Narrator: Sugar. Spice, and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girls, but Professor Utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction. Chemical X!

Professor: *Gets moved backwards by an explosion, but smiles when he sees what he created*

Narrator: Thus the Powerpuff Girls were born! Using their ultra super powers, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup have dedicated their lives to fighting crime, and the forces of evil.

Blossom: *Flies through the sky*

Bubbles: *Flying to the right of Blossom*

Buttercup: *Flying to the left of Blossom*

Villains: *Standing together in a red room*

Narrator the city of Townville's It is a dark and stormy night as a heavy rain pelts the round windows which look into the Powerpuff Girls' bedroom. Despite the rough weather

outside the girls sleep peacefully in their comfortable bed. Except for Buttercup who tosses and turns in restless slumber. Her face reflects a sheen of sweat as the lightning outside flashes to illuminate the room.

Suddenly the place in her bed is empty, a depression in her pillow and her empty clothes giving the only witness to her being there a moment before.

Buttercup's eyes flutter open as she feels cold water splashing on her face. In fact she feels her entire body is wet and being bombarded by water. Sitting up she finds herself naked in the middle of the front yard in the rain. She looks up at the windows of her bedroom as lightning lights up the front of her house.

Getting up she tries to fly up to the windows but finds herself unable to do so. Shivering from the cold rain soaking her skin and feeling powerless she staggers to the front door and rings the doorbell. Then she pounds and kicks on the door hoping to rouse anyone inside.

The Professor is almost in a deep sleep when he hears the pounding on the front door. Getting out of bed he goes downstairs as he continues to hear the knocking.

Professor said "All right, all right, I'm coming." He switches on the outside light and looks through the peep hole wondering who would be knocking on the door in the middle of the night.

He sees no one but the rain. Professor said "Who is it?"

Buttercup said "Professor, let me in!" He opens the door when he recognizes the voice.

Professor said Oh, my goodness. "Buttercup! What are you doing outside in the rain without any clothes?"

She looks up at him with sad eyes and shivering from the cold rain.

Buttercup said "I don't know and I lost my powers!"

Professor said "You lost your powers?" He picks her up in his arms and quickly carries her upstairs. After running a hot bath he puts Buttercup's trembling body in the warm water.

While she soaks and warms up the Professor gets his portable energy scanner.

Professor said "Hmmm, you have lost about eighty percent of your Chemical X energy level but it is slowly coming back. What were you doing naked and outside in the first place?"

Buttercup said "I don't know, I was in my warm bed next to Bubbles. And the next minute I know I was lying on the wet grass in the rain in the buff."

The Professor dries off Buttercup and dresses her in bed clothes again.

Professor - said "Maybe you walked in your sleep and took off your clothes while doing it. I'll look into it tomorrow when I give you a medical examination after school. For now just go back to sleep and don't worry about it."

He carries her back to bed and tucks her in. After kissing her on the forehead he turns off the light and closes the door. Buttercup quickly goes back to sleep thinking what has just happened to her may have been a bad dream.

Morning comes and the storm has passed. The Professor enters the girls' room to get them up for school. He notices Buttercup still where he left her last night.

Professor Said "Girls, time to get up and get ready for school." One by one the girls awaken and yawn.

Professor said "I see the storm last night didn't keep you from sleeping well."

Blossom said Aw, a little rain storm doesn't bother me."

Bubbles said "Rain is good for the flowers and the froggies."

Professor said "How are you feeling Buttercup?"

Buttercup said "Okay, I guess."

Professor said "No more sleepwalking?"

Blossom said "Buttercup was sleepwalking last night?"

Professor said "Well it was strange that Buttercup was outside in the rain without any clothes on last night. Isn't that right Buttercup?" When he turns to look at her she is not there next to Bubbles. Only her nightie and underwear are left.

Professor said "Where did she go?"

Bubbles said "She probably went to the bathroom."

Blossom said "Naked?"

But when the Professor steps out into the hall he sees the bathroom door open and the room itself is empty.

Professor said "That's odd."

Then he hears a knocking at the back door. He goes downstairs followed by Blossom and Bubbles. When the Professor opens the door they see Buttercup standing there in the nude.

Professor said "What are you doing out here without any clothes? Why can't you let yourself in?"

Blossom said "Is this some sort of joke Buttercup?"

Buttercup said "NO! I was sitting next to Bubbles and next thing I know I'm sitting out here naked. And I don't have my powers again. Is there something wrong with me?"

