Naruto's Christmas Wish

"I wish they were my family." Those were the words uttered by Naruto on Christmas Eve, thinking about both Tsunade and Shizune. However, what he didn't expect was for that wish to come true, in a more literal sense by a being of great power.

NOTE - This is basically the same premise as 'Harry's New Mommies', however, it is for Naruto instead, and of course, it contains Tsunade and Shizune, being the new 'Mommy' and 'Sister' respectively.

This will contain; Age Regression! This will occur to all present, Tsunade will become younger, Shizune will go from 28 [canon age], all the way back to 10-13 years of age, basically, when puberty had begun, or just before. Naruto, will go from 12-13 year old, all the way back down to maybe maybe 3-5 in that age range!

They WILL forget memories, so Shizune, now being 10-13, will NOT remember anything from when she was younger. Same with Naruto, so he will NOT remember that he is a Jinchuriki, and he will forget all the painful memories growing up.

Sorry if that is not your thing, but I wanted this to happen.

Chapter 1 - The Wish

Naruto sighed to himself as he looked out of one of the many, dirty, cracked windows of his rundown apartment. He watched on, his heart twinging in sadness, yet also spiking in jealousy as he over looked the people down below, playing in the heavy snow that fell earlier on during the day – a rarity, as it didn't snow much in the Land of Fire – and as he watched the children laughing, smiling and just having a good time with their parents as they threw snowballs at each other, or perhaps built snowmen off to the side, it did cause him to feel saddened.

He never got to experience joy like that. Not when he was so isolated from everyone else, and treated like he was a piece of dirt that was stuck to the bottom of someone's shoe.

For as long as he could remember, people had hated him. It didn't matter if they were children younger than him, children his age, adults, or even the elderly.

They always looked at him with this fear in their eyes, and sometimes, they even pretended like he wasn't there at all. And, all of the built-up mental torture took its toll on him, and it was even worse when they actively scowled at him, or purposefully moved away when he walked by.

And, it was one of the many reasons why Naruto didn't like Christmas time. The sheer amount of joy and happiness nearly made Naruto sick.

Sure, it might be a little selfish to be like that, however, the fact that nearly everybody else experienced the joy, and wonder of receiving gifts from Santa – although, the belief that Naruto had in Santa was lowering each and every year – and from their parents was something he just didn't want to see.

Not whilst he received nothing. Only the feeling of loneliness and sorrow.

Shaking his head from those thoughts, Naruto tore his attention away from the window, lest his heart hammer in his chest even more, he looked at the slightly off-centered table in the dining room, and as he looked towards it, he couldn't help but smile softly.

Because, there was a photo-frame on it, and seeing the picture inside, it just warmed his heart up.

The photo was of him, Shizune, and Tsunade, the people he felt truly closest with in life. Shizune was gently holding onto his hand, smiling at him like a sister would with their siblings, and there was a hint of mischievousness in her eyes, as unseen to him in the frame, there was a massive bucket of water that would fall on him.

However, his eyes lingered upon Tsunade, who was smiling rather awkwardly as she rested her hands upon Naruto's shoulders in the picture.

And, dare he say it, Naruto loved Tsunade. Not in the romantic aspect of things, but with the more maternal side of things. She felt like a mother at times, when she scolded him for doing something wrong, and occasionally praised him if he did something good.

Even though he called her 'Granny' all the time, it was something to stop him from accidentally calling her 'Mommy'.

However, knowing that Shizune and Tsunade were out of the village currently, as they had received an urgent request for their skills in a poorer village, and thus, they were unable to spend Christmas together like they had promised to.

Sure, it hurt slightly, but Naruto knew that it was very important, especially with how much swearing that he heard coming from them, and for the fact they apologized profusely to him, and promised to make it up to him when they got back.

Tearing his gaze away from the photograph, Naruto sighed softly, shaking his head to get rid of those thoughts.

Suddenly overcome with drowsiness which wasn't there before, he yawned rather cutely as he stretched his arms out. Once that was done, he made his way towards his bedroom to rest for the night.

However, on his way there, he muttered one thing, "I wish they were my family."

It was true. Ever since he met them, and bonded with them over a period of nearly a year, Naruto had grown extremely close to them, and they had also grown close with him, and it made his heart flutter upon the possibilities of him living with them, and possibly getting adopted by them.

