13. Visions Part 3
Vision- 6th Piece
Shimon arrived back to the palace with the prematurely born son of the Pharaoh in his arms. He looked up with a smile when Atemu and his wife, Teana, exited the palace so they could greet him.
Teana is 5'5" with caramel tanned skin; soft, slightly round cheeks; a cute button nose; large, round sapphire blue eyes; thick lips; small muscles; b-cup breasts; a petite body; and short brown hair that almost touches her shoulders.
She is wearing a white dress that falls to the ground with the straps falling off her shoulders. A gold belt is wrapped around her waist and gold bands wrap around her wrists and biceps. White flats protect her feet from the harsh heat of the ground and a crown like her husband's rests upon her forehead.
"Welcome back, Shimon," Atemu said with a smile, his smile slipping when he saw the bundle in the old man's hand. "What is that?"
"Your son," Shimon answered, seeing the Pharaoh pale while his wife's expression flashed shocked before swiftly changing to anger.
"WHAT?!" Teana shouted as she spun on her husband. "HOW COULD YOU?!"
"I-I… Take him back," Atemu responded, not sure how to respond. The only thing he did know was that his son shouldn't be here. He should be with his mother.
"I can't take him back," Shimon returned with a frown.
"Why not?" Atemu asked with a frown.
"Yami doesn't want him," Shimon lied. He didn't want the young King to find out the truth. That would ruin both of their kingdoms. This way, both have an heir that'll help strengthen the kingdom and secure their role as rulers.
"You got my brother pregnant?!" Teana growled, looking ready to murder the Pharaoh. "And what do you mean he doesn't want his son?! Of course he would!"
"Please stop yelling at me! I'm sorry that it happened, but it was necessary to save our lives. I didn't mean to get him pregnant," Atemu responded softly, walking down the stairs so he could finally see his son. "Is Yami alright?"
"I'm not entirely sure. The healer was still with him when I left," Shimon answered, letting the Pharaoh take the child from his arms.
"Is the child a boy or a girl?" Teana asked as she walked over to see the child, smiling at the cute, tanned face. She was mad at the child's father, but her heart melted at the sight of the child. All she wanted was to have one of her own. While not ideal, now she has a baby to mother.
"A little boy. Yami kept the girl," Shimon answered, smiling at the young family.
"Twins?" Atemu asked in surprise, seeing the old man nod. "What did he name them?"
"Yugina and Heba," Shimon answered.
"How did he know that I wanted to name my son Heba?" Atemu asked with a frown.
"We spoke about it last time I saw him," Teana admitted with a blush. "I didn't expect him to actual name your son that. He was against the idea since technically Heba is a girl's name."
Shimon smiled when he found that Teana was warming up to the idea of the child being around, even accepting the child from her husband. He knew that this wasn't the end of their marital issues. But at least they would try to get along for the sake of their newborn son.
End 6th Vision
"SOLOMON!" Arthur shouted, slapping the other old man across his face to snap him out of whatever thoughts he was lost in. The man had been zoned out and completely unresponsive for a good ten minutes or so.
Solomon blinked as he snapped out of the visions. "What just happened?" Solomon asked, rubbing his temple. He blinked when he noticed the pendent still clutched tightly in his other hand.
"You just completely zoned out for ten minutes," Arthur responded with a worried frown. "What happened?"
"I don't know… I think we should speak to the Sennen's though," Solomon muttered.
"The Sennen's? Why?" Arthur asked with a frown.
"I have a feeling that their son is a key to Yami's past," Solomon admitted with a faint blush. "I know I sound crazy."
"You sound like you're not telling me something," Arthur responded, his confusion growing.
"I don't know how… But I saw a series of visions…" Solomon started, a deep frown forming on his face.
"What were they about?" Arthur asked, raising an eyebrow when Solomon gently placed the pendant back on the blanket.
