Present-day

The woman seemed to appear out of nowhere as she rounded the corner in the little Hamlet that surrounded London. Her eyes quickly passed over the numbers on the neatly rowed houses looking for one in particular. Thankfully she found it after just a few minutes of walking. Quickly she made her way up the steps before she exhaled releasing her nerves before struggling to remember the proper protocol. One glance at the door she found herself staring down a brass knocker. Quickly she picked it up before letting it go as a loud clank reverberated in the air. She repeated the action once more before the door opened.

"Yes? May I help you," the woman on the other side answered and it wasn't hard to see the resemblance between the girl currently laying in the Hogwarts infirmary and this woman before her.

"I am Narcissa Malfoy, and I have come to talk to you about a matter most urgent," the blonde finally said as she watched as a flick of recognition played on the woman's face.

"Malfoy?" The woman asked leaning against the door frame, a man walked up behind her as she continued to speak. "If it's the same family, I don't know why you're here. Hermione told us enough about your family's beliefs to know that you shouldn't nor would you be here," she said firmly.

"Please you must listen there is a plot, one that not only endangers our children but you as well, you must come with me now. Pack a bag and I'll take you somewhere safe but it has to be now!" She insisted as she turned to look behind her shoulder, as a loud clack filled the air.

"Your son has done nothing but torment our daughter since she stepped foot in your world. We almost pulled her out of that school because of it," the man nearly barked. "if it wasn't for that ridiculous law that prevented us from even looking at other magical options for Hermione's schooling, she wouldn't even be at Hogwarts anymore no matter how much she may have fought us on it," He finished as Narcissa nodded her head in understanding.

Several years ago, her husband had passed a law which was meant to keep non-British muggle-borns out of Hogwarts. But the result was also that any British muggle-born couldn't leave Hogwarts until after they sat and passed their Newts, if they did their wand would be snapped and they could be remanded to Azkaban for five years. She had tried to tell him that it was a bad idea but once again her husband failed to see the ramifications that could appear from passing such a law.

"Yes, I know, but please believe me when I say things have changed, haven't you read the letter the headmaster sent you?" Narcissa's asked turning back towards the couple.

"What letter?" Doctors Granger both asked a horrified expression flew onto Narcissa's face.

"You never got a letter?!" The witch questioned, shaking her head in annoyance she continued. "No matter, but please you must believe me," she said reaching into her pocket and pulling out a folded parchment. "Here Auror Shacklebolt said you wouldn't believe me," the woman took the note, reading it as her husband read over her shoulder.

Reaching into the drawer they pulled out a small crystal before passing it over the parchment. As nothing happened, they both seemed to let out a sigh of relief. "Kingsley hasn't led us astray yet," the man offered.

His wife studied the letter, her eyes narrowing as she continued onward before nodding in agreement. "Give us ten minutes," the woman said as they disappeared into the house leaving the door open.

Narcissa bounced on her toes surveying the neighborhood. With the sound of the man talking, she turned around finding he held some odd device against his ear between his shoulder as he tucked several pictures into a few bags. "Yes Marge, something has happened at Hermione's school so the both of us are headed off to Scotland...No I'm not quite sure exactly what happened just that it is an emergency and we have to go... Yeah just call Dr. Malcom he'll handle our emergency patients...No we are not sure when we will be back... Call everyone who has appointments for the next two weeks and ask to reschedule... Yes, I'll call if we need longer... Yes, goodnight," he said just as the woman came downstairs with two large bags in hand.

Placing them on the floor she moved towards another doorway as the man walked over to the wall and opened a small panel before pressing buttons and a loud chirp filled the room. "Five minutes!" He called out grabbing the bags as the woman walked out of the doorway lights turning off as she met her husband.

"So where are you taking us?" The man asked as they shut the door joining Narcissa on the porch. The woman turned and inserted the key into the door.

"Somewhere safe, follow me," she said as they grabbed their cases, walking back the way she came.

"What about the car?" The woman asked suddenly.

"We took a cab, we didn't want to spend the extra money leaving the car parked in the train lot for an indefinite amount of time," the man said as they rounded the corner to the ally way.

"Now hold on to that luggage tight," Narcissa instructed as she reached for both of their hands and disappeared with them in tow.

It was late, near midnight the witching hour as it were. But that didn't matter to the woman who appeared in the middle of the street. Smiling gleefully, she nearly pranced over to the house where her newest victims lay unaware of what was about to happen. After all, it wasn't as if they didn't deserve it, they allowed their daughter to possess something that didn't belong to her, and through that, she had bewitched her nephew. Bellatrix was not pleased that she would have to end her beloved nephew because of the mudblood. Plus, she'd rather not deal with Cissy's whining when it happened. So, these people would pay for that pain. A blasting hex to the door obliterated the object as a loud ear-piercing sound came from the home. Rushing forward she moved through the house causing destruction as her frustration increased at finding no one home. Growling in anger she cursed as a loud cry filled the night.

"This is the police, come out with your hands up!" The male voice cried out. Hissing Bellatrix disappeared vowing to take out her aggression on her husband after all that all he was good for.
