thing in the backyard.

Professor said "You say this came out that vortex and there is someone inside it?"

Bubbles said "Yes, a little boy. Oh hurry and get him out."

Professor said "Be patient, I think I can figure out this electronic lock on it."

He is examining a panel with buttons on the side of the rocket when Blossom and Buttercup arrive.

Bubbles said "Did you two get rid of those weird meanies?"

Buttercup said "Yup, they were pushovers."

Blossom said "Two got away but we took down a third. He turned out to be a robot ninja."

Professor said "Why didn't you bring him?'

Blossom said "He self-destructed but I did take this mask off him." She hands the mask-like metal plate to him.

Professor said "Hmm, very interesting."

Bubbles said "Professor, the rocket!"

Professor said "Oh yes, I think this lock requires pushing these buttons in a certain sequence."

Narrator As he touches the buttons a series of tones is heard. Then a click and a panel on the rocket opens. They all gaze inside and see a little boy looking like he is sleeping. He appears to be around two years old and has dark hair. He is clothed in a simple silver jump suit. The Professor picks him up and cradles the sleeping boy in his arms.

Blossom said "Wow, how did you know the right combination the first time?"

Professor said "Just lucky I guess. This little boy is alive and in a deep sleep."

Buttercup said "What do we do with him?"

Blossom said "Whoever those ninjas were they wanted to get their hands on this boy."

Professor said "Until we get more answers to our questions you girls will have to protect him. I can study this rocket to figure out where it came from. This is probably some sort of survival capsule."

Blossom said "Okay Professor. Let's put him in our bed so we can watch him."

Professor said "Buttercup, carry the rocket to the lab for me."

Buttercup said "No sweat, Professor." As she lugs the heavy rocket to the Professor's lab, he carries the sleeping boy up to the girls' bedroom and puts him in their bed.

Professor said "Watch over him and let me know if he wakes up."

Blossom said "Okay Professor."

As he leaves Blossom joins Bubbles on the bed who sits next to the boy and looks at him.

Bubbles said "Isn't he cute?"

Blossom said "He looks familiar."

Bubbles said "Do you think those evil things will be back?"

Blossom said "It's very possible. They were probably easy to defeat because they weren't expecting to come up against us. So maybe next time they may be tougher."

Narrator Down in the lab Buttercup sets the rocket down on one of the Professor's workbenches as he watches.

Professor said "Thank you Buttercup, you can join your sisters in guarding the boy."

Buttercup said "If those robot ninja monkeys come back I'll just whup their mechanical booties!"

Professor said "I'm sure you will." When he is alone with the rocket he closely looks it over.

Professor said "Interesting, the technology doesn't look alien. In fact it reminds me of something I would build. Some of the metals look exotic though."

Narrator Suddenly he is startled by a mark on one of the panels inside the rocket. He goes over to another workbench and picks up a device he has been working on recently. Bringing it over he holds the device close to the panel and compares his own mark he had etched on it with the one inside the rocket.

Professor said "That's impossible, this is the same mark I use to identify my inventions. How can someone else have copied it. I certainly don't remember making this capsule. Unless.."

Upstairs, as Blossom and Bubbles watch over the sleeping little boy, Buttercup shadowboxes.

Buttercup said "Ha! Heeyah! Just wait until I meet those ninjas again. I'll turn them into a pile of recyclables."

Blossom said "You're going to have to be more prepared than that, Buttercup. Next time they may be ready for us."

Bubbles said "What is a ninja, Blossom?"

Blossom said "A ninja is from an ancient warrior clan in Japan. Though nowadays it could mean an assassin who uses stealth."

Bubbles said "Why do you think they want to hurt this little boy?"

Buttercup said "Hey, he's waking up." They can see the boy moving and his eyes beginning to open.

Blossom said "Now maybe we can get some answers. Buttercup, go get the Professor."

Buttercup said "Right!"

When the boy's eyes fully open Bubbles and Blossom can see his irises are a deep blue. He looks around apprehensively.

Blossom said "Don't be scared, you're safe with us." The little boy sits up and looks at them with some amount of trust in his eyes.

Bubbles said "You're in our home, in our room."

Blossom said "Can you talk?"

The little boy looks at Blossom and nods his head.

Boy said "Goo, gah mah."