"The vision focused on Yami being pregnant. A man who looked a lot like me was ordered by a man who looked a lot like Atemu to go to Yami's kingdom to monitor the pregnancy and return once the pregnancy concluded. Either by birth or miscarriage," Solomon began. "I saw a vision of arriving in Yami's kingdom, one of me confronting Yami about a dark presence in the palace at night, and another of Yami going into labour. From the second last vision, Yami was in labour for four days before he finally managed to deliver the children."
"Children?" Arthur asked. "Multiple?"
Solomon nodded. "Twins. A boy and a girl."
"The girl is here. What happened to the boy?" Arthur asked with a frown, looking at the mummified toddler in the centre of the room.
"Apparently I kidnapped him when the healer was trying to save Yami. Something happened during the birth and Yami passed out as the son was born. I told the healer to tell Yami that the child died as I left the room, knowing she couldn't chase me down and stop me without killing her King," Solomon explained, looking disturbed by his own past life's actions.
"Good lord. What was the last vision?" Arthur asked.
"It was me handing Pharaoh Atemu and his wife the child. I told them Yami didn't want the child which is why they got them," Solomon answered. "I didn't get to see the repercussion from either side or if they ever found out about my lies."
"Yami would know… We can try talking to the Sennen's… But I don't know how they'll be able to help us," Arthur responded.
"I wonder if he'll have visions if he touches the pendant too," Solomon muttered. "What happens if you touch it?"
Arthur frowned at his friend and touched the pendant. "Nothing," Arthur responded with a frown.
"Interesting," Solomon muttered as he gently rewrapped the pendant back up into the blanket, placing the blanket gently into the box again. "Let's get a hold of the Sennen's."
Arthur nodded and grabbed his phone, dialling the number of their childhood friends. The two seniors used to babysit Amara Sennen when she was really young and the three had been close friends since then. Their friendship expanded to include her husband, Aknamkanon Sennen, after their marriage. The two archaeologists had also looked after their son when he was younger so that the pair could go on a date together.
The phone rang for a few moments before a deep voice answered the phone. "Hello, Sennen speaking."
"Hey, Aknamkanon. It's Arthur and Solomon," Arthur said with a smile, putting the phone on speaker.
"Hey, Arthur. What's up?" a sweet female's voice asked.
"Hey, Amara. We were hoping that we'd be able to talk to you about something we found," Solomon said.
"Can we talk about it later? We have a meeting in five minutes," Aknamkanon cut in.
"We were actually hoping to talk in person. Obviously that won't be now. We found something that we want you to see in person," Solomon responded with a chuckle. If he had a vision, maybe they would too?
"Very well. We have time to meet tomorrow if you like. Would you like us to send the jet? You're still in Egypt, right?" Amara asked.
"Yes please to the jet. And yes, we're still in Egypt," Arthur responded with a smile. "Thank you, Amara."
"Alright. Board the plane in five hours. Say hi to Yugi when you get home," Amara said with a smile, booking their private jet into going to collect the two men. The pair were lucky that their private jet was already nearby because it was sent off to retrieve something for them. Otherwise, the pair would have waited for a lot longer than five hours.
"I better ring Yugi now," Solomon muttered once they hung up the phone, picking his phone so he could ring his grandson.
Arthur merely nodded in return to his friend's words. He'd contact his own family later and arrange for a meet-up. Unlike Solomon, he didn't live with his family. Solomon's grandson lives with the old man when the old man is home.
While Solomon was on the phone, Arthur walked back to the boxes and went back to searching through the items to get a better idea about the child that was mummified behind. What happened to her? How did she die? How did she live? Was there any indication of who she was or who her family was? Yes, they knew Yami was one of her parents. But what else did they know about her? Apparently she's half Egyptian. But there was still a lot of unanswered questions.
'The Sennen's may not know anything about this girl. But maybe they can help us track Yami down? They can use their influence and power to find out where the boy was transferred to. Her maybe they've seen him themselves,' Arthur thought to himself, hand coming to rest on a small handsewn plush that looked like a small version of Yami. In the doll's hand was a child wrapped in a blanket similar to the one the pendant was found in. 'What is the significance of that blanket?'