But, he was too scared to even ask the question, and he didn't even know how to bring it up to begin with.

However, what he didn't know, was that due to his wish being heard, his life would change... a lot, in the next coming hours.

Just outside the window that Naruto was looking out of just a few moments ago, there was suddenly a large shimmer just outside, and soon enough, the shimmer started to radiate an unearthly glow, before it finally gained more of a pronounced shape to it.

Then, with a large burst of light that disappeared after a second, there was now a woman outside the window, who had this ethereal look upon her, and just by looking at the aged woman, it was possible to tell that something wasn't quite right about her.

The aged womans skin tone was pale white, and her skin was nearly flawless, with only a few wrinkles along the forehead to show her age, and when she smiled, it was possible to see dimples upon her cheeks. She was wearing a small pair of classes that didn't properly sit upon her nose, and she could see over them if she tilted her head downwards. She had marvelous white hair that fell to her shoulders, and her piercing blue eyes were filled with sorrow at the moment. She was wearing a large red coat that had fluffy white decorations around the wrists, down the middle, and even around the collar, along with a longer red skirt that fell to her knees and was also decorated with small amount of tinsel that glittered underneath the moonlight, and to top it all off, she had a pair of wrist length gloves that looked to be made of leather.

This aged woman, was none other than Ms. Claus, the true bringer of Christmas joy, and the deliverer of gifts to all the children on her 'Good List'.

As Santa Claus was only a figment that was created by her, due to the sheer inequality between the genders in the far-past. And, from early on during her days, if people believed that 'Father Christmas' and 'Saint Nicholas' was indeed a female... then she probably wouldn't even exist today.

Sure, she could always drop the façade now that equality had slowly started to become more and more apparent, and possibly appear in front of a few, innocent children upon early Christmas morning, or late Christmas Eve, eating the cookies that they left for her, but it was too deeply ingrained within humanity that she was a male.

And, changing that would be a whole different hassle that she didn't want to worry about, or even try to do.

The reason why she was drawn to Naruto this particular Christmas Eve?

Well, it was because his soul was so... pure, and his wishes were earnest and sincere, from the very bottom of his heart, and that was something that drew her attention. And, when he wished upon the shooting star, his wish was heard to her.

And, the fact that his deepest, most sincere wish of all was to have a mother, it caused her to frown in sadness.

So, when his back was turned, she used just a hint of her power, and formed a snowflake which soon drifted around the house, before it soon tracked him down landed upon his head.

And, as soon as that snowflake melted into his hair, Ms. Claus was able to have a mental connection to Naruto, and see a few memories throughout his life.

At first, she just thought that it was some lonely orphaned child, begging for someone to love him, but as she looked further and further into his memories, then the true story began to unfold in front of her eyes.

And it was utterly disgusting to her.

The number of memories when she could feel his terrible loneliness, the number of memories that she could feel his very soul yearning out for any sort of love... but, it was all squandered due to the memories that she watched of him just being shunned away, bullied by people of all ages, and hell, even borderline abused by the adults of this village, and worst of all, the neglection that he had during his school-life, the number of times he was sabotaged, just so the so called 'teachers' could have some form of petty revenge.

It was absolutely disgusting!

Shaking her head away from those thoughts, and thus, severing the connection that Ms. Claus had with the young boy, she took a few moments to focus and to regain some form of clarity.

That was when she was able to sense something from within the boy, and oddly enough, she did sense a terrible darkness within him. And with such a pure soul harboring such foul darkness that didn't belong to them didn't sit right with her.

However, just as she was about to purge it from his very being, something suddenly made her stop that notion.

It was almost like a compulsive pull that begged her to not do what she was about to do. And, despite not knowing how, or even why she felt that way, she trusted that compulsive pull, and she lowered her hand down, back to her side, as she looked on, watching this boy walk away, his entire demeanor completely down and despondent.

Shaking her head from those thoughts, Ms. Claus suddenly snapped her finger, and a small little radiant glow suddenly enveloped the boy, just before he disappeared around the corner of the dingy, run-down apartment that was not suitable for anyone to live in.