Bubbles said "Baby talk, that's so cute."

Blossom said "It doesn't help us if that is all he can say."

Bubbles said "What's your name?"

Boy said "Naim..."

Bubbles said "My name is Bubbles, and your name is..." She points to herself and then to the boy.

Boy said "Coh-dee, Cody..."

Bubbles said "Cody, that's a cute name."

Blossom said "Well he understands some words."

Then the Professor walks in followed by Buttercup.

Professor said "Has he said anything?"

Blossom said "Not much but I think we know his name."

When the little boy sees the Professor he jumps up and down on the bed excitedly.

Boy said "Dada, dada, dada!"

Bubbles said "How cute, he thinks you're his daddy, Professor."

The boy stretches his arms out wanting to be picked up by the man.

Boy said "Dada, dada, dada!"

Professor said "Very well little guy." When he picks up the boy the child wraps his arms around the Professor's neck and hugs him.

Buttercup said "He sure acts like he knows you."

Professor said "Well at his age many little kids think any adult could be their parent. He certainly is a fine-looking little fellow."

Blossom said "Did you find out anything about the rocket?"

Professor said "I'm going to have to study it more but it is from this planet and not alien. Though some of the technology in it is pretty advanced."

Bubbles said "What are we going to do with Cody?"

Professor said "Cody?"

Blossom said "That's what he says his name is."

The little boy points at himself and then at the Professor.

Boy - said "Cody...Dada." Then he points at Bubbles.

Boy said "Buhboo."

Buttercup laugh "Har har har, what he called you!"

Bubbles sticks her tongue out at her sister.

Professor said "Well it looks like you can form words but it will take some time to teach you to communicate. But at your age you may not understand what has been happening to you anyway."

Blossom said "Looks like we'll have to wait until the answers come to us."

Bubbles said "How can you be so sure."

Blossom said "If those robot ninjas are any indication I can bet my hair bow on it."

Buttercup said "Well we'll be ready for whatever comes."

Professor said "Until then this little guy is our guest, so we'll have to keep him safe and make him comfortable."

Buttercup said "If he sleeps in our bed I hope he doesn't snore like Bubbles."

Bubbles said "You big doo-doo head!"

Boy said "Doo-doo haid!"

Blossom said "He's got you pegged, Buttercup."

Buttercup (crossing her arms) said "Ah, sassafras to all of you!" The others laugh and the little boy giggles.

Narrator Meanwhile Ms. Keane is driving back home from school.

Ms. Keane said "Let's see, I don't need to make a stop at Maple's Market. I got enough food for Valentino and dinner for myself."

Suddenly a black figure drops out of the sky in front of her car making her swerve.

Ms. Keane said "OH MY GOODNESS!" Sharp ninja stars whirl through the air and puncture her rear tires making the car squeal out of control.

Ms. Keane yelled "WHAT'S HAPPENING!?"

Narrator Luckily for her, as she barrels off the road, her car plows into a thick hedge bringing it to a quick stop. Shaken by the crash she stumbles out of her car. She is suddenly facing a ninja monkey wielding a very sharp sword. Ms. Keane bravely picks up a stick to defend herself.

Ms. Keane said "Who are you? Stay away!" As the ninja makes a motion to cut her with the sword, Ms. Keane closes her eyes and winces,

but then hears a crash. Opening her eyes she sees Buttercup has knocked down the ninja and taken the sword away, snapping it in half over her knee.

Buttercup said "And stay down you sucker'!"

Bubbles and Blossom are quickly at her side.

Bubbles said "Ms. Keane, are you all right?"

Ms. Keane said "Yes, I'll be fine. How did you know to come to my rescue so quickly?"

Blossom said "The Professor detected the time vortex when it appeared."

Ms. Keane said "Time vortex?"

Blossom points above their heads. Ms. Keane looks up and sees a swirling cloud of colors and flashes of electricity. Then the vortex shrinks and finally disappears.

Blossom said "Looks like only one came through this time."

Bubbles said "But why was it after Ms. Keane?"

Suddenly they hear an explosion and they turn to see Buttercup standing there all black and sooty.

Buttercup said "Rats, I forgot these things self-destruct."

Blossom said "You should have stayed away from it after you took it down."

Buttercup said "But I wanted to get a souvenir." She holds up a ninja star.