Professor said "Let me take you to the lab and check you out." After getting her dressed the Professor takes Buttercup down to the medical room portion of the Professor's lab where he runs a battery of tests on her.

Professor said "Your energy level is coming back. You should be back to normal in a few minutes. What do you feel when this strange thing happens to you?

Buttercup said "Well I feel a little warm and tingly. Then I sort of black out for a second and I'm somewhere else."

Blossom said "What is wrong with her Professor?"

Professor said "I'm not sure, I've never encountered anything like this before." He looks at his scanner again and the readouts suddenly surprise him.

Professor said "That's odd, these readings have just started fluctuating."

Buttercup said "Is it warm in here or is it just me."

They are all looking at Buttercup sitting up in the hospital bed when she wipes her hand across her sweaty forehead. Then right before their very eyes Buttercup disappears except for her dress.

Blossom said "Buttercup!"

Bubbles said "What happened to her?"

Professor said "Oh my gosh!"

Blossom said "Did she disintegrate?"

Bubbles said "Oh no, poor Buttercup, SOB!"

Professor said "My poor little girl..."

Buttercup said "I'm right over here."

They all turn to see Buttercup standing behind them in just her underwear.

Blossom said "Buttercup? What? How?"

Buttercup said wryly) "Never at a loss for words, Leader Girl?"

The Professor goes over and picks up Buttercup.

Professor said "Buttercup, are you feeling all right? For a minute there I thought you..."

Buttercup said "I'm okay, just feeling a little confused."

Bubbles said "I'm a lot confused. Buttercup was over here and then she is over there except for her dress."

Professor said "Wait a minute, I think I know what is happening here. Buttercup must be manifesting a new power. You are experiencing the ability to instantly teleport."

Blossom said "Teleport? You mean like in going from one place to another just like that?"

Professor said "Yes, look at these readings on my instruments. Buttercup's energy level jumped to a high level just before she teleported."

Buttercup said "But why do I loose my powers after I do? And how come my clothes don't go with me?"

Professor said "It could be the sudden release of energy when you teleport results in you losing some of that energy. It takes a while to reenergize. And maybe your teleport power has to be stronger to have your clothes teleport as well. At least this time you still have your underwear on." He points his scanner at Buttercup.

Professor said "It does look like you are getting your energy back to normal faster each time it happens."

Buttercup said "Great, now I have to learn how to control this new power."

Bubbles said "Especially if you want to avoid the embarrassment of popping up some where else naked."

Buttercup said "Can I go to school like this?"

Professor said "You seem to be stabilizing. There should not be any further problems. When you get back from school we can study your power in the simulator grid. I'm going to reconfigure it to make analytical scans while you are in it."

Bubbles said "Don't worry Buttercup. You can carry spare clothes in case you pop out of the ones you are in."

Buttercup said (rolling her eyes) "Great!"

Narrator By the time they are ready to go to school Buttercup has regained her powers and flies with her sisters as she has always done. When they get to Pokey Oaks Kindergarten they have almost forgotten about Buttercup's new ability. The day seems to go by normally and Buttercup is her usual cantankerous self.

Ms. Keane said "Buttercup, would like to come up to the chalkboard and solve the math problem up there?"

Buttercup said "Uh, sure Ms. Keane." She walks up to the front and picks up the chalk. She looks at the simple addition problem and quickly figures it out. Just when she is touching the chalk to the board she disappears and the chalk falls to the floor.

Ms. Keane said "Oh my, what happened? Where did she go?"

Blossom said "Oh gosh! Ms. Keane, Buttercup is experiencing this new power where she can teleport."

Bubbles said "But she doesn't know how to control it yet. At least all her clothes went with her this time."

Ms. Keane said "Where did she teleport to?"

Suddenly they all hear a crashing noise in the broom closet. The door flies open and Buttercup falls out with a bucket on her head and tangled in the broom and mop.

Ms. Keane said "My goodness Buttercup!" She pulls the bucket off Buttercup's head who groans in pain.

Buttercup said "Ow, I got a bump on my head." Ms. Keane feels Buttercup's head.

Ms. Keane said "You certainly do, I thought you girls were invulnerable to small injuries like that?"

Buttercup said normally we are but "I lose my powers temporarily when I teleport. Ow!"

Ms. Keane said "Blossom, help Buttercup back to her seat. Bubbles, get her an ice pack for her bump from the little fridge in my office. I'll straighten up the broom closet."

Buttercup said "I'm sorry about this mess."

Blossom said "It's okay, Buttercup. It can't be helped."

