Over the next two weeks I trained along side Issei fighting against Tannin and trying to improve ourselves, our abilities, and me trying to improve Issei's tactical choices and make them not just run at the enemy...that has been trying but progress has been slowly made. It makes me happier everyday that he is who he is now all the good traits (mostly) and some developing Draconian traits. Pride for example has been on the rise with him starting to take some proud in himself. I AM SO PROUD OF HIM! He is still perverse don't get me wrong that has not left him but at least now he can mostly contain it and it is limted to Rias, Akeno, and Asia so I see it as a overall improvement. We even developed some new combo moves together to take on Tannin and they did pretty damn well.

Oberon's training was hell. From the times i laid my head down till I laid down Oberon was driving me ragged. Magic, Swordsmanship, rituals, history, and general tactical ability were on the table with enchanting and alchemy still being taught by Merlin who doesn't talk much around Oberon. Last I checked Merlin is Oberon's kid so maybe they had a falling out but they at least are keeping it professional. The most improved section for me was my knowledge of alchemy and swordsman ship. First swordsman ship.

We went over guards, techniques, the correct way to slash and thrust, how best to engage an enemy, and parries. It was more grueling that Tannin just because unlike Tannin who was simple power and survival Oberon was all about technique. Luckily before he left at the last day he left a training regime with more moves and things for me to practice and work toward. Now to Merlin and alchemy.

His was a knowledge dump and a half. I have gotten the idea of potion making, poisons, elixirs of all kinds, I even learned the way to turn things into solid gold. Most of this knowledge I have not been able to use but he did bring up something interesting. The philosophers stone. The end goal of Alchemy. He has started to go into its history and understanding and has been talking quite a lot about it. When I asked about he simply looked at me and said "You are immortal. Xenovia is not. Think about it" That was a wake up call to get on experimenting and trying to find out how to make one with Merlin giving me little hints that seem to work. He says he doesn't know how to make one but he has always had a theory and I might be able to complete it but I think there is more to it.

The last factor I didn't mention specifically before now because it is...magic. I don't even know what to say honestly. My magic is now 10 times everyone's combined. That includes Rias, Akeno, Asia, Koneko, Kinba, and less impressively Issei. Not to mention improving attack power and reducing cost we have been focusing on which has just made me probably 15 times more dangerous in just magic alone. I now just have named attacks not really spells, my fire has turned completely blue, and lightning has improved more as well. I can't take on any heavy hitters yet but I am getting close now to be able to stand up to Tannin...Issei is at that point two but I am flabbergasted at my development not his. His was expected mine was not...well if you at least ask me.

On the 31st day I do a couple small little spells to clean myself up and get some clothes. "Ay Zander!" I turn and catch Issei's fist in my hand

"Yes Issei?" I say not really suprised. That pride he has developed has made him test himself against me constantly now. Reminds me of Vegeta and Goku. "You want one more bout I assume?" I try to get my self back into my original mentality before we came. If I am to have the power and status of a King might as well try to carry myself as one

"HELL YEAH!" He yells I laugh softly

"Fine then Tannin won't be here for a couple more hours so one more bout can't be too bad." I say teleporting to one end of our clearing we had made with our fights with Tannin and draw Excalibur "When ever you are ready Issei" I say reading my selfef

[WELSH DRAGON BALANCE BREAKER!]

"Then here I COME!" He yells before rocketing towards me.

I use [Rapidly] and shoot towards him as well. We near each other and Issei swings at my head with me dropping back and attempting to slash at his chest. I have the holy essence to the lowest I can get since I don't won't to kill him. I crack his chest plate but get a fist to the stomach for my trouble sending me into a tree. "huuu!"

"how do like that!?" He yells. Getting cocky Issei? Not a good idea around me

"[Nightmare]" I say as the world for Issei darkens to just a few feet around him. While Issei is lower down on the power scale he is suseptible to nightmare but that doesn't last

"Not doing much ar- huuah!" He tries to speak as he rockets back 15 feet. "AY WHAT THE!" He says looking at my hand with a glove and my insignia now surrounded in flmaes.

"[Destruction]" I say with a smile. I have gotten over the shock and frustration of people breaking out of nightmare or seeing through anything I make. It is a good distraction tool and I am now using it as such "Less talking and gloating and more fighting Issei or is your bark worse than your bite?"

He rockets towards me and slams me in the face sending me into a rock before coming to me and grabbing me by the leg and tried to start slamming me but I raise my hand "FIRE!" I say like a command and a blue flame smacks him in the face breaking off parts of his helmet. I land on my my back putting my hand to the ground "Have a nice flight!" I yell at him him as the ground fires upward knocking him into the air.

He steadies himself and looks down at me "Now using magic huh?" He asks me "A little unfair to me don't ya think?" I says with a small smile as his helmet reforms

"All is fair in war Knucklehead" I say as I ready my Excalibur for what i know is coming. He reaches out his hand and a small green orb appears.

Oh this is going to hurt I can tell already. I think before I hear him yell

"DRAGON SHOT!" and the orb fires at me

I raise my shield around me, make a couple magical shields, and as it nears close to me I put in over half of my power and yell to the heavens "[RULER!]" As the orb smacks through my two smaller fields and into my shield from the Scabbard I thrust Excalibur into the dragon shot and twirl the sword around and chuck it at a mountain near us...*BOOOM* And the entire top half of a mountain is obliterated.

"Hahah. I think I am starting to understand how Vali feels when fighting an equal!" So battle lust is apart of you now too? Don't make me [Ruler] You...But yea this is fun but just when we were about to continue the fun police shows up.

"I see you two still have some fight in ya enough to go at it even on the day you leave. haha" Tannin. He gets quite the laugh out of our bouts against each other. "But now is not the time. lets get moving we have somewhere to be." He says I just point towards a space and slash opening up a giant rift

"You all can fly if you want to but I am going home the quick way" I say as I step through and out looking at the Gremory mansion before both Issei and Tannin step through as well.

"You are a kill joy Zander" Issei says

"I agree" Tannin chimes in

"I want a proper shower, some coffee, to see Xenovia, and prepare my best suit for the little get together we are having later. I don't have time for flight" I say before walking in and leaving those two to their own devices. I just hope I can get through today without an excessive amount of nonsense since I will be helping on security detail there so here is hoping...Oh how that hope will be dashed by both a sister with a monkey and...a damn god of mischief.