Ms. Keane said "Thank you for saving my life girls but it looks like I'll have to call a tow truck to move my car. I'll just get a taxi home and..."

Blossom said "No Ms. Keane! This robot ninja didn't attack you at random. He had you targeted for some reason. You would be safer at our house where we can protect you along with Cody."

Ms. Keane said "Cody?"

Bubbles said "He's a little boy we rescued from those ninjas, he's cute. Wait until you meet him."

Blossom said "You better come with us Ms. Keane. You can call for a tow truck from our house."

Ms. Keane said "Very well, if you think it's safer." Blossom and Bubbles grab onto Ms. Keane's arms and lift her into the sky followed by a very dirty Buttercup. Soon they get to the Utonium residence

where they set Ms. Keane down on the front step. When they enter the living room they find the Professor on the sofa holding Cody in his arms.

Professor said "Ms. Keane!?"

Blossom said "One of those ninja assassins was after her."

Professor said "Are you all right?"

Ms. Keane said "Yes, I'm quite fine thanks to your girls. Who is this little boy?" Cody sees Ms. Keane and his big blue eyes seem to light up as his hands reach out for the woman.

Cody said "Mama, mama, mama, mama, mama!"

Professor said "He seems to know you."

Ms. Keane said "I've never seen him before." Cody is so insistent to reach Ms. Keane the Professor hands him to her.

Professor said "He does want to be with you." They all see the little boy hug Ms. Keane tight.

Cody said "Mama!"

Ms. Keane said "Oh you're a precious little boy. But I'm not your Mama."

Cody said "Mama, mama!"

Bubbles said "You know he does look a bit like you."

Ms. Keane said "Don't be silly, we can't be related. I don't have any relatives with a boy this young." Then the boy points to the Professor.

Cody said "Dada!"

Professor said "He certainly is a confused little tyke."

Ms. Keane said "Do you know who he belongs to?"

Professor said "Not a clue so far, but he does have something to do with those robot ninjas one of which attacked you."

Blossom said "It sure is a big mystery. I'm sure the answer will hit us over the head eventually."

Narrator Suddenly there is an explosion and the front door is splintered into many pieces. When the smoke clears standing there are at least six robot ninja monkeys. All brandishing sharp gleaming swords.

Buttercup said "You were saying Blossom?"

Bubbles said "They're back!"

Blossom said "Professor, you and Ms. Keane take Cody to a safe place. We'll handle these assassins."

Buttercup said "Bring it on you suck's! I need a few more souvenirs!" When the Professor ushers Ms. Keane with the boy through the door of his lab he closes it behind them. Then the ninjas leap at the girls.

It is a mad melee of flying Powerpuff fists and flashes of sharp metal as they mix it up in the confines of the living room. Furniture is overturned and wrecked. Walls pierced by flying ninja stars and punches thrown by the girls.

ZING!

Blossom said "Watch it, they're tougher than last time, ACK!"

CRASH! BANG!

Buttercup said "The tougher they are the bigger sound they make when my fists hit them!

YAH!"

CRUNCH! WHAM! KA-WHOOM!

Bubbles yelled "AAAHH! Stay away you evil meanies!"

ZAP! POW! CRACK! TINKLE!

Pieces of robot ninjas fly through the air as their bodies shatter under the onslaught of the Powerpuff Girls. Soon their number is reduced to just one as Buttercup corners it. Blossom and Bubbles scan the remains of the other robots to make sure none are still functioning.

Buttercup said "Give it your best shot!" The ninja swings its sword but Buttercup slaps it out of his hand. It clatters to the floor away from them.

Buttercup said "Now I'm going to reduce you to a pile of soda cans." Suddenly the ninja produces a short blade from a hidden scabbard and there is a quick slashing noise through the air. Buttercup's scream echoes throughout the house.

Buttercup yelled "AAAAAHHHH!"

Blossom said "BUTTERCUP!"

Bubbles said "OH NO!"

Blossom and Bubbles look on in horror as Buttercup's severed arm falls to the floor. Their sister still stands holding her bleeding stump. Buttercup glares at the robot with murder in her eyes. With a shout of defiance and blinding speed Buttercup leaps up and slams her forehead on top of the robot's own head with such a force the ninja crumbles into a thousand pieces. Then Buttercup falls to her knees.