Buttercup said "Good thing I didn't pop out of my clothes this time."

At recess all the kids are playing in the school yard. All except for Buttercup who stays indoors and sits at her table brooding. Ms. Keane comes back inside to find her.

Ms. Keane said "Buttercup, why aren't you outside playing?"

Buttercup said "Ah, I don't feel like playing. I'm bothered by this new power of mine."

Ms. Keane puts her hand on Buttercup's shoulder.

Ms. Keane said "Honey, don't worry about it. You are growing up and new powers will show up as you do. As you grow you will gain experience and skill to control what you have. Make the most of it and let things happen naturally."

Buttercup said "Yeah, you're right. Thanks Ms. Keane." She stands up and looks outside at all the kids playing.

Buttercup said "Boy, it sure looks nice outside." Then suddenly she is gone in an instant.

Ms. Keane said "Buttercup! Oh my!" She runs outside and finds her standing by the swings.

Ms. Keane said "Buttercup, are you all right?"

Buttercup said "Now I get it! I just have to think about being somewhere and poof! I'm there! And my clothes are staying on me."

Ms. Keane said "You think you finally have control of it?"

Buttercup said "Let me see."

Narrator Poof! Buttercup finds herself standing on the roof of the schoolhouse. Poof! She suddenly appears behind Bubbles who is playing in the sand box. Buttercup tugs on her pigtail and disappears. Poof!

Bubbles said "Hey, who did that?" Buttercup appears balancing at the top of the flag pole.

Buttercup said "Ah ha ha ha! This is so cool." Blossom flies up next to her.

Blossom said "So big deal. I can fly just as fast as you can teleport so your new power doesn't have much real use."

Buttercup said "Oh yeah, you just wait and see Miss Bossy Pants. Besides, you don't use your ice breath all the time."

Suddenly they hear the hotline buzzing. All the Powerpuff Girls rush into the schoolhouse where Blossom answers it.

Blossom said "Powerpuff Girls hotline, Blossom speaking. What's that Mayor? A guard got locked into the vault at Townsville First National Bank? We're on it."

She slams down the receiver and turns to her sisters.

Bubbles - said "Can I say it Blossom, can I say it please?"

Blossom said "Oh all right, just this once."

Bubbles - said "Let's roll!"

The Powerpuff Girls crash through the ceiling and zoom toward Townsville while Ms. Keane calls a building contractor on her speed dial. Getting to the bank the Powerpuff Girls see a crowd gathered around the vault.

Blossom said "Okay, what's the situation?"

Bank Manager said "The time lock malfunctioned and a bank guard was locked in. She doesn't have much air left since the ventilation system also failed."

Blossom said "Stand back, we'll break the vault door down. Buttercup, do your stuff!"

Buttercup said (shaking her head) "Nah ah."

Blossom said "Huh, why not?"

Buttercup said "Look at the plaque on the door. It says the vault is made of titanium. It would take me too long to break through that."

Blossom said "Geez, you're right. What can we do?"

Buttercup said "Let me try something." She walks up to the vault door and touches it with her hands. Poof! She is gone.

Narrator Inside the vault Buttercup finds herself in a dimly lit room with very little air. She sees a female guard passed out on the floor. Buttercup picks up the guard and concentrates her thoughts.

Buttercup said "I hope this works."

Narrator She concentrates so hard sweat beads up on her forehead, then... Poof! Suddenly Buttercup appears outside the vault with the guard. Everyone cheers when they see them.

Blossom said "Buttercup, you did it!"

Bubbles said "Yay, Buttercup!"

Buttercup said "I figured if I can teleport my clothes with me I can also do it with someone I'm holding on to. Whew, but it was an effort."

Narrato0r As the guard is being revived by the paramedics the girls fly back to school.

Blossom - said "Good going Buttercup. I'll have to admit that is going to be a useful power."

Bubbles giggle "Hee hee hee, you'll be able to sneak into movies without paying admission."

Blossom said "Bubbles! Don't give her ideas."

When they get to school recess is almost over.

Ms. Keane said "How did things go girls?"

Bubbles said "It was great. Buttercup got full control of her power and used it to save the day."

Buttercup said "Ah, it was nothing, it was simply mind over matter." Poof! Buttercup disappears but all her clothes are still there. Then

Buttercup pokes her head out from some bushes nearby.

Buttercup said (blushing) "I guess I still need some practice. Could you bring me my clothes Bubbles?"

Blossom giggle "Hee hee hee, oh Buttercup."