That small, ethereal glow that was enveloping the boy like a second skin was some of her power, and it would only come true if another person – or people – were to wish something of equal value, or more. Only if the wished for another child, or perhaps wished to start a family on their own, only then would the wish be truly complete, and unite those two souls together – and possibly more.

Then, the boy's wish would finally come true.

His wish for a family.

Although, she herself could not become his mother, as much as she wanted it to happen, she felt like she was not worthy of him.

No, she would have wait until one of her copies that helped deliver the Christmas joy to others heard of a wish of the same caliber.

Then, she would grant that woman's - or man's, she could never properly know – and thus, she would make two wishes come true.

Noticing that the boy had disappeared from view completely, the only sign that he was still there was the hint of ethereal glow peeking out from underneath the door.

Although, she still waited for a few moments, before finally disappearing once more. She still had a job to do, and she still had many presents to deliver for the children in Konohagakure, and whilst she really wanted to not reward those children that bullied and tormented the boy, she would be unable to, as it was many years ago, and they still happened to be on her 'Good List'.

Shizune sighed sadly as she gently took away a nearly empty bottle of sake, and the sake saucer from Tsunade's hands. It always pained her to see her mentor, and mother-figure like this, and this bout of drinking had been spurred on by something different than her usual need for drinking.

This bout of depression drinking was due to the fact that Tsunade was in a lot of mental pain, and that was mostly due to the fact that Tsunade broke her promise – and so did she – about spending Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day with Naruto.

But, things just couldn't happen that way. Not after being summoned with the utmost urgency to help treat a few patients that had extremely bad injuries that were life-threatening, but due to Tsunade's immaculate healing abilities, it was easy for her to save them.

But, it came at the cost of breaking a promise, something that Tsunade rarely did.

And, just thinking about how little Naruto – despite him being thirteen years of age, was certainly little – would be all alone, and extremely upset her was enough to make Tsunade cry, and then, to try and drown her sorrow away with alcohol.

And, to be honest, Shizune also drank a few cups of sake in sorrow as well. Just thinking about Naruto being sad made her heart twinge in pain.

The rather... eccentric blonde-haired boy had somehow managed to not only worm his way into her heart, but also the heart of her mentor. And, at times, she could tell that Tsunade was thinking about him, because unknown to Tsunade, she sometimes did mutter his name, either in her sleep, or when she was off in her daydreams.

And, being a rather nosey individual – something she hid very, very well – she had stumbled across Tsunade's diary, and unable to resist, she had a quick little skim through the most recent pages, and to her surprise, she had seen that Tsunade did in fact, have thoughts about adopting Naruto, but she was only held back by her fear, and not knowing on how well Naruto would react to it.

And, if Shizune were to be completely honest, having Naruto adopted into their little 'family', it wouldn't be bad at all. In fact, Shizune sometimes wished that was the case.

Having an adorable little brother to tease would be too fun~

Shaking her head away from those thoughts, Shizune turned her attention back towards her mentor, who was currently sleeping in a rather awkward position, with her head face down on the table

"Tsunade-sama..." Shizune murmured out, frowning softly as she could hear faint sniffles coming from the sleeping woman. Shuffling the items around to her other hand, Shizune gently rubbed the bare skin on Tsunade's shoulder, in an attempt to comfort the woman, "It'll be alright..." She murmured.

Comforting her for a few more seconds, Shizune slowly pulled her hand away, and silently moved around the room, trying to find the best place to put the sake saucer and the nearly empty bottle of sake.

With her back turned now as she found a suitable cupboard to place the sake bottle in, after placing the sake saucer in the sink to wash up at a later date, Shizune quickly went to the bedroom to fetch a blanket so she could wrap Tsunade up in it so she didn't freeze overnight.

She would bring her to the bed, however, Tsunade was much too heavy for her, and as much as she didn't want to admit it, Tsunade's breasts probably weighed more than what Shizune did combined.

As Shizune crossed the room and out of sight, unseen to her, were two little snowflakes, gently floating within the room.

One of which fell down to Tsunade, and gently melted into her frizzled hair, whilst the other gently floated about, following the pathing to Shizune, where it to, would go unnoticed and melt in her hair, and thus, completing the wish that was spoken by both Shizune and Naruto.

Then, their entire world would change, and so to, would Tsunade's, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
